I am looking to find a formula that takes you right to the Interface from the source table, with the record expanded on the right side inside the Interface and also specific to what ever is pre-selected on the "Drop Down" option. So I want it based on the user that is selected in the drop down, in this case - I am working with a timeline. Any suggestions? airtable.com/appID/pagID/recIDThanks!

we currently use Google in order to sign on to our airtable. the company is migrating to Office 365 mail boxes. once we have finished migration to office 365, we cannot keep using the google sign in option…but, we can login regularly. question is, do we keep all the data of airtable in the new account? or is it all gone ? :frowning:

Hey guys,I am trying to pull reports of hours worked on a project to total up all hours worked that month across all projects, the individual project monthly hours, and calculate the percentage each project used from the total monthly hours. Let me break down my set up.Table: Project Tracker - contains all over all project information. Linked to Hours TrackerTable: Hours Tracker - where coordinators input the daily hourly information by the project they are working on. Projects can be worked on from anywhere from .5hrs to 8hrs and people can work on multiple projects a day. There can be multiple records per project per day for different amounts. I currently have the current project monthly hours by having a date format field to pull that date's month, have a view where it's grouped by month and then project to get the summary for the month and by project. Hello, I have an automation that is being run when a webhook is received. I have noticed that the automation is being run multiple times for some records; it does not run multiple times for every webhook. I cannot manually recreate this issue. When I manually send a record, it works as intended. I have reviewed the logs of the booking service sending the webhook, and only a single webhook is being sent each time. But, when I review the automation history, every once in a while it is running 5 times. Every time that it runs incorrectly, it is 5 times.Any thoughts?My automation in question can be viewed below: Webhook Received from booking website. Hi,I've tried using automations to "find records" but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I have a platform where we assign people from our "Staff Directory" to different stations of an event. I want to have a linked field that adds anyone assigned to a station to a general "Staff Assigned" field that I can pull e-mails from (already have that part setup). How can I have "Staff Assigned" update as each field is updated? Is there another or better way to do this?  

I have a formula that pulls text from another field. That field is a link to another table. Airtable is creating quotation marks around the text if the text contains any punctuation marks. Is there a way of stopping this??

When inserting a Date field in an Email Action, the Date and Time format I’ve set within the table does not get used. Instead, I get the default formatting, something like: 2020-06-07T01:00:00.000Z. I’d like the date and time to be outputted in a more readable format in emails, something like 6/7/2020 at 1:00am.

The table is: Grouped by StateOrProvince from First-Last Sorted by StateOrProvince from first-last No matter how I group, sort, etc. I can not get the table to group/sort alphabetically by State. Super simple question...I have an email action automation that runs when certain conditions are met.  I need to update a date field (excluding time) when this automation runs.  There isn't an obvious answer to this in the forums.  Any ideas?

Hi,I have a table which is sort of a Bill Of Materials containing the all the required parts to assemble a single product, including the required quantity of each part. It's basically looks like:|Product|Part|QuantityRequired|There is another Parts table containing the cost of each part.I'm trying to calculate the total cost for each part in a single field. So far I was able to do it through two fields, one is lookup for the cost of the part and another field with formula {qty}*{cost from lookup field}My question is can this be done directly in a single formula field, without needing the extra aux lookup field to fetch the price of a single part? Feels a bit redundant and was wondering if there's a way to fetch that lookup directly through the formula. (The final calculation of of the product's cost is done in the Products table through a sum rollup on said result)Thanks.

