Hi ! I've set up a time zone - which is the same for all collaborators - in events I plan in Airtable. However, when I send au automated email to my collaborators to let them know they've been assigned to an event, the time zone in the email is not the correct one, hence, they get the wrong time in their email assigning them to an event.Is there any way to solve this? It seems weird that the automation changes the time setting...Thank you so much!

So I'm basically building out a progress tracker to track sales.  Once a sales rep lands on the interface, I want them to only see their own record, and nothing else.  Any way to do that?Just to clarify, the Sales Rep looking at the interface should only be able to see his own record in the interface. Cheers!

Is there a way to create a link to a form with pre-filled information? For example, I want a button in an interface that can go to a form to add a bug linked to whatever the user was looking at in the interface, so that the link is already set when opening the form.

Hi All. Longtime reader, first-time poster. I'm having a logic issue that I can't wrap my head around and I'm hoping the hive mind can help.I am building an automation in a base that tracks travel. The goal of the automation is to send an email to travelers with a summary of all of the logistics of their trip. One category I'm really struggling with is listing contact information for other people going on the same trip. Right now, the traveler profiles are in one table, the individual trips are in another table, and the parent events that those trips are connected to (conferences, etc) are in a third table, and they are all linked. The email automation is being triggered by the trip data, and ideally, I'd like to pull the contact information of all of the travelers who are linked to the same parent event as trigger record. It feels like it should be simple, but my brain is not working this one out. Do you have ideas?

Hi there! I’m trying to use the IF and DATEADD formulas to calculate a Project Start Date based on whether or not a Launch Date is entered for a record. If there is no Launch Date entered, the record field should be left blank. Here is the formula: IF({LAUNCH DATE} = BLANK(), “”, DATEADD({LAUNCH DATE}, -16,‘week’)) What I am getting is a date string (2021-10-18T00:00:00.000Z) instead of the Friendly Date format. Hi everyone, I'm really bad with the formula field!I'm trying to create a formula that prints "OK" if each user that I added has an active status; if some users have inactive status, print "not everyone," and if nobody has an active status, print "nobody." My problem is that the formula is based on info from another table, but I need it on that table.Those are my examples of base: I'm trying to add this formula field to the Report Table. This feels like it should be so simple. I've got a form with roughly 30 questions on it, and I want to use Page Designer to create a PDF of each response that I can then email to respondents. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to get a simple grid in Page Designer that shows the responses. The only clue I can find is that if I add a Linked Records element to Page Designer I can choose Grid Mode, but I don't have any linked records in the table, it's just collecting the form responses as they come in. I know I must be missing something obvious.More details: we offer 4 different products and we're asking our partners how many containers/pallets of each product they will want in each month of the next fiscal year. i.e. In March 2024, partner A might want ten containers of product 1, five pallets of product 2, six pallets of product 3, and one container of product 4. I'm in the process of building my base for my business (I'm a literary agent) - I've recently discovered how useful views are and now have a much better sense of what I'm doing but I have a query and I'm wondering if there's a better way to set this up or if I really just have to duplicate these fields (I'm asking because i've seen a couple of posts that say you shouldn't ever have to duplicate fields...)So, my primary filed are the titles of each book under my agency. I then have views for the marketing info, the primary contract (in my case, UK) info etc.The two elements I'm struggling with are:1) Tracking international deals where there will be several countries which will each then need the same fields so that I can track for instance the contract info from the US, Germany, France etc - other than the language, the info I'll need to pull from each contract will have the same field headings. I could make this a separate table - but I'd really like the financial info to pull through

Hi. I'm struggling with a formula to include a blank attachment field as part of 3 AND conditions. I'm testing this in my base before I put the AND part into a make.com airtable trigger module.At the moment, I have this:  IF( AND( {Ind Doc}!=BLANK(), DATETIME_DIFF( NOW(),{Record Created}, "days" ) >13, DATETIME_DIFF( NOW(),{Record Created}, "days" ) <30), "YES", "NO" ) This works, but ignores the first parameter and returns "YES" even for records that have an attachment in {Ind Doc}(Sorry if syntax for the multi-line formula is incorrect, I'm only just starting to learn to write formulas like this)! 🙂

I have a Long Text column in my table with a lot of text, likely 20K plus pages. I used formulas to clean this text, removing undesirable characters, extra spaces, etc.  Is there any way to copy the contents of the Formula column back to the Long Text column, so that the Long Text column will ahve clean but editable data for future use? While I can copy and past some smaller data sets, when I tried to copy and paste this column, I get a 'too large' error.

