Is it possible to embed a calendar view in an automated email?

Hi all,I have an automaton where at X time, once a week, records are scanned for any projects that are within the next coming week, the status is to be changed to "Upcoming". I am recieving an error message on the update record part. Goal of script:User chooses up to two options in multi-select field.Those multi-select options are 1:1 with the names of the records that are being linked. Hello all!I don't believe this is possible with how automations work with Airtable as I know them, as they seem to be restricted to only automating one table and that one table's records. Regardless, I'm hopeful there's an extension or something that can get around this, as this seems like something that would be extremely useful to most people. I'm going to lay out an example for what I'm trying to do/the parameters around it, rather than trying to explain it with a block of paragraphs.An existing table's records is a list of projects. These projects are labeled as either approved/denied/pending/submitted in this table, and each of the project records were spawned from a submitted form. Hello! Here's my situation.I have a table 'Part List' that is automatically updated with parts from an external base that I do not control. One of the data entries inputted is "version" and "iteration". So I could have the following table:Part #VersionIteration001A1001A2001B1002A1003A1003A2Where the rows in red are the most recent parts (red is only shown here for emphasis, not in airtable). Deleting rows is not an option because I do not control the data source. I want to create a column that will have checkboxes, and it will be checked if it is the most recent iteration.Dedupe does not work because I cannot merge cells that I cannot edit, and I have thousands of entries so that would take too long.I've tried to adapt the Mark Duplicate example but I get the "Api request failed: Request Entity Too Large" error. I have a formula that I'm attempting to show "Sold" if tickets to an event have been sold, but if the tickets have not been sold, to display the number of days until the event. I already have another formula that will give me the number of days until the event.Generally, the formula below is working - except for one scenario, when a ticket was sold for $0.00. You may wonder why a ticket would be sold as zero, but that indicates to us that the ticket was given away - as compared to just not used.I've tried to use the presence of a value (my best working version below), and I've also tried to use the =BLANK variable, because if there is no sale at all then the cell has nothing in it, but Airtable seems to treat a value of $0.00 the same as BLANK.So then I tried a variation of this formula with >=0 but then ALL values were returned as true - even values where there's nothing in the cell.Here's what I have for a formula currently:IF({Event Sale Price}, "Sold", {Days till Event})The

Hi all,I have a simple script that is taking some items from the submission of a Gravity Form and updating an AirTable record. It all works great until I get to a section of the form that has checkbox values. INSIDE of one of those checkbox values is a string that contains a commaCheckbox choicesApplesOrangesPearsGrapes, limes and lemonsI can gather all of these out of Gravity Forms and put them in an array and then implode that array to get a comma delimited list, which is what AT wants to absorb that data for checkboxes.$c=Apples, Oranges, Grapes, limes and lemons"records": [{"id": "'.$id.'","fields":{"Committees": "'.$c.'"}}],"typecast":true}';This of course will cause AT to barf when that comes in and tries to split the Grapes out as its own committee and limes and lemons as another committee. Hi all, I have a two-table base. The first table/screenshot below is for survey responses; each record is an individual survey response. The second table/screenshot is where the responses roll up for each survey. Is there a way within the rollup filed formula to achieve my highlighted desired result? I'm trying to avoid adding multiple rollup fields for each response type and then concatenating all of the information in a new column.    

I am trying to have a formula which give me the possibility to have on the same line two fields separated by a coma. Currently, I am linking the tables to each other manually when updating project start and end dates. For example, if I add a new project scheduled to start today and end 3/1/2024, I'd add a new record with a start date of 11/30/22, the end date of 3/1/24, and then link it to the "2023 Q4" and "2024 Q1" records from the second Table. Projects don't often (if ever) end when planned, so I come back and update the end dates often which means I also have to go back to check the linked Quarter records to make sure they're still accurate. This seems like something that should be easily automatable.I don't necessarily even NEED the Quarter Table. There is no other information about each quarter that I collect. Hi-  I'm a pretty new Airtable user, and have been trying to find solutions via the community posts, but haven't seen anything exactly addressing what I'm attempting to do.I am trying to populate a field with a number of hours to be worked, only if the month for that work falls within a date range.  In Excel, I was able to make this formula work:  =IF(Column's Month<=Completion Date,Average Monthly Software Hours,0)-IF(Start Date>=Column's Month,Average Monthly Software Hours,0)I tried to replicate the formula in Airtable that I successfully did in Excel, but it isn't returning the same values.I've attached a screenshot of the base as well as the formula I tried.  It feels like there's something wrong with how I'm handling the Column's Month formatting, but I can't figure out what...Many thanks in advance!-Robin

