Dear Airtable Community,I'm working in a multilingual environment (I'm based in Switzerland and working with partners in Africa, my daily job can involve up to 6 languages) . It is essential for my job to be able to collect data with multilingual forms, but then aggregate the results in the same answer field. For the survey part, Airtable allow very conveniently to reformulate the questions in the form view in as many languages as I want, and that is a no brainer.Where the things get complicated is when the survey includes a single or a multiple choice question. For the single choice, I've found a very practical solution:Insert all the possible answers in all the languages in a single choice field, then generate as many form as the languages and for each one filter out all the answers that are not in the correct language. Finally, aggregate all the answers in another field with a SWITCH Formula, as shown in this example here: https://airtable.com/shr9d4kkhOACVv5VK. I can then this

Integration with make.com + airtableI want to automate posting on different social media channels based on information in an Airtable database. After each successful post, I want to update a status column in Airtable to reflect which social media platform the post is live on.The issue I'm facing is that the status column keeps getting overwritten, so only the latest post's status is shown, instead of all the platforms the post is live on.I've tried using this command:{{merge(6.Live Status; add(emptyarray; "Live - FB"))}}The command works when there's pre-existing data in the Airtable cell BEFORE the router. However, it fails to recognize the updated status created after the router for each post. It seems to only read the Airtable data from before the router was introduced. Can anyone help? see attached screenshot for the scenario. Thanks

Hi! Wondering if there's any way to make this work...I have a formula field that pulls info from multiple fields & concatenates it all together to create an email (content) to be delivered to the person associated with that record.I want to include a Loom video gif in these emails. (To be clear: This is one shared video link/gif which is going out to everyone. Not unique videos for each person.)Is there any way to do this within Airtable? I'm aware that I could simply paste in the Loom URL. I'm hoping for a way to insert the video's gif file if possible. Thanks in advance!

Hi,It's been several months since I've done this, but basically, I'm trying to send an automation from a clicked button in an AT interface to a Make webhook that I've created. The automation so far was when a button is clicked > run a script. I've been able to successfully pull in a test record id via the "when a button is clicked" stage -- my field is named "rec_id" with the autogenerated formula and that works fine.FYI--when I hardcode the rec_id in there with the actual value, it works just fine with significantly less code. But with the code below--whenever I get to this step below, it just doesn't work. Can anyone help? Thanks!let recordID = input.config().rec_id;// Validate that recordID is not undefinedif (!recordID) {    throw new Error('recordID is undefined. Check the input configuration.');}THE WHOLE CODE// Define the record ID manually for testing purposes// Define the base URL for the HTTP request to the Make webhooklet url = "https://hook.us1.make.com/my

Hi!I'm new to the Airtable community, I'm still finding my way around. I hope all is well!Sooooo, Im wanting to create a smoother process for sending out invoices to my sub-contractors for a work week (Mon- Sun). I have come across a bump!Let's pretend this work week is Feb/12 - Feb/18 (Mon-Sun)So I have two tables:1. Booking Details: ignore the entry at the bottom, it's not part of the pretend work week2. Payout Details Now, The info from table 1 contains a job record: who worked it, the price, the date, etc. In this case, all those jobs were worked by "test@gmail.com" (one person). These jobs were done in different days but in the same Work week of Feb.12-Feb.18. Table 2 is supposed to put all the jobs together from this work week and combine them into 1 record: who worked them, the names of the jobs... which would go under booking details (name: from table 1, first column), and add the total of jobs completed. Now, for table 2, the reason I put start date and end date (although

Hello everyone, I’ve got this error Error: network timeout at: https://api.airtable.com/v2/bases/appOZnMxRdfPA9ddR/tables/tbledHinNmtQRT4lb/records/update But this weird thing is that the update works. But still, i have this error. tableSociete.updateRecordsAsync([{ id: societe.id, fields: { "refreshtoken": responseJson.refresh_token, "accesstoken": responseJson.access_token }, }]) The other weird thing is that i dont have the error everytime but just with some “societe.id”

