Hi,This is my interface page where I select investor from the dropdown. I have added a filter below and I want the filter to have the value selected from the dropdown.I understand that this kind of dynamic value setup is not possible in airtable interfaces as of today. So I am thinking of using airtable automation.Now when the user clicks the Set Carrier button, a script runs saving the name of the selected carrier in a variable. I can add a 'Find Records' step in the automation to use the same variable and filter the results. Now is there a way to publish the output of Find Records back to the interface page? I am able to see the records while testing automation. However a feature that can publish these as a list on the interface page would really be helpful. Any thoughts/suggestions? Or is this kind of setup possible only through a third party tool?

All of a sudden, Airtable is freezing and only loading a small subset of the web interface.] I've tried clearing all browsing history in Chrome, and still same issue. I also tried with Edge, same issue. Anyone experienced the same issue? I'm completely stuck.d

Hi everyone, I use Zapier to run a large amount of automations in my Airtable bases. It looks like nothing is working anymore and the reason I’m thinking is because it is listing Airtable as ‘Deprecated’. The only way I can reconnect the zaps is to literally redo them from scratch with a new connection to Airtable. Does anyone have any idea what’s going on here? Also, does anyone have any guidance on how to batch the updated airtable into my existing zaps? I don’t want to have to redo every single zap as I have dozens and redoing them seems to be fastest way to get something wrong. Help would be appreciated!

Is there an airtable formula that combines linked records from a column (say column 1) and another column (say column 2) and outputs it as linked records in column 3?  If not formula is there a way to do this without scripting?

Happy Holidays everyone! I have a table that includes columns for both Start Date and End Date. Date format for both date fields is "Local". My gmail automation is setup so that when 'today' is 10 days from the End Date, the client will receive an automated email.This example, the End date is January 6, 2024 and the email automation triggered December 26th, which is 11 days from the End Date.How can I fix this so that it triggers when 'today' is 10 days from the End date? 

Hi!So I'm trying to set up a table for our home school group to house everyone's birthdays. I've scoured the forums and can't work out why I'm getting an error on all dates on or after 13/05/2019. All dates prior to this work fine and I just can't figure it out! I also wanted to see if I can incorporate a set_timezone formula to ensure it's based on my Australian timezone. Here's what I have set up:DOB field (members will enter their DOB via a form) and a formula field "Birthday (this year)" with the following formula: DATETIME_PARSE(DATETIME_FORMAT({DOB},"DD/MM")&"/"&YEAR(NOW())) Questions:1. I'm getting an ERROR for any DOBs that are from 13/05/2019 onwards. 2. Do I need to add a SET_TIMEZONE formula to set the timezone to Brisbane, Australia to ensure the 'NOW' portion of the above formula will be correct throughout the year? 3. If I wanted to add another field titled "Birthday (next year)" how would I add 1 year to the above formula? Thank

I'm in the process of building a first app and suddenly I'm having a weird problem which is driving me nuts.In the past I was able to edit the record details page layout at will. Ie. resizing elements, reordering them to be side by side and adding text elements etc. Now for all the new record details pages I add (new and old interfaces), I can't seem to do that at all. Additionally in the side menu I have a text "This is a new record details layout experience." when it doesn't work. On the old record details pages no such text exists. Also the add element button is missing entirely on these problem pages so I can't eg. add any clarifying texts anywhere on the page. Did Airtable really kill that major bit of functionality or am I just doing something stupid? I can't find anywhere any info on what the heck this "new record details layout experience" is actually supposed to mean compared to old way.

Hi there!I am trying to create a formula that will pull the Last Modified date and combine it with my initials and my Pending Items column. The formula I'm using right now works, but the Last Modified date is pulling tomorrow's date. I'm assuming this has something to do with time zones because it doesn't switch the date until 6pm CST, but I'm not sure how to fix it! I'm working on my graduation project, using Airtable as an API. In the API documentation, specifically in the "create records" section, I'm having an issue. When I try to copy the 'YOUR_SECRET_API_TOKEN' for authentication, it stays as plain text and doesn't convert into the expected key format.Has anyone else run into this problem? Hi folks,I'm looking for ideas on base design(s) for chemical formulations. I've taken one stab at this where I hardcoded some columns, but that fell apart pretty fast. I'm hoping some Airtable creatives have ideas. Here's the general problem:An ingredient inventory has some number of ingredients A, B, C, D, E, F... etc and can have an arbitrarily large number of entriesA formulation has some number of ingredients (an arbitrary subset of the ingredient inventory, so maybe B, C, F as a random example) and a defined amount of each included ingredient (xB, xC, xF). That amount could be a fraction or a mass in most casesSimple case: how do I deal with a formulation having arbitrary composition of ingredients?More complex case: How do I deal with the above, but ingredient inventory can also include formulations (so it's getting recursive)?Any ideas are most appreciated!Regards,Scott

