I have a formula field that calculates a value (results a number) based on a lookup field (e.g. a date). When the lookup field is empty due to a missing input, formula field results with a NaN or ERROR.In that case, I want to highlight RED color to that record so operators understand that they should fix the missing input. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to enter a color condition statement such as "WHEN formula field IS ERROR, SET COLOR red".Is there a solution for this? @dashler78 

I have a button that I would like to trigger two tasks: 1 - trigger a webhook that passed the data to zapier (done) 2 - automatically update the value of a single select field to ‘true’ While the webhook script runs when I click the button, it seems that the other script I am using (to update the single-select) wants to take in a user input every time and it does not run automatically. Is there a simple way to set the value of a single-select field automatically to true without me having to specific the field and the value every time with a script?

Hi 👋 I'm not an expert with formulas, but I think I'm overthinking this / making it more complicated than it needs to be.I have a CSAT (customer satisfaction score) form in Typeform that is being automatically sent to Airtable. What I'm trying to do is:a) calculate the CSAT score (# of 4/5 star ratings, divided by # of total responses, multiplied by 100)b) have it calculated every calendar week (so there should be a new rating every Monday)I can do this manually for now, but I want a way that each week, people can look and see what the score is, without anyone having to manually calculate it.I'm totally lost, although I think I am overthinking this. Hello,Want to strike through text in a cell if a given string is found in another cell in that row.  Is this possible?The cell whose text I want to strike through is already a concatenation of various other field values.  It's looking in a different field for the term "OMIT", and if that is found I'd like the text strike-through'd.The "OMIT" will be searched for in a single select field, but I don't think that matters since I've already successfully searched for and IF'd stuff based on single select text contents.TIA for any assistance.

HiI have some linked tables. The first link is between "People" and "Working Groups". When in the Working Group table I can look up people's names and add them to the field "Members". When in the People table, I can make a link back to Working Groups, and a field called working groups will self populate with all the Working Groups that people are members off. This is all working fine.I have a second link between "People" and "Training". When in the Training table I can look up people's names and add them to the field "Attendees". When in the People table, I can make a link back to Training, but I can't make a field that will self populate with all the training people have received. What am I doing wrong?The only difference in layout between Working Groups and Training, is that training's unique identifier is a date.Any light you could shed would be very helpful.Thanks,Davva

Hello, I am trying to write some automation that should call some function in our server through a script and pass as input the image data that is stored in some field. How can I pass the image data ?The url I get there is private and  inaccessible through the server. I tried to convert it to base64 but FileReader is not available, also to pass the binary data using FormData but it is unavailable as well .Any help will be much appreciated.Yaniv

I have these two fields Formula on Contract Yield % is this:({Contract Rent PW}*52)/{Purchase Price}I need to replace the formula in the Contract Yield, to an IF formula.More likely:When the result on Contract Yield is 0%,   If Contract yield = above 1%, use Contract yield formula, but if it's 0% I need to use Appraised Yield Can you please help me what is the correct formula to make it work?I already tried (IF({Contract Yield}=0,{Appraised Yield}but it's not showing the correct results

There's a Status single-select field and a Timestamp field (since this data is being imported from elsewhere) that shows when the data was captured in the original system.There's a second table named Opportunities. All the interactions with one individual are linked to their respective Opportunity record. I need a field in the Opportunities table that reflects the Status of the linked Interaction record with the most recent / max Timestamp.The solution to the post I linked above pulls the max date, which would work if all I needed was the most recent Timestamp date pulled into the Opportunity record. However I need to know the most recent Status based on the Timestamp.Any thoughts? I may be missing a simple solution here. @Ben_Young1 ?

Hi, I'm new to airtable and am trying to get a simple conditional VAT formula to work. I feel like I am circling the solution but I'm not quite there. Essentially I am trying to track various hires and purchases for work, some of which have VAT and some do not. I have a Gross cost but I need the NET cost (without VAT).I currently have a VAT Field that is a single select field with options None and 20%. I'm trying to write a conditional formula for the NET Cost that is based on the VAT field and essentially works as follows:IF {VAT="NONE", Gross AmountIF {VAT="20%", (GROSS Amount/120)*100I keep getting invalid formula and error messages and I'm not quite sure what I'm missing.Any help greatly appreciated! 

