I use Airtable for my small property management business. I have to send a list of customers and some data about them to my insurance agent every year as part of the renewal process for my liability insurance. Insurance companies do not want electronic views of databases. They want hard copies. Paper. To do this, it appears that I have to spend a considerable amount of money to use another application to get my data out of Airtable.Is there a way to print a view or an Interface, or send a pdf of the info, or an email that can be printed? If not, then Airtable has become of no value to me. I need to communicate the way my vendors do. A cannot bend to them to using systems they do not want. I am a very small company. They are very large.If there is away, would someone please let me know how to go about it?Many thanks, Scott

Hi everyone, I am new to the Airtable and I'm excited to be part of this community. May I apologise in advance if I don't use the correct technical terminology.  I design surveys, impact assessments and evaluation tools for a criminal justice charity. I have created a survey using 'Forms' and in one section I have 10 questions that require word responses. For example one of my questions is 'When I am confronted with a problem i can usually find a solution'The multiple choice response can be 'Not at all true' [=1]. Barely true [=2]. Moderately True [=3]. Exactly True [=4]I need to create a formula for a separate column that will tally up all the numerical values and give me the overall score. Any advice on how I write this formula will be greatly appreciated. Cheers Justin    

I've made a Record Template that creates multiple records. I want to write a script that runs this a bunch of times and fills in some of the fields based on a form submission. I can't find any way to access and run a record template from a script. Any help or other ideas would be greatly appreciated. If I can't figure this out I guess I'll just script the whole process and skip using the record template but I'm not proficient in scripting yet so I'll need to learn a lot to do this.

Hi! I have data coming in from a webhook to Make. I am trying to create a formula in Make to search Airtable for number of times an email appears in a field on a table and limit the number of submissions to Airtable. For example, I want to limit the rows to 5 for this user based on email. When the user submits data via the webhook, I want Make to do a search on Airtable and count the number of time the email appears in the table, if email appears less than 5, allow data to be submitted. If more than 5, give an error or prevent data submission. Here is the formula I used. 8.FIELD__KPZIT488X is the value from the webhook for email."{{8.FIELD__KPZIT488X}}"={Email}I have tried to do this with forms, but no luck. Trying to see if it can be done with formulas on the backend.

Is there a way to append data in a field? Let's say I have a long text field called "Campaigns" which will contain the different campaigns that a customer have agreed to through our emails. Is there a way to preserve the previous text and basically add the new text to the field? 

Dear Community,I hope someone can help me with the following issue...I have an automation sending out an email for a record ("shipment" table) with attachments. The attachment(s) come by lookup from my "inventory" table. Now, as some inventory items may have the same attachment (eg. an invoice covering several inventory items/lines) I consequently get several same attachments pulled to the "shipment". How can I tell airtable or my automation to ignore files with same filename when sending out email for a record ("shipment" table) with attachments. It's hard to explain, but I hope someone will see my issue. 🙂 Kai 

Hello! I have a large set of dates that are a partial year and month, and would like to convert this to a final date of the month format. Examples:Data I HaveDesired Format24-Apr2024-04-3024-Aug2024-08-3023-Dec2023-12-31I've tried concat using LEFT( & RIGHT(I'd like to try SUBSTITUTE, but not sure of the formatting. why does a 'day date' formula, based on a 'start time' return a day as the day before, when the start time is before 8am? Here is my formula column which is based on my start day/time fieldDATETIME_FORMAT(Start,"D-ddd") 

Hi all,I have formulated columns Apple, Orange, Banana, and the formula produces "Y" or "N" values. I want to create another column that will return the name of the column if their value is "Y". Is there any way to do this?I have tried nested IF formula, like IF(Apple="Y", "Apple", Orange="Y", "Orange"...), but the problem is they just return one value, but I want all the columns as long as their value is "Y".Thanks in advance!

Hey AirTable Community! I am having trouble with Automations. I have my trigger (When a new record is created). When selecting my Action (send an email), I select all the fields I want to display on the email, but when I test it, it’s only pulling certain values, but most of them are left blank, even though the cell has actual information on it (linked from another record & tab) Any solutions to solve this? He has (a lot, I know) of unread notifications but whenever he tries to click on the notifications' button he keeps getting en error which I've attached below.We've already tried to delete cache and cookies, nothing happened. Tried on a different pc, same error.Anybody can help us?Thanks

If there are options in a drop down menu (example Quiz or Test), start dates are entered by user, can I add a new column with a formula that detects the word 'quiz' or 'test' in the previous column and add an end date automatically based on the word? A quiz is 3 days after start date and a test is 6 days after start date for example. Appreciate any insight.

