Hi,I have a table named "Customer" whose field is "Address"I also have a table named "Invoice" where the associated fields are "Target Customer" where it is linked to "Customer" table and it can linked to many customers; and "Latest Address" which is a roll up field.In my case, i only want to retrieve the last address of the last linked customer. So if i have ["Customer1","Customer2"] in "Target Customer", the "Latest Address" must be Customer2's address only.How can i achieve this?Note: Customer1 and Customer2 are not related to any created time or updated time or any min max value. The sequence is totally random. Thank you

Is it possible using a formula or automation to compare two multi-select fields and show which items are missing from the 2nd? I'd like to have a 3rd field that would show just what was missing from the completed list. 

The "Add record" and "Add milestone" controls are disabled in our Gantt view. Removing all filtering, all grouping, and disabling/re-enabling "Use milestones" in the view's settings have not helped.'How is this supposed to work? 

Hello! I'm creating an Airtable base to manage book club meetings. I have a column for the meeting dates (DD/MM/YYYY) which take place once per month. I'd like to have a "Reading Status" column that uses a formula to create the following labels:"All Done" for meetings where the date has already passed"Up Next" for the upcoming meeting"Not Yet Read" for future meetings that are not the next closest meetingI am new to formulas and struggling with how to set this up. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I have a base that is mostly photos, with reference numbers on each one. Because the photos are the "main event", I am trying to use gallery view to print and/or save as PDF.However, I find that cards often break across pages, and sometimes leave the photos invisible. See example, attached.Is there a way to make gallery view print so that cards do not break across 2 pages? Hi! I found a workaround that’s helpful for me, so I thought I’d share. If someone has an easier way to do this, please let me know! Apologies if this has already been posted, I didn’t find it after a bit of searching. The problem I was trying to solve was that when updating a record, a field can be named using its friendly name (e.g. “First Name”), but then if I change it later, even a little bit, my API integration will break. Each field also has a unique ID, prefaced by fld, but I wasn’t aware of any way to actually find that name. Well, it turns out that you can for most fields, with a little trickery: Edit: See drassi’s post below for an easier way to do this. In the GUI, create a new field, and make it a formula. In the formula, refer to the field that you want to know the ID of. (For instance, if you want to know the ID of the “First Name” field, make your formula “{First Name}”.) Hey I am stuck with the automation of "update records", and this is where I am:1. I have a table named "master project" (primary field) and in each row, consists of 7 sub-projects under the same master project. All 7 projects shared the same status on 4 variables, while each also have different status on 5 variables  2.  I need to break each of the 7 sub-projects into individual row so that I can run calculation based on each row. For this purpose, I have created another table with "Projects" being my primary field. And to continue build on new projects when i have more master projects input from table 1 (above point), I have use "create a record" automation to pipe in full information of each project3. My challenge is, I need to create an automation that, if any update is detected on (1), it should also automate my second sheet (2). But now because I have broken down 1 master project / record in table 1 into 7 rows in table 2, seems like the software is having diff

New to AirtTable automation and surprised this hasn't been asked before, but I couldn't find anything in docs or here. I've got a repeating group set up using List of Records as the Input list. The list of records is only 8 rows long.For each record, I want to run a script. In that script I want to access one of the values from the record currently being iterated over. I was hoping this was passed through `input.config()`, but dumping that reveals only what I manually add as an Input variable.I had this in the script itself, using `selectRecordsAsync` and iterating over each record. However, the operation exceeded the 30second limit, so I thought a repeating group would be better.  thanks

Hello y’all! I’m trying to run an automation on multiple linked records from one record, but it doesn’t work because the action expects one record id. Do you know a way to achieve this? My scenario is this: I have an invoice linked to multiple purchase records from another table I want to fill in a delivered date field on the invoice record and fill the purchase records dates using the automation. Why not use a lookup field? Because sometimes there are partial deliveries or the products are damaged and returned. These would be manually corrected then. All the best!

Hey guys, Really new to Airtable and not an excel expert either. I have been trying to create a Master Catalog / Master SKU table which contains fields like SKU variations, Amazon ASIN, Category, sub-categories, landed costs etc. I have also assigned a Master SKU code as the Primary and this may overlap for some SKU variations. I want to create another table where I can import the Sales data in excel format, which carries the Amazon ASINs (not all of them populated in the Master SKU) and Units Sold. The excel may also contain other data that is not relevant to this exercise. Similarly, I would like to create more tables to upload sales data from other marketplaces (each has their unique marketplace product ids) as well. How do i get Airtable to recognise these ASINs (or other unique marketplace ids) & match them with the Master so that I can link the records ? Or do i have to key in each line of Sales Data as a New record in a New table and then individually link eac

I developed a table that looks up records from other tables in a base. My colleagues all say that they have never touched this table, yet revision history of multiple records in the Linked column say that they were "edited by pasting." I have searched AirTable FAQ and can't find that phrase anywhere. Has anyone else seen that with Linked & Lookup fields? Perhaps my colleagues just don't remember that they did this? When I add a new record and see it show up in the Linked table, it just shows that I edited it, not "by pasting."