Hello all,I have a problem that I'm trying to fix, and I have not been able to fix it with the posts with related questions.I have a field with numbers that I want to round up to another field with numbers. I'll explain the situation:So it's about ordering products. I get an order recommendation let's say for product A this is 55. But the products are packed in boxes of a certain quantity (let's say 20), so I cannot order 55 pieces, I'd have to order either 40 pieces or 60 pieces (2 or 3 boxes of 20 pieces).Is it possible to use a formula to automatically round the number upward to meet the required amount (in the examples this should be 60)?

Hello! I am trying to automate the following process: when a file is uploaded to a specific Dropbox folder, a new record is created in Airtable with the file attached. This works fine, but there is no preview in Airtable. I have created the following automation in Make (formerly Integromat):Here are the details of each step:  Below is what is seen in Airtable. As you can see, no preview is shown.I have already done some troubleshooting myself:I have tried uploading manually. This works fine and a preview shows up.I checked the limitations in Airtable's documentation: the image is not more than 1 million pixels. The image is uploaded to Airtable as .png, and not as a .zip file. I currently use Chrome, and I have tried using Safari as well.I have added another contributor to the Workspace, and they cannot see the preview either. The error message I see is: "Previews for this filetype are not available".Does anyone know a solution to this? In a calendar view, I used to have the ability to click an eye to preview the calendar view AND share externally. Now when I go to the calendar view its not an option which is preventing me from getting a link to share externallyExample of the eye

I need help creating a formula.Basically I need this to do this:If there is an extension marked yes than the move-out date changes to how many day per the extend plus the move-out date. Ex if there is an extension original move-out date was 1/1/23 and there was 30 day extend the new date would be 1/31/23.If there is no extension then move-out date is move-out date. Ex: 1/1/23 is move out no extension then 1/1/23 stays the move-out. I would think this formula is it but it is not. IF({Is there an extension} = "yes", DATEADD({Lease End Date} + {If there is an extension how many days approved}, "days"), IF({Is there an extension} = "no", {Lease End Date}))

I am trying to send a form link to a customer who does not use airtable but when they try to access the link, it brings them to an airtable registration page. Is there a way around this? I want them to be able to fill out the form without having to sign-in or register. Thank you!

Hi Guys, Was frustrated with the lack of integration that is there currently with Airtable to Wix databases for a client. So made a solution which can be tested and checked out. I’ve used the integration features provided by Integromat, but there are certain “rules” to be followed for the integration to work. They’re all listed on the page and airtable sheet given. Let me know if the solution works for you all.

I have a field defined as Currency however when I add that field to the Message section of an email that I am creating from an Automation, the value does not appear as Currency. It does have the decimal point for the cents, and I can easily add “$” as part of the preceding text, but I would really like to see the commas that are part of the defined format on the field. Any ideas?

What would be the most practical way to incorporate multiple tables worth of calendars into one?  In an interface, to be specific.I have three tables worth of data I'd like to mix together in a single calendar.  I suppose I could have them all in one table, but I'm concerned it might make things a bit busy in that main table.I have Table 1 that is basically like a CRM for any incoming proposal requests for my business and I have a few date fields there.  3 sets of start and end dates to cover dates we'd hold for the client.Then I have Table 2 where we actually schedule specific events.  Just a start date (with a time) and an end date (with a time) for a specific event stemming from an approved project in Table 1.  1 entry in Table 1 could have 20 events in Table 2, mind you.  But every Table 2 event is linked to an entry in Table 1, so there's already a natural link there.Table 3, on the other hand, is less connected to Table 1 and 2.  This is just a

Hi, I've been struggling with this for an hour and I'm hoping someone might be able to help.I have a Timeline Interface that displays a series of tasks, and I want my users to be able to edit the task fields - changing the assignee or the status for instance. I would either like to be able to add additional fields here to the initial small modal that appears when you click a task:Or, I would like to make the fields in the sidesheet editable. Based on what it says on this documentation page that should be possible, i.e. Click into record details - This setting allows end users to expand a record to see more details. You can choose to show the details as a Sidesheet or a Full-screen. Once enabled, creators can design record detail pages showing specific fields — in any orientation to their end users. Additionally, individual fields can be set to be View-only or Editable.

Hi Everyone, I want to create multiple forms to gather contacts for different reasons - Subscribers who want our newsletter Those who want to download our resource Those who fill out our profile form All of the forms capture Name, Email and then they have different fields. I want to keep all these contacts in the same table. I was hoping to have one table with 3 different form views. The issue is, I want to track how each contact came in, and I can’t figure out how to tag the submitted responses by the form they submitted. Instead, I have these split across different tables and I manually tag each, then copy/paste new responses into a master list. Am I missing something obvious here? I keep all the tables structured the same so the copy/paste to master is easy.
