Hello Everyone, I am trying to create an automation that sends draft social media posts for approval. The problem I am running in to is being able to reply to these actionable messages in Slack with text that will update an airtable field. So basically here is how the work flow goes. When a new post is created and is in draft it will send an actionable message to a slack channel with two buttons. The first button is "Approve" and the 2nd button is "comment". If the comment button is clicked I would like the slack user to be able to enter some text that will then update a field in airtable. I have been able to get the approve button to work but when the comment button is selected I do not get the option in slack to enter text. How can I solve this problem. I would appreciate your input. Thank You 

Should be a simple automation so I'm certain it's user error but I can't find my mistake.I have a date value. When that date value is updated I want a single-select record to automatically update to "Date Changed"Use case is to generate a weekly email via a separate automation that shows all rows that had a changed date in a given week.My error is "Received invalid inputs."Please let me know if you need more details/context and thank you in advance. 

I have set up an automation:Trigger> Google sheets: when a row is createdAction 1> find records where REF is [value from google sheet column with REF #s, which should match airtable REF values]Action 2> update recordAction 2 is giving me trouble. I have 2 fields I want to update (a checkbox and a currency field).When a row is created on the google sheet, for example with airtable REF #AB-0101 in the google sheets "airtable ref #" column, I want airtable to find record #AB-0101 and update that record's checkbox and currency field. I swear I had it working last week, but today's test failed due to "invalid inputs." I don't really understand how the "Record ID" part of the automation setup works for Action 2 (update record). I did blue plus sign > Use data from... find records step > ...... then I'm lost! I've been digging around trying to find an explanation for the different options here (Insert all records as list vs grid, vs Make a new list of...) but not

Is it possible to automate the status of read-only interface collaborators? For example, when the status of a collaborator changes to 'inactive' in my base, I'd like to remove them as collaborators on all interfaces. When their status changes to 'active', I'd like to remove their access to Interface B but preserve their read-only access to Interface A. 

I need help with script (or other way?) to merge Multiple rows with same "User ID". These aren't duplicate rows. They have 2 fields in them that are different in each of the rows with the same User ID but need to be merged to one row. Essentially every 4 rows will have the same User ID that needs to be merged like this. I have a form that is letting people create Inventory Request Records, choosing Item Records they would like to check out from our inventory. We would like to have a way that will automatically prevent them from choosing an item that will be checked out during the dates they have selected.Using the filters and conditional options for these fields, I only see being able to toggle visibility for the results of the "check in date" and "return date". I would like to use the values from the questions asking for the dates to compare to the records in our "Items" grid so "Items" checked out will not be visible but I cannot find a way to do this. We are not able to use a 3rd party platform.Any guidance on maybe how to rework the fields to allow us to use the info from previous answers to help filter their selection? Is there any way to have formulas or more advanced coding in these forms?

I am struggling to add a holiday string in an existing worback formula that changes the date based on another field. We have a form our users fill out that requires selecting a few entries from a long list of items, which we've managed to clean up by storing items by organization name--each organization has its own multi-select field, and they're conditional upon that organization being selected, so the form works nicely on the front end.On the backend, we have a bit of a mess. There are nearly 100 organizations, and every one of them has a field. In order to easily collect the items that users are selecting, we have a formula field that concatenates every organization field. It's basically:{AA} & {BB} & {CC}which returns the selected values in whichever field.The problem is that the multiselect fields don't all behave the same with the concatenation. Sometimes they produce a comma and space between them. Sometimes they don't. My goal is to clean this up for our user facing team in our automated email notification to show which items they've selected in a nice, bulleted list.Any ideas?

Hello!I am looking for a formula that will update on a month basis to pull data for a meeting.I have a few dates I want to pull from - Target Start, Target Completion Date, and Dev start. I would like to label any records that have a date in the upcoming month (ex. March as our review is the last week in Feb) to be labeled as "Now." Then any content that has a date falling in the next 3-months to be labeled as "Near" and all remaining to be "Next". Any thoughts?? The date ranges for Now and Near could overlap, meaning it is being worked on over a longer period of time and should also reflect as Now.Thank you!!!!

