I feel like I'm either being stupid or something odd is happening regarding LIST VIEWS.In my Interface, I can add a LIST VIEW and add levels and it works fine.  My table has a Providers Table at the top, linked to Payroll Table, linked to Transactions.  works as expected.BUT, in my Providers TABLE, when I add a LIST VIEW and try to add Levels, it ONLY shows the ability to add levels ABOVE, not below, like it does in the Interface.  There are no levels ABOVE, as Providers is the top. Why does this work fine in Interfaces but not in table views???

We are currently using Airtable Team and have  a billing question. So our team devolved 2 interfaces. 1 for managers and another for HR. Managers are only collaborators in the manger interface. would we still be billed the full amount of 20 USD per collaborator even though they don't have full access? 

Hello there! I've built a Base to track "Vacation Requests" and 'balance vacation days' in two simple tables:1) Staff: where fields are name, email, role, hired date, accrued days (formula based on hired date), used days (roll up from the sum of all approved vacation requests), balance days (accrued-used).2) Vacation Request: where fields are req. id (formula), name (linked from staff table), email (linked from staff table), start-date, end-date, requested days (formula), status, duration (formula, only populate if status approved, this field is used on a roll up in the 'staff' table). Up to there, everything's perfect. Hi, Zapier pulls in employee leave when its added to a google calendar. Employees can take time off in half-day increments. If the start date is 21st Feb 2020 2pm and the end date is 24th Feb 6pm that should come out as 1.5 days holiday. (date diff ingnoring the weekend). I think I can see how to add in UK holidays but is there a good way to take the time of day into account so a morning or afternoon is counted as a half day? Thanks!

Hi, I have a table with a single select field called “Status” that has 3 values (Pending, Refused, Granted) I want that every new record to be receiving default “Pending” value and i also want to be able to change it afterwards to either Refused or Granted. Thank you

Hi - desperately need help in figuring out what in the world is not working. I am creating a production timeline where the campaign launch is the starting point. From there, I want to count and report certain milestone dates bases on a typical timeline. These milestones are working days (M-F) so not a normal "count backwards". I have several tables in my base.For each table, I import, on a monthly basis, an Excel spreadsheet.Every time, every single time, I have to re-map all the necessary fields (15-20 for each sheet), even though the format/layout of the spreadsheet hasn't changed.I want to know how to avoid having to re-map every time I import an Excel spreadsheet. I want Airtable to remember the mapping it used for that table the last time I imported an Excel spreadsheet.I am NOT looking to import CSV data. If I wanted to do that, I would use the CSV Import app. I don't. I want to import Excel sheets.Can this be done or not?

This is to avoid accidentally modifying cell contents or modifying rows. Often time I was in a table view and the mouse was placed at a cell, and I wasn't careful enough so keystrokes sometimes override the contents of cells. This can happen if you are using hotkeys, e.g. CTRL+C but it's not simultaneously pressed, so a C may replace the cell content you want to copy. If I didn't notice this before I lost the chance to undo, it would be very painful or sometimes even impossible to recover the content. Note this is not the View lock, nor the lock to specific cells. It's also not permission-based locking. Just a fool proof for data integrity.I'm imagining that I can set a table to default lock state, so that any modification in the table view was either not effected or with some warning before taking effect. A user can still modify the content in the row editor. Are there existing features that are similar to this, or can this be a feature request? Thank

I have a customer table and a products table. Under interfaces, I have an Explore / Find Customer grid view. I would like to add a button that opens another page showing all of the products that Customer is linked to. I can already see the related products in the fly-in view, but how do I parse this information to a new page view when I can display it as a grid?

Hello community! I am looking for assistance with the design of a table that involves records with a field linked to other records within the same table. I know how to include differed records in a field but I donk know how to see in the second ones that have been connected. Let's see an example: I have a table with a list of schools. I mark in a field of one of the records (school 1) that collaborates with 2 other schools (school 2, school 3) (I use a field linked to the base that permits multiple records). The question is: how can I see inside the records school 2 and school 3, that they have been linked to the record school 1? Is it a way to get this? Thank you very much Marta

I have an interface that pulls data from our working base.We have recently begun to approach our max limits on that working base. I have duplicated the working base and called that duplicate "Archive01".  I plan to delete all but a year's worth of data from our working base to free up space, leaving the "Archive01" base to contain past historical information.I have an interface that currently looks to the working base to import data and produce charts to assess the past 3 years worth of work. I now need to change that sync to have it pull the data from the "Archive01" base instead so I can maintain all the charts.However, when I go into the sync configurations to change it, I am only allowed to change what VIEW I want to pull data from. I am unable to change the BASE.Any idea how I can keep my interface connected to all that data so I don't have to redo all the charts??

HelloWe have 50,000 max record limit on our plan.On our settings page, it says we're up to 35,500+ records thus far.However, when I manually look at all our master tables of data, it only ads up to 28,000So I'm wondering where is that 7,500 record discrepancy is coming from?If I have ONE record in my master table that shows up in 10 other views, does that single record actually count as 11 records?? (in the master table + the 10 other views)I always assumed that views simply pull select filtered items from the master record set and didn't count toward the base record max, since they are just regurgitating data that already exists, and not adding more data rows. Is that incorrect thinking?Thanks.

I'm using airtable to manage all my seasonal employee hiring. I have one column where from a multiple selection I choose their job title (eg. Camp Ops, Kitchen, or Waterfront). I want another column that show what certification are required based on the job title I selected. I believe this should be a IF or SWITCH formula.Currently I have a working formula that is IF(Job='Camp Ops',"First Aid & CPR" ) But I can't figure out how to get the formula to also be IF(Job='Kitchen',"First Aid & CPR) and IF(Job='Waterfront',"Lifegaurding") and so on.

Hello!I have 2 bases with a table that has two-way synchronization.In the destination base I have added many formulas to calculate prices and costs.Now I need to return the final result value to the source table.I tried using automations, but using "Update Rung" is not allowed in these syncs.I also tried with formulas, but it is not possible.Is there a way to do it within Airtable?The other option is to use third-party tools, such as Make or Zapier, but I prefer to avoid that for now.

Hello Airtable Community,I have 2 tables linked - the common column being "Deal Link" a.k.a "URL" (which is primary in Table 2).I have a script that updates Table 2 via API.The problem is, when updating via API, all the data linked in Table 1 from Table 2 disappears (even when record is unchanged). I'm trying to have the viewer select a job field in a form (post-production, design, etc.)Based on that selection the next entry would be a limited selection of our main record field "primary role" (editor, producer,etc.). I'm able to do this easily, however, if I duplicate this limited selection and change the conditions to another job field (visual arts, culinary) then change the limited selection, the "primary role" field becomes a copy and no longer allows input into the same "primary role" field.Example:'Creative Field' selection (POST-PRODUCTION, DESIGN, etc.)if user selects DESIGN'primary role' selection is limited to those relevant to DESIGN based on conditions met with the selection within 'Creative Field'how can I change those limited 'primary roles' to reflect the other
