My client has a team of several Creators and one Owner. They want to make an Interface that is only viewable to the Owner. When I create a new Interface and choose not to share with users (I click "Not Now" on the dialogue box shown below), then I go to Manage Permissions, it shows that all Creators have permissions to the new Interface. I can't figure out a way to remove access to Interfaces for Creators. Is this even possible? Or do they need to be downgraded to have permissions set for them?

For my small business, I have three levels of information I'm trying to manage. I have (a) the human client, (b) their pet, and (c) the services that they want for their pet. Each human can have multiple pets, and each pet can have multiple services. The projects themselves occur at the pet level, since one human might come back multiple times with different pets, and all the services for a pet occur at once. A pet will not come back for more services again in the future, so it makes sense that we could consider "pet" to be the main unit of analysis (sorry, I'm a social scientist by training, forgive my lingo). A big part of my work is thinking about how I complete tasks by what services I need to do in any given day; in other words, Spot might need Service A, Service B, and Service C done, and I care about knowing what services I've already done and what I still need to do for Spot. Hi hi.I'm stumped. I set up a ridiculously basic automation for a client to send an email at a scheduled time. It's set up as follows:Trigger: at 9:00am on the 15th of the monthAction 1: Find Records that match a condition (billingStatus = Bill By Month)Action 2: Using the records that were found in Action 1, send one email per record. Each email has my client's email address as both the bcc: and the Reply To email. The Run History shows that earlier today, the automation ran once and 4 emails were sent. But my client got 6 emails! 2 were correct and only were sent once = yay; 2 were sent to the same email address twice - one with the right information and one with the wrong information = boo. Hi. Sorry, but I'm struggling to know how to do this. After my automation sequence, I want to update a date field with todays date to show when the automation ran. I've searched hard here, but I cannot find a way to do this. I've tried a formula in the chosen field to update, but formulas don't seem to be accepted in the 'update record' module.

Hi everyone, a coworker and I are designing a new AT system to help our communications team manage content production, marketing campaigns, and individual tasks related to both content and campaigns. To solve for multiple needs and use cases, we're thinking of creating a standalone base for each one of those buckets (content, campaigns, tasks) and using two-way syncing to make sure they're all talking to each other. The issue: When our team leaders create a new campaign in base 1, they also want to create new pieces of content (stored in base 2) and assign that content to team members as part of that new campaign. They want to be able to fill all that information out in the same place. Is it possible to design an interface form (or just a form in the data layer) in base 1 that could be used to fill out both campaign info housed in base 1 *and* content info housed in base 2? And if so, could someone show me how? Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello, I am trying to set up an automation that is sending out all our Purchase orders as an email via a shared distribution list.I can link my account, but I do not have the option to choose the "send as" Example: me@test.com  is my account and I also have access to the procurement@test.com distribution list. I log into my account in the "send email via gmail" automation, but after that it is linked to my private email. I can choose the distribution list as a sender via Zapier, but I would like to cut that out. Thanks for any help and advice

Hi Everybody! since start of the year I've noticed a change in the behaviour of one automation, that is causing me a lot of trouble.In a table I've a formula field that generates the ID necessary to link the record to another one in another table. The automation copy this formula field in the link field and the association is done. The link field as the selection limited to a specific view. Up until recent, this automation as worked very well, but now is not selecting the linked record only in the specific view, but outside of it.Sadly in the table that need to be associated, there some ID that are identical, so the association is not correct anymore. For this reason the selection on the link field on the first table was limited to a specific view, and it worked just fine, but now is not the case anymore.I know that the better solution would be to change the formula that generates the ID of the second table, so that they are unique, but this have implications on all the base, and

Hello everyon, so I have created this project management based on the template. I have got around 10 people in the group and how can I do that when each person logs into that base it will show tasks by name individually? Cuz for now you have to do it in condtions 

Is it possible to limit the filter option (tags) in one field based in the results of a filter set on another field?Example: I've created a view and shared the link. The user comes to my view and wants to filter the results displayed. Assume user wants to filter on two different fields (both of which have 10 values/tags each).User selects 1 filter out of the 10 options available in Field 1.User then goes to select a filter from Field 2. Is it possible to have the options available to select in Field 2 limited to just those that remain associated with the results of the Field 1 filter rather than showing all 10 of the Field 2 options. Let's say only 3 of the 10 Field 2 options are associated with the items in the result of the first filter. Can the filter selection view simply show those 3 or does it have to show all 10 even though 7 of them would result in an empty result set? Thanks!

