Hi all, this is my first time posting a question here. I’m using AT to communicate with my project managers of a construction company when their jobs are delivering and installing. I have two issues they are complaining about. They’ve save the shared link to their phone home screen and when they open it always takes them to the beginning of June when I first shared the link with them. How can I get it to go to today’s date or to this week? One project manager has made a request about the colors. Currently I have the delivery date one color and the install date another color. He wants the delivery date to be the color of the supplier (of 4 choices) I’m using and the Install date to be the color of the crew doing the work (of about 6 options). Is this possible within a single calendar view or would I have to give him two different calendar links - one for delivery and one for install? Thanks in advance!

Is it currently possible to limit the selection options based on the single select conditional field? Example: Single select is ABC or DEF, which makes the next multi-select field visible based on the ABC condition being met. Can I limit the multi-select options based on the ABC selection?

I upgraded from a free account to plus, but accidentally upgraded the wrong workspace. ( upgraded “example bases” - duh). Is it possible to transfer the funds to upgrade the correct workspace? Thanks.

Hi I simply need to add some records to a table into a "Linked Record’ field. I struggle to understand why it’s so difficult. I have this VIEW: and I want to add single and concatenated ‘Linked Orders’ via a script. Is it possible to reference another table in a primary field formula? I would love to be able to automatically add/remove records based on a checkbox value in a separate table. We are using Airtable to keep track of email accounts and distribution lists for our company. A distribution list can be associated with singular email accounts as well as other distribution lists. For this reason we have two tables - “Email” and “Dist Lists”. “Email” lists all accounts including distribution lists which are distinguished with a checkbox, and a separate table, “Dist Lists” links back to “Email”. The problem is any time I create a distribution list I have to add the record to both “Email” and “Dist Lists”. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi everyone, We installed the CSV import blocks inside our Airtable because we have a CSV file that we have to update daily to make sure the data is up-to-date. We use a column to merge with that always has a unique value (product_id). Like this we want to keep the data up to date for example when a price changes or when a new product is added. The strange thing is that we import a CSV and we receive a lot of duplicates which are not in the CSV file itself. Even stranger is when we right after import the same CSV file again it will continue to import duplicate rows inside our Airtable. Since we just updated it, in my opinion there shouldn’t be any rows to update the second time we import the CSV. Is there anyone that has experienced these kind of issues and does anyone know a solution how to solve this? It would help us out very much. Thank you in advance! Max

Hello, How do I embed an entire airtable table into my website but allow people to edit it (it will be on a password protected site with viewers who only have permission to edit). When I tried to embed the airtable it was only viewable not editable on my website? Fyi I’m using Adobe Muse html widgets.

Can you add “Page Description” for the default values of web-clipper text fields ? The Meta tag option won’t work because websites use different syntaxes. Most scrapping tool try common known meta tag then default to the first paragraph (or first N lines) otherwise use the selected text

I want to write a script that will loop through the all tables to check if there is any conflict of assigned date to any person. Can anyone put me through please. I’d like to use Airtable as an IT helpdesk of sorts. I want to be able to open my users/asset table, select a record, and have a block that shows a record list that is filtered based on that selected record. So, if I have a computer asset selected, it will list all of the ticket’s related to that specific asset. Is this possible somehow?

I feel like if I could have a block that would pull a specified field from a selected row, that would act like the “Long Text Field” popup window, I’d be able to ditch Notion. I just need a place to easily see longer text. Here’s an example. I just want to to change each time I select a new record. The popup is nice, but it’s not persistent.

I run courses at an art school. I have initially populated a base and various tables with student information imported via csv. Now I need to import new information regarding new courses. Some students will be the same. How do I update the original student records with this new information? It seems basic like there should be a check box to update existing records where name and phone number are equal. Any help would be appreciated

@Mohamed_Swellam @Justin_Barrett Hey, I’m trying to integrate Zapier and Ship Station. My orders have a linked field “products” with multiple records. When the items get imported to ship station it is as one item “item 1, item 2, item 3” if I use a lookup field. They need to be separated into individual columns. Is there a way to expand all the linked items into their own column or integrate a better way? BH

I have a base with volunteer information, and for each volunteer record, I have a field for skills. This is a linked record to a separate table that lists the skills. I’m trying to create a grid view of the skills that is grouped by the name of the skill, with each linked record (volunteer) listed on a separate row below. What I’m getting is one record with each of the linked records listed together in the Volunteers field. Is there a way to list them separately?

I currently have a base sync for which I want to reverse the direction of that sync–so that the source table is now the destination table and vice versa. To do this, can I simply delete the URLs in the remote record URL field and switch the source/destination tables?

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to dublicate data from a table to another one (with more fields) For example a table called STUDENTS (with students informations) And another one called MARKS (for students marks), so basically student information must be in MARKS table too. and if I update a record in a table the record must be updated automatically in other one! I am looking for a way to essentially reproduce the Airtable form within slack. I.e. create a slack app that emulates an Airtable form whereby I can fill out the form and push data into Slack. Has anyone tried to accomplish something like this? I am familiar with the Zapier push integration and /cmd line options but I haven’t yet seen a good example of a way to push structured data from slack into Airtable in a way that emulates the correpsonding Airtable form.

Hi. I’m setting up a base that has data relevant to different suppliers and adding blocks to show headcount, chart of headcount by skill type etc. It is possible to set up blocks in a dashboard that are only relevant to the view being accessed, i.e. if i’m in the overall resource list I see blocks reflecting all data. If I access a specific supplier view (within the same base) I only see blocks reflecting data for that supplier? Hope that makes sense!
