Hello, I have a question that I am having trouble finding an exact answer for; my company manages week-long events at a large scale and I'm trying to determine how much it would cost to allow several temporary collaborators on a specific base for a week.I know that Airtable bills per user prorated by day, so does that mean if I bring in 5 users for 5 days and the monthly cost is $24/month, would the answer be $0.80/day per user*5 users*5 days= $20 total added to the invoice? I hope this makes sense, let me know if you need any more context! 

I'm pasting a single-line text field ("Whisky Name") into a linked field ("Link to Summary Page"), and it used to paste all the names across into the linked field. The action was that if a name matched with an existing one, it linked it to the existing one and if it didn't, it created a new line in the summary table.When I pasted all the single-line texts across, it matched the existing ones and left all the ones that would be 'new' items blank. I know this because if I manually select the link cell, type in the name (nothing shows up), and 'click create a new record' it works. In that case, if I have a duplicate further down and I try the copy-and-paste method, it works because it now has a match.Has something changed?

I am creating a form for our website that I will need external users to fill out. I want to minimize user input error so I have created a table with state names/abbreviations to link to the form. When they start to fill out the state it populates options they can pick, but is there a way to make this look better by eliminaing showing where the data is going (it shows 'Leads' the table where it is going and I don't want customers to see that). Or is there a way to easily upload the state abbreviations that I have in the table without manually entering them all as a single select drop down option?Last question, I love the look of the interface form but from what I can tell this is not something you can share with outside airtable users via our website? Other than having them creative an airtable login, is this correct?

I'd like to send an email to a user when a Linked field is updated, but ONLY send the new updates, not the entire contents of the field.I'm working on a job board. I want to email the organization that posted the job every time a new applicant applies to their posting.I have two Tables – Users and Job Postings. The two fields are linked so that each Job record shows the Users that have applied to the job, and each User record shows the Jobs they have applied to.It seems like I can only email the ENTIRE "Users" field to the job poster through the automations creator. Ideally, I would send a daily email to the job poster with only the NEW profiles that have applied to the job.Any help here is appreciated!

Hi,I have a currency column that is being auto-calculated, and the way Airtable is summing the numbers is sometimes incorrect - off by a few cents.I suspect this is because the auto-calucations sometimes come from .00 or .000 fractional ownership of certain goods, so when Airtable sums a bunch of those at once it's somehow dropping or carrying over fractions of cents...If I copy and paste the whole list of numbers in Excel, for instance, it gives me the correct total. So I'm searching for a way to somehow convert the auto-calculated field to a plain number field which will hopefully only give me the sum of the numbers as they are.Any suggestions for how to to this? Hi,My company has reached its max limits of automation configurations on one base and has decided to move on of the tables in our base to a secondary base for better scalability.  What would be the best course of action to begin this process, provided that there are multiple tables that are already linked in the original base.  My thoughts are that taking advantage of Enterprise 2-way sync should make this feasible, but I am wondering if anyone else has attempted this and has any tips. Drew

I have two tables: "Billing" and "Activities". I'm trying to find a way to combine this data so that I can see $ received from bills while only including "TimeEntry's". In this specific scenario, the amount I would need to see is $530, since the $100 is an ExpenseEntry.It is way too time consuming to manually count the hundreds of records, so I need a formula or an easier way to compute this. I am a historian, constructing a historical database (1940s-60s). When I click on my linked record for a person or institution, some of which will have to link to 1000+ records, I notice that the records are almost arranged in date order - but not quite. As I scroll down, I will notice up to 20 or 30 records running from earlier to later, as I would like, then a record from a decade earlier will appear next, followed by another run of (successful) earlier-later sequencing, though often for yet another subset of years. Naturally, I would like the entire contents of a linked record to run from earlier to later. I cannot see what other sort criterion the linked record might be using. It certainly isn’t the random 6-digit number I’ve created for each record ID. What is odd is how the linked record is almost in date order.

Hi All, A search of the community yielded the same question but no definite answer. I have created a view on Airtable, shared it so users can search and find info that they need. Problem - filtering, grouping, and search work only on desktop or laptop browsers. None of those options are available on mobile devices. Is there a workaround or some way to get at least the filter and search to work on a mobile device? Thanks in advance. Regards, usha

I'm not certain if the OAuth flow is working as expected...When initiating an OAuth flow for an existing, and currently logged-in user, the OAuth pattern works as expected. After the OAuth consent screen is displayed, flow correctly redirects the user to the redirect_uri.However, if a user is NOT logged in, the flow works to the point of providing an Airtable login screen for the user and then drops them into their admin page WITHOUT a OAuth consent screen. I would have presumed that for users who have not logged in, Airtable would allow them to login and then proceed to the OAuth consent process. As it stands now, users are dropped into Airtable without ever redirecting back to the calling site leaving users stranded. And assistance on this would be appreciated.

