Hi @dashler78 experts,I have an interface which has a dropdown and a button. When a user chooses a value from the dropdown and clicks on the button, an automation script runs doing the following1. It saves the value chosen in the dropdown.2. Updates 'Created By' as 'Automations'.I want the script to even update another field say 'User' with the user object (of the person who actually clicked the button).Is there a way to input the actual user object using automation script?I saw that I am able to get 'email id' , 'id' - which is usrXXXXXXXXXX and name. However what I actually want in the field is the complete user object which is similar to how 'Created By' and 'Modified By' fields look. Hello everyone, I am having some issues working on a script that I made using Copilot. Here's the reason why I am making it: I have a base which is composed of two tables: Table A and B. I am doing this because, in my company, we review conversations from customer service in order to improve it. Basically, Table A is composed of a form, and we get to see the results to the different questions and one big score (which is a formula field). I made Table B, so a second team can work on conversations which have a QA Score below 80. To do this, I need to create an automation which is composed of 3 steps: 1. When a record is updated in Table A (the QA score appears after grading the conversation)2. Hello! I am running into an issue automating an email notification when the date column is changed from one date to another. I have the automation set up so that when the date column is changed and the status is 'Sent', the email is triggered. The issue is that the email is getting sent every time the date is changed (including when the date is entered initially).The only workaround I've figured out so far is to set it up so that the record must match Status = Sent and Date is changed and we enter the date column second, but that leaves room for user error. Is there a way to ensure that that the email is sent only when the date column is updated from not empty?

Hi, So I’m using PHP which has this functionality built in (basically I give it a number and it converts it to how I would like it…) specifically I’m in Australia but the format I’ve chosen to go with is like this: +61415932797 so let’s break this down +61 = country code 415932797 < number obviuosly In Australia though when you call someone on mobile you dial 04… so it would be like 0415932797 if that makes sense (since you don’t use country codes when dialling within the country)… so I’ve got a bunch of these mobiles like this in my AirTable: 0402 930 888 - like this which I want to convert to +61402930888 - as you can see no spaces (random spacing in my original) - ideally also skip any fields that have text in them but that’s an easy thing… so… yeh long story short how do I regex 04 01 933 833 to +61401933833 also keep in mind a number could all ready be country code… but then aga

My users are frustrated when they apply a filter, or do a Ctrl-F search for, say "Fried" and it returns all occurrences of that string, such as "Friedman", rather than the word on its own. Any ideas? Hi!I have the tables "units" "location," and "event."Events have a lookup field to location, and a location has multiple units. What I want to acheive is to create an automation so that when a record is created in event, a new event for evry unit in that location.I started, but seem to be stuck onTo give an example:Units are lightbulbs, locations are buildings and events are service missions. A user can change one or all lightbulbs in a location via a form as part of a service misson. If the user changes all lightbulbs in a location I want to create a new record for each of the lightbulbs in that location.The point is that it's important to track when the lightbulb last had maintenance.

Should there be a few second pause between multiple triggers? I have 100 records. Every record has a checkbox for approving. Once I check the checkbox an email automation runs. I have an habit of approving multiple records at the same time. Because of that I am not receiving the email. How much pause should be there between 2 triggers in different records?

Hi there, I have a database of social media campaigns with start dates and end dates. I’d like to have both dates add a year when the end date is older than yesterday (so once the campaign ends, it’s automatically set up to happen next year). Ideally, I’d like it to happen once per month, but it can be any trigger. I should add that I’m on the free tier of Airtable I’ve tried a few things, but I can’t seem to get the formula DATEADD({Start Date}, 1, 'years') to work with the automation. Any suggestions?

I have essentially a navigation bar on the top of an interface that has 8 buttons to take you from this interface to my other 8 interface pages. Is there a way to copy them to the other interface pages without having to reconstruct them one at a time on each page? I know that if I wanted to start from scratch I could create the navigation and then duplicate the page as many times as needed and then add the other elements but I already have all the pages built.

