I’d like to show a single calculated column of data (field 2) in an embedded table without the primary field (field 1). I recognise that I can’t hide the primary field within Airtable - but in the iframe code? Is there any way via: html creating a linked table and embedding that some other solution? Help please!
Hey can someone tell me why I keep getting a error I tried so many different ways that I know but i seem to can't figure It out😩
Here is a link to a quick video...how do I import from a .csv file and route certain fields to certain tables, and maintain the links and relationships? It seems like I have to import to each table separately, and then somehow re-link after the imports? What is best practice for doing this?https://share.zight.com/kpuvqg4q
I’m currently creating an order form that will populate in the a table. I’ve noticed that if I make a typo in the field name on the form view, the typo will stay on the table view even when it is corrected on the form view. Is there a way to avoid fixing errors twice? This also happens if I enter a field on the table view and change the name on the form view. They end up not matching up. This may be user error but some guidance would be appreciated.
Hey, I’ve set-up a rather long form, and I’d like to divide it and give an explanation in that division. For instance, a section header: “Tell us about yourself” and then a short paragraph below: The next few questions ask about your name and your job. Fill them in for yourself and anyone in your group who is coming. The form gives space for four people and another spot to add even more if needed. Once you’ve given the names of all the people in your group, skip to “Your Preferences” below. Is there a way to do something like this?
Hello, i’d read all discussions here to resolve my issue and nothing work, how i can get it done with this discussion :slightly_smiling_face: for this i created two tables, one contain survey results and the second contain users entries, they add their profil and based on automation airable add via the linked field all similar profil, until this point all is good. For one of the survey questions, i asked people for main daily missions they do (multiple select field), when i check the lookup or rollup field that get missions data from all result i see many missions many times, i would like to have unique values but seems impossible, i tried all tips that i found here  any advice please ?
Link to video talk thru:https://share.zight.com/2NuoL7deI am currently in the process of comparing some Upwork freelancers who are helping me with researching the Ownership of commercial properties in the US, and contact information for those owners. Before embarking on a larger (and more costly) project of 40,000 properties, I had several providers run a Trial with 100 Properties, all of which I know the owners and their contact information.I'm trying to figure out who to somewhat normalize the data and compare each provider's results with my data, so that I can pick the right partner. Not sure how to do it, but I'm looking to have an accuracy % for each Provider for each field and in total. My thinking is something along the lines of importing it all into a new base, somehow using the Property Address as the Grouping field, and showing my MASTER ANSWER key and all 8 data files from the service providers and using Conditional Formatting compared to the MASTER to color code for exact mat
I have a table Treatments and a table Users. Then I have a table Users_Treatments where each record is a combination of one User and one Treatment, and in addition there is a Review field (basically users review treatments they have tried). I have already pre-populated the Users_Treatments table with users and treatments but I miss the reviews. I would like to create a Form, so that each user can add a review for each one of the treatments they have tried. Is this possible? I only managed to create a Form that however shows only one treatment per user.
Hi everybody, I am attempting to use forms to update fields in my table. I need to be able to pre-populate the other fields in the form with the current information that is in the table, is this possible? For example: I have a table of "Items", and each row has the item name and columns of information about the item- owner, amount, etc. In the form, the first question is "what item would you like to update?" with a linked record to the first column with all the items. When an item is chosen, I'd like the other fields to auto-populate with the current information in the table with that item, so they can see what they're updating. If they choose "Scraper", for example, I want the next field of "How many" to auto-populate with the amount that is in the table, and then of course I want them to be able to edit it if necessary. Is this possible, maybe with Zapier? Thank you.
Hi all--Thanks in advance for your thoughts. I have a items shown in the attached that are different content that have different topics associated with them (you can see the column of topics). I'd like to get a view in Airtable where I see all of these segment names associated with the individual topics in lists in 1 view. The way I've thought about doing it is to try grouping them, but when I group them, they sort with the 4 topics together, not as individual topic lists. Grateful for any advice on how to do this!
Hello, I am trying to understand more about the paid plans, and who exactly on the team needs to pay for plans to access bases that use paid features. We use airtable for our general employee handbook. Although everyone needs to access it, only the admin team needs to have editing/creator rights. From my understanding, someone with a paid plan account needs to create a workspace that houses the handbook base. Then they would share it with the rest of the team, and note in airtable who needs read-only permissions (in which those users won't need paid plans to access the base), and those who should have editing rights (in which we would then need to pay for their plan). Is this correct? We want the handbook base to have the paid features of higher record limit and sync intergrations which would be useful, but we don't want to end up paying $20 a month per seat for everyone just for those two features as the cost isn't justifiable for our case. Additionally, if we have
Hello,I work for a growing nonprofit that needs *help* in the area of Email Marketing. We use Airtable to manage our various lists of people and their contact information, but I need a good Email Marketing App that will integrate well with Airtable. We're using MailChimp right now, but it's a mess because it's not integrated with our Airtable contact lists. Can anyone recommend a setup for using Airtable as the CRM, integrated with another Email Marketing App that can:Automatically sync contact lists "two ways" with Airtable.Meaning, if someone updates the Airtable list then the Email App's List will be updated, or if someone Subscribes using an Email App SignUp Form then Airtable's Lists will be updated. (FYI, MailChimp doesn't do this natively, neither does Outfunnel which integrates Airtable and MailChimp.)Manage the Contact Lists, tags, groups, etc. in Airtable, andDesign & send no-code marketing emails using the Mail App, pulling from my Airtable lists.I was looking
Hey! We build our company automation and centralized system with Airtable's API & Automation systems. We use 1 Workspace with many many different Bases. Could the Dashboard (in the main view) have folders inside the Workspace that can be used to divide the different bases, which would make it easier to organize and find the right Base. The view looks really messed up right now.