I need an automation to remove a linked record from a linked record field, without removing all linked records from that field.For instance, if a student is in enrolled in the courses 'knitting for war, animal husbandry and marriage, ice cream + pies', but drops 'knitting for war', I'd like the automation to leave the field as 'animal husbandry and marriage, ice cream + pies'. I gather from some forum browsing (specifically this thread) that this cannot be done without scripting. The good news is someone posted a script on that thread. Yay!The bad news is that the script looks like hieroglyphs to me. So, my questions:1) Is it even safe to implement a script for someone whose understanding of scripts boils down to 'it's magic, I guess?' Hey community, Aundre here. I hope you're all doing well!I found this script on YouTube that works once you're on any table view where applicable. I need to automate it to work without being on a specific view. When I run it from automations, it does not work, I get the error below.The automation I am trying to create is to run whenever a record enters a view. It should run the script which compresses images in the IMAGE column via TinyPNG, and then output them in IMAGE COMPRESSION. However, I find that I have to be on the view itself, click 'run script' for it to work. The automation however is not running from a view standpoint, hence why I believe it's giving an error.After the image has been compressed, I'd like the IMAGE column to clear (delete) the original image, leaving only the compressed one. I've been able to do a simple automation for this by making the action an Update record and leaving the IMAGE field blank. However, I need it to be in one where it will clear the origina

I am trying to share specific views of my Airtable base, I specifically want users to see the Tables I am sharing collapsed into their groups, as it makes lots more sense for them to be able to drill down. However, despite me collapsing all within the view, my recipients are seeing the tables expanded. This also happened when I tried to share the whole base. How can I ensure recipients of a shared view or base will see the view collapsed by my groups.

Hello!This is my first post, so I hope I'm posting in the right place.I am trying to use Airtable as a production board for my company. When an order comes through Shopify, I have Zapier tell it to upload the information with Line Items, but my team doesn't always know how many items may be in one order to complete it, so I started showing "1 of x" for my guys to know when they view the interface.Is there a way for Airtable to automatically mark a job with the same "Order Number" (as it is grouped right now) to autopopulate the numbers of the line items in a column, even if it just auto-numbers with 1, or 1, 2, 3 etc. then I can reformat the way it looks?Or is there a better way to go about what I'm trying to accomplish? I feel like I'm overcomplicating it.Thank you so much!

We are using two bases to work different steps of a workflow but are having difficulty syncing all the data back to the original record source in “base #1”. “Base #1” has the planning, design request & scheduling executed and “base #2” has the designing, design proofing & final design attachment executed. We have synced a table from base #1 to base #2 but then created new fields to be worked in base #2, how do we update the original record in base #1 to the applicable new fields created in base #2? As a note, we were able to sync all the applicable fields back to base #1 in a new table but that did not fulfill our workflow need as we require the new field data to be included in the original table in base #1. Any ideas on how to build this differently or automate the data to flow full circle? Thank you in advance!

Hi there--I'm trying to setup a three-tiered list in the interface builder. Some of the tiers also leverage linked records. I have enabled click into linked record and even designed the card that should fly out when the record is double clicked, but it is not behaving as expected. Instead, it just reopens (click 1) and closes (click 2) the record when I double click on it. I'm experienced setting up interfaces with openable linked fields in general, but have not worked in the multi-tiered list format before. Does it behave differently here?Thank you 🙂

Hi there, I'm essentially trying to set up two overwrite fields in my formula. So if field 1 is blank, then use the data from field 2, but if field 2 is blank, then use data from field 3.I have the formula for one overwrite which works fine (see below), but I can't seem to work out how to add another condition to it. IF({Company Invoice Contact}, {Company Invoice Contact},Company) I want it to work like;IF Invoice Contact Overwrite is blank then use Company Invoice Contact but IF that is blank, then use Company.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi all!I'm out of ideas and I need help. I have an automation which sends an email to a specific staff member (it fetches the email of that staff member in my table) when a date field is updated in a record. When I create a record and update the date field before adding the informations of the staff member, the automation ends up with an error message (which is normal since the email field hasn't been filled yet). Any ideas of how I could do the following by using an automation ? :When a date field is updatedAnd the email field is not emptySend an emailBest! David

Hi there.In a field, I have used the formula below: DATETIME_FORMAT({Datum gesprek}, 'DD-MM-YYYY HH:MM')&", "&{Traject begeleider} Weirdly, the outcome makes the time change by a few minutes. I can't figure out why. Setting timezone, or changing other aspect doesn't help.  Could someone give a solution for this? Thank you!

I am working with a subscription table and every row is an entry every time a customer subscribed to an account (It is possible for a customer to have more than 1 account). I have a field for Start Date and End Date, and I want to know the maximum account the customer had at some point, so I am thinking that if I would know which dates overlapped, I can then record it to a different table but is there any formula in airtable  where I can do that?
