Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside a remarkable team to rethink how software should work in the era of AI. Today, I’m thrilled to share what we’ve built—and what it means for the future of work. We’re entering a new era—one where every team, in every organization, is expected to harness AI to move faster, operate smarter, and deliver more with less. At Airtable, we’ve been building toward this moment, and I’m proud to announce the launch of the AI-native Airtable platform which will begin rolling out to customers today. This is the most significant evolution in Airtable’s history—and it redefines what it means to build and scale software in the age of AI.

Now Available for All Customers who can use ScriptingWe're excited to announce the general availability of Secrets for Automations! You can now securely store and use sensitive information like API keys, passwords, and tokens in your Automation scripts without exposing them in plain text.Why Secrets MatterWhen connecting to external services in Run Script Actions, you may need to include sensitive credentials directly in your script code. This created potential security risks, as anyone with Editor access to your base could view these credentials.With Secrets, you can now:Store sensitive information securely in Builder Hub Share access selectively with specific user groups (for customers on Business and above) Use the same secrets across multiple bases and automations Prevent unauthorized viewing of secrets or editing

Hey Airtable Community! We're excited to announce an upcoming change that will streamline your experience within our vibrant community. Effective June 2nd, the Airtable Community will exclusively support login via Single Sign-On (SSO). This means the option to log in with a separate username and password will no longer be available after this date. What does this mean for you?This transition to SSO will provide a more unified login process. We believe this change will ultimately benefit everyone in the community. How do you swap over to SSO?The good news is that for most of you, the switch will be completely seamless! If the email address you currently use for your Airtable Community profile matches the email address associated with the SSO login you use to access Airtable, you won't need to do anything special. We’re excited to  launch a couple of new features for Managed Apps and components to expand where and how you can use them.Use Managed components with your existing tables and fieldsThis is a new capability that allows you to incorporate Managed components into existing workflows. While installing a Managed component, you’ll be able to reference existing tables and fields instead of always creating new ones. Everything else in the managed component will work seamlessly with these substitutions, so you won’t have to rewire your base.Note: For existing Managed components, you’ll have to publish a new version of the component to your App library before this feature will become a