We have a rather large table that needs to be updated/inserted with a datefield value from another table. This needs to be done only once.Table 1 is about 30K records.Table 2 is about 120 records.Table 1 (that needs to be updated) is linked to Table 2. I'm pretty sure there is a rather simple solution to this conundrum but I can't figure it out.

I’m trying to create a SWITCH formula checking for specific text within a field. For instance, if there is a field with a bunch of random numbers and then a name, I want to check for the name in that field, not match the entirety of the text in the field.

I'm super new to airtable and I've been searching for the answer to this and I can't seem to find what I am looking for- likely because I don't know the right terminology but I have a table in my base and I want the primary field to auto populate each new record with a number and the year the record was created so that if there are multiple years I can filter them easily later.I figure it's some sort of formula because I know how to make the field auto number, but I can't figure out the formula to do it. Thanks in advance Amy

Hi all,I'm trying to set up a form which has a dynamic appearance depending on the time of day/day of the week.During our working hours I'd like users to be able to submit details through the form in order to receive an urgent response from our clinic team.  Out of hours, I'd like to divert the user to emergency contact details and a link which allows them to book a routine appointment with our team.Any thought on how this could be achieved?Thanks in advance,Laurence

Hi, I don't have much experience with API requests. I am trying to understand how it all works. I am currently using Node-RED (visual Node.js) to process the requests. I was able to complete a GET request and i'm now trying to do a PATCH request to update data in Airtable.I get the following error message when trying:type: "INVALID_REQUEST_MISSING_FIELDS"message: "Could not find field "fields" in the request body" Here is the schema in question:I am unsure where the API is expecting the request body.Here is my test JSON:{    "fields": {        "CCISF": 5,        "CORAMH": 5,        "RJCCQ": 5    },    "typecast": true} Do I have to include all fields present in the table or only those i wish to update with the PATCH request? Thank you.

I'm using my airtable to attached keywords images. I have one big keywords table with multiple categories of different keywords. Then i have multiple linked columns to the different categories. However some of the keywords overlap into different categories.So I thought I could rollup all my linked columns and do something like this:  ARRAYUNIQUE(ARRAYJOIN(ARRAYJOIN({RollUp1}) & IF({RollUp2}, ',' & ARRAYJOIN({RollUp2})) & IF({RollUp3}, ',' & ARRAYJOIN({RollUp3})))) However I still have duplicates of keywords in my final array. Does anyone know how I can join my rollups and then filter out all the duplicates? 

Hi Everyone,I am sure this is a common question, but I can't seem to find it... When staff join they have a 3 month/6month and 9 month review. They then have their Annual review (which is always 1 year after their 3 month review). They then have a mid term review and an annual review. My question is...Is there a script/formula that takes the last date entry in Person A's row and creates a date that is 6 months after it so I can then run an email automation 2 weeks prior to that date to remind Person A  their review is coming up. In my example below (DATE FORMAT IS EUROPEAN) As you can see Person B has been employed longer so they are further down the chain they have just had their Y2 annual review and so their Y2 mid term would be 6 months from then (ie 22/7/2024).Person A's however is still in Y1 and has just had their mid term so they are due their Annual review on 6/5/2024.So each row will be a different person who will have different dates as they will be at differen

Hello, we duplicated one table from a base to a new base and a field that originally contained images got converted into a text field that contains the file name of the pictures and a URL. Is there a way to do duplicate the table without this happening?
