Hi, I am having trouble creating an automation to update a record in a table. When I try to set up the "Find Record" step, I'm getting an error that "cannot assign list of string to string" and I don't know how to proceed or how to fix my data set up in order for the automation to work.The issue (I think) is that in the table I'm trying to update has a linked field which is the unique identifier I need for the automation to find the value I want to add to the table I am updating.  I'll try to explain the data structure and what I'm trying to do. Table 1: ContractsTable 2: Contract Items (this is a list of "products" th

Hi Some of my team are having trouble clearly viewing what days / weeks the records are in within the TIMELINE view as it feels like there should be gridlines or at least column lines, not just the blue 'today' vertical line.Is there a way to toggle these lines on or off does anyone know, or would anyone want this feature too?TIACharlie

Is it possible to delay an action from happening? I really like Slack notifications for new records, but I’d like the action to wait say, 1 minute after the record is created so that I can finish adding all of the fields. Is that possible?

I've searched on the community for solutions to combining one field that contains a date and another field with a duration to create a datetime field, but haven't come across any solutions to solve it. I'm using the DATEADD() formula but Airtable is not returning a correct results. What am I missing?

I’m trying to expand a base we use as a booking system for photography sessions but feeling stuck. In our current system, users fill out an Airtable form with their contact info and select a time slot (field linked to a table of time slots, filtered by what’s still available). That info generates records in the main Appointments table. This system has worked well so far, as we’ve only been offering slots with one photographer at one location. We’ve been offering 30 slots per day and about 3 different dates at a time, so at most the user sees 90 options, which is more than ideal but has worked ok. Now we’d like to offer 5 dates, but more critically, we want to add a second photo station in a different location on the same dates. That means the user will now be selecting a time slot from a field with 300 options, and there will be two slots for each date and time (eg 10A Monday @ Location A vs. 10A Monday @ Location B). Hi everyone!I created a base for employees in our company with the table where are all information about every employee. I also created a form to update those information if necessary. I prefill all the fields and create a button field so that i can quickly open the form. But somehow that button doesn't work with some of the employee. they were added after I created this button. Hello, I am really thrilled with exploring the features of this new and game-changing Airtable functionality. I think it would be super useful to my team which deals with hundreds of social media posts per month created and edited by several of our departments. To give this a go, I started by creating an interface which would help our education department organize their programs and link social media requests to records another table - I already have all that setup. Where I am stuck on, is on the ability of creating a new record from the interface itself (i.e. create a new upcoming program from the interface where I am browsing the programs). I cannot find an element such as “add new record” or for that matter “delete record”. Do we have to go back to the regular grid-views to add or delete records? That sounds a bit convoluted… I am loving the new feature and I understand that it is in Beta, but I really want to use it to its fullest and would love any suggesti

Is it possible to add logo in Interface Form?

In the Change Request form I've created, users can enter information about a change request -- item, change type, notes, screenshots, etc -- and then they can use a multiple select dropdown to choose up to four Regions where the changes should apply.I'm using a Repeating group to cycle through the Regions input to create a separate record for each Region. 4 Regions chosen, 4 rows, 3 Regions chosen, 3 rows, etc. Beautiful! The trouble is, it also creates a single row with ALL 4 or ALL 3 regions etc on it. How do I stop that?

I set prefill data for certain columns and created form for other fields. On entering form data, new row is created but these prefill records returned empty. I thought new row will contain prefill data regardless of how it is created. I referred this for temp solution: Can I prefill a portion of a form?

I need my company logo to appear in every record in a table so that I can have it appear on the sales brochure I create in extensions (unless someone can explain how to do this using the static element there but I can't find a way to attach it there).Is there a way (possibly an automation?) to have that field auto-fill with the attachment whenever a new record is created? Thank you

I added a button field to my interface but it’s not clickable. I don’t see an option to make it editable when I go to the properties to try to configure. I’m assuming this is a bug — buttons would be handy to include on an interface!

We've been wrangling with this for some time. At first I thought it was a laptop vs iPad issue, but today I confirm that it is not - it seems like a bug. Appreciate anyone who can help, please. I created a dropdown selection in the Interface. And whenever I need a new option, I simply type in the new value and the Add Option comes up. However, my user does not have the add option. See pics attached.  

I have monthly price lists that I'm looking to combine into a "master" combined price list.  The appended base provides 3 monthly price lists, along with a 4th table that exemplifies the desired output table.  In the "Combined Price List - Desired Output" table, a field is allocated to each of the respective monthly price lists.  I'm looking for a way to automate the creation of the 4th table.  Ideally, the 4th table would update if the monthly price list tables are updated.  Base Link

I want to give one link to my users that will help them fill out two forms with pre-filled fields in them. The first form would have pre-filled in field called ProgramID. I'd like it to redirect (or have a button to) a second form with the same ProgramID pre-filled.  I can't for the life of me figure this out even thought this was a pretty straightforward feature on Typeform.  Any one have a solution? I just would really prefer having one flow vs. having to share two different links. Thank you so much!

I have an automation that runs a script to trigger a webhook in Power Automate.  This correctly pushes the Expiring URL to Flow.My next step however doesn't work. PA seems to want a filename in the path URL. Airtable doesn't generate the URL like that.Is there a way to reformat the expiring URL to have a ".jpg" at the end? 

Is it possible to prefill a form with an attachment field so an image renders on the form? I see this question has been asked twice but no one answered. If possible, it would save us soooo much time.

Hi,Haven't worked with Airtable for a while, so have missed a lot of updates. I need to build a base where over 200 records needs review and given input for potential change. There is multiple reviewers, and I need to track which reviewer ok'ed or suggested change for what.200+ records would obviously be an endless form, so I am looking at Interfaces and the new Record Review, which seems promising, but I can't figure out how to allow multiple reviewers to give separate input?The reviewers are external, but could be onboarded to Airtable. Ideally, I'd like to use a form to populate a 'reviewer' table with information, and then automate a link to the Record Review. Hoping for input, thanks!
