Hello,To manage a catalog of goodies for a company, I've started building a database, forms and an interface.The goodies catalog has about 30 items in 3 categories. Some items are textiles with 7 different sizes.The 30 items are common to different entities of the company, but the stocks are different from one entity to another. Hello there, I’ve created a pretty nice base that tracks almost everything necessary about thousands of trees planted on a farm. The base has lots of info from the date of acquisition to genus, species, notes, tons of photos, etc. But the one thing I’m stuck on is this: Since they’re 1000s of trees spread across 20 acres, I need to figure out how to Geo locate each tree or auto tag the geolocation of each tree so I know where it is on the farm. I would like this to be automatically created on a map, something like Google maps with a pin drop that shows me where I can find a plant. Spent some time googling and everything seems to be over my head in understanding how to do this. I’ve read many opinions including having to purchase some map tool from Google clouds and I’m just like “I thought this would be simple but maybe it’s not?” And this is a personal project so not any $ to spend. Hello,I have a Database that includes a table of Users and a Table of inventory (Computers , Monitors, Docking stations and so on).All of our inventory is mapped by serial number.When I give the user a device I assign it to the Air table.I want to have the option to see the assigned history by user or by device.That means if I have a user name Tom, and I gave him on 01/12/2023 a laptop: Lenovo Thinkpad , S/N:ABCD123, and I took it back on 15/01/2024.Let's say I have the record of this computer.Through that record I want to be able to view the computer assigned History- that means when it was assigned and when it was unassigned.  I couldnt find any automatic way to do so, so i want to check how can i develop this module myself.The main result shoul

Hi,I am creating a formula for my fixed field for a sponsor base. Not all sponsors have business names; therefore I am looking for a formula that will be something along the lines of:IF({Business Name (from Contacts)}, {Business Name (from Contacts)}, "{Contacts}"). However, the " " shows up as the physical text rather than what is in the Contacts field.  What should I be doing instead? P

Are empty record fields counted as 'Unique' in the Unique total number? I expect not, but just checking.

Hello! I'm using the Airtable API and I'm encountering an error.I'm making API requests in Node.js with OAuth authentication to retrieve records with applied filters. However, I'm receiving an error message that says 'You should provide a valid API key to perform this operation,' and I couldn't find any information about this error no matter how hard I looked. I have a single table where I have different columns for Town, County, Region etc. I then have a Description field with some generic copy but at the end I want to automatically add the Town name within its row (see image).E.g. Hello. I have used the script extension to get the URL stored in the URL field of the currently selected record. I am using the button field to send the URL to the script but ideally, I would want to just click on a record and the extension identifies the currently selected record. However, when I try to output the URL from the record in an iFrame, I simply get the HTML code for the iFrame in my output. How can I display the actual website? I may be going the wrong way around this. I am trying to send records from one table to another as a group of linked records. This automation has brought me to my knees, please help.I'm trying to create a google calendar event for a session booked from a start time to end time. The automation fails because it's unable to parse datetime: " "This is my flow:1. I enter the date and time in text format (Text date)- 3 April, 2024 at 17:002. Then convert the above to date format using Datetime parse formula - 4/3/2024 17:00(formula - DATETIME_PARSE({Text date},'D MMM YYYY at HH:mm') 3. Then I convert this to ISO format using Datetime formula - 2024-04-03 17:00:00.000(formula - DATETIME_FORMAT({parsed and formatted date},"YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss.SSS") What i get in step 3 is what is entered as start time in the automation. Similarly the end time is calculated using three steps. 

i have a linked record field that links to another table. the linked field in Table A does NOT have the "allow linking to multiple records" toggled on. The corresponding field in Table B also does NOT have the "allow linking to multiple records" toggled on. and yet, i can link to multiple records. In Table B, i can select a record in Table A that already has a different record linked from Table B. Then when i go over to Table A, i have two records linked in a field that is clearly not supposed to allow this. is this a known issue? is there a way to prevent it? if it is a known bug/"feature", are there standard suggestions for ways to work around it? i don't want to try and work around it, if i can just prevent it. but if it can't be prevented, what is the point of offering that toggle option at all?!

Hi, I have a formula that averages 2 ratings fields. I wish the formula field would show stars instead of numbers. Is there a way to do this with the rating field? Or with a more complex formula? See my current screenshot below.

Primary field 'Total' pick list choices at the bottom is blocked by the '+' sign for add records.When I hover over the area to the right of the total 312 records number in this base an area behind the '+' sign is also displayed or highlighted, but I can't see what is there. I have an inventory tracking challenge that I’m having difficulty with In my line of work clients order resources. Each resource contains a number of items from my stock room. I want to track inventory of items automatically based on resource orders that clients make. I think I need a formula that says "hey! a resource has been ordered.That resource contains items A,B,C…Let’s subtract “quantity items used” from “item inventory level.” Note: The quantity of items used will vary based on the number of participant the client wants to use the resource for. I haven’t gotten very far with this but the image below gives you the idea. I want to subtract 40 from the stock levels contained within records 114, 110, 107, 105, 104 and 112. I’ve learned a lookup isn’t the way to go but now I’m stuck.

Hey all.I'm looking to automate a task based on # of projects included in a record.The above is a listing of test courses.  The are marked for the trigger conditions, and should be the only records that are created into the Project Production Table. I'd had a simple automation that did this perfectly.  However, I'm needing it modified to where it will now create new records based on the # of projects in that field:Here's the automation setup:

React devtools used to be found in the "Advanced" tab while developing a custom extension.  They no longer are and I heard that they got removed for maintenance difficulties.Can you please bring them back or somehow give us a workaround for using the standalone version?If you want developers to make extensions for the Airtable community that are good, this will help us do that better/faster 🙂

Hi there, We have a questionnaire for our clients to fill out where they deposit links to their corporate materials (decks, etc). These are hyperlinks in the table where we collect them, but we would like to be able to reference these on another table (via a linked record). Problem is... when we link those records, they appear on the second table as plain text, without hyperlinks. Am I screwed? Or is there a workaround that someone knows and can share?

Hello-I have a lookup cell that is pulling data from multiple cells. The results are showing a list of topics. The topics are repeated (as they're pulling from different cells). You can see, for example, that "Space" is being pulled multiple times. Is there a way to tell it to only list topics that haven't been listed, meaning only unique topics (not duplicates)?  Thanks in advance!!

Safari v14.1.2 To the right of a table where it says ‘add or import’ the add or import is flickering and quickly. It started on one base and has spread to another. What can i do to stop it happening and annoying my eyesight. (Uploading a screenshot is pointless as it won’t capture the flickering, rather I’d have to time the screenshot to coincide which at the speed of flicker could take ages. )

I have a table that is creating a record for each client that completes a form. I have another table on the same base which is a synced google drive table with all client folders. Is there a formula/automation I can use to link the "open in google drive" button from the synced drive table to the client table?
