Hi, I want to write a script that automatically deletes duplicates as soon as something new is added to the table. Basically it should work similar to the Dedupe extension, but be automated to save time.I only want to delete rows which are identically in each field. It's my first time trying to automate a function with Airtable. I would appreciate if any one has some ideas how to get started with the script or maybe has even written something similar before.Thank you for your help!

I am attempting to build a Crypto Liquid Pool tracker and trying to figure out my base design.I'm not sure if anyone on Airtable has done anything like it. If so, I would love to hear your opinions and what your base/ schema looks like. For those unfamiliar, it would be something similar to this.In adition to that, I would need, on occasion perform some of these tasks: and provide "Position value", "Fee Value", "Token Price" for each asset, "Transaction Fee", and status if Out of Range or In Range

I am trying to link a note to a record but I've gotten error codes that always change even when I perform the same action. I've tried using different browsers, clearing cache and cookies, clearing history. Nothing works. I've submitted a ticket to AirTable but I have yet to hear from them. Nobody else internally is experiencing this. 

Can anyone recommend an Airtable Consultant, preferably in the UK, who can help me with some fairly simple formulas which for some reason, I cant work out why, are not working and/or producing missing data in some rows. I feel very scrooge-like and miserly saying this, but its the reality: I work for a charity so they cannot be too expensive. But I would be very grateful if somebody could help me. I have designed a multi-layered survey that evaluates the diffferent well-being dimensions of our clients and if I cant get it working soon I fear my project will be binned and I will be devastated as I've already done a lot of research and learnt airtable especially from scratch just do this- plus I love Airtable. So if somebody could help me that would be brilliant.

I've been trying to get this to work using a formula but haven't figured it out...What i want: I have a table that contains 1000 records, 12 of which i'm displaying on the web frontend via softr.io. Now what i want is to randomize the 12 records that will be displayed. This does not necessarily need to be randomized each time the page is refreshed/the API call to retreive the records is made. It could also randomize every minute or so.I guess randomisation on refresh/load would have to be made via the API call somehow. But if the API call always retreives records based on a static filter, I would have to randomize the results that the filter retreives on the Airtable side.Any idea how to do this?One simple solution I thought of which should semi-randomize every time the result of NOW() is updated in Airtable: Number records with autonumber. Take the seconds from NOW() and calculate based on the second (which is a value between 0 and 60) which block of 12 records should be taken. I.e. i

I have a table "Products" and a table "Artworks". The Product table has a lookup field to the Artworks table. In this lookup field, I assigned multiple Artworks to each Product (e.g. "Product 1" has assigned "Artwork A", "Artwork B", "Artwork C", and "Artwork D").Product 1 can only go into production once all Artworks assigned to Product 1 have approval status "Approved".In the Products table, I added a rollup field that shows the records from the "Approval Status" field from the "Artworks" table. I am new to scripting in Airtable and am receiving "Received malformed JSON input." every time I try to validate my JSON. I am facing issue in Files Table. I have column name “File” ,I did the setup to get the size using formula, in column “File size” but that is not working now. Can you please help me with this issue? Hi all I’m just getting started with Airtable after seeing a fair few posts telling me I should use it instead of a CRM. I’m here but I’m not seeing what a the fuss is about? Is anyone actually using this as a CRM? As well as using it as a CRM, I want to use it as a marketing tool which I also hear it can do with ease. How do I post to social media from Airtable? There are soooooooo many videos on YouTube but none explain how to actually do it. Are there actually any good tutorials to get started rather than these clickbait ones. Thanks

hi there,I am trying to create a nested IF that checks if four cells are blank, and if they're not, returns the value that's there.When I use the below formula, it only ever checks the first IF, and it's driving me nuts!Can anyone help? Hi,I need to sync an Airtable base with another system via API. Currently, I am using Make/Integromat to run the HTTP request and then iterate through the responses to check Airtable to see if a record exists and then either update it if it does exist, or add a new record if it doesn't already exist. I run this daily. There are about 5,000 records currently, so the automation runs in Make add up each day. Lately, I have been doing more with the native Airtable automations using javascript, and I have an idea to try to use an Airtable automation to sync the data, essentially cutting out the Make scenario. It seems to me that reducing tools would streamline things and make them simpler. My question for you is if you think it is feasible for me to run a daily automation in Airtable that would send an HTTP GET request to the remote system, which will return a big JSON response with all of the remote records and their fields. The automation would then need to updated existing data