Hi. I’m looking for a way to calculate an average time of day for an average start time and average end time. Airtable has the date and time field, and the time duration field, butI need the average start time and end time, as separate values.I need to accommodate for a start time being before midnight or after midnight.This is to get an average time a person fell asleep (potentially before 11:59 pm or after 12:00 am) and their average wake up time. Based on my pretty thorough knowledge of Airtable, I can’t figure out a way to do this because Airtable’s fields don’t offer you a time of day without a specific date.A more traditional business purpose of this calculation would be calculating a person’s average clock in time and clock out time, as separate values, but still accommodating for before or after midnight, which could be applicable for a business with

i have a sync to jira.. i want to assign an airtable user based on the jira user fieldFor example: if  CM2 field contains John Smith, Mary Jones or Kate Day.. Can i create a formula that assigns John Smith, Mary Jones or Kate Day as an airtable user vs just a text box.. so that they get a notification that work has been assigned.  or does this need to be an automation with a user table?Thank you

Hey there, Is there some way to count the number of entries in a Lookup field in the same table? I have a Lookup field called ‘Roles’—it references another field on the same sheet called ‘Movies’ and spits out a list of acting credits associated with those movies. I need to count how many credits there are, but the ‘Roles’ field doesn’t appear as an option in the Count drop-down. Is there some other way to do this? A formula maybe? Any help appreciated! I am building out a process to make billing time and invoicing easier.  Unfortunately the formula I'm using either results in $1 or a total that's completely incorrect. How in the world is it calculating $216? Should be 7 * $33.33=$233.31

Any idea how to get a formula for a record detail within a record detail in the interface?CONCATENATE("https://airtable.com/app/pag/" & RECORD_ID()) SO I have list, I want the formula to take me to that list in the interface, then to the record detail and then to another record detail within the first record detail - make sense? Basically, switching to the interface, having issues with email automations taking to a specific record detail, since before we could direct right to a view in the data layer base. I have a very simple interface, which just shows a list of fields.Whenever I load the interface fresh, the fields appear to have errors (see below):When I enter the interface editor, these errors disappear and the fields appear as normal.When I exit the interface editor, the fields continue to act normally until I close the page and revisit it later (then the errors reappear again).Inspecting the elements that give errors doesn't seem to reveal anything configured incorrectly.Does anybody have any idea what's happening here?

I have been building a income and expense tracking base for myself that has evolved from a Google Sheet. Thus far I am loving the Airtable features and am anxiously awaiting a plotting solution. I have a question about implementing main categories and sub categories. For each expense I have defined main categories and sub categories. I have currently implemented this by creating separate tables within my base. One for main categories and one for sub categories and then linking to them within my main table. My problem is that my design requires that each sub category belongs to only a single main category however I have to manage that manually as I do not know how to explicitly restrict that relationship. Thus far it works as I am the only one that uses the base and know which sub categories belong to which main category. I would however like to share the input responsibilities with other

Hello,I am creating a base for performance reviews. Individuals receive Case Review scores (based on a form submission) in one table and then those scores are tabulated in a second Cumulative Scores table. My tables are linked. When I initially created my rollup fields in the Cumulative Scores table, I was able to pull the info from the Case Reviews table and populate my rollup without issue. Now when new forms are submitted, those rollup fields are not updating. I have tried adding lookup fields and automations, but I can't see to get it functioning. Can anybody help me resolve this issue?       

I would like to extract the months from dates in a multiselect field. If I use Month(Months) I get NaN, If I use DATETIME_FORMAT(Months, 'MMMM') I get #ERROR!.  Anyone know how to do this?  Thanks, Scott

Hello, I have a 'Client' table linking to another table that holds information about Event Labor. From the Event Labor table, I am trying to send an automated email to the client (email address linked from its own table.) When creating the action, the 'Email (from Client table)' is an option, and then I have the choice Linked Record ID or Value. I assumed to use Value but neither choice is working.
