I have a table that syncs from emailed data from CSV attachments. I need to be able to delete some individual records. (The data is not valid, and it's messing with roll-up calculations.) When I try to delete a record in the main record UI it's grayed out and says "To delete this new record, update this table's sync configuration so that records are deleted when deleted or hidden in the source." But I don't know how to get to the source since it's an emailed CSV? Can anyone advise on how I can get some records deleted from the synced table? Either through accessing the source data (how?) or through a script or API override of sorts? Open to any suggestions. TIA!

Hello,I would like to know how to hide some options from a field in an airtable form.For example, my grid has a column that offers the following choices: "Office", "workshop" and "housing".In the form, I would like to display only "Office" or "Workshop".The reason for this is that this form is intended for people who are not supposed to be looking for "housing". Hello --I have a base that I have created that my coworkers use in Kanban view. I would like to assign keyboard shortcuts to the various "Add Record" buttons for each column in the view. Is there a way to do this? It would vastly accelerate our ability to use the table when additional detail beyond category is not needed for each record.
Hello All,I am creating a form to compile completed project data from a small architectural firm. One field in the form links directly to an existing table of consultants. When that field is selected, the list of consultants is visible and selectable but once an actual consultant is selected the box never seems to populate and the 'thinking' circle just spins.Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this?Thanks!
Is there a way to set the default formatting for currency fields (or for that matter other number fields) either per base or per account/workspace?Every time I create a new currency field I have to manually change $ to £ and set the decimal places. This is tedious
We have a base where users go to print documentation from specific records.Nobody is supposed to be changing the Page Designer instance at all, but I think people are accidentally adding or moving fields when they access the extension.1) Is there any way to identify who made changes to the Page Designer configuration?2) Is there any way to limit who is allowed to edit the Page Designer configuration?Currently all editors are able to edit the configuration, and I don't see any way to change it - I'm really hoping I'm just missing something.Thanks! 😊
Hi! Is it possible to hide a field from an end-user form, but still be able to see it in my table view?That is to say, I need the field for internal information, but I do not want my customers to see that field when they fill out the form. Thanks!
Dear Community, I have a trouble to hide a field with conditions in form view and I’m losing my mind with this. My goal logic is like this: HIDE field 3, when field 1 contains “word” AND field 2 is not empty. But form view has only option to show field with conditions. How I can make this field disappear with show field conditions ? Trying to invert the logic do not work: show field 3, when field 1 does not contain “word” AND field 2 is empty. Any ideas ?

Hi all, So, i’m testing the pro plan to see if creating an invoice might be possible. I see that it is possible even though blocks like page designer are not extensive. The problem is this. Let’s say i make one so from every record i can have an invoice. Is it possible to get this invoice (pdf) back into the table of the record? The person i am making this for only works from his phone for his company and i’m trying to improve his workflow. Otherwise would there be options where i can generate a link as part of the record and then through zapier and some pdf service create an invoice. I saw online that this is possible and for setting up it would be oke to do it on a desktop but in practice this all needs to be setup so it can be access it throught a mobile phone (preferable the Airtable app).
I’ve made an invoice system in airtable. I now need to export to send to a client. However I need my invoice to follow a certain naming convention to be able to use for later. I’ve made a function field to takes care of that. I can PDF from the print prompt and name my document, but I need to copy/paste the name from my function field every time. Is there a way to automatically name my PDF based on my function field?
There seems to be an issue with uploads for years, the bug is uploads / attachments are cancelled if you navigate to a different app or to a different screen/record. Is there anyway to get this fixed (ie. run uploads as a background process?). Running latest version of iOS / AirTable iOS app but the issue has been around for years.

Hi Community, I’m wondering whether there is a need to add a Recaptcha to my forms that collect data from my website to my Airtable. I have form validation logic set up and the fields in the table accept a certain type of data only. Most of my forms use dropdowns except where a user is filling in their name etc. My frontend is built with Vue 3 and there is a package for recaptacha but then I will also need a backend to handle the secret key. I have a base with a table that contains a large number of duplicates that need to be merged and their duplicates deleted. However, this table is synced to a large number of other tables and I don't have a direct line of sight on ALL of these tables. I'm concerned that when I merge and delete, this will break some portion of the linked records that exist in the tables that belong to other people. Do any of you know if the dedupe process can cause issues for others who are synced to the table where the dedupe occurs?
Hello! I've downloaded the app on my iPhone. The first thing I see is the login section. I choose my email and they would send me an email with a 1-tap link. If I open the link on my phone it's says "Sorry, this link won't work on a phone or tablet. Please, open the confirmation link on a laptop or desktop computer to finish signing up". So that's exactly what I do, I go to my laptop and click on the link and it just opens the app normally but on the laptop, the app on my phone remains without logging in, and I can't use the app.

I've been searching airtable forums off and on and yet I can't find a solution that clearly explains what I need to do to achieve my desired results.With the search extension, I have configured the extention to search all tables and sometimes it works fine and other times I get a spinning ball where the search never seems to conclude and fails to reverting anything, even when I search on a known preexisting record. I have tried closing and reopening my browser, closing and reopening airtable, opening airtable in a different browser. Sometimes it starts working again and sometimes nothing I do works until seemingly randomly it starts working again. Any solutions, Work arounds?PS: I have roughly 11,000 records, working via Mac OS and I truly need the global search feature to work (and suspect I might not be the only one experiencing this issue).
Hi! I’m new with integromat coming from Zapier. I have one scenario (zap in Zapier) with the following workflow: Webhook > Find Airtable record >Find/create a Gdrive folder > Create a google doc from template > Update record in airtable > Upload file in gdrive using export link from google docs I’m trying to replicate the same workflow in integromat and I was able to accomplish until updating record in airtable but when it comes to uploading a file using an export link from google docs it churns out a file.html document and not a pdf file. Below are screenshots of my workflow in integromat. Looking for any guidance on how I can make this work?
I am currently using the page designer app and I am trying to export to PDF using print > save as PDF because I cannot find an actual export button. Unfortunately, when I open the PDF, it’s an absolute mess of formatting and cryptic symbols. Any advice on how to export to PDF correctly?
Trying to work through how I might accomplish this. We are using airtable to store some QC records which eventually have to be passed to an owner and would not be able to live in airtable forever. Table 1 would have the relevant "items" and then tables 2-5 for example would have different types of qc records related to the item(s) in table 1. Table 2 might be paint QC that is for a particular area (1-1 relationship to table 1) whereas table 3 might be a daily report that could cover activity for multiple locations (1-many relationship to table 1). Each record in tables 2-5 would have a PDF attachment of 1 or more pages.What I'm trying to think about doing is running a script/automation/something that would grab all of the PDF attachments, compile then together by report type, then create a table of contents and add hyperlinks in the PDF that match the linking structure in the base. Hi,I'm pretty new at managing users in Airtable. I have downgraded a number of user accounts from "Editor" to "Viewer." However, many of them have regained "Editor" status, within a day of the downgrade.Are users getting some kind of notification when I downgrade them?Are there likely mechanisms for the users to regain Editor status?Are there reasonable ways to control for the Editor status, so that our number of Editor (aka billable) users is manageable?Thanks, and have a good day,Joe Montibello
