Hi all 🙂 I made a zap between Outlook and Airtable, forwarding emails. Works perfectly, until comes attachment in the email. One attachment is OK, but when it is more then one, it can not be transfered. Anyone with similar experience, maybe a solution?Thanks ahead, have a nice day.Imelda

Hello,After the customer submits a request form to the client for order fulfilment, if the client has a follow-up question for the customer - Is there a feasibility/workaround to submit a comment/question on the request so that it can be re-directed to the customer for further clarifications/information? Can somebody suggest a workaround? I'm looking to run a script when a record is created which would created a new form for that individual record. I need to do this because when clients will be using the forms, I can't have them be able to add data to other clients so by default I'm creating a form with the default values that can't be changed. Does anyone have a better solution to this problem or is there a way to do this?

In AirTable, I have 3 Bases; ● One base that includes a table with all student records ● One base that includes testimonials ● One base that includes a record of all questions submitted when we do a Q&A How can we merge all these bases into one base and ensure that everything is linked?

I have a base that is designed to be refreshed with data from a CSV file periodically. It has about 140 fields right now and I need to add approximately 50 more. I would like to be able to do this using the CSV Import app, but I can’t find a way to have it load data into existing fields AND add new columns to the base at the same time. I have field descriptions entered for most of the existing fields, which is a big reason why I don’t want to just start over with a new import to create the new fields. If I could get and set field descriptions via API, that would be another route to my goal, but I haven’t found any evidence that’s possible. Am I stuck adding the new fields one by one or is there another way? Thank you for any light you can shed.

Hi, I want to know if:1) Are there are any extensions that would help me with the ability to see the 'saved' information on the lengthy forms started by my customers but not submitted yet?2) Can one customer start multiple forms and save and come back to complete the form at a later time? Example: Adding multiple employees information one at a time by filling up a form for each employee.Thanks! 

I'm trying to use this feature of passing the name of the user logged in to the record when a new record is created and it is just not working and for the life of me can not figure out why, clearly I'm missing something.

I have a field where people can select multiple options. The question is “what are some emotions you experienced” and they can select from 9 options. I want to know how many people choose Joy and Anticipation, whether they’re the only options selected or if they’re part of a bunch of responses. I’ve found several ways to set up a formula field that tells me if someone ONLY chose Joy or Anticipation, but it doesn’t pick up if someone chooses Anticipation and Sadness or Joy and Anticipation together. There are too many possible combinations to realistically set up a nested IF formula. Is there a way to write a formula that will tell me if someone chooses either option, regardless of whether they chose other options too? I have tried OR, FIND, SEARCH, and REGEX, though it’s likely I’m just setting it up incorrectly! If it helps, the data is coming in through an external site via Zapier, so if needed I can change the field type from multi-select to text.

Hi, this notification is showing on my form embedded on my website - "Starting January 31, 2024, Facebook and Web Search will no longer be available as options to upload attachments." (see attached image)Does it mean that users will not be able to upload files when filling out the form? Is there any way I can modify it so users can continue to upload files when needed? Hi, I’m really enjoying Airtable. First some context, I’m an individual user using Airtable to keep track of various aspects of my life and I am only on the free plan. Onto my question. I have a base that I use to record recipes and use as a meal planner. I would like to be able to generate a shopping list from the recipes marked as going to be used in the next week. In my main table Recipe, are obviously the recipes. I’m using 2 linked fields to two different tables: one for ingredients and one for when the recipe will be used (as that’s the way I found to show multiple dates for one recipe). In the usage table I have a view that shows me the recipes for the next week. I cannot however wrap my head on how I should go to create a view (in any of the tables) that says “show Ingredients matching Recipes where Used date is within the next 7 days”.

I've been reading through several posts about similar topics, but I'm just missing something here. I imagine some of this is due to some problematic base design, as I've been building it as we go but here's where I'm at - I have a table of club members. We are in the yearly renewal time, so, since I didn't have a way to allow submissions from our membership form to update existing records, I have redirected submissions to a new table. As it is possible folks have different emails, phones, etc, and they aren't aware of the formulated member ID I've assigned them in our main table, this seemed the easiest way to collect new and updated form submissions. So, my plan was to do a comparison between are All Members table and the 2024 Membership table - 1. In All Members table, If email exists in 2024 Membership table, update a field to indicate member has renewed2. In All Members table, if a record in 2024 Membership has the same email, compare other fields for any updates3. I

Hey there,I've been trying to achieve the following for a few hours now, but without any luck.STEP 1: I track the time I spend on a certain activity (# session in minutes column in screenshot)STEP2:  I also sum up the time I spent across all sessions (# sum minutes column in screenshot)Question: Right now I have to do step 2 manually. As you can see in the screenshot, I manually add the last session's number of minutes to the existing sum of minutes. I oftentimes forget, and / or make errors.How can I do STEP2 automatically? I just want a column in which the last sessions' number of minutes gets automatically added to the existing total sum of minutes. Do you have ANY idea on how to do this? Seems kind of simple and I'd know how to to this in excel but I can't seem to get this to work in Airtable.Thanks! 

Hello,I have a formula in Airtable which should output "SMS" if certain conditions are met.This formula has worked for a long time and has not been changed. Now I have noticed that something has been changed in the formula function and Airtable indicates that the formula is incorrect. I can save, but I can't find the error that Airtable is referring to. Our approach involves utilizing Airtable as a combined solution for both project and inventory management.Here's a quick rundown: We've established a "project-specific" base to monitor products that need to be ordered, received, and delivered for each project each product has up to 750 items to keep track of. Simultaneously, we maintain an inventory base to keep track of surplus inventory and items that have been received for a project. For instance, if we need 3 units of product A for a project but have 2 in surplus, we only order 1 for that project.Now, I'm facing a challenge. We want to mark products as received in the project base and have our inventory base automatically update when we receive products. I am using a form with some prefilled fields. It works great as long as the item name doesn't include certain special characters. For instance, if it includes an "&" anything after the "&" won't be prefilled. So "Mop & Broom Holder" prefills as just "Mop". Some of the product names we have are a bit long, so it can be a pain to have to type everything out. Is there a formula to have a checkbox automatically checked if the current date is later than a specific date field in that record?  We want to be able to sort by "eligible" records and have it automatically updated as each goes past its "eligible date."  Thanks!

Hi all!Please tell me, is it possible to change the rights in the interface on a specific entry after the automation has been triggered?I want to do the following:1) I have a Kanban board - an interface in which, when opening one of the records, you can change the status, date, etc.Is it possible to prohibit changing the status or date of this record when a certain status is reached (for example, done) without restricting others?2) I would like certain fields in posts to be edited only by the record author (the record author creates the post via a form)?Thank you in advance and wish you a good productive week!

Hi all, I'm trying to set up an automation using a trigger using a linked record field. What I want is to trigger an email whenever a record has two or more linked records in a field (but not one). Is this possible to set up?For example, let's say the records are individual baseball players, and the field "Teams played for" links to a "teams" table. In Babe Ruth's record, the field would link to "Red Sox", "Yankees", and "Braves". In Mickey Mantle's record, the field would only link to "Yankees". In Jackie Robinson's record, the field would only link to "Dodgers". How can I set the trigger to email for Babe Ruth's record and not Mickey Mantle or Jackie Robinson?
