Can’t find anything. Was working on other things like importing data, building AI etc for a large excel database i have. But pls advise how can i retrieve my base “Sales Pipeline”
Was adding leads to a dbase and chugging along. Next thing I know, AirTable stops accepting any inputs. Checked my wifi, logged out and back in. Anyone have a similar issue? Any suggestions, tips or hints would be welcomed.
Hello everyone,Does anybody know a good resource or place where I can find examples of professionally built Airtables across various industries, preferably ones that I can interact with and explore?I feel like seeing examples of what other people have done will help me become a better builder and guide my own future designs. Thanks!
Recently I have noticed that the more compact menu that is displayed when a record is clicked in calendar view seems to have reduced functionality. Specifically, I can no longer edit fields from that menu and ‘multiple select’ fields seem to not allow for options being chosen from that menu anymore. However, when you click to expand that record view, everything works as its supposed to. The photo I have attached points out what I am referring to. I have tried this with multiple records, newly created records, different fields, and I have already closed and reopened Airtable. Any help or insight is greatly appreciated!
Is there a way to prevent people from making edits, or self-upgrading their account from a Viewer to an Editor? I am on Enterprise Scale and constantly have to check to make sure people arent self-upgrading to Editor and thus taking away seats, or using seats we do not have available. One solution I found was to make everyone only an editor, but then they cant configure or modify the base which means I, or my team, would have to configure their base for them which we cannot support. Has anyone here found a solution for this? Seems kind of silly that there isnt a setting within the Admin panel to prevent this from happening.
We have recently experienced some issues with read-only share links access. It appears a user must have an account in Airtable to access a read-only share link. Is this the case?
We are stating to use portals - and we have our internal Jira linked with automatic status updates. The external clients with access to the portals want to do the same with their Jiras. Any ideas on how to make this work?
Hello,I'm building a new business (creating adult study abroad programs, targeted at the US market) and using Airtable for product management and CRM. I had initially planned to use Mailchimp, via a Make integration, for both marketing and transactional emails, but I have hit a wall importing my initial contact list from Airtable into Mailchimp. I am not a developer and Mailchimp support has been confoundingly bad (2 weeks of effective radio silence, then 3 days of denying that their platform integrates with Make), so Mailchimp and I are going to have to part ways.I am looking for recommendations for a marketing email platform that I can integrate with Airtable - either directly or via Make - without needing to code. Does this exist? I have read on other posts here that Sendgrid integrates directly...but I don't know if this is the best solution. Here's what I need:- robust no-code email editor (similar to Mailchimp)- ability to update contact list based on multiselect tags in multiple
Hey guys,I'm looking to connect Google Analytics 4 or Google Tag Manager to Airtable. I can't seem to find a direct link option or any place to input custom code snippet to achieve same purpose. Thanks a lot!
Hello all, -- newbie alert…Hopefully someone can help me.I duplicated a form (under the form building option) - changed a few fields. I want the data to go to another Airtable base that I’ve created but the source option is greyed out… Thank you in advance :)
I need to speak as fast as possible with Airtable support team in order to upgrade my plan. Please if someone has any point of contact reply as fast as possible.
Hi -I need to collect data on the number of projects per month that change from “potential” to “launched”. We currently have this field set up as a single select drop down that we manually update once the project status changes. I am assuming in order to track this I will need to add a time stamp or something to the changes being made? Or can an automation do this? We need to track over the entire year the total number of product status changes, but I am unsure how to collect this info. Maybe a monthly report that gets emailed to me showing the changes that I can then tally?Appreciate any help/ideas! Thank you!
I'm trying to reorder the fields in one of my tables so that when viewing them via a linked record, they are organised in relation to how we use them. It's my understanding that to do this, you need to reorder the fields via the first view that was created in that table. I guess that view is essential the 'master view' in that table.I've been successful at doing this for several tables already, but only by coincidence. Upon deleting some views in the other tables, a view that was only accessible by another user would appear in the view list. I was able to select the view to see the content but couldn't make any changes as it was locked to that user. I reached out to them and they changed it to a collaborative view, where I then reordered the fields and they showed correctly when looking at the linked record from another table. I've tried doing that on the table where I'd like to reorder the fields, but no extra views are showing up. I'm thinking that the 'master view' is already co
I am using my Samsung S22 Ultra running One UI version 8.0, android version 16 software. Hardware version REV1.0 Airtable app was last updated dec 3 version 6.40.0 I am taking pictures with my mobile device directly through the attachments field in each record. I have tried using my mobile connection and Wi-Fi connection to see if one is better than the other, but the same issue happens regardless of my connection. logging out of the app, restarting the phone, uninstall and reinstall, tried all of that! I even tried all of those things in a row but still no success. I am able to take one picture after a phone restart, but that is not guaranteed each time. I am able to upload images from my own photo gallery on my mobile device one at a time. Also able to upload several images at a time by pc on a web browser. neither of these options is time efficient for me at all and I have had to completely change my already delicately timed workflow to get my images into the records. but that mea
Hi everyone,we’ve been experiencing an issue with the Airtable app and I wanted to check if others are seeing the same thing. Our technicians — and I can confirm this myself — are constantly being prompted to log in again. Sometimes you can get around it by fully closing and reopening the app, but this gets really annoying during daily work.Is this a known issue? And is there any chance the re-authentication interval could be extended? Thanks in advance!