👋I have an interface with a grid view. In the view there is a select field. I want user to be able to select one field, copy the field (CMD+C or CTRL+C) and Paste in the same fields of the other recordsOn Mac this works perfectly. CMD+C copies the selected field. With Shift users can select the same fields of the other records in the Grid and with CMD-V they can paste it in However for users using Windows 11 with Edge or Chrome this does not work: CTRL-C is fine (you get a notification that the cell is copies). With Shift you can select the cells of the other records and they are being selected (blue background). However CTRL+V does not work. This works fine in the base. Just not in the interface. Is this a bug or a known limitation? Best Hendrik

Hi, as a result of my trying to execute a solution from previous post, I created a formula to combine name fields. IT cannot figure out what aim doing wrong. IT seems perfectly logical to me. But it does not work. I have posted the formula and a screenshot of the data below.The data is First Name, Last Name, SP First Name, SP Last Name. First Name and Last Name are short text fields. Hi All, I just wanted to ask if you encountered the same issue with using the Airtable api or webhook in Make. So we are using Make.com to Record the data from Go High Level to Airtable. There are times that the run is successful but the data is not in the airtable 

I am creating a table/form to insert log entries into a daily log. It requires a bunch of sub-item data and inserting weather info of the day when the record was created. I was wondering if there is any way to automate inserting that day's weather info (temperature, rain data etc.) into that log when that entry is created (maybe even pulling in the date field and fetching the weather for that day automatically)? I reviewing ideas about using IFTTT or other automations but none seemed to allow for that day's weather info to be inserted into a log entry on record creating easily. Also, as you can see in the screenshot, I have to create a formatted record of multiple sub-items in a longtext field eg. in trade updates. Ideally these should be some form of structured sub-items but I am not sure if there's any way to handle that in this interface or data field (without creating a separate lookup table)...Thanks!

Hello,I have a column in one of my Airtables that contains the date of when a piece of information was published on my site.I am trying to set an automation that looks at each row of my table every day and sends an email if any record i have becomes 60 days after the date I enter in the "Date" column. To test out the automation:I set the date for one of my rows of when it was published to 3/20/2024 (this is now 3 days since that date) i am setting the trigger to just be 1 day after the date.  The condition is "When ["date"] [is after] [number of days ago] [1], send me an emailFor some reason, when i set this all up, it tells me that the table does not contain any records that match the provided filters. I don't quite understand this because in my test above, it is now 3 days after 3/20/24 so based on the conditions i set up, it is at least 1 day after 3/20/24, so shouldn't it return my test record and then be able to send me out a test email?Appreciate any clarifica

Good Afternoon, I am an Administrator for a private education institution and I am curently working on turning my Airtable bases into an interface that our entire team can interact with. I’m working to avoid anyone other than myself and one other Administrator ever having to interact with the typical Airtable bases/grids. The one thing I’m struggling to figure out (I’ve watched all the available videos and livestreams etc and referred to the online help guides). We’ve connected our Twilio account to Airtable via the Apps/Dashboard feature within the base containing all of our contacts. It works just fine, no issues there. What I’m looking to do, is take that Dashboard/App element and add it into the Interface that I’ve set up so that the faculty who interact with the interface only can have access to the Twilio messaging feature. We use it primarily for urgent communications as they arise (weather, health, safety etc), and our class hours are not always within the work hours of the Adm

I think/hope my client's needs are quite straight forward and have outlined them below 1) A full league table, with the following fields: Name, Golf Club, Handicap, Number of 2's this season.2) Needs to be easy to update at any time and sort to show who is in the lead etc3) The ability to create a league within a league to play directly against your friends. So for example the overall league may have 1000 players, and there may be 100 additional private leagues with between 2 and 10 people in each. Hi all, I'm pretty useless with formulae generally and just wondering if anyone can help with this.I'm trying to generate a formula field that is based on a source date. The formula is to calculate 8 months + 23 days from the source date (i.e the 23rd day of the 9th month after my source date).I also want to include an "If" being; If field A is populated, then field C should be the 23rd day of the 9th month after field B.