Very new user here.I have a simple base with one table and one form.  It is designed to add new people to a mailing list.  I created a form to add new records, and that seems to work fine.  Now I need to create a navigation.  I would like to see a sidebar which includes 2 items, the table and the form.  Is it possible to have the table and the form in the same sidebar?  I don't really need to see the buttons at the top (data, automations, interfaces).How can I add the 2 items to the sidebar, then reliably cause it to appear?  While playing with this, I saw a sidebar, but once I left it, I can't figure out how to bring it back.  Can anyone help?  Thanks...

For the automation above, I kept getting an error OR inaccurate output. When I would test it out and submit a 90% score, it keeps creating a record as if the score was less 89.99

Hello, I'm trying to merge records in my table when 3 criteria match. I've been able to identify which records are duplicates, but I am having trouble merging them. Logically I believe my code should do what I want it do, I am not super familiar with asynch and I think that is what is messing me up. When I run this code it throws: Syntax error: await is only valid in async functions and the top level bodies of modules [script.js:33:9] I've been reading through documentation and discussion posts, but I'm not sure what is happening to cause it to throw an exception. I am new to Airtable. I have create a Form to capture Emergency Contact Information. When I shared the link, the end user must register to complete this form. Is there a way to have the employee complete form without having to create an account or register?Note - I am currently using the Free version of Airtable. I don't know if this make a difference.

Hi. I have a very basic password system that uses letters to denote numbers. The numbers come from a client's DOB.I have a date (DOB) field and another field using DATETIME_FORMAT to only show the numbers (DDMMYY). That's all fine.I would like to have a new field that displays a particular letter for each number - to create a very simple password. Lets say: 1=a, 2=b, 3=c, 4=d, 5=e, 6=f, 7=g, 8=h, 9=i, 0=jIs there a formula that would do this please? 

Great session today! I really enjoyed it! I wanted to follow-up to clarify my question and see if others have ran into the same situation and if anyone knew the solution! So, I have an interface form with the new form builder. Within that form, I have separate groups based on what a user selects initially -    1 - User puts in base info2 - User selects the option3 - This group displays when a specific option is selected in 2 (So it's conditional) My question is.. when I added a field in the group 3) (In this example "Hit Time"), I can't seem to be able to "re-add" it to another group. So say that user selects a different option for 2), but I use that one field "Hit Time" for multiple options in 2. When it is in the group, I can't use it in another group.Is there a way to do that? Or is the current solution to only group specific fields that are not required for different conditional options. Thanks all in advance for the help!  

Dear all,I'm using the calendar in the interface; in the month view, if there are more items, accondingly to the zoom setting, only some items are visible, while others are not visible, even though the label "+ x more" is present.Even by clicking in the day the other items appear only for less than 1 sec, after the click.Are there some ways in order to see the title of the items withuot open the right summarize column? Thank you. Best regards. A. Hi,Every time I try to convert the multiple select field (automatic field from import) to Date (with time included), I get this message that some cell data may be cleared. And indeed, most of the cell data were cleared. I don't understand this as my data is clean it is a standard 03/05/2023 7:00:00, 10/05/2023 7:00:00, 17/05/2023 7:00:00, etc As you can see, the three rows show up blank after I try to convert to Date (with time) field.This is the original data after importing from Excel sheet. Would appreciate any advise on how I could convert all data successfully. Hi there, I am trying to create an If/or formula and got it to work but I can't get the formula to be blank if there's no data in a field. I'm sure that makes no sense. Here's an example: Let's say I have a small list of produce in a column. I want to create a formula in a new column to give me the category of produce either as a fruit or as a vegetable. I got the formula to work but if no produce has been selected I'm still seeing "Vegetable" in the formula column and I want it to return a blank value. Any ideas? Here's the example formula. In the Airtable interface it came to my attention today that Read Only users can see all other users who have access to the same interface. I simply assumed they couldn't share or see this information.Does anyone know how I disable sharing for read only users, or the ability to see who it is shared with?This is totally work stopping for me on my current project. In fact this is preventing me from wanting to use Airtable interfaces for any public facing work, even for people who have paid Airtable accounts. 

I made an automation to create reminders in my Google Cal. They’re all-day events, which by default don’t show you as busy, but when they’re made through Airtable they’re ticked to show as busy. I couldn’t find a field to change this in my automation. Can I make it so my all-day events made from automation don’t show as busy?

I have a large multi-select that I then need to turn into a list format. I did the usual substitute the comma for a line break but unfortunately the items in this multi-select (that I can not edit) also use commas so now it's adding commas where I don't want them. Is there a way to get the formula to avoid those commas but not the others?  SUBSTITUTE({Plot Themes},", ","\n")