Hi !     I created a column to identify if the "End Date" of a task belongs to one of the weeks below, based on the ISO numbers for each week of the year (1~52 or 53).      But I am facing an error due to the year, that I cannot overpass.      It is considering the pure number of a week in 2023 (e.g.: #49) as a week in future, because the actual week number in 2024 is less than that.     Please, can someone help me with it?PAST: "End Date" week number < actual week numberTHIS WEEK: "End Date" week number = actual week numberNEXT WEEK: "End Date" week number = actual week number +1FUTURE: End "Date" week number = actual week number +2Here is the actual formula I have that is running, depite the error from year:"IF({End Date},IF(AND(YEAR({End Date}) = YEAR(TODAY()),DATETIME_DIFF({End Date}, TODAY(), 'days') < 0),"PAST",IF(AND(YEAR({End Date}) = YEAR(TODAY()),VALUE(DATETIME_FORMAT({End Date}, 'W')) = VALUE(DA

I'm new to formulas but have learned quite a bit from these forums. I have arrays of Hardiness Zones for plants, which are written like this: 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b and so on. I need to put them into ranges like this "Zone 4-8". So far I have it this way:I used this formula to get it:IF(NOT(Zones=''), 'Zone' & ' ' & LEFT(ARRAYJOIN({Number value (from Zone test)}), 2) & '-' & RIGHT(ARRAYJOIN({Number value (from Zone test)}), 2), "")There is another column named Zones, and in the linked table, I had to put a space after 9 so that it would still register as having 2 characters in the field instead of just one. There are two problems with my outcome.Problem 1: Some of them only have a single number in the Number Value field. So that return looks like "Zone 10-10" and I want it just to say "Zone 10". I'm trying to use a nested IF(LEN) function in there but it's not coming

OverviewAllow users to assign different detail pages based on conditions. When a user expands a record from an interface, allow users to change which details page opens based on conditions of the expanded record.Setting the conditions could work using a UI similar to the one conditional coloring uses.Problem:There are many instances where I have records that share 90% of the same info, but based on some differences - such as Type or Status, need to be interacted with differently. For example, for my business we track furnishings and fixtures we refer to as "Items" for architectural projects. We need to ensure that certain pieces of information are recorded for each Item, but what pieces of information we need varies based on the Type of Item. There are so many different kinds of information that we need to record that we have as many as 120 different fields in our Items Table. ideally, we could show only those fields that apply based on a condition, in this case, the "Type" Field.I.E. How can I customize the Airtable interface to dynamically adjust bar colors based on the values stored within specific cells?Specifically, I'm interested in understanding the process of implementing such a feature within Airtable's interface to visually represent data more effectively. Are there any specific settings, configurations, or formulas that need to be applied to achieve this level of customization within Airtable's platform?Additionally, what are some best practices or considerations to keep in mind when setting up this feature to ensure clarity and coherence in data visualization?

I am NOT a coder... but this process is slowly making me one (sometimes to my regret).I am trying to put together a script triggered by a change in a field titled "Invoicing?" on a table named "ALL INVOICES 2024" that will update a different table titled "Client Overview" by adding "Offboard/Last Inv" to a field named "Active/Inactive." These two tables are NOT linked to each other and I don't want them to be, but they do have one field that is identical between the two of them: "Client ID."After banging my head against a wall for about two days, I decided to just backtrack to the most basic tutorial to see how I might put this together. My first task to "learn" is how to make Airtable identify the record that triggered the script to run. I stripped down to the easiest of tasks: Output the Record ID of the table that caused the trigger. I used a bit of code from this article: https://www.airscript.dev/2021/01/31/airtable-automations-scripts let inputConfig = input.c

Hello, let me first give a little backstory on the process I have leading up to where I need help...I have two tables (Table1 and Table2). There is a button on Table1 that triggers a script. The script copies a few fields from Table1 over to Table2, one of which is an alphanumeric code. While copying this alphanumeric code over to Table2, it also performs a check to see how many times this code already exists in Table2, and populates that number into a field. Table2 contains a complex formula that uses the existing alphanumeric code and the number of times that code has been seen before, to generate a new unique alphanumeric code. All of this works flawlessly, I'm just struggling to figure out how to execute the last step... copying this new unique alphanumeric code back to a field on Table1.First attempt at a solve, I setup a new automation that watches for new records entering a view on Table2. From there I know I'll be able to reference my new unique alphanumeric code, but I can't f

I’m trying to create an automation to take data from one cell in a record and paste it into another, linked, cell in that record. I set it up to trigger if “PART NAME” is not empty and “PARTS” is empty. Then it is supposed to take the value from “PART NAME” and update “PARTS”. When I run a test it does find a record to update but when I turn the automation on nothing happens. Any idea where I’m going wrong?