Is there a way to have them receive an email receipt of some sort so they know the submission went through? I think I have it set up to tell them Submission Received, at the end, but they are missing it and then filling it out again. I’m not sure if it’s a easy fix and I’m just not seeing it or if it’s not there. And, I guess if it is there and I’m missing it, is it only for paid memberships or free as well. I have a personal account that is a free account, but had the same issue there as I do with the other.
Hello everyone! How can I manage user-level access in Airtable so that each role only sees specific tables or fields? Does Airtable support row-level or column-level permissions?Details:I’m building a structure where I have multiple tables (Operational, Manager, Admin), and each user role should only see the data that belongs to them. For example:Operational users should only see the Operational tableManagers should see both Operational and Manager tablesAdmin should see everythingInterfaces solve part of the problem, because I can show or hide tables and fields, but I want to confirm:Is there any way to implement real column-level permissions? Is there any way to implement true row-level permissions? Are interfaces the only recommended approach to hide fields and restrict access?I want to be sure I am building the structure correctly. Thank you!
I’m trying to enable users filling out a form to create a new contact. For context, I’m building a repository of companies and their points of contact. Currently, the “Add Contact” button only allows selecting from existing contacts already in the repository. Since this form is meant for intake, I want users to be able to create new contacts directly from the form and have them automatically linked to the company. When I reached out to support, they said when using Airtable's form builder, you can only link to existing records in a linked record field. Users won't be able to create a new linked records directly through the form. Are there workarounds or unique solutions to this limitation?
Hello,I’m new to Airtable and in trouble with airtable forms. For example, here is the situation.I collect weekly requests from my school friends through a Form.In the Form, they write how many of each drink they need and submit it.I then store all of this data in a database.Let’s assume my friend wants to fill out the Form like this: Cola: 5 bottles Water: 154 bottles Orange juice: 30 bottles Wine: 2 bottles Beer: 15 bottles I already have a base where each drink—Cola, Water, Orange Juice, Wine, Beer—is listed. However, it seems that the Form does not allow submitting multiple quantities for a single drink. Since I’ve only been using Airtable for a few days, I may be misunderstanding something.Could you please let me know if my understanding is correct?Or is there something that I can try? Thank you for your help in advance.
Hello guysI am reaching out to clarify a question regarding your licensing model. I would like to know whether users who will only access and view bases and databases created under a paid account are required to have a paid license as well.In other words: if I have a workspace under a paid plan, do additional users who will only view or consult information (without editing or modifying data) need a paid license, or can they access it for free?Thankyou!
Any way to Isolate or hide data in the base via access or other means? If I create an inteface with linked data from another base, will the base data be visible by those who have base access? This is relevant when attempting to report on the status of legal work where the repoting dashboard interface needs the metrics however not everyone needs to have access to the back-end data related to the specific cases. I hope I am explaining this so it’s understandable.
I’m trying to filter using linked records but i must have a mental block. Table A is People Records. it is linked to: Table B: Service Records (multi records) Table C: Congregation (one record) Table C is Congregation. It is linked to: Table D: Districts (one record) Note: it is NOT linked to Service Records, but does have a lookup field to Service Records (from People). Table D has lookup fields for: Service Records (from Congregations) I want to report the number of Districts that had at least one Congregation that has a Service Record that meets the following criteria:Service contains “2025 11” {Service is the “Name field”} Service does not contain “Cancelled” {Service is the “Name field”}I also want to report the number of Congregations that have a People Record with a Service Record that meets the same criteria.Service contains “2025 11” {Service is the “Name field”} Service does not contain “Cancelled” {Service is the “Name field”} The problem i’m running into is that some Pe
Hi,I'm building a Kanban-style interface that needs to display data from two separate sources.Goal: The first column of the Kanban should list Job Listings (Source 1). The subsequent columns should display relevant Candidate Profiles (Source 2). A single candidate would be able to be placed more than once in the Kanban with different Job listing. Essentially, I want to map multiple candidates to a single job listing within the Kanban view.Currently, I'm struggling to set up this dual-source data structure in the interface. Is there a standard or recommended method for achieving this job-to-candidate grouping functionality?
We’ve embedded Airtable to a knowledge base article on Zendesk. When accessing the article on your laptop or desktop, you’ll see all the features that you would normally have like filter, group, etc. at the top of your Airtable base. However, on mobile, those features do not show up, making it difficult for us to support our mobile users. Even selecting the “view larger version” link doesn’t help. Is there a way for us to default it to show the web version of the Airtable base in the embed? Or is this a known bug or product gap?
I have added some new views and a form in the production view, but they are not appearing in the sandbox view, so I am unable to create any automation specifically around the form I created. How do I sync back to the sandbox?