Hi! I want to be able to use something like the Forms feature to add multiple records in one go for non-licensed viewers, but the forms feature is limited to one record at a time and the editable shared view does not support copy and paste. For example: I have a Project name record I want to add (view #1) x number of tasks records linked to the project name (view #2) and x number of project collaborators records linked to the project name (view #3). Rather than submitting the form multiple times to add: Project name Task 1 description + link to project name Task 2 description + link to project name … etc Project collaborator 1 name + link to project name Project collaborator 2 name + link to project name … etc I want to be able to add this in one form. Is it possible with a scripting block/app or in a separate front-end interface?

Hello! I work for an event facility and we are trying to automate our calendar with a submission form. The idea is that when a new form is submitted with an event name, date and time that it will be automatically added to Google calendar. With the current automation, it syncs the date with google calendar, but defaults to 12pm for the time for everything submitted. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to make this work? Thanks! Jamie

The amount of the contribution will vary based on a beneficiary category.- 3 [Salarié] : they are employees who can benefit from either a commercial offer, or an exclusive offer if their company contributes on the given offer.I want to created a table where I will calculate the amount due by the employee, based on a) his Employee ID (and the company attached), b) the Commercial offer chosen and c) the beneficiary (the employee himself, an invitee or a family member).For a chosen Commercial offer, and given the company the employee is linked to, I need to know if there is a contribution from its company. New to Airtable and had the webinar getting started with Airtable. However, my work will be to read and write data from a 3rd party app. Generally data will be pushed and pulled from the 3rd party app/website.The method to push and pull the data will be similar to the CURL examples in the docs. Seems straight forward.OverallMy general question: any suggestions or insight for best practice, etc. DetailTo get specific, I have created a couple Bases in my account as well as a Personal Key. Looking at the API call to List Records I need the BaseID. Looking in my account I don't see this info attached to the Base. My assumption then, I'll need to use List Bases to be able to List Records on a specific Base. Will I need to use this process every time? Storing this info into a local table on the 3rd party app is an option. So is it possible the IDs might change during the life of the base/table/record? Case StudyHere's a typical scenario. I use Airtable for my small property management business. I have to send a list of customers and some data about them to my insurance agent every year as part of the renewal process for my liability insurance. Insurance companies do not want electronic views of databases. They want hard copies. Paper. To do this, it appears that I have to spend a considerable amount of money to use another application to get my data out of Airtable.Is there a way to print a view or an Interface, or send a pdf of the info, or an email that can be printed? If not, then Airtable has become of no value to me. I need to communicate the way my vendors do. A cannot bend to them to using systems they do not want. I am a very small company. They are very large.If there is away, would someone please let me know how to go about it?Many thanks, Scott

Hi everyone, I am new to the Airtable and I'm excited to be part of this community. May I apologise in advance if I don't use the correct technical terminology.  I design surveys, impact assessments and evaluation tools for a criminal justice charity. I have created a survey using 'Forms' and in one section I have 10 questions that require word responses. For example one of my questions is 'When I am confronted with a problem i can usually find a solution'The multiple choice response can be 'Not at all true' [=1]. Barely true [=2]. Moderately True [=3]. Exactly True [=4]I need to create a formula for a separate column that will tally up all the numerical values and give me the overall score. Any advice on how I write this formula will be greatly appreciated. Cheers Justin    

I've made a Record Template that creates multiple records. I want to write a script that runs this a bunch of times and fills in some of the fields based on a form submission. I can't find any way to access and run a record template from a script. Any help or other ideas would be greatly appreciated. If I can't figure this out I guess I'll just script the whole process and skip using the record template but I'm not proficient in scripting yet so I'll need to learn a lot to do this.

Hi! I have data coming in from a webhook to Make. I am trying to create a formula in Make to search Airtable for number of times an email appears in a field on a table and limit the number of submissions to Airtable. For example, I want to limit the rows to 5 for this user based on email. When the user submits data via the webhook, I want Make to do a search on Airtable and count the number of time the email appears in the table, if email appears less than 5, allow data to be submitted. If more than 5, give an error or prevent data submission. Here is the formula I used. 8.FIELD__KPZIT488X is the value from the webhook for email."{{8.FIELD__KPZIT488X}}"={Email}I have tried to do this with forms, but no luck. Trying to see if it can be done with formulas on the backend.

Is there a way to append data in a field? Let's say I have a long text field called "Campaigns" which will contain the different campaigns that a customer have agreed to through our emails. Is there a way to preserve the previous text and basically add the new text to the field? 

Dear Community,I hope someone can help me with the following issue...I have an automation sending out an email for a record ("shipment" table) with attachments. The attachment(s) come by lookup from my "inventory" table. Now, as some inventory items may have the same attachment (eg. an invoice covering several inventory items/lines) I consequently get several same attachments pulled to the "shipment". How can I tell airtable or my automation to ignore files with same filename when sending out email for a record ("shipment" table) with attachments. It's hard to explain, but I hope someone will see my issue. 🙂 Kai

why does a 'day date' formula, based on a 'start time' return a day as the day before, when the start time is before 8am? Here is my formula column which is based on my start day/time fieldDATETIME_FORMAT(Start,"D-ddd") 

Hi all,I have formulated columns Apple, Orange, Banana, and the formula produces "Y" or "N" values. I want to create another column that will return the name of the column if their value is "Y". Is there any way to do this?I have tried nested IF formula, like IF(Apple="Y", "Apple", Orange="Y", "Orange"...), but the problem is they just return one value, but I want all the columns as long as their value is "Y".Thanks in advance!
