So GIFs working on synced view on laptop but not on android. But if view is a shareable link they work? Same data.At mo I created a button back to original as want to edit on phone but mystified why not working. Sure it worked before on Pixel phone but now on Samsung. Any thoughts anyone?

All day it's been 10-15 mins to execute a workflow of a few steps, some scripting, some update record.  Is this isolated or has anyone experienced this today?

HiWe have an Email Tracker table in our base with a lot of data rows, so I want to move that table to it's own base to avoid maxing out our limits too quickly.The Email Tracker table is fairly independent, with the exception of 2 data columns:1 linked records field (linking to the Campaigns table)1 look up field that is pulling in the "campaign owner" from that same Campaigns tableI'm not sure how to best maintain the 22,000 rows of data already linking to the Campaigns table in our primary base.The Email Tracker base will have a Campaigns table that is synced to the original one in our primary base. Hi there,I have a registration form. A single respondent will enter the the following data: name_1, email_1, an ID code, name_2, email_2, name_3, email_3.Instead of this being stored as a single row. I need this to be stored as multiple rows.row 1: name_1, email_1, and ID code, name_2, email_2row 2:  name_1, email_1, and ID code, name_3, email_3How can I get this done?

Good afternoon,I am attempting to create an automation that sends an email to my team with details about some work items.We use an Interface view to organize those records, and I need to generate links to each record so that when a team member clicks it, it opens in the Interface view, not in the Data view. The default is a view that doesn't show all the data we need (instead of the view from which the automated email came from), which is annoying in the first place. I'm trying to solve that via the interface. I know how to generate a link to a record in the Data view, by just using the record ID. The script copies a name and an alphanumeric code (ISCI code) from the record, and pastes it as a new record in the table "AutoHelper". Hi there ! :grinning: I’m very very new here, on Airtable, so to begin gently, I’ve come up with the idea to build a DB regrouping all the info I have on the pets I lived with (dead and alive). But I’ve got a DATETIME_DIFF() formula difficulty. On my base, I’ve created kind of a summary table with all the general info concerning the pets (Species, race, gender, etc…) On this table, I’ve got a field Date of Birth (DoB) and a field Date of Death (DoD). What I would like to do is to create a field that would give me the actual age of the pet (if still alive) or the age of the pet when it died, on same table, if possible :winking_face: . Reading the help documentation and many topics here concerning the DATETIME_DIFF() formula I found this : DATETIME_DIFF(TODAY(),{DoB},’years’) Which works perfectly for the actual age of the living pet.

I'm trying to sync an excel online file (that's a .url file) to airtable and airtable won't recognize it. Can anyone help? If this doesn't work I'll have to figure out how to go map fields from oracle to airtable but would be far easier to just use the excel online file that is already mapped correctly and pull that into airtable and have it automatically update from there. There's no editing we'll need to do from airtable to excel online, just one way sync to airtable. Thanks for your help!

I'm using a Google Drive Sync integration with the intention of avoiding going over the storage limit in my base. On the FAQ's for this integration I found this information:Will the attachments in a synced table count toward the destination base’s attachment limits?Yes. Similar to record limits, attachments in a synced table will count against the attachment limit in that synced table's base.If I were to simply not sync the attachments field, will that avoid taking up storage space in my base? With this solution, I could simply rely on the urls provided by the Google Drive Sync integration to interact with my files.Thanks in advance,

