Hi all, I'm trying to set up an automation using a trigger using a linked record field. What I want is to trigger an email whenever a record has two or more linked records in a field (but not one). Is this possible to set up?For example, let's say the records are individual baseball players, and the field "Teams played for" links to a "teams" table. In Babe Ruth's record, the field would link to "Red Sox", "Yankees", and "Braves". In Mickey Mantle's record, the field would only link to "Yankees". In Jackie Robinson's record, the field would only link to "Dodgers". How can I set the trigger to email for Babe Ruth's record and not Mickey Mantle or Jackie Robinson?

When importing a CSV with a multi-select column, Airtable will always detect commas as a separator and make tags from it. But in my case the tags contain commas I don’t want to have as a separator. Do you know any workaround to either avoid thos specific commas to be detected as a separator, or change the separator character ? Thanks !

I am wondering if anyone has encountered this scenario below.We have a team of graphic designers that will submit a form to the retouching team in Airtable.Sometimes, the initial request needs to be changed and we are looking for a way for the designers to be able to re-open the request.Most designers are not in Airtable and no designers are allowed within the Retouchers base.Does anyone have any thoughts on a way of re-opening a request without having users in Airtable? 

This list sorts correctly:why is 'b' coming after 'c' in this list (same table and list view)The remaining items in the list sort correctly.Any clues?

("Property1", Property2",...).In the table is another date/time field.I want that when the status in "Property1" is changed, record the time of this change in the date field.How do I do this?Thanks!

When I make an API call using a Personal Access Token I have set up, it returns Error 401 Authentication Required - but if I change out the PAT to use the API Key, it works just fine.Am I not able to use PAT's whilst I have a API Key enabled?

Hi! Hoping someone has done this before. I have a list of customers and their email addresses organized into groups. So I have 3 columns: customer name, email, and group #. I’m looking to make a new table for email automation. I’d like to pull all emails associated with a single group number into a CSV field called “recipients.” Is this possible? I’d appreciate some guidance if so. Alternate workflows welcome. Thanks!

I have the following formula in a field names "Status":IF({Current Performance}=5,"5: Excellent",IF({Current Performance}>=4,"4: Good",IF({Current Performance}>=3,"3: Fair",IF({Current Performance}>=2,"2: Poor",IF({Current Performance}<2,"1: Very Poor")))))The Current Performance field is a lookup field set to show the last (most recent) item from the related table.If the Current Performance field is blank (no record in the lookup table) the formula will return "Very Poor" even though there is no number in the Current Performance field. I've tried various iterations of the formula, but can't seem to make it behave properly. Essentially, if the Current Performance lookup field is empty there should be no corresponding record in the Status formula field. Any ideas/suggestions?

Hi everyone,We have many automations that send an email to a member of staff when the automation is triggered.  That member of staff has left and I now want all of those automations to go to another  member of staff.  Is there a way that I can search through all the automations to find every instance of that email address being used so I can then manually (or automatically) update the email address with the new name?I've searched around and I haven't been able to find a way to do this without going into every automation individually... Thanks 😄

I have 3 tables - meals, dishes and ingredients.use case: Users should be able to add new dishes and meals through a form. A meal is a combination of 1 or more dishes. Each dish comprises of many ingredients (note ingredients is a separate table)So in a form submission, the user should be able to do two things:1. Add a new dish including its ingredients (note ingredients is a separate table so should be stored appropriately)2. Hey there, I'm trying to gain access to the Download Attachment URL (without using the API) so I can upload images from the Attachment of a record to a social media platform. I've tried using a workflow of AirTable --> Zapier --> Social Media Platform, but I can't find a way to get the image in my AirTable's attachment field to the social media platform. Let me know if you know how to help! PS -- The reason I don't want to use the API is that I saw AirTable's recent notice that they are disabling API access at the end of this year.

This is my first post to the Airtable community.  I have searched through lots of posts about linking records and tables, but I can't seem to find an answer to this...I have two imported tables that have a StudentID field in each.  When I edit the StudentID field in one Table to change the field type to "link to another record", Airtable deletes all the StudentIDs in the table I am working in.  I am attempting to create a linkage between these tables because I want to know if a student in Table 1 is also in Table 2 (and the student may be in Table 2 multiple times, however I just want to know if the student is in the table...I don't care how many times).   Can someone help me figure out what I am missing?  Many thanks, in advance, for your assistance with this issue!My apologies if this problem has already been solved elsewhere, I just couldn't find it.

Hello All,I have a general question for the community.How are you all managing code updates and version control for your custom scripts?It seems very easy to overwrite custom automation scripts.Does Airtable have a way to view/restore a previous version?I am currently storing some of my automations scripts in GitHub Gists but I don't have a great workflow for keeping everything up to date.What processes have worked for you?Thanks!Matt

Is anyone else frustrated with Airtable's lack of full base download and limited storage space for a respective paid tier?Major issues that need to be corrected:I upgraded from Free to Plus but got no warning that this tier would still leave me with storage over limit.No way to directly reach sales to switch from Plus to Pro tier for first year promo offer that I saw before upgrading.No way to do a full base download.No way to download actual attachments as part of a CSV export.No way to get a quick overview of attachments by file size to find the top resource hogs and delete them.I get that any service wants to lock you into their service and features but this feels overly manipulative.  Anyone have any luck with getting any sort of timely response from their sales and/or support?

Hey guys, Is 2GB files the most I can upload, or that’s just the maximum amount of files that can be stored in one base? If I delete that record/file, will I free my space, or that’s just the maximum I can upload, no matter if I delete files or not. Thanks

I guess this related to an integration, but it's not an integration-specific question. We have records that typically accompany a unique number. Sometimes, we will have a record that doesn't have a number. To identify them as records where we've thoughtfully considered them to be records associated with no number, we want to use 0000 as the default, where a single 0 might mean we just forgot to enter the appropriate number. I'm using a Number field currently -- and I think the field needs to be a number field for the integration. Is there a way to get a Number field to display 0000 instead of 0? 

Hi everyone, I’m a big fan of Airtable, but its lack of a spelling/grammar checker is causing me some grief. Grammarly (Chrome extension) would seem to be the perfect answer. However, it doesn’t work. At all. This is weird because it works well on other sites with text input fields - including, incidentally this community site (I can see Grammarly flagging errors in this as I type :slightly_smiling_face: ). Does anyone know a way of getting Grammarly to work on Airtable Grid view fields or indeed another solution? Thanks!