I live in Lagos, Nigeria, one of the biggest commercial hubs in Africa and I think it's a shame that Airtable is hardly known here. People are still using decade old desktop versions of popular office software that they learned to use when they were in university. I would like to officially partner with Airtable to showcase the product to businesses in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. I sent an email through the Airtable contact form about this but I received a generic response that sounded as if the person didn't even understand my request. I'm hoping that an Airtable community manager or sales representative will respond to this post.
Hi - the iframe code that is generated when you want to share a view makes it look like the background can be changed, but it is always grey regardless of what I do with the iframe code. Has anyone been able to change the background color? Thanks. <iframe class="airtable-embed" src="https://airtable.com/embed/shdfgsfgs0I?**backgroundColor=blue**" frameborder="0" onmousewheel="" width="100%" height="533" style="border: 1px solid #ccc;"></iframe>
We have been using the free version of Airtable for awhile and wanted to upgrade our account to paid to allow for more boards. The creator of the account is no longer with our organization and we don't have access to that email address. So when we "request an upgrade" it goes nowhere and we are stuck.I have emailed support numerous times, emailed Sales numerous times and I am not getting any response. If Airtable only responds to accounts that pay - how can customers who don't pay right now upgrade? We are in an endless loop of having no answers.
I want to change the name of a selection in a single-select field. When I went to do that, the warning of all that will be affected came up: 2 syncs, 12 interfaces, etc. My question is, will this mean I need to go make changes to all of these or will it automatically happen? I'm hesitant to try it w/out knowing the consequences as it affects a great number of things, including automations that a developer set up for us.
Is it possible to automatically submit a form? I’m creating a series of links that have the form input prefilled. Each can take me to the form with the info I want ready and waiting (which is terrific). At that point I have to click Submit. I’m using this for class attendance, so it’s a quick rundown of 25 entries at a time. It would be ideal to load the prefilled URL and have that submit automatically. Is that possible? TIA, Nathan
I have a requirement to embed the airtable form in our website and redirect to a url when the form is submitted. However, when clicked on submit button the redirect url is blocked by pop-up blocker(enabled by default on websites). I used the sandbox attributes but still no luck. Am able to open the form in a new tab but that’s not my requirement. I would like to embed the form in my current page. Is there a workaround available?
I have created a redirect page for the user to be sent to once the form is submitted. Browsers seem to be detecting this as a pop up and just sending them back to a new form. Is there a way around this?
Email fields in forms don’t seem to be validated very strongly. My form keeps accepting entries like “name. lastname@host.com” (notice the space). How do I prevent the form from accepting badly formatted emails like this?
Hello all This thread is only to ask if anyone can confirm if this is possible… and if it is… then WOOHOO, I will sign up for a Pro account immediately and abandon my attempts at this in FileMakerPro!!! Scenario: I run a youth program with about 85 teenagers enrolled. Throughout the year we offer trips, excursions, courses, events, competitions, etc. In preparation for each event, I need to know how many kids intent to participate so I can plan for meals, resources, transportation, etc. Currently I am doing this via Google Forms. I create one form for each event, and ask the kids to fill it in if they want to participate. But that means that every single time they have to enter their first name, last name, email address, phone number, etc. Which is crazy, since I have all that info already. But by doing it this way, the Google Form fills out a Google Sheet, which becomes my roster of attendees for planning, attendance, contact roster, etc. Two days ago a friend introduced me
Apologies if the question sounds weird. Basically, what I am trying to create is a form that records user and their IT asset. What I would like to have is that when I select their ID (the AD Login option) on the form, if they have an existing asset, it should automatically be shown on the "Old Asset Tag" option. If they don't have an existing asset, it will not show up. Is it possible to actually do so with Airtable? Or do I need something else?(In case you are wondering why don't I just split the form into one for new records and one for update, it's because I need to show the "history" of the user and their IT asset. With this way of recording, I can see the "history" of what IT asset the user previously has or not.)
I have brought in multiple tables to Microsoft Power Query via Airtable’s API which creates queries for the tables. The issue I have is that all linked records Display [List]. When I click on that field the record appears to be the Record ID for the linked tables Primary Key. I assume that this needs to be extracted and then merged with the corresponding table(s) by the record ID then just expand the column that is actually linked. Is this the only way and if not is it the most efficient?
Hello all--I run a content company and we have many different types of content and about 1,000 individual pieces of content. I would like to create an AI field that would provide recommended or related content by reading in the table the segment title and description. When I've tried it, it recommends ideas for new content related to that title or description, not related content within the table which is what I want. I've tried asking it to read cells using the {} brackets, but it still just suggests content ideas unrelated to what's in the table. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
