Hi Everyone, I want to create multiple forms to gather contacts for different reasons - Subscribers who want our newsletter Those who want to download our resource Those who fill out our profile form All of the forms capture Name, Email and then they have different fields. I want to keep all these contacts in the same table. I was hoping to have one table with 3 different form views. The issue is, I want to track how each contact came in, and I can’t figure out how to tag the submitted responses by the form they submitted. Instead, I have these split across different tables and I manually tag each, then copy/paste new responses into a master list. Am I missing something obvious here? I keep all the tables structured the same so the copy/paste to master is easy.

We have a table called Documents and I want to use a formula that pulls the name of the file in the {Attachment} field in order to provide the Name of the record. I've been using the LEFT({Attachments},FIND("(",{Attachments})-1) for this purpose and it works great, but I've now found that if the name of the attached file contains a comma, then the formula name adds a quotation mark at the beginning of the name. So now I'm trying to combine the SUBSTITUTE and FIND formulas to:1. Look at the name of the attached file, and if it contains a comma then replace it with a hyphen (eg. 'Ocala, FL' becomes 'Ocala-FL' )  2. Then use the name of the attached file as the name of the record without the URL at the end (using the FIND formula). Another acceptable option would be to just remove the comma from any file name in the {Attachments} field and then allow the original LEFT formula to do its work, but I think that might require an additional field. Is there any way to be notified when a base has no new records in a period of time.I'm creating a base where managers need to leave a new record at least once every 30 days.  I want to be alerted when they have NOT left a new record since the last one was posted.Anyone know of a way to do this?

Hi there,In the last few months we been happy with getting an email on each new lead being created in one of our tables. The email contains all the needed data relevant for our sales team. BUT i'd really want that email to contain an attachment which is a .eml file (email) which is populated specifically with the records data. How can i accomplish this?Goal is to minimize errors when our sales rep copy/paste the data from the email.

Hello, I'm trying to merge a CSV but the field that I need to map to is not available to select. I can't select the field I need as the merge field. It is not one of the options in the "choose a field" drop down.

Hey all I've created an automation where when a form is submitted - a record is updated. However! Sometimes there isn't a record to update, so it needs to be created first. So I need to create a process like this:WHEN a form is submitted AND record exists UPDATE it. IF record doesn't exist CREATE itBut the automation is getting stuck on the first part and fails to run into the second. Hello! I'm new to Airtable formulas & could use some much needed guidance! I need to calculate the total with an option of a discount if a multi-select answer is chosen. For context, this is in reference to grades of elementary curriculum books purchased. Hi, I am trying to automate an email message with invoice details for the finance department to create an invoice. For each record (invoice) I have one or multiple sales, invoice lines, so each record will have fields with multiple linked data. In the body of my email I would like to split out these fields by the invoice line (sold item), but they lump together by the fields on one line.Message body build up: Below you can see Sale #1 and Sale #2 with their corresponding fields are clustered on the same line. Using the insert Grid/List of Records into Automation email how can I include more than the Name field of the record,? Similar to what you can do with a Grid in the Page Layout designer? I have an automation attached to a button, and I want to insert the user who is logged in to a field. I can’t seem to figure this out. Is there a current_user() formula?

I have several single select columns with "yes/no" selection answers. I want to make a sort of if/than formula to combine the information from those yes/no columns. For example, in the photo below, there are columns a, b, c ,d, e. We will call those each "foods" for the purpose of the example. If someone says "Yes" to foods a, d, e but they say No to foods b and c, can I make a column that combines the yes data? I would like a formula field to show that the person has chosen foods a, d, e, just like how a multi select field looks. I have thought about using If statements, but I'm not sure if that will allow multiple answers into 1 column. I'm not even 100% sure a formula can give me the information I need. Does anyone have any input on this? 

When I use to copy a base via public share link, automations copied over as well. They were just turned off.Now when I do it, automations aren't copied. They're all gone.Am I doing something wrong? Was this removed?

hi fellow community members, I'm scheduling a series of posts on Instagram.I have created post and assets tables on the same base. However, the image previews formatted as PDFs never show through Lookup. In the attached screenshots you'll see that only one is coming through. That's a PNG screenshot. I understand that this was a major issue in 2020. Does anyone have a solution?Thank you so much!Rafael

Hello Airtable community,I've been working on a project where users input data through a form, and the results are recorded in the base. I have set up a rollup field for each question to calculate the average of the results per field. Now, I want to create a graph in Interface Designer that displays all the columns along with their averages in a single graph and sorts them from highest to lowest average.I'm currently having a hard time achieving this, and I'm wondering if I'm approaching it the wrong way.
