I'm trying to create a simple contact database of names.  When I have several names that happen to be related (ie of the same family), I'd like to link each of them to each other to show those relationships.  I can create a link to other people in the same table ("People") for example John Doe is related to Jane Doe, but when I go to Jane Doe, I don't see the relationship to John Doe.  It doesn't seem to be two-way.  Am I missing something?

If my event is September 2, 2025 (aka "program start date"), it would be in Quarter 3, 2025. But I need to list that commission would be paid the following quarter (aka "quarter earned", so Q4, 2025. Fiscal year runs Jan - Dec like the calendar.I currently have the formula (see below), but its marking everything in FY 2024. instead of in the appropriate next quarter. Hi there, I am hoping that someone will be able to help me with this interesting little problem. I have a table as a "reference table" which allows me to set fees globally across the base so if a fee for tables goes up I can change it across all records. That same table contains other fees such as fee for square footage used elsewhere.In the table "Bookings", the second table, where the reference field is then used, I would like the ability to auto pull through the value field based on the lookup value. Example below. In "Reference Table" the fee for tables is 12.00 In the "Booking Table" I have the link value as the Reference Field "Table Fee" and the lookup value of "Value"All of this works fine but in the Reference Field, I would like that to be able to populated with the "Table Fee" so that the value pulls through also. Is there a way to do this?The option for pre selecting a value that appears in other fields

I am trying to sort by the Week # of the year that an entry is assigned on my base. Its sorted by year, then by week - so 2024, week 1 through 52, etc.However, for anything this week up until the 31st, its showing up as the 1st week of Dec 2024 (which confuses me as you would think it'd be 1st week of 2025?). I would like that to show up as the last week of Dec 2024 (week 52) or even Week 1 2025.Formula is:WEEKNUM((Assigned), "Monday") It is pulling data from the "Assigned" column, which is listed in the format: 12/30/24 11:00amThanks!

Hello community, how would you go about exporting a table or even base's field names and IDs? In an ideal case, I would sync on intervals a sorted list of all fields and their properties, similar to how it's shown under manage fields. Thanks!

Hi again,Is there a way for you to have data from a field "written" to that field and fixed for those changes elsewhere will not affect the result in this field in the future?An example of this might be;A fee in one table is designed to be updated in future years, and that field is referred to in other locations. Once that booking has been confirmed and paid, I want to be able to "fix that price" for that booking so that if the lookup value in the first table changes in future, that the confirmed bookings either do not change or, that a field has been updated which then remains at the agreed price.I hope that makes sense? Thanks S

Hello everyone!I need help with a formula that computes two fields as {field 1}/{field 2}.However, the base is new for my team, and we're working to input backdated data, so some records that use these fields are 0 (zero), at the moment. The formula field that computes the two fields is used on current data, and we'd love to eliminate the infinity returns so as not to interrupt the SUMs we use in other areas of our work.I've played around with several iterations of the formula and solved one to lose another 🤪 The current formula I'm using to keep us sane in the interim is:IF({KGM 500 Total Attendance}>0,{KGM 500 Total Attendance}/{KGM 500 Total Capacity}) 

HelloI would like to build a base where I have tables with planned income, planned cost and summary table that reflects incomes and costs on monthly basis.My question is, if it is possible to take bank balance as a basis for the calculation and calculate Bank balance +income - cost for each record so that the basis for each calculation would be the result of previous row? For clarity, here is how I would like it to work:I have seen some similar questions here as well, but I am not sure if they would work for this use case as well.Thank you in advance.  

Im new to airtable and make.com so forgive me if this is a elementary question...I setup an automation that has a Stripe webhook to monitor for payments and then update a record when there is a payment but I cant get it to update the record. It can find the record no problem but when it gets to the update module it gives me an error.Bellow is the log and setup of the update module. What am I doing wrong?Thanks in advance!   

I need to automatically trigger a script that makes use of `Field.updateOptionsAsync`to add options to my single-select field. I first wrote this as an automation script so I could easily set up a trigger, but saw this API is only allowed in scripting extensions. So then, I wrote it as a script extension and couldn't figure out how to automatically trigger it to run. So then I found out about block-cli and released the extension to my base because I misunderstood that `block run --remote` does not run the extension remotely, leaving me with 2 extensions that do the exact same thing. So:Is it possible to run extensions remotely / trigger them to run automatically? How so if it is?Can we get the ability to use `updateOptionsAsync` in an automation script?Is there yet another way to achieve what I am trying to do? 

First using airtable but profecient in Python, SQL and some JavaScript/Vue3.js for house needs. I dont consider this a "complex problem", but havent been able to crack it in Airtable env. only.I have a scenario where i want to dynamically control form field visibility based on "boolean" values from another table. Hi Airtable Community - I am fairly new to Airtable.  A couple of months developing. Have a few questions below.  Many thanks in advance for any guidance provided.Q1: Need to merge two bases - what is the way to go?  The chatbot mentioned scripts to bring data over and sharing the tables from one base to another.  I would like to merge the two into one Master one and not lose existing comments in any records, any history or scripting/automation in either.  Is there a way to do this? Q2: How do I see/query the backend table structure in Airtable via  SQL? In attempting to learn how to use this new Beta feature, I’ve created a bunch of test interfaces that I’d now like to get rid of, but how? For the likes of me, I just cannot find where it’s possible to delete an interface. Thanks in advance to anyone who might help. When I do a rollup to get the unique documents, it is correctly retrieving just the unique values - but while a lookup brings up the actual attachment documents, the rollup displays Airtable's Internal URL for the document.How do I then retrieve the document?   

I have a few currency fields that I am adding up in a simple formula field. I am then trying to display the output of that formula field within a text string I am building with another formula. However, I’m getting some strange decimals when showing the numbers.In an effort to troubleshoot this, I create a new blank Airtable base for testing and I’m getting the same result. Hi all, New to Airtable and trying to find a way to do the following:We have an existing base with all projects as a furniture staging company. These projects are based on addressesEach project has inventory associated with it in a separate Excel doc at the momentWe want to now add the inventory associated with each project in Airtable without having to manually add each item one by one to each projectThe excel would have the project title + associated inventory in individual rows. Is there an easy way for the import to recognize the project title (address) and then easily "assign" the inventory name and QTY to that project title?  

Trying to figure out how to do a search to see if a number falls within 2 fields.For example a field with Start year and a field with End year.  Lets say on one record my start year was 1978 and my end year was 1986.  I would like to do a search for 1983 and have it retrieve that record.  Can someone point me in the correct direction??

Hey all, just trying anything at this point, I have an airtable Team account that was made forever ago, and was grandfathered into the $10/mo plan. I accidentally aded a billable user but then removed them, but the system kept trying to bill for it, and not my account is cancelled, along with the money I have already paid, and the $10/mo plan I had.I have emailed half a dozen times now over a month and no response, and my account is going to get shut down.Anyone here that can help?

HI folks, trying to create a record review and dash board in interfaces. I am in editable mode. However I cannot add, change, move or colour elements. The '+' sign at the bottom left corner of the screen does not appear so I cannot even create new elements.  I am an 'owner' of the base so I should be able design and edit interfaces. Any signposts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
