If there are options in a drop down menu (example Quiz or Test), start dates are entered by user, can I add a new column with a formula that detects the word 'quiz' or 'test' in the previous column and add an end date automatically based on the word? A quiz is 3 days after start date and a test is 6 days after start date for example. Appreciate any insight.

Hi, I am having trouble connecting to the Airtable Library from Google App Script. Google App Script is asking me for a Script ID but I don't seem to be able to find one. I am also confused by the replacement of the Airtable API with PAT which I equally am unsure how to use. Any help would be very useful. I am a bit of a novice. Sorry.Ultimately, I simply want to copy some data from a Google Sheet into one of my tables.

I'm trying to make an automation that will update a field to say if a step is Completed, In Progress, or Not Started based on four checkbox fields.I'm able to get the field to correctly state when it's not started (when none of the checkboxes are checked) and when it is in progress (when any of the four checkboxes are checked) but I can't seem to overwrite the "In Progress" option when all four checkboxes are checked. I understand why this is happening as technically even if all four boxes are checked the conditions for "In Progress" are met but is it possible to have this condition not be active if all four of the checks are present. Or is there a way to have sequential automations so it could first check if all four checkboxes are checked and if not only then look to see if it's "In Progress"?I'm very new to automations so I figure there's a way to do this so any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi,I'm trying to set up an automation that generates tasks with due dates. For example, when I create a project with an overall due date in a "projects" table, I plan to create a record in the "tasks" table with individual tasks and due dates calculated from the project due date.So, I'm trying to get the task to calculate its own due date based on the "Send Date" field in my Projects table. I have the following formula that isn't working.I have also tried -21, "days", and a few other solutions others have seen, but I continue to get an error that says "Could not convert string to date" -- any ideas?

I see this question has been asked and answered before Airtable updated their plans/billing structure, so checking in to see if anyone might have a solution.When creating a "send email" automation, I'm getting this message: On your billing plan, you may only email collaborators with verified emails. Contact your workspace administrator to upgrade.We are on the team plan and I confirmed in the documentation (https://support.airtable.com/docs/send-an-email-action) that I should be able to "email 100 unique non-collaborator email addresses per day."Any ideas why I'm running into this and how to fix it?Thanks!

Hello, in a automation on Airtable I set up a trigger that, when someone submit a form and create a record in a table named "customer", Airtable run a script that have a vlookup function that read a "Program code" value and insert the "Program Name" from "Code" table. If the vlookup have a correspondence than the value of the cell is equal to the "Program Name" if not the cells value is "Not found".After this action I set up a script that wait 20 sec. in order to wait the update of the data in the record and then I put a condition that:If the "Program Name" is "Not found" then send an email "Code not found"Otherwise (and then it means that "Program Name" have the name of the program) then send another email with the landing page and other info. If I test manually this automation with the function "Test Automation" with a selected record  this action work correctly. But if I submit a form and this automation run with his trigger, the output is always the otherwise conditi

Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong with this formula? SWITCH( {HS-LA %},"15%", ({GBP Amount}-{HS-LA Commission}),"10%", ({GBP Amount}-{HS-LA Commission}-{HS-LA Commission}),)Or suggest another way to achieve it - I've tried a few IF options too but can't get that to work either. For context, I'm a literary agent and depending on the type of deal I do I either take 15% or 10% commission. Where I take 10% a co-agent will have also taken 10% but that's not necessary for me to track, other than that when I'm working out the author's overall income I need to make sure I know they didn't get it (hence trying to take away my commission twice in those instances here). The closest I got to it working (ie, it actually ran something instead of refusing to save because of an error), I got words back instead of numbers and what I need is numbers. 

Hello, I have a problem. I have a client table, a sector table, and a date time table. So I'm linking a client with one sector and some dates. What I need to do is another table to set meetings. I need a form where a company can write the company name, and then choose a sector but only show those dates from a specific sector and the company needs to be able to choose one date from those dates from the sector.  

I am trying to separate the values in the "ADKAR numerical value" column so that the first number (2) is inputted into the "Awareness value" column. Then so on where I input the next number after the comma into another column, etc.Any help is greatly appreciated! 🙂  

Hey all, I am trying to add two static images within the extension page designer through the image url but after a few hours the images break and stop working. I have added the images I want to use to another table within the same airtable base and I am copying the image address to add that to the image url for the static image. How do you stop the static images breaking or is there another way to add static images into page designer?Any help would be amazing as I have googled and read other Q&A's and am completely stuck. 

