Hello everyone, Please I need your help I would like to send out an email with two answering options referenced from my table in my base and the user should just be able to pick one option in the email with just one click and automatically the value are being transmitted into the base directly without opening the form. I don't want any form to be seen after pressing the button I just want it to be submitted automatically.What i have done is to create a form and write a prefill url formular that prefills the form with the option and an extra field that will also be prefilled that works only in the base but when i reference it in the email and preview it doesn't appear at all in the email.Would it be also possible for the form to be submitted automatically once the button is pressed ?I would really appreciate any suggestion or insight Thank you.

I want my automation to update the record when it is complete and then remove or delete any/all the attachments in a particular field, how can I do this?

I have searched Airtable Help and Google and haven’t located a solution for the following issue: I have created simple formulas in Currency and Number fields. The results are always rounded up. I’ve tried different options (Integer, decimal places) but they made no difference. How do I get Airtable to show the correct result without rounding up? Thank you!

I have a co-worker who can't "star" any bases on his homepage to favorite them. He can star the one workspace he has, but not the bases. When you hover over the base, the greyed-out star isn't there. When you click the three dots, there is no option there to "star." He has creator permissions for the workspace. What am I missing?

Hi, I am trying to count the number of months from the Start Date till today.  The actual day of the 'Start Date' doesn't matter.  For example, if 'Start Date' is 9/20/23 and today is 12/11/23, I want to count the number of months that have passed: Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec = 4.  I have tried this formula: DATETIME_DIFF(TODAY(),{Start Date},'months') but, I know that doesn't work. I have been searching the community and haven't found the right solution.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hey guys, I have multiple users who work for me on the free version of Airtable and one of them signed up for the free trial.On March 11th at the end of the 12 days him and all collaborators (as he set up the base) incurred a charge of £1200 for the year which we did not want or intend, how can I go about getting a refund?I have tried multiple times to contact Airtable but there are no listed phone numbers or fast ways to get a solution, any help would be amazing.

I have added the collaburators by mistake and I got charged from Airtable about $1,200 so Can I get a refund? please help me… :disappointed_relieved:

If you pay for a Team Plan for your Workspace and another person adds you as a Collaborator to a Base they own (and they also pay for a Team Plan), are they charged for you as a Billable Collaborator too?

I am trying to format decimals in a formula to no avail: To the left is the number the 3rd column is what happens when this number is used in a formula (the end is cut off for numbers ending in 0) (e.g. 12.50 > £12.5 middle column is where I have formatted the number with this formula: so this was a solution found on another thread: IF({Refill / lowest price}, “£” & {Refill / lowest price} & IF(FIND(".", {Refill / lowest price} & “”) = LEN({Refill / lowest price} & “”) - 1, “0”)) However, if you now look at the middle column it works for the £12.50, but for any round numbers under 10 it misses the decimal place. (i.e. 5.00 > £50. Any help with tweaking this formula would be greatly appreciated! THANKS! :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:

Hey All, I built an Airtable base for a consulting client and their flow relies heavily on being able to print information from Airtable. I set them up with 6 separate Page Designer extensions for them to do so. They're having a consistent problem when trying to print a custom size paper.- it jams in the printer every single time. They've tried it on multiple printers and had their printer tech review as well. They're not having any issues printing when the page is a typical 8x11in size. The size dimensions for the custom page is 545x545 px and I've set the printing size also to 545x545px. When they try to print this page as an 8x11 it does print and there's no issue except that the content is only at the top of the page and they already have custom size printer paper they want to print on (not print and cut each page). Can anyone see why this may be happening? I've run out of all printing thoughts and they're a remote team, so I can't review the printer in person.&

Hi,I've been trying to learn and build a script with the help of ChatGPT. The script creates a report in Clockify and all works fine until I replace the value input variable from a fixed value to a feiled in the base from a previous step. The value is just a string but is actually a lookup from another table. I've tried to use a formula in another field and use that but both result in the error seen in the screen shot.I feel like I'm so close, any advise ?  