I use Airtable for timesheet purposes.  The employee completes a form in Airtable, and then that causes a row to be created in my Timesheets table.  Then the payroll staff go in and click an "Update Row" button on the row to enter the date paid. My primary field was a concatenated field of Last Name, First Name, Date Worked when I realized that a person can have 2 rows for the same date which apparently broke my automation.  I have been researching this all day and I do not know how to fix it.  Someone pretty please help! I'm hoping someone can help me with turning a pretty straightforward concat formula into something with more if/then logic to help when empty fields are encountered.Right now I have a primary field on my sheet that uses a formula to build a unique ID for logged payments. That formula is below:  CONCATENATE({Vendor Name}, " - ", IF( {Remit to AP}, DATETIME_FORMAT({Remit to AP}, 'MM-DD-YYYY')) )  The trouble is that with a lot of records there may not be a "Remit to AP" date for a number of reasons. I'm hoping there's a way I can use alternative fields as backups so the primary field doesn't just show something along the lines of "Vendor - " which isn't helpful.There's another field called "Invoice Date" that is much more frequently populated, and a "Year" field (which is a single select, not open text) as the last resort. It saves the value chosen in the dropdown.2. Updates 'Created By' as 'Automations'.I want the script to even update another field say 'User' with the user object (of the person who actually clicked the button).Is there a way to input the actual user object using automation script?I saw that I am able to get 'email id' , 'id' - which is usrXXXXXXXXXX and name. However what I actually want in the field is the complete user object which is similar to how 'Created By' and 'Modified By' fields look. I am doing this because, in my company, we review conversations from customer service in order to improve it. Basically, Table A is composed of a form, and we get to see the results to the different questions and one big score (which is a formula field). I made Table B, so a second team can work on conversations which have a QA Score below 80. To do this, I need to create an automation which is composed of 3 steps: 1. Hello! I am running into an issue automating an email notification when the date column is changed from one date to another. I have the automation set up so that when the date column is changed and the status is 'Sent', the email is triggered. The issue is that the email is getting sent every time the date is changed (including when the date is entered initially).The only workaround I've figured out so far is to set it up so that the record must match Status = Sent and Date is changed and we enter the date column second, but that leaves room for user error. Is there a way to ensure that that the email is sent only when the date column is updated from not empty?

Hi, So I’m using PHP which has this functionality built in (basically I give it a number and it converts it to how I would like it…) specifically I’m in Australia but the format I’ve chosen to go with is like this: +61415932797 so let’s break this down +61 = country code 415932797 < number obviuosly In Australia though when you call someone on mobile you dial 04… so it would be like 0415932797 if that makes sense (since you don’t use country codes when dialling within the country)… so I’ve got a bunch of these mobiles like this in my AirTable: 0402 930 888 - like this which I want to convert to +61402930888 - as you can see no spaces (random spacing in my original) - ideally also skip any fields that have text in them but that’s an easy thing… so… yeh long story short how do I regex 04 01 933 833 to +61401933833 also keep in mind a number could all ready be country code… but then aga

My users are frustrated when they apply a filter, or do a Ctrl-F search for, say "Fried" and it returns all occurrences of that string, such as "Friedman", rather than the word on its own. Any ideas? Hi!I have the tables "units" "location," and "event."Events have a lookup field to location, and a location has multiple units. What I want to acheive is to create an automation so that when a record is created in event, a new event for evry unit in that location.I started, but seem to be stuck onTo give an example:Units are lightbulbs, locations are buildings and events are service missions. A user can change one or all lightbulbs in a location via a form as part of a service misson. If the user changes all lightbulbs in a location I want to create a new record for each of the lightbulbs in that location.The point is that it's important to track when the lightbulb last had maintenance.

Should there be a few second pause between multiple triggers? I have 100 records. Every record has a checkbox for approving. Once I check the checkbox an email automation runs. I have an habit of approving multiple records at the same time. Because of that I am not receiving the email. How much pause should be there between 2 triggers in different records?

Hi there, I have a database of social media campaigns with start dates and end dates. I’d like to have both dates add a year when the end date is older than yesterday (so once the campaign ends, it’s automatically set up to happen next year). Ideally, I’d like it to happen once per month, but it can be any trigger. I should add that I’m on the free tier of Airtable I’ve tried a few things, but I can’t seem to get the formula DATEADD({Start Date}, 1, 'years') to work with the automation. Any suggestions?