Hi folks,I've been trying to solve this puzzle all day; there are quite a few scripting examples in the community here that I've tried to adapt to my use, to no avail.Here's the situation:These two columns should be ordered exactly the same, except that the one on the right gets jumbled up during a "find records" step in an automation that populates this field.They're ordered this way in the line items table, but for some reason the "find records" step jumbles them up:I need a script or formula that will re-order the line items in ascending order according to the purple-circled numbers in the line item IDs. I have used Batch Update to do the job, but I'm looking for an automated solution that will sort the line items for use in a Zap that creates an invoice - and the line items need to be in a particular order.Thanks for your help in advance,Shawn : ) 

Hi ! I've set up a time zone - which is the same for all collaborators - in events I plan in Airtable. However, when I send au automated email to my collaborators to let them know they've been assigned to an event, the time zone in the email is not the correct one, hence, they get the wrong time in their email assigning them to an event.Is there any way to solve this? It seems weird that the automation changes the time setting...Thank you so much!

So I'm basically building out a progress tracker to track sales.  Once a sales rep lands on the interface, I want them to only see their own record, and nothing else.  Any way to do that?Just to clarify, the Sales Rep looking at the interface should only be able to see his own record in the interface. Cheers!

Is there a way to create a link to a form with pre-filled information? For example, I want a button in an interface that can go to a form to add a bug linked to whatever the user was looking at in the interface, so that the link is already set when opening the form.

Hi All. Longtime reader, first-time poster. I'm having a logic issue that I can't wrap my head around and I'm hoping the hive mind can help.I am building an automation in a base that tracks travel. The goal of the automation is to send an email to travelers with a summary of all of the logistics of their trip. One category I'm really struggling with is listing contact information for other people going on the same trip. Right now, the traveler profiles are in one table, the individual trips are in another table, and the parent events that those trips are connected to (conferences, etc) are in a third table, and they are all linked. The email automation is being triggered by the trip data, and ideally, I'd like to pull the contact information of all of the travelers who are linked to the same parent event as trigger record. It feels like it should be simple, but my brain is not working this one out. Do you have ideas?

Hi there! I’m trying to use the IF and DATEADD formulas to calculate a Project Start Date based on whether or not a Launch Date is entered for a record. If there is no Launch Date entered, the record field should be left blank. Here is the formula: IF({LAUNCH DATE} = BLANK(), “”, DATEADD({LAUNCH DATE}, -16,‘week’)) What I am getting is a date string (2021-10-18T00:00:00.000Z) instead of the Friendly Date format. Hi everyone, I'm really bad with the formula field!I'm trying to create a formula that prints "OK" if each user that I added has an active status; if some users have inactive status, print "not everyone," and if nobody has an active status, print "nobody." My problem is that the formula is based on info from another table, but I need it on that table.Those are my examples of base: I'm trying to add this formula field to the Report Table. This feels like it should be so simple. I've got a form with roughly 30 questions on it, and I want to use Page Designer to create a PDF of each response that I can then email to respondents. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to get a simple grid in Page Designer that shows the responses. The only clue I can find is that if I add a Linked Records element to Page Designer I can choose Grid Mode, but I don't have any linked records in the table, it's just collecting the form responses as they come in. I'm in the process of building my base for my business (I'm a literary agent) - I've recently discovered how useful views are and now have a much better sense of what I'm doing but I have a query and I'm wondering if there's a better way to set this up or if I really just have to duplicate these fields (I'm asking because i've seen a couple of posts that say you shouldn't ever have to duplicate fields...)So, my primary filed are the titles of each book under my agency. I then have views for the marketing info, the primary contract (in my case, UK) info etc.The two elements I'm struggling with are:1) Tracking international deals where there will be several countries which will each then need the same fields so that I can track for instance the contract info from the US, Germany, France etc - other than the language, the info I'll need to pull from each contract will have the same field headings. Hi. I'm struggling with a formula to include a blank attachment field as part of 3 AND conditions. I'm testing this in my base before I put the AND part into a make.com airtable trigger module.At the moment, I have this:  IF( AND( {Ind Doc}!=BLANK(), DATETIME_DIFF( NOW(),{Record Created}, "days" ) >13, DATETIME_DIFF( NOW(),{Record Created}, "days" ) <30), "YES", "NO" ) This works, but ignores the first parameter and returns "YES" even for records that have an attachment in {Ind Doc}(Sorry if syntax for the multi-line formula is incorrect, I'm only just starting to learn to write formulas like this)! 🙂

I have a Long Text column in my table with a lot of text, likely 20K plus pages. I used formulas to clean this text, removing undesirable characters, extra spaces, etc.  Is there any way to copy the contents of the Formula column back to the Long Text column, so that the Long Text column will ahve clean but editable data for future use? While I can copy and past some smaller data sets, when I tried to copy and paste this column, I get a 'too large' error.
