I have a Long Text column in my table with a lot of text, likely 20K plus pages. I used formulas to clean this text, removing undesirable characters, extra spaces, etc.  Is there any way to copy the contents of the Formula column back to the Long Text column, so that the Long Text column will ahve clean but editable data for future use? While I can copy and past some smaller data sets, when I tried to copy and paste this column, I get a 'too large' error.

We have a rather large table that needs to be updated/inserted with a datefield value from another table. This needs to be done only once.Table 1 is about 30K records.Table 2 is about 120 records.Table 1 (that needs to be updated) is linked to Table 2. I'm pretty sure there is a rather simple solution to this conundrum but I can't figure it out.

I’m trying to create a SWITCH formula checking for specific text within a field. For instance, if there is a field with a bunch of random numbers and then a name, I want to check for the name in that field, not match the entirety of the text in the field.

I'm super new to airtable and I've been searching for the answer to this and I can't seem to find what I am looking for- likely because I don't know the right terminology but I have a table in my base and I want the primary field to auto populate each new record with a number and the year the record was created so that if there are multiple years I can filter them easily later.I figure it's some sort of formula because I know how to make the field auto number, but I can't figure out the formula to do it. Thanks in advance Amy

Hi, I don't have much experience with API requests. I am trying to understand how it all works. I am currently using Node-RED (visual Node.js) to process the requests. I was able to complete a GET request and i'm now trying to do a PATCH request to update data in Airtable.I get the following error message when trying:type: "INVALID_REQUEST_MISSING_FIELDS"message: "Could not find field "fields" in the request body" Here is the schema in question:I am unsure where the API is expecting the request body.Here is my test JSON:{    "fields": {        "CCISF": 5,        "CORAMH": 5,        "RJCCQ": 5    },    "typecast": true} Do I have to include all fields present in the table or only those i wish to update with the PATCH request? Thank you.

I'm using my airtable to attached keywords images. I have one big keywords table with multiple categories of different keywords. Then i have multiple linked columns to the different categories. However some of the keywords overlap into different categories.So I thought I could rollup all my linked columns and do something like this:  ARRAYUNIQUE(ARRAYJOIN(ARRAYJOIN({RollUp1}) & IF({RollUp2}, ',' & ARRAYJOIN({RollUp2})) & IF({RollUp3}, ',' & ARRAYJOIN({RollUp3})))) However I still have duplicates of keywords in my final array. Does anyone know how I can join my rollups and then filter out all the duplicates? 

Hi Everyone,I am sure this is a common question, but I can't seem to find it... When staff join they have a 3 month/6month and 9 month review. They then have their Annual review (which is always 1 year after their 3 month review). They then have a mid term review and an annual review. My question is...Is there a script/formula that takes the last date entry in Person A's row and creates a date that is 6 months after it so I can then run an email automation 2 weeks prior to that date to remind Person A  their review is coming up. In my example below (DATE FORMAT IS EUROPEAN) As you can see Person B has been employed longer so they are further down the chain they have just had their Y2 annual review and so their Y2 mid term would be 6 months from then (ie 22/7/2024).Person A's however is still in Y1 and has just had their mid term so they are due their Annual review on 6/5/2024.So each row will be a different person who will have different dates as they will be at differen

Hello, we duplicated one table from a base to a new base and a field that originally contained images got converted into a text field that contains the file name of the pictures and a URL. Is there a way to do duplicate the table without this happening? 

Hello Everyone, I am trying to create an automation that sends draft social media posts for approval. The problem I am running in to is being able to reply to these actionable messages in Slack with text that will update an airtable field. So basically here is how the work flow goes. When a new post is created and is in draft it will send an actionable message to a slack channel with two buttons. The first button is "Approve" and the 2nd button is "comment". If the comment button is clicked I would like the slack user to be able to enter some text that will then update a field in airtable. I have been able to get the approve button to work but when the comment button is selected I do not get the option in slack to enter text. How can I solve this problem. I would appreciate your input. Thank You 

Should be a simple automation so I'm certain it's user error but I can't find my mistake.I have a date value. When that date value is updated I want a single-select record to automatically update to "Date Changed"Use case is to generate a weekly email via a separate automation that shows all rows that had a changed date in a given week.My error is "Received invalid inputs."Please let me know if you need more details/context and thank you in advance. 

I have set up an automation:Trigger> Google sheets: when a row is createdAction 1> find records where REF is [value from google sheet column with REF #s, which should match airtable REF values]Action 2> update recordAction 2 is giving me trouble. I have 2 fields I want to update (a checkbox and a currency field).When a row is created on the google sheet, for example with airtable REF #AB-0101 in the google sheets "airtable ref #" column, I want airtable to find record #AB-0101 and update that record's checkbox and currency field. I swear I had it working last week, but today's test failed due to "invalid inputs." I don't really understand how the "Record ID" part of the automation setup works for Action 2 (update record). I did blue plus sign > Use data from... find records step > ...... then I'm lost! Is it possible to automate the status of read-only interface collaborators? For example, when the status of a collaborator changes to 'inactive' in my base, I'd like to remove them as collaborators on all interfaces. When their status changes to 'active', I'd like to remove their access to Interface B but preserve their read-only access to Interface A. 

I need help with script (or other way?) to merge Multiple rows with same "User ID". These aren't duplicate rows. They have 2 fields in them that are different in each of the rows with the same User ID but need to be merged to one row. I have a form that is letting people create Inventory Request Records, choosing Item Records they would like to check out from our inventory. We would like to have a way that will automatically prevent them from choosing an item that will be checked out during the dates they have selected.Using the filters and conditional options for these fields, I only see being able to toggle visibility for the results of the "check in date" and "return date". I would like to use the values from the questions asking for the dates to compare to the records in our "Items" grid so "Items" checked out will not be visible but I cannot find a way to do this. We are not able to use a 3rd party platform.Any guidance on maybe how to rework the fields to allow us to use the info from previous answers to help filter their selection? Is there any way to have formulas or more advanced coding in these forms?

I am struggling to add a holiday string in an existing worback formula that changes the date based on another field. We have a form our users fill out that requires selecting a few entries from a long list of items, which we've managed to clean up by storing items by organization name--each organization has its own multi-select field, and they're conditional upon that organization being selected, so the form works nicely on the front end.On the backend, we have a bit of a mess. There are nearly 100 organizations, and every one of them has a field. In order to easily collect the items that users are selecting, we have a formula field that concatenates every organization field. It's basically:{AA} & {BB} & {CC}which returns the selected values in whichever field.The problem is that the multiselect fields don't all behave the same with the concatenation. Sometimes they produce a comma and space between them. Sometimes they don't. My goal is to clean this up for our user facing team in our automated email notification to show which items they've selected in a nice, bulleted list.Any ideas?

Hello!I am looking for a formula that will update on a month basis to pull data for a meeting.I have a few dates I want to pull from - Target Start, Target Completion Date, and Dev start. I would like to label any records that have a date in the upcoming month (ex. March as our review is the last week in Feb) to be labeled as "Now." Then any content that has a date falling in the next 3-months to be labeled as "Near" and all remaining to be "Next". Any thoughts?? The date ranges for Now and Near could overlap, meaning it is being worked on over a longer period of time and should also reflect as Now.Thank you!!!!

I have 2 linked tables, Tasks and Sub Tasks. I want the Sub Tasks' status to define the status of the Task. I currently have a rollup that makes an array of all the statuses in a given Task's Sub Task. Then I have a formula that reads these arrays and creates a status.