Hi Airtable Community,I am having an issue with a formula that I was hoping to get some help on. Here is the issue:We do our invoicing on Airtable. We have a few different types / categories of invoices - they are as follows:Quotes: This is what we use when we have to submit a price 1st before any approvals to begin have been granted.Suppleental: This is like a change order - we use this when the job has changed and or scope was added.Estimate: This is used  when we have submitted a price but it has not been approved - what we call "settled"Invoice: This is what we use when we have submitted an estimate and it has been approved. We have the primary field be a concatenation field that takes the name  of the customer, the type of work it is, and then looks to the "(MIT) Settled Date" field and if it is empty, uses the word "ESTIMATE" as the last word of the primary name. The thinking here is that when there is no date in the "(MIT) Settled Date" field, it has not been appr

Some photos I upload into a table appear sideways both in the table view and expanded cell view, even though the photos themselves are upright in the upload window. I tried to rotate them 90% so they appear sideways in the upload screen, but then they rotate 180% to still appear sideways in the table facing the other way. Help?

Is it possible to get AirTable to generate X number of records in a table? Example: Table: Batch Col: Date Col: Batch Number Col: # of Units Produced Table: Units Col: Batch Number Col: Serial Number I’d like to create a record in Batch table, and if I say 10 units were produced in that batch, then automatically 10 NEW records appear in Units table (all of them linked to their batch in the Batch table) and all of them assigned automatically a sequential number (starting number would be MAX of whatever serial number is already in tab from PREVIOUS batch). I can’t even begin to wrap my head around this one. So, the two main issues would be automatically creating X records based on the event of another table AND auto generation of serial numbers starting off at the last serious number of previous batch. Is this impossible?

I am using a date field to gather reservations. I need to exclude or block the weekends from choice. Anyone know how I can do this?

Can someone help me figure out why the ‘else’ part of my IF statement isn’t working? I'm trying to create a friendly date/time/timezone field IF a certain date field is not blank. That part is working. But if the date field is blank, I want it to put “N/A” in the new field. That part is returning an error. Hi, I am trying to get selectRecordsAsync() to work. I looked up some older posts here and know that the old version was depricated I have to add an array of the field values, however it's still not working.Here is my code:async function updateCompanyDomains() {   let table = base.getTable("MyTableName");   let queryResult = await table.selectRecordsAsync({fields: table.fields})} Script runs through without an error, but it queryResult remains empty. If I put a console log after the queryResule line, it's not logged. If I hover over the fields, all the fields of the linked table are shown. For context, in case this could be the root cause: I am in the free trial. Any help is highly appreciated, thanks. 

I am looking to find a formula that takes you right to the Interface from the source table, with the record expanded on the right side inside the Interface and also specific to what ever is pre-selected on the "Drop Down" option. we currently use Google in order to sign on to our airtable. the company is migrating to Office 365 mail boxes. once we have finished migration to office 365, we cannot keep using the google sign in option…but, we can login regularly. question is, do we keep all the data of airtable in the new account? or is it all gone ? :frowning:

When inserting a Date field in an Email Action, the Date and Time format I’ve set within the table does not get used. Instead, I get the default formatting, something like: 2020-06-07T01:00:00.000Z. I’d like the date and time to be outputted in a more readable format in emails, something like 6/7/2020 at 1:00am.

Hi,I have a table which is sort of a Bill Of Materials containing the all the required parts to assemble a single product, including the required quantity of each part. It's basically looks like:|Product|Part|QuantityRequired|There is another Parts table containing the cost of each part.I'm trying to calculate the total cost for each part in a single field. So far I was able to do it through two fields, one is lookup for the cost of the part and another field with formula {qty}*{cost from lookup field}My question is can this be done directly in a single formula field, without needing the extra aux lookup field to fetch the price of a single part? Feels a bit redundant and was wondering if there's a way to fetch that lookup directly through the formula. (The final calculation of of the product's cost is done in the Products table through a sum rollup on said result)Thanks.