Problem...A business software license broker has 200+ records of inventory available for lease. Currently she sends her customers a link to a google sheet. Then they email her back with what they have picked, and the deal moves down the pipeline. There are issues with follow up and communication which result in a lot of missed opportunities. Each deal requires several variables be determined such as Price negotiation, length of term, location, server hosting requirements, etc. additionally there are document generation issues which further slow the process, purchase orders, nondisclosure agreements, and sales contracts. These are all generated by hand allowing for additional project slippage.In an attempt to automate this process she moved the inventory records into a base and created some views then created some forms to allow provider/vendors to easily add new inventory offerings via an embedded form, or she could easily enter it herself while on a phone call. first off: recurring issue: where can i report bugs?the record history seems to give wrong information when the change in the record was an addition of a linked record. the record history should say "[USER] created this ['record' or custom name for record as per table settings]" but it does not respect the table settings of the related table and does not use the custom name of the record of the linked table.i.e. i have two linked tables, one called "products" and one "sales". the tables are set up so that records in the "products" table are called 'product' and in the sales table are called 'sale' (for example in the footer of the table when summing up etc).when i create a record in the sales table say 'sale #5239234' related to say the record 'GREEN APPLE' on the product table, the record history of that 'GREEN APPLE' records should say "[User] created this sale" and display the change in the link-field. instead it says "[User] created this product", but i created a sale related to a

Hi all, I’m a social media manager. I have a base which links together editorial content with associated social posts. It makes amazing things like this possible: Now, I’m trying to create a fully automated UTM parameter system which collects data from various linked records — such as linked web content, associated campaign, etc — and spits out a single URL with appended UTM parameters for tracking in Google Analytics. I’ve got most of it figured out. One step remains: how to extract part of a string. In this case, everything found AFTER the final “/” in a given field. Here’s what I mean. I’d like a formula which scans this text, finds the final “/” in the string, then spits out everything AFTER that: Here’s my current, incomplete formula: Could I do this with RIGHT()? Hi all, I’m currently trying to set-up a pie chart via Airtable’s ‘Blocks’ function. Is there any way to choose my own colour for each of the segments? The default colour scheme that my pie chart is using is completely contradictory from the labels of each of my segments - and I can’t find a way to change it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. I have a summary table that is comprised of a single row with a linked field (projects) containing multiple values, then a series of rollups with $ calculations based on project status back in the project table.I would like to automate the addition of new projects to the summary table linked field when projects are created in the primary table, and also automate the deletion of those linked field values when projects are completed.I'm unsure how to best accomplish this in an automation. Are there any suggestions?

I am in Real Estate and have created at table for all my transactions.  Some date fields are calculated based on a formula.  For example, a Loan Application is due x# of days after contract date - it can vary based on the contract.  I am creating a template that lists tasks based off that calculated date.  I create the template and choose a relative date but the calculated date is not listed, only dates that are manually entered (vs. calculated) are showing.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

Hi, Seeking help here.. I need a formula in the Client name cell where in it will only show the client name if either of the Client or Brand columns has a name on it. Meaning if the Client cell has a name the Client name formula will only show "Path Social" and if the Brand name has a name on it "ThingTesting" it will only show in the Client name cell 

So if you have an Airtable Enterprise account and issue personal access tokens (PATs) tied to a service account.  Apparently, once you create 100 PATs, the interface WILL NOT let you issue any additional PATs tied to that service account:Honestly, this seems very arbitrary.  The workaround is to create *another* separate service account to issue new PATs, but this seems very, very janky.I don't understand why Airtable gates the max number of PATs per service account to 100 total, but it is what it is.  This is mildly annoying.  FYI. 

I have a script that has been working for over a year, but now will not update records.  I sync a table from another base to a second tab in main base.  I then use the following script I was given over a year ago (can't remember where I got it).  It has worked great to look at the synced tab to see a unique ID (emp #) and then pull that onto the main table and pull multiple records from the syned tab.  Now when I run it the script runs super fast and doesn't update anything even though I have matching Unique IDs.Here is the script I am using://Substitute "Orders" for table name which contains values//on which you want to run the vlookuplet mainTable = base.getTable("Covid LOA");let mainTableRecords = await mainTable.selectRecordsAsync({fields:["emp"]});//Substitute "Product" for table which contains range to searc
