Hi all 🙂I'm trying to link two tables based on one of two conditions, but am not sure if it works with simple automations or if it requires a script (I'm also new to scripting). Hello!I'm new here and new to Airtable, but I was looking for some help if it's possible 🙂I have a table with bookings and I want to run an automation at the beginning of every week that groups all the upcoming bookings that are relevant to each individual person in the bookings, to send them an email with an overview of all their upcoming appointments.It's easy enough if I do it for each booking individually, but then one person might receive 3 emails with each booking which I am trying to avoid.I have been playing around with the Find Records function in the automation, where I can create an array of all the upcoming appointments for the week but I don't know how to dynamically find and group the records based on the persons name. At the moment, I just have a list of all the bookings.Is this something that is possible in Airtable? and how can I go about it?Thanks for your time!

Hi Folks, I'm trying out using the rating field for a ongoing review process and want to be able to roll up an average of those ratings. I've managed to get the rollup to work but can't get rid of the NaN for fields that don't have ratings yet. I've tried a couple different formulas that I've seen for similar questions but nothing seems to be working. Thanks!

Here's what I want to do. I have a field that lists percentages for the fees my company wants to add to a contract. Admin fee 10%, Late fee 5%, etc. If I were to stack these fees, I want to have a field that returns the sum of each percentage multiplied by the contract subtotal field. Is there any way to do this? Like: SUM ( (10% x $800), (5% x $800) ) but where it could recognize the array and do the math for each percentage. 

I have created a formula that gives employees a personalized link to fill out a form so that when they fill out the form, they only need to answer the questions and don't have to put their name, employee id, etc. Is there a way to get around not having them sign in to use the personalized links?I have already turned off the "See who submitted this form" box and the under Share Link settings the "Restrict access to enterprise email domains" option. It doesn't make the person sign in with the regular link to the form, only the personalized one. Hoping there is a way around this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

In my scenario, I have a trailer that may have multiple batteries assigned to it. When a battery needs to be removed, the client brings up the battery detail in an Interface and clicks 'Remove'. This launches an automation where multiple things occur:A ticket is opened for the batteryNotes are added to both the trailer (in the trailer table) and the battery (in the battery table).Then, I want to run a script to remove the battery from the trailer.I found another post that was doing something similar, and after much troubleshooting (I'm new to coding), I've got it down to one error that I'm not sure how to troubleshoot. Error: Request parameters failed validation. at main (script:14)A few notes, yes, the input values from the automation are lists, but there will only ever be one value in the list, which is why I used JSON.stringify. Hi there,Just wanted to see and confirm, that after duplicating a database, if you delete any records in the duplicate, it doesn't impact the original database, i.e. that you don't delete records in the original.  I feel they are both separate entities, but wanted to make sure.Thanks,-Robert

I want to make absolutely sure that the automation will never run again on that record under any circumstances, - even if I accidentally change a field and the record records a new modified date/time.Is this possible please?

I've read the solutions for how to update a multiple select field without overwriting via automation. However, I have a bit of a wrinkle—this doesn't seem to be possible when using a Repeating Group.The background:I have a list of live performances in a table called Shows. I have a list of performers in a table called Artists. The two tables are linked via a Linked Record field so that Artists (one or more) can be added to specific shows.Some Artists perform on shows year after year. I have a multiple select field in the Artists table for "Years Active."The desired automation:When an Artist is attached to a show, I'd like the "Years Active" field in the Artist's record to update to include "2024" in addition to any existing years already in the field.The issue:Normally, I would insert the current value of "Years Active" followed by a comma and then "2024." I'm fairly new to Airtable and have a question as I'm building my database.I've found it helpful for me to assign "focus times" for tasks independently from their due date in previous systems, so I added a Single Select field named "Status" that has several options: Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Backlog, Completed, and On Hold. I have attached a screenshot of how that looks.Is there a way to create an automation that (at midnight) automatically updates anything with the Tomorrow status to have a Today status instead? I was able to create an automation to change a singular record, but I failed to find a method to update them all. I'm not sure if it's impossible, or if I just don't understand automations enough yet.Regardless, thanks so much, and have a great day!

Hello all, I have a question, and hopefully there's some type of solution to this issue. I managed 3 properties, but for now - we can just focus on 1. Property A has a total of 100+ units. When an end user fills out the form - they type in the unit number - and this is how I have my automation set up:As you can see from the above image, I have a find record and it will update that record for it's respective tenant. Example: The concern here I'm facing is, because Property A has 100+ units, is there a simpler way of creating automations to find records for each unit?Here's a view of the configuration for Property A, finding the "101" integer:Essentially, the goal is to not create 100+ automations for this property to statically assign each unit, but my fear is maybe I have to?I hope I articulated this!Thanks!

Hello,Not sure if I overlooked the obvious, but I could not do the following which seems simple :I have a table with contacts (persons) with their mail, function etc. They are linked to 1 Company in the companies tables, companies which have an address and Zip code. I need to display a list of all contacts filtered by the Zip code entered in Filters: how can I retrieve that value from their company ?I already placed all companies in a nice Googlemap addons so salespersons can visualize where clients are, but values were all in the companies table, whereas here I need to show the contacts emails to reach them if someone visits their region. Thank you !

I've just read that there will a limit of 1000 calls per month to the API... I use the API on several base to expose data on small website but I can't find where is current state of those usages... So I can't have any idea about my monthly number of calls - How can I check this ? There are statistics of items in base, automations, users... but where is the API consumption state ?Thank you.

HiI would like to create a number field "recall" that each time the record is update make something like that: recall = recall +1.I used the automation with the update record filter and I try to apply formula on the recall filed by used a formula like tahs: SUM({recall}, 1) but it is returned an error about the format of the value.Do you have idea how to increment the value?For the moment I fixed by add string +1 and the result is "+1+1+1+1+1" for each time the update is execute.Thanks

I have a column called “Date”. I’d like another column to look at my date column and if the date is in the same month as TODAY(), then it should say “This Month”. If the date is last month when compared to TODAY(), then it should say “Previous Month”. To be clear, I don’t want it to look at the previous 30 days. So, if a record has a date of 06/30/20 and today is 07/01/20 then that record would say “Previous Month”, but its month is in a previous month when compared to TODAY(). Does that make sense?

Hello, I have a cell with a date picking like "20240204 12:00" and I would like to format the date to "Feb 4th".I don't find how to reformat in this particular format.  Thank you for your help !

Hi,This is my interface page where I select investor from the dropdown. I have added a filter below and I want the filter to have the value selected from the dropdown.I understand that this kind of dynamic value setup is not possible in airtable interfaces as of today. So I am thinking of using airtable automation.Now when the user clicks the Set Carrier button, a script runs saving the name of the selected carrier in a variable. I can add a 'Find Records' step in the automation to use the same variable and filter the results. Now is there a way to publish the output of Find Records back to the interface page? I am able to see the records while testing automation. However a feature that can publish these as a list on the interface page would really be helpful. Any thoughts/suggestions? Or is this kind of setup possible only through a third party tool?
