Hi. Still learning here! This support is invaluable, thank you. 🙏I have an automation that sends an email with when 3 specified fields are 'not empty'. The email contains an invoice as an attachment. I want to make absolutely sure that the automation will never run again on that record under any circumstances, - even if I accidentally change a field and the record records a new modified date/time.Is this possible please?

I've read the solutions for how to update a multiple select field without overwriting via automation. However, I have a bit of a wrinkle—this doesn't seem to be possible when using a Repeating Group.The background:I have a list of live performances in a table called Shows. I have a list of performers in a table called Artists. The two tables are linked via a Linked Record field so that Artists (one or more) can be added to specific shows.Some Artists perform on shows year after year. I have a multiple select field in the Artists table for "Years Active."The desired automation:When an Artist is attached to a show, I'd like the "Years Active" field in the Artist's record to update to include "2024" in addition to any existing years already in the field.The issue:Normally, I would insert the current value of "Years Active" followed by a comma and then "2024." Hello everyone! I'm fairly new to Airtable and have a question as I'm building my database.I've found it helpful for me to assign "focus times" for tasks independently from their due date in previous systems, so I added a Single Select field named "Status" that has several options: Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Backlog, Completed, and On Hold. I have attached a screenshot of how that looks.Is there a way to create an automation that (at midnight) automatically updates anything with the Tomorrow status to have a Today status instead? I was able to create an automation to change a singular record, but I failed to find a method to update them all. I'm not sure if it's impossible, or if I just don't understand automations enough yet.Regardless, thanks so much, and have a great day!

Hello all, I have a question, and hopefully there's some type of solution to this issue. I managed 3 properties, but for now - we can just focus on 1. Property A has a total of 100+ units. When an end user fills out the form - they type in the unit number - and this is how I have my automation set up:As you can see from the above image, I have a find record and it will update that record for it's respective tenant. Example: The concern here I'm facing is, because Property A has 100+ units, is there a simpler way of creating automations to find records for each unit?Here's a view of the configuration for Property A, finding the "101" integer:Essentially, the goal is to not create 100+ automations for this property to statically assign each unit, but my fear is maybe I have to?I hope I articulated this!Thanks! 

I am working to automate a process that feels like I should be able to script but have been struggling. Hello,Not sure if I overlooked the obvious, but I could not do the following which seems simple :I have a table with contacts (persons) with their mail, function etc. They are linked to 1 Company in the companies tables, companies which have an address and Zip code. I need to display a list of all contacts filtered by the Zip code entered in Filters: how can I retrieve that value from their company ?I already placed all companies in a nice Googlemap addons so salespersons can visualize where clients are, but values were all in the companies table, whereas here I need to show the contacts emails to reach them if someone visits their region. Thank you !

I've just read that there will a limit of 1000 calls per month to the API... I use the API on several base to expose data on small website but I can't find where is current state of those usages... So I can't have any idea about my monthly number of calls - How can I check this ? There are statistics of items in base, automations, users... but where is the API consumption state ?Thank you.

HiI would like to create a number field "recall" that each time the record is update make something like that: recall = recall +1.I used the automation with the update record filter and I try to apply formula on the recall filed by used a formula like tahs: SUM({recall}, 1) but it is returned an error about the format of the value.Do you have idea how to increment the value?For the moment I fixed by add string +1 and the result is "+1+1+1+1+1" for each time the update is execute.Thanks

I have a column called “Date”. I’d like another column to look at my date column and if the date is in the same month as TODAY(), then it should say “This Month”. If the date is last month when compared to TODAY(), then it should say “Previous Month”. To be clear, I don’t want it to look at the previous 30 days. So, if a record has a date of 06/30/20 and today is 07/01/20 then that record would say “Previous Month”, but its month is in a previous month when compared to TODAY(). Does that make sense?

Hello, I have a cell with a date picking like "20240204 12:00" and I would like to format the date to "Feb 4th".I don't find how to reformat in this particular format.  Thank you for your help !

Hi,This is my interface page where I select investor from the dropdown. I have added a filter below and I want the filter to have the value selected from the dropdown.I understand that this kind of dynamic value setup is not possible in airtable interfaces as of today. So I am thinking of using airtable automation.Now when the user clicks the Set Carrier button, a script runs saving the name of the selected carrier in a variable. I can add a 'Find Records' step in the automation to use the same variable and filter the results. Now is there a way to publish the output of Find Records back to the interface page? I am able to see the records while testing automation. However a feature that can publish these as a list on the interface page would really be helpful. Any thoughts/suggestions? Or is this kind of setup possible only through a third party tool?

Hi everyone, I use Zapier to run a large amount of automations in my Airtable bases. It looks like nothing is working anymore and the reason I’m thinking is because it is listing Airtable as ‘Deprecated’. The only way I can reconnect the zaps is to literally redo them from scratch with a new connection to Airtable. Does anyone have any idea what’s going on here? Also, does anyone have any guidance on how to batch the updated airtable into my existing zaps? I don’t want to have to redo every single zap as I have dozens and redoing them seems to be fastest way to get something wrong. Help would be appreciated!

Is there an airtable formula that combines linked records from a column (say column 1) and another column (say column 2) and outputs it as linked records in column 3?  If not formula is there a way to do this without scripting?

Happy Holidays everyone! I have a table that includes columns for both Start Date and End Date. Date format for both date fields is "Local". My gmail automation is setup so that when 'today' is 10 days from the End Date, the client will receive an automated email.This example, the End date is January 6, 2024 and the email automation triggered December 26th, which is 11 days from the End Date.How can I fix this so that it triggers when 'today' is 10 days from the End date? 

Hi!So I'm trying to set up a table for our home school group to house everyone's birthdays. I've scoured the forums and can't work out why I'm getting an error on all dates on or after 13/05/2019. All dates prior to this work fine and I just can't figure it out! I also wanted to see if I can incorporate a set_timezone formula to ensure it's based on my Australian timezone. Here's what I have set up:DOB field (members will enter their DOB via a form) and a formula field "Birthday (this year)" with the following formula: DATETIME_PARSE(DATETIME_FORMAT({DOB},"DD/MM")&"/"&YEAR(NOW())) Questions:1. I'm getting an ERROR for any DOBs that are from 13/05/2019 onwards. 2. Do I need to add a SET_TIMEZONE formula to set the timezone to Brisbane, Australia to ensure the 'NOW' portion of the above formula will be correct throughout the year? 3. If I wanted to add another field titled "Birthday (next year)" how would I add 1 year to the above formula? Thank

I'm in the process of building a first app and suddenly I'm having a weird problem which is driving me nuts.In the past I was able to edit the record details page layout at will. Ie. resizing elements, reordering them to be side by side and adding text elements etc. Now for all the new record details pages I add (new and old interfaces), I can't seem to do that at all. Additionally in the side menu I have a text "This is a new record details layout experience." when it doesn't work. On the old record details pages no such text exists. Also the add element button is missing entirely on these problem pages so I can't eg. add any clarifying texts anywhere on the page. Did Airtable really kill that major bit of functionality or am I just doing something stupid? I can't find anywhere any info on what the heck this "new record details layout experience" is actually supposed to mean compared to old way.