Hi, I am having trouble connecting to the Airtable Library from Google App Script. Google App Script is asking me for a Script ID but I don't seem to be able to find one. I am also confused by the replacement of the Airtable API with PAT which I equally am unsure how to use. Any help would be very useful. I am a bit of a novice. Sorry.Ultimately, I simply want to copy some data from a Google Sheet into one of my tables.

I'm trying to make an automation that will update a field to say if a step is Completed, In Progress, or Not Started based on four checkbox fields.I'm able to get the field to correctly state when it's not started (when none of the checkboxes are checked) and when it is in progress (when any of the four checkboxes are checked) but I can't seem to overwrite the "In Progress" option when all four checkboxes are checked. I understand why this is happening as technically even if all four boxes are checked the conditions for "In Progress" are met but is it possible to have this condition not be active if all four of the checks are present. Or is there a way to have sequential automations so it could first check if all four checkboxes are checked and if not only then look to see if it's "In Progress"?I'm very new to automations so I figure there's a way to do this so any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi,I'm trying to set up an automation that generates tasks with due dates. For example, when I create a project with an overall due date in a "projects" table, I plan to create a record in the "tasks" table with individual tasks and due dates calculated from the project due date.So, I'm trying to get the task to calculate its own due date based on the "Send Date" field in my Projects table. I have the following formula that isn't working.I have also tried -21, "days", and a few other solutions others have seen, but I continue to get an error that says "Could not convert string to date" -- any ideas?

I see this question has been asked and answered before Airtable updated their plans/billing structure, so checking in to see if anyone might have a solution.When creating a "send email" automation, I'm getting this message: On your billing plan, you may only email collaborators with verified emails. Contact your workspace administrator to upgrade.We are on the team plan and I confirmed in the documentation (https://support.airtable.com/docs/send-an-email-action) that I should be able to "email 100 unique non-collaborator email addresses per day."Any ideas why I'm running into this and how to fix it?Thanks!

Hello, in a automation on Airtable I set up a trigger that, when someone submit a form and create a record in a table named "customer", Airtable run a script that have a vlookup function that read a "Program code" value and insert the "Program Name" from "Code" table. If the vlookup have a correspondence than the value of the cell is equal to the "Program Name" if not the cells value is "Not found".After this action I set up a script that wait 20 sec. in order to wait the update of the data in the record and then I put a condition that:If the "Program Name" is "Not found" then send an email "Code not found"Otherwise (and then it means that "Program Name" have the name of the program) then send another email with the landing page and other info. If I test manually this automation with the function "Test Automation" with a selected record  this action work correctly. But if I submit a form and this automation run with his trigger, the output is always the otherwise conditi

Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong with this formula? SWITCH( {HS-LA %},"15%", ({GBP Amount}-{HS-LA Commission}),"10%", ({GBP Amount}-{HS-LA Commission}-{HS-LA Commission}),)Or suggest another way to achieve it - I've tried a few IF options too but can't get that to work either. For context, I'm a literary agent and depending on the type of deal I do I either take 15% or 10% commission. Where I take 10% a co-agent will have also taken 10% but that's not necessary for me to track, other than that when I'm working out the author's overall income I need to make sure I know they didn't get it (hence trying to take away my commission twice in those instances here). The closest I got to it working (ie, it actually ran something instead of refusing to save because of an error), I got words back instead of numbers and what I need is numbers. 

Hello, I have a problem. I have a client table, a sector table, and a date time table. So I'm linking a client with one sector and some dates. What I need to do is another table to set meetings. I need a form where a company can write the company name, and then choose a sector but only show those dates from a specific sector and the company needs to be able to choose one date from those dates from the sector.  

I am trying to separate the values in the "ADKAR numerical value" column so that the first number (2) is inputted into the "Awareness value" column. Then so on where I input the next number after the comma into another column, etc.Any help is greatly appreciated! 🙂  

Hey all, I am trying to add two static images within the extension page designer through the image url but after a few hours the images break and stop working. I have added the images I want to use to another table within the same airtable base and I am copying the image address to add that to the image url for the static image. How do you stop the static images breaking or is there another way to add static images into page designer?Any help would be amazing as I have googled and read other Q&A's and am completely stuck. 

Hi folks,I've been trying to solve this puzzle all day; there are quite a few scripting examples in the community here that I've tried to adapt to my use, to no avail.Here's the situation:These two columns should be ordered exactly the same, except that the one on the right gets jumbled up during a "find records" step in an automation that populates this field.They're ordered this way in the line items table, but for some reason the "find records" step jumbles them up:I need a script or formula that will re-order the line items in ascending order according to the purple-circled numbers in the line item IDs. I have used Batch Update to do the job, but I'm looking for an automated solution that will sort the line items for use in a Zap that creates an invoice - and the line items need to be in a particular order.Thanks for your help in advance,Shawn : )