I’m really enjoying the new collaborator views on interfaces. But I wish buttons could pass the collaborator information of who pressed them, especially for automations and scripts.It solves the problem of multiple collaborators checking the same checkbox, getting the collaborator information from a last modified by field, and waiting for an automation to uncheck the same checkbox so someone else can do it. I don’t know if it’s a tall ask, but it’d really help me refine user-specific controls and automations. thanks!

I need to be able to write a formula that checks if the last modified date is after a specific date and time. Basically, I imported a large batch of data and I want to track whenever a change is made after the specific date and time of import. I'm having trouble referencing the specific date and time of import within my IF(IS_AFTER) formula. Here is what I have so far - but I know AT isn't reading the date and time I referenced. IF(IS_AFTER({Updated Post Initial Import}), '2023-07-14 120000', "Updated Post Initial Import")

Hi, community!Please, I need help to understand what happened with an automation that I messed up and was sending e-mails in an infinity looping even after it was deleted from the base.It was initially built with "At schedule time" trigger and had two steps: 1 - Find records matching one condition: Where field A contains Yes2 - Send an e-mail to the e-mail found in the previous stepAfter I tested, I realized that I actually needed to insert the Send an e-mail step inside a Repeating group. The problem is I forgot to update the data that should be used in this step, so it kept sending e-mails to everyone that matches the condition in the first step. I fixed that changing data to Current item data in all fields in the e-mail step but it didn't work and then, I deleted the automation and it still kept sending e-mails.Now, it seems to have stoped, but I'd like to understand what happened here so if something similar happens in the future. Anyone with patience to explain how something

Hi all! I have a couple of survey forms in one table - one is for user group X, the other is for a different user group Y. Questions are similar, so I want responses in the same table but want to be able to filter view the records by each user group (eg by form that was used to generate the record). I thought that generating record IDs would indicate the source of which form (and therefore which user group) created the record, but it seems to be random. Is another way I can extract and filter which form generated which record? Thanks!!

Hi all,I'm working on building a base for my team, and am having an issue with automating a copy-and-paste function.I have a formula which calculates the due date for tasks based on a set number of workdays from the start date. However, sometimes we need to edit due dates of individual tasks and don't want to edit the start date or the number of workdays—so, I need to figure out a way to copy the data in the due date formula field to another field where it can be edited. (I know I could just edit the workdays on each task, but for a variety of reasons I think that will be too complicated for my users/set up.) In order to copy-and-paste data to make it possible to edit dates, I have been using this automation:   But, for some reason, every time the automation runs it generates the date the day after the formula-created date. I have no idea why this is, and I have to assume there's a way to just directly copy this data. Here's what's being spit-out for me right now:Any tip

Hi,I believe it's been asked many times but I'd like to see if there's any update.I'm trying to count how many records I have within a day and add the sum number to automation emails.So the recipients can have the sum numbers from their emails every day. I've figured out some ways to do so:1) Summary barHowever, I can only have the sum in the summary bar, which can't be added to the automation emails. 2)Count fieldBut can only be applied to linked records. It can be done by linking the records to a new table, but that leads to 2 problems:1. requires linking the records manually2. requires creating new records in the new table manually every dayI need to make them fully automated.I wonder if there's a way to count all the records and put them into email automation, thank you. 

I've used hours to search for a solution via Airtable support pages, this community, Youtube (interesting video) and even ChatGPT, but I can't seem to find an out-of-the-box solution. Hopefully someone like you can help 🙂In an Airtable dashboard interface my use case is just a 5 seconds configuration, and I can select it in a view's summary bar. But unfortunately not in the data tables as part of a formula so it seems.The situation:I'm tracking expenses by importing transactions in a table {expenses} as separate recordsEach expense record has a {Date} fieldI'm categorizing each expense by selecting one category which is a linked field {Category} from the table {budget} with 73 category records.What I'd like to do is create a formula in the {budget} table which uses - among other data - the latest date of all records in the {expenses} table. Why? To calculate the difference of my spending per category, which is now based on today instead of the last transaction date of all

