Using 'To' Email Address in a Email Automation as Linked Record Email Address

Hello, I have a 'Client' table linking to another table that holds information about Event Labor. From the Event Labor table, I am trying to send an automated email to the client (email address linked from its own table.) When creating the action, the 'Email (from Client table)' is an option, and then I have the choice Linked Record ID or Value. I assumed to use Value but neither choice is working. Vacation Request Form & Balance Monitoring

Hello there! I've built a Base to track "Vacation Requests" and 'balance vacation days' in two simple tables:1) Staff: where fields are name, email, role, hired date, accrued days (formula based on hired date), used days (roll up from the sum of all approved vacation requests), balance days (accrued-used).2) Vacation Request: where fields are req. id (formula), name (linked from staff table), email (linked from staff table), start-date, end-date, requested days (formula), status, duration (formula, only populate if status approved, this field is used on a roll up in the 'staff' table). Up to there, everything's perfect. Where I'm stuck is how to keep track once the 12 month period is reset for each team member. Picture below illustrates an example:   Technically, for that team member that used 27 days already, now "his" calendar starts all over again, and he now should have 28 days available. Multiple Records, Sum by Individual

Hi Everyone,i am new to Airtable and try to build a small solution for our cycling club. We like to keep track of group rides, so i have three tables:Members (List of all Members)Routes with the fields:NameDistanceRecords with the fields:Member (multiple records, from Members table)Route (from Routes table)DateI have a form there a member can create a records and add a records for a group ride on a date and can select multiple members who joined the ride. Does EVERY instance of a single record, across numerous views, each count toward the base max?

HelloWe have 50,000 max record limit on our plan.On our settings page, it says we're up to 35,500+ records thus far.However, when I manually look at all our master tables of data, it only ads up to 28,000So I'm wondering where is that 7,500 record discrepancy is coming from?If I have ONE record in my master table that shows up in 10 other views, does that single record actually count as 11 records?? (in the master table + the 10 other views)I always assumed that views simply pull select filtered items from the master record set and didn't count toward the base record max, since they are just regurgitating data that already exists, and not adding more data rows. Is that incorrect thinking?Thanks.

2-way sync - Send data back to source

Hello!I have 2 bases with a table that has two-way synchronization.In the destination base I have added many formulas to calculate prices and costs.Now I need to return the final result value to the source table.I tried using automations, but using "Update Rung" is not allowed in these syncs.I also tried with formulas, but it is not possible.Is there a way to do it within Airtable?The other option is to use third-party tools, such as Make or Zapier, but I prefer to avoid that for now.

Formula Date fields broken - what to update?

Hello! We were previously using this formula to calculate a recurring date in the future: DATEADD("Publish Date", 7, "days")  However, we're now getting an #Error Message in our base.  I did some searching and found this blog from Airtable.  I tried using their exact formula in that blog as: DATEADD({Publish Date},7,‘days’) but it is telling me "Sorry there was a problem saving this field. Invalid formula. Please check your formula text"  Can anyone help me with what the correct formula is now? I am so lost....

One Contact, Multiple Roles, Different Status Per Role

Help! We are a Charity that trains Assistance Dogs for Autistic Families. I have a table with ALL the people that have ever had to do with thecontact/dealings with charity at some point... however, this is my dilemma:Mr X is currently a 'Volunteer' and a 'Subscriber' but he used to be a 'Fostererer' so his Contact Type is currently a multiple select field where all three are listed. BUT it doesn't tell me which Type is active and I have been asked to show who's doing what currently and not previously. What do I need to do to my base to identify that Mr X has 'Active' status on both Volunteer and Subscriber but 'Inactive' status for Fostererer.

Import a template from another user

Hello,We are one of many Homeshare programs in California, that operate out of different agencies with different tracking systems etc. but we try to collaborate across programs with the understanding that we all are working towards the same end goal.Another program showed us how they use Airtable to track their participants, and their workflow is very similar to ours. They built the database themselves, with much research, tutorials etc.Would it be possible to import the structure of their database to use it on our end, without any of their clients' info? Formula to display most recent input based on multiple field

Hi there - I am looking to create a column that will essentially lookup the field values of columns Q1 - Q4 and output the latest number.We input quarterly projections and want to be able to identify the most recent number by looking at 1 field ("latest projections"). *Note - not all fields will have data from Q1 - Q4.I tried using the IF function but that only seems to work with 2 different fields max. ( IF(Q2> " ", Q2, Q1) )If I have data entered in Q1 field and then in Q3 enter in new data in the respective Q3 field, I want the "Latest projections" column to display that Q3 field since it its the most up to date #.I hope this makes sense. I will attach a screenshot for reference where I manually updated the "Latest Projection" field.

Some help with a (simple?) script for adjusting a time datefield in automation

Hi, I'm really new to scripting and despite a bit of ChatGPT help, I haven't got anything to work yet. Urgent Help Needed: Image urls from airtable disappear in Mailchimp campaign after few hours

I have a table in airtable with a field called 'Logos' which is of type: Attachment. I am using Make integromat to pull the logo urls which get populated in the Mailchimp Create Campaign module (that uses HTML layout). When I see the campaign being created , I see the logos but after a few hours I see that the same campaign does not show the images. Is there a reason for this? Please let me know if there is a resolution to this.  Thanks in advance!

Interface Inactive?

Hello everyone. Looking for a way to share an interface form (registration for one of our programs) but  not allow submissions yet. We want to promote the program, show where to register but we do not want to allow submissions to the program for about a month.  Any advice?

Zapier: emails with attachments

Hi all 🙂 I made a zap between Outlook and Airtable, forwarding emails. Works perfectly, until comes attachment in the email. One attachment is OK, but when it is more then one, it can not be transfered. Anyone with similar experience, maybe a solution?Thanks ahead, have a nice day.Imelda

Post comment/question to customer request(submitted via form) directed by client for prompt action

Hello,After the customer submits a request form to the client for order fulfilment, if the client has a follow-up question for the customer - Is there a feasibility/workaround to submit a comment/question on the request so that it can be re-directed to the customer for further clarifications/information? Can somebody suggest a workaround? Creating a new form when a record is created

I'm looking to run a script when a record is created which would created a new form for that individual record. I need to do this because when clients will be using the forms, I can't have them be able to add data to other clients so by default I'm creating a form with the default values that can't be changed. Does anyone have a better solution to this problem or is there a way to do this?

Add new columns based on import

I have a base that is designed to be refreshed with data from a CSV file periodically. It has about 140 fields right now and I need to add approximately 50 more. I would like to be able to do this using the CSV Import app, but I can’t find a way to have it load data into existing fields AND add new columns to the base at the same time. I have field descriptions entered for most of the existing fields, which is a big reason why I don’t want to just start over with a new import to create the new fields. If I could get and set field descriptions via API, that would be another route to my goal, but I haven’t found any evidence that’s possible. Am I stuck adding the new fields one by one or is there another way? Thank you for any light you can shed.

Ability to see the information on 'Saved' forms started by my customers but not submitted yet

Hi, I want to know if:1) Are there are any extensions that would help me with the ability to see the 'saved' information on the lengthy forms started by my customers but not submitted yet?2) Can one customer start multiple forms and save and come back to complete the form at a later time? Example: Adding multiple employees information one at a time by filling up a form for each employee.Thanks!