I have 2 linked tables, Tasks and Sub Tasks. I want the Sub Tasks' status to define the status of the Task. I currently have a rollup that makes an array of all the statuses in a given Task's Sub Task. Then I have a formula that reads these arrays and creates a status. Hello:I am trying to create a RollUp for A Scoring Process we are undergoing related to our Strategic Plan. I have managed to get everything else to work; however, I am running into a challenge doing a RollUp for two questions.One is a Simple Yes/No Question. I want to get the total number of Yes/No Votes.The second is a Yes/No/Maybe question. Likewise, I would like to get the total number of Yes/No/Maybe votes.I have tried creating conditional formatting that counts IF FIELD=YES, but that is not giving me the total number of 'Yes' when I roll up. I recognize I will probably need five new columns - but I cannot figure out how to get them to populate with the required information.Thanks for any help.

Hi all,I feel like this question may have a very easy solution, however I have been unsuccessful with my attempts so far. Basically, I have created three interfaces with one or two pages in each. I want to share a couple of my interfaces with some of my team members, and the other interface with my other team members. I am struggling to understand how to accomplish this, such that they do not have access to the other's interfaces.In the sharing options, it gives me the option to share to individual bases via link, however when I test the link i can click back and open the other interfaces (I also tried with another account I can access to test it and the same result happened) I am sure I am missing something. And if there isn't a solution, a work around where I only get one page/interface is acceptable. Thank you,Ben

I'm not normally a scripter, but just spent two weeks trying to put this little routine together and make it work. The script calculates the date one year in the future and uses it to rename a new column in the format MMM'YY.  After loads of trial and twice as much error, I actually got in to work!:Naturally I was really pleased with myself! Now just to apply a trigger. I want it to run on the first of each month. My first idea was to paste it into an automation. But I soon discovered that scripts run from the automation cannot create fields.How frustrating! Why not? Can anybody think of a workaround? Is there a command I can put in the script editor to make it trigger on a regular interval?Any ideas or workarounds gratefully received.

I'm trying to build an IF Formula that seems like it would be straight-forwarded, but is proving to be more complicated than I thought it would be and has got me stumped. Both fields are Lookup fields getting a Rollup value from another table. I started with a basic IF formula, but the problem is it resulted in X $0 values being replaced by the Y value, when I wanted the $0 X value to be returned.IF(X,X,Y) Then I tried to a formula to say if X is equal to or greater than 0, and that worked, but it would not return Y if the X Column was blank. IF(X >=0,X,Y) So, I tried an IF / Or Formula. It still returned the X field correctly, but did not return the Y Field if the X field was blank. (Update: I originally wrote this wrong when I posted. I was trying to say if X is not blank & is equal to or more than 0, return X, otherwise return Y. I have a fairly niche-type issue that I've not been able to figure out; for context, I've created a check in base optimized for a team of supervisors to check in/out staff using the Airtable mobile app. I have 2 tables linked together, where one represents 1 record for every shift (named "All Shifts"), which is linked to a table (named "BA Data") that houses the staff info of whoever is scheduled for a shift. I would like for my Supervisors to be able to open the linked record (aka "BA Data") while looking at the "All Shifts" table and be able to modify a "Current Location" field and a "Lead Notes" field (both are housed in the "BA Data" table). The navigation to do so seems to work just fine, but when a user opens the linked record from the mobile app, it appears that the Sort is defaulted to newest to oldest fields, in the order they've been modified; I know this because when I converted the oldest field to "Current Location" in order to bump it up to the top, the oldest fi

I have a base that has a number of tables representing incoming work from different sources (e.g. a jira tickets table, a slack messages table, a spreadsheet process table, a email table).  And I want to combine them into a single 'team workload' table that I can create views in summarising who's working on what type of work item.Airtable's multi-sync feature (https://support.airtable.com/docs/multi-source-syncing) is a great way to do this with 1 drawback - it means I need to create an entirely new base instead of just add a new table to my existing base.Is there any way around this?  I'm not sure why I can't sync/multi-sync within an existing base?  Thanks for any thoughts! 

Anyone have experience with the downgrade process from Enterprise to Teams? We downgraded from Enterprise to Free, and planned to then upgrade to Teams but we have all these deleted users from years ago that somehow showed up on our free plan. I can't upgrade to Teams to remove them because I'd have to pay for the deleted users before I would have access to the feature to delete. Anyone experience this?