Need help with building a data base to collect building information. Basically, to create a program that uses forms to collect information regarding sites inspected such as space/room, materials that may contain environmental hazards, quantity of the material and then identify the samples collected (matching to the materials identified). Then provide reports from the data collected (on custom forms). I have started the process, but would like feedback and expertise on best practices. In addition, learning how to use airtable a bit better including, airtable database structure,  scripts and organizing data to provide table reports.I plan to do the work with support from someone who knows airtable much better than I do. Thank you.   

I am creating an inventory management system for a warehouse team. I have a table that tracks the current inventory level and a linked table that operates as "transactions". So the "transactions" table keeps track of added and removed inventory. The inventory table shows the current inventory level for a product using a roll-up. I want to click on a button in the inventory table to open a form where the user can add or remove inventory. I want the product name field to be automatically selected based on which row the button was clicked. So pressing the "change inventory" button on the Product A row will open the form and have Product A selected in the name field.  I tried to figure out how to do this with formulas and automation, but I think that it might need to be done with scripting and I do not know any javascript. I hope that all makes sense.

Hi all!Here's a question... I'm making a basic task list in my base, I added a {Due Date} column with field type 'Date' and I have the time also showing in the same column. This will help me schedule tasks by date and time.Values in {Due Date} look like this '2/14/2024 5:00 pm'. I have another column {Date} with a simple formula DATETIME_FORMAT({Due Date}, 'MM/DD/YYYY') so I can get the date alone without the time.Heres the problem... Everytime I schedule a task pass 6:00 pm in the {Due Date} field, the {Date} value changes 1 day. Example:{Due Date} 2/14/2024 5:00 pm{Date} 2/14/2024{Due Date} 2/14/2024 6:00 pm{Date} 2/15/2024Help!

I’m having trouble writing a script that creates new records (representing jobs) based on the following parameters: start of date range end of date range days(s) included That is, if Mondays are included, create a job on each monday within date range. I use a function to add jobs onto a stack, and call the function for each day of the week as required. My stack is defined outside the function as: Let newJobs = ; The new records created included a date field. That’s the problem. I can see my function looping through the dates correctly, and even pushing them onto the stack. But when everything is finish, every job on my stack has the final loop date. The same date. It was updated even after being added to the stack! Function is: function addJobs(opp,start, end, offset) { let jobDate = new Date; if (offset >= start.getDay()) { let addDays = offset-start.getDay(); jobDate.setDate(start.getDate()+addDays); } else { let addDays = 7+offset-start.

Hey there! I’m syncing some records from Base 1 to Base 2, and that’s working just fine. In Base 2 I need to be able to add additional records alongside the synced ones. I set up an automaiton to copy these new records over to another Table in Base 2, which works perfectly. I was then trying to use an Update Record automation to copy changes, which tests fine but fails in practice with an error. Is that possible, or is there a better way to accomplish this? I was using Find Records with a condition of my manual unique ID (not the Airtable Record ID), which it seems to do, and then try to apply the updates to the Record ID from that step (Step 2). It all says it’s good, and can even update it from “Run As Configured” - but it fails when I test it by updating Base 1 and syncing Base 2. Updates fine in the sync but fails to update the record in that second Table. Thanks!.

I have a table of feedback for two cafes in a base. Each bit of feedback has an assigned category. I have another base that is linked to the category so that I can view aggregated data such as average feedback score by category. This data is then visualized outside of Airtable. The problem is that in Airtable as category is the primary, it lumps the cafes together in each row, so from this table I can't distinguish one from another. I need an output where I can see organisation as a breakdown of the  category. Something like this (almost like a pivot table structure):How would I go about designing my base in order to achieve that?IMPORTANT - the data needs to be in one view ideally rather than filtered views because my visualisation tool can read at the table level, but not view level (I do my filtering there).