Hi,I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes. I have a table containing the following 'data'Project, Person, Start, FinishI want to plot on a Vega-Lite Heatmap style Histogram the 'heat' of these people over time. So the more 'Projects' then the higher the 'heat'. I could see that Joe is cold in Jan, but hot in July. This is the style of heat map: https://vega.github.io/vega-lite/examples/rect_binned_heatmap.htmlI guess I need to transform the 'hits' per say, month. But I have no idea how to do that! Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, I have a base in which I have defined tasks with a start date and a deadline. Both dates are calculated from the start date of an event and a number X days before the event starts. In three cases the tasks have to start after the start date of the event which is why I used a negative number. The date is calculated without any problems, but these data records are not displayed in the timeline. Can anyone help me with this?Formula for calculating the deadline:Columns:Timeline:

I'm having trouble with using the DATEADD function (and yes totally new at this). I'm trying to add 3 months to a date in another column. I've technically gotten the formula to work but it's not quite getting the desired date. So for example if my date is 4/1/2024 and the formula is adding 3 months it's calculating 6/30/2024. I need it to actually calculate 7/1/2024. I've tried to add a day to the formula but keep getting an error. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys. I made a connection with Make, so I can transfer every incoming email from certain accounts to a new data row in Airtable. The problems are the attachments. I am showing you in the pictures below how I would like them to appear and how they actually appears. We need every attachment to be shown in a preview as a separate file.. The Make-support thinks it is Airtable-problem, so I am grateful for any suggestion.Regards, Imelda

Since the rude depreciation of APIs from Jotform, I have rebuilt my integration using their new system. However, it fails every time a form is submitted reporting:Unknown Field Name "fldqb0p2A79uDENvw". I have no field of that name in either Jotform or Airtable, mine are all user friendly names. So what's going on? I have raised the issue with Jotform support who say they need more detailed logs. Any ideas?

Hello,I need help setting up an automation that links records in a "dependencies" field to a predecessor/successor record (determined by order number). The goal is to automate tasks to hit contributors dashboard when its their turn to work on the project. We have a Projects, Tasks, Content Type and Templated Steps boards that ive set an extension to generate a specific task list based on the type of content. I can edit the extension code to include the dependencies field and set those are part of the template, but the problem is that many project managers use this as a starting point and edit the task list manually, adding or subtracting tasks for their specific need. If a project manager edits the task list, they have to manually manipulate the dependencies field using the gantt view, which is cumbersome and manual. id like to set a way for the field to automatically update based on the task order. So the trigger I have in place is "when record is updated"- on the task board, so

Hello!I'm trying to create a formula that will create First Name (Goes By Name) Last Name (Business Name).  I've gotten my formula so that I can get all those pieces together, however if either Goes By or Business Name exists and the other doesn't, I'm getting () included still. For exampleKatelyn () Grant (Airtable) or Katelyn (Kate) Grant () How do I get it to not include the () if the field is empty?Here's the formula: IF(OR({Goes By Name}, {Business Name}),{First Name} & " " & "(" & {Goes By Name} & ")" & " " & {Last Name} & " " & "(" & {Business Name} & ")",{First Name} & " " & {Last Name})

Hi everyone, first of all I'm really sorry for the noob question, I'm an English teacher who is not good at math and I cannot figure this out after days of trying.I have an excel document where tasks are given scores based on prioritization questions. Most of the questions follow a simple "If answer = YES add a numerical value of 3 to the overall score" format. But I have a few segments that use COUNTIF logic. In one of the sections where there are 5 prioritization questions the COUNTIF logic looks like this(COUNTIF(I7:M7,"Yes")>3,12,IF(COUNTIF(I7:M7,"Yes")>2,9,IF(COUNTIF(I7:M7,"Yes")>1,6,3))So the yellow section of questions follows:If 1 question in the yellow segment is answered "yes"  - add 3 points to the overall scoreIf 2 questions in the yellow segmentare answered "yes" - add 6 points to the overall scoreIf 3 questions in the yellow segment are answered "yes" - add 9 points to the overall scoreIf 4 or 5 questions in the yellow segment are answered "yes" -&nbs
