I’m trying to create an automation to take data from one cell in a record and paste it into another, linked, cell in that record. I set it up to trigger if “PART NAME” is not empty and “PARTS” is empty. Then it is supposed to take the value from “PART NAME” and update “PARTS”. When I run a test it does find a record to update but when I turn the automation on nothing happens. Any idea where I’m going wrong?

I have a table containing the following 'data'Project, Person, Start, FinishI want to plot on a Vega-Lite Heatmap style Histogram the 'heat' of these people over time. So the more 'Projects' then the higher the 'heat'. Hello everyone, I have a base in which I have defined tasks with a start date and a deadline. Both dates are calculated from the start date of an event and a number X days before the event starts.In three cases the tasks have to start after the start date of the event which is why I used a negative number. The date is calculated without any problems, but these data records are not displayed in the timeline.Can anyone help me with this?Formula for calculating the deadline:Columns:Timeline: 

I'm having trouble with using the DATEADD function (and yes totally new at this). I'm trying to add 3 months to a date in another column. I've technically gotten the formula to work but it's not quite getting the desired date. So for example if my date is 4/1/2024 and the formula is adding 3 months it's calculating 6/30/2024. I need it to actually calculate 7/1/2024. I've tried to add a day to the formula but keep getting an error. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys. I made a connection with Make, so I can transfer every incoming email from certain accounts to a new data row in Airtable.The problems are the attachments. I am showing you in the pictures below how I would like them to appear and how they actually appears. We need every attachment to be shown in a preview as a separate file.. The Make-support thinks it is Airtable-problem, so I am grateful for any suggestion.Regards, Imelda

Since the rude depreciation of APIs from Jotform, I have rebuilt my integration using their new system. However, it fails every time a form is submitted reporting:Unknown Field Name "fldqb0p2A79uDENvw". I have no field of that name in either Jotform or Airtable, mine are all user friendly names. So what's going on? I have raised the issue with Jotform support who say they need more detailed logs. Any ideas?

Hello,I need help setting up an automation that links records in a "dependencies" field to a predecessor/successor record (determined by order number). The goal is to automate tasks to hit contributors dashboard when its their turn to work on the project. We have a Projects, Tasks, Content Type and Templated Steps boards that ive set an extension to generate a specific task list based on the type of content. I can edit the extension code to include the dependencies field and set those are part of the template, but the problem is that many project managers use this as a starting point and edit the task list manually, adding or subtracting tasks for their specific need. If a project manager edits the task list, they have to manually manipulate the dependencies field using the gantt view, which is cumbersome and manual. id like to set a way for the field to automatically update based on the task order. So the trigger I have in place is "when record is updated"- on the task board, so

I want to automate an email that goes to staff two weeks before their leave year renews on the anniversary of their start date each year.Is it possible to create a formula which will automatically show the next anniversary in a date format? For example: If my start date is 28/02/2019 and today is 07/02/2024 then the next anniversary date should read 28/02/2024Or if my start date is 28/02/2019 and today is 01/03/2024 then the next anniversary date would read 28/02/2025I'm UK based so using DD-MM-YYYY formatting. I'm struggling to generate anything that works - any help appreciated.

Hi everyone. I have a table "receipts" that collects receipts linked to different projects. Every receipt can only be linked to one project. The Receipts table has a Number Field "Amount in Euro". Now I the Project table, I want to have a Rollup field with the sum of all Amount field. But only those who are linked with the Project im currently in. What I want to do is add the condition "Where Project is exactly current project". So for Project 1 it filters by that, for Project 2 by that one. But I can only choose one particular project. Am I missing something or is there another way to do this? Basically what im trying to do is see the Sum of all incoming and outgoing receipts for every project right within the Project. Any helps would be greatly appreciated 🙂

I'm using a Google Drive Sync integration with the intention of avoiding going over the storage limit in my base. On the FAQ's for this integration I found this information:Will the attachments in a synced table count toward the destination base’s attachment limits?Yes. Similar to record limits, attachments in a synced table will count against the attachment limit in that synced table's base.If I were to simply not sync the attachments field, will that avoid taking up storage space in my base? With this solution, I could simply rely on the urls provided by the Google Drive Sync integration to interact with my files.Thanks in advance,

Good morning all! I'm hoping someone can help me with turning a pretty straightforward concat formula into something with more if/then logic to help when empty fields are encountered.Right now I have a primary field on my sheet that uses a formula to build a unique ID for logged payments. That formula is below:  CONCATENATE({Vendor Name}, " - ", IF( {Remit to AP}, DATETIME_FORMAT({Remit to AP}, 'MM-DD-YYYY')) )  The trouble is that with a lot of records there may not be a "Remit to AP" date for a number of reasons. I'm hoping there's a way I can use alternative fields as backups so the primary field doesn't just show something along the lines of "Vendor - " which isn't helpful.There's another field called "Invoice Date" that is much more frequently populated, and a "Year" field (which is a single select, not open text) as the last resort. Would it be possible to have a formula that builds the concat as above and says if the "Remit to AP" field isn't blank to use

Hi @dashler78 experts,I have an interface which has a dropdown and a button. When a user chooses a value from the dropdown and clicks on the button, an automation script runs doing the following1. It saves the value chosen in the dropdown.2. Updates 'Created By' as 'Automations'.I want the script to even update another field say 'User' with the user object (of the person who actually clicked the button).Is there a way to input the actual user object using automation script?I saw that I am able to get 'email id' , 'id' - which is usrXXXXXXXXXX and name. However what I actually want in the field is the complete user object which is similar to how 'Created By' and 'Modified By' fields look. Hello, I have a 'Client' table linking to another table that holds information about Event Labor. From the Event Labor table, I am trying to send an automated email to the client (email address linked from its own table.) When creating the action, the 'Email (from Client table)' is an option, and then I have the choice Linked Record ID or Value. I assumed to use Value but neither choice is working. Hello there! I've built a Base to track "Vacation Requests" and 'balance vacation days' in two simple tables:1) Staff: where fields are name, email, role, hired date, accrued days (formula based on hired date), used days (roll up from the sum of all approved vacation requests), balance days (accrued-used).2) Vacation Request: where fields are req. id (formula), name (linked from staff table), email (linked from staff table), start-date, end-date, requested days (formula), status, duration (formula, only populate if status approved, this field is used on a roll up in the 'staff' table). Up to there, everything's perfect.