Hi everyone!Okay.. so... bear with me... I have people that have multiple roles {Contact Type} in the company (Humans Table)I also have a Junction table (CT Category by Human) so I can manipulate the dataso in my third table (CT status NEW) now that each role {Contact Type} is on a separate row I can add a different 'Status' to each roleMy issue arises when I add a new role to a contact in the 'Humans' Table. I have a working automation that populates the Contact Type row in the junction table with the new human that has been assigned this role....But I can't work out how to get that new info into a new row in the third table in order to allocate a status for it.... What I have been able to do is create a fourth table that creates records anytime the [Contact Type] field is updated in the first table... like so..  mainly so i can keep track of how often role changes happen. For a few days now, when I click on Interfaces, I'm redirected on the new interfaces page where I can see all my published interfaces on the left menu, but I don't have any option to create a new one.Has something changed?

Hi. My nonprofit is using an Airtable base to support and manage data from youth teams that are conducting service-learning projects. I have a table called "Teams" that holds all the data about each team. Then I created a form through Fillout.com where they can create new records in a table called "Project Plans." The first thing they do when filling out the form is to select their Team name, i.e. a field in the Project Plan table that links back to the Teams table.The problem is that before I understood how linked records work (creates a field in the table where it's created, but also a corresponding one back on the table that it links to),  I would notice the new field in table it was linking to and thought- what the heck is this extra field here? And then deleted it.I now need to create lookup and rollup fields in the Teams table, but have broken the link by deleting the corresponding field there. The "Teams" field in the "Project Plan" table still shows the team name.Is t

I have a table where static information about my volunteers lives.In it, I have a field (Static Notes) with an IF statement that looks to see if they have a check mark in "Qualified" (to walk dogs) and if they do, it returns "DDW" (designated dog walker), which then shows up on the schedule.Can I write a nested IF statement that looks at a different field altogether (Training Status) and if they "Need More Training" returns "Trainee" in the Static Notes field (the same field where DDW would appear)?Or do IF statements only distinguish between options in one field? And if that's true, how would I get various information (other qualifications, for example) to show up in my Static Notes field?Thank you! Here's the system:Base A: Used for Project Management for an event in January.Interface A: Created on top of Base A for use by other members on the team where data access needs to be considered.Base B: Use for Project Management for an event in February. It is created by Duplicating Base A after the completion of January's event, so that the base undergoes an iterative design process, benefiting from the additions/improvements made to the base during the last event.❌  What I'd Like to Do: Upon creation of Base B by duplicating Base A, create Interface B that is a duplicate of Interface A.I am aware that Airtable does not support duplicating Interfaces to other bases for fear that the underlying data structure will be different (on Airtable's end, I imagine that at the least they should be able to offer the option to duplicate the interface associated with the base at the time that the base is duplicated).Has anyone else found a way to work around this? Hi,Is there a way I can create a formula that will determine the Monday for all these dates and return just one date. For example, in this table it's looking up data from another table, in this case the Monday for this set of dates is the 12th. How con I accomplish this? I need it to create a "end of week".. which I already have the formula for that. Please help.

Dear all, With my team we are using airtable to do systematic reviews and extract data from science literature papers. For each study we created 2 rows and each one is assigned to a reviewer. So, for example, we have the coloumn “sample size” and reviewer 1 writes 89 in his record and reviewer 2 writes 98 in her record. Let us suppose that there is an incrugruence. I am using rollup function to ask Airtable to show me the content of the two cells. First I used rollup function ARRAYUNIQUE(values). It was ok but if a reviewer did not report the value he should had reported, I cannot see it and it might be useful to see this discrepance between filled and unfilled cells. Thus I used the ARRAYJOIN(values) to see both the values. It fixes the problem above because I can see what both reviewer have extracted, but for long text it might be difficoult to spot differences. I am looking for a way to calculate some percentages in my base. There are a few things I need to do first:1. I want to only include records listed as "Budgeted" or "Not Budgeted", not any "N/A" records. (this removes TEST 1 and TEST 4 from my calculations)2. I also want to only include records with an authorized budget entered, so exclude any that the authorized budget=$0.00 (this removes TEST 2 and TEST 3 from my calculations)3. Of those filtered to only budgeted or not budgeted and not $0.00, I want to count the ones with a remaining budget greater than 0, and count those with remaining budget less than zero, getting a percentage of the two. Hello. Still fairly new to Airtable and working to better understand formulas. I'm looking for input on the following.We have a rental space where rates are set based on duration (up to 4 hours, up to 6 hours, all day). I've set up a table for Rental Rates. Separately, I have a table for rental details, and this includes a duration field ("1st Day Duration") calculated based on rental start and end times.I'm trying to figure out how to create a formula that calculates the correct rental rate based on the duration and then pulling the correct rental rate. So for example, if a duration is 3 hours, the fee would be $x (since that's the "Up to 4 hours" fee). But if the duration is 7 hours, the fee would be $x since it would be a "Full day" rental.One other variable. I'm not sure how to plan for future rental rate changes, so that when rates change existing entries do not change (only newer entries).
