Hi all, I’m building an interface to help the tutors at our company guidance students in writing their supplemental essays for college. I have a base with two tables:Table 1: US Colleges (which has a list of US colleges and what they each look for in applicants; the primary field being the college name) Table 2: Supplemental Essays (which has the list of supplemental essays required for each college; the primary field being the essay prompt itself, and there’s a link record field to link each essay prompt to the relevant college in the US Colleges table)The interface I’m building is a Record Review, and I picked Table 1 (US Colleges) as the linked table so that the data can be organized by college.Everything works great when I’m editing the interface, but when I open the public view link, the records from Table 2 (Supplemental Essays) aren’t showing.  How do I fix this? Hi Everyone.  I have a reseller company selling my products.   I need to pay them rebates every month.I have drawn up a table to track sales as they are made.  It will then also pull through the rebate amount to each month’s column based on the contract start and finish date.I now want to create a dashboard that the reseller and I can view every month to see the total amount of resales for the month.  IE. I want a chart showing each month’s total rebate.  I would also like to setup seperate dashboards showing for example the number of active contracts, how much rebate is owed to each different sales person, etc….Can anyone please assist/guide me with this on how to get the information into a dashboard.  I have created the dashboard similar to this excel file but Just not sure how to pull over the data for insights as I am struggling to get all the months into one chart.

Hi everyone! I’m working on an automation that needs to create records based on two linked lists, for example: A list of projects A list of team membersQuestion 1:Is it possible to have an automation that loops over the projects list and, inside that loop, creates records for team members only if the record doesn’t already exist? In other words, can I add a condition inside a repeating loop to check for existing records before creating new ones? Question 2:Is it possible to have nested loops in Airtable automations? Or are there any workarounds to loop over both projects and team members together to automatically create every combination without hardcoding? Thanks so much for your help!

I can’t figure out how to make links between two tables work the way I need them. Here’s the situation:Table 1 contains a list of Companies. These Companies are differentiated by Type (multiselect) and split into multiple views based on that: Producers view and Architects view.Table 2 contains a list of Projects. Each Project has a Project Owner field (link to Companies, single record) and Project Participants field (link to Companies, multiple records).So far so good. Hello,I am building a dashboard in which I include a control formula in order to make sure the AI reads well.However the behaviour is inconsistent. Check formula :IF({Amount (vat incl.)}={Amount (VAT incl.) (check)},"✅","❌") Calcul formula{Amount (vat incl.)}-{Amount (VAT incl.) (check)} QUESTIONWhy is one result -0 and the other 0 when the mechanics between formulas and parameters are the same ?

Hi,Is there any way to search an entire base with the Search feature on the mobile app? I’m only able to see how to search within one view and one table at a time.Our team has added QR codes to records in our base, and would like to use the scanner within the Search feature on the mobile app to scan a QR code (from a printed label) and pull up the corresponding record in the Airtable app.This works fine *if* you know which table and which view to search in. However the base has multiple tables and views (it was not set up optimally). If you’re searching in the wrong table, or view, OR if a filter has been applied by another user to the view you’re searching in, you’ll get a “record not found” message.So I’d love to find an easy way to scan in the QR Code with the mobile app, and just search the whole base.Any ideas??Thanks very much.Elaine

I’ve got a very simple IF statement Facon is a check box, and it’s clearly empty.Material Supplier address is a lookup and is filled in in most instances. However, I can’t get this basic thing to work? Am I doing something wrong?

Dear Airtable Team and Community, I was genuinely excited about the new features showcased in the AI Playbook during the “Omni and Field Agent” webinar. The potential of these tools, particularly the “Maximize Event ROI (MER)” and “Visualize Product Materials (VPM)” templates, was impressive and promising. However, I encountered a few issues after downloading and testing the templates. In the MER template, I was unable to activate the map feature, despite being on a Teams subscription. Similarly, in the VPM template, the 3D viewer did not appear to be available. Additionally, I noticed that all my AI credits were consumed the following day, even though I had only copied the templates into my workspace without making any active use of them. Could you kindly clarify if these features are currently functional or if certain elements were included primarily for demonstration or marketing purposes? I’m using Airtable to organize a writing group, and I’m trying to set up an automation that will send a weekly reminder about the meeting on the day before we meet, but only to the people who opt into the reminders (who are all listed in a “Reminders List” view of my “Members” table). However, when I activate the automation, it sends multiple emails to each person on the list. How have folks set up weekly reminders to a designated group? Hi all,I am in the process of creating a table for my coaching and consulting work. I have listed all my client names and which company they work for in a table. With about half of these people I actually have meetings with. These meetings are all on Zoom or Teams and I am sent a Zoom Meeting Summary compiled by AI Companion, which creates a summary of what we spoke about. Ultimately what I would like to achieve is the following:I would like this table to automatically assign any meeting summaries the clients are involved in, and then in a separate field, I would like Airtable to extract information from the provided summaries to display what the focus has been for the past six months, and another field to provide recommendations on how to best move forward with each person. Is that possible?

I am trying to share information between two tables, a short list of info and a long list of info. There is a checkbox column in the long list that when checked, it adds that record to the short list. But if the record is unchecked, I want to delete that record from the short list, so it is not there anymore. I haven’t found an easy way to do this, so I wanted to throw it out here.

Hello! I’m new to this community and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I need to create a base that can match college students with alumni for 1-on-1 meetings, based on career interests. Each person will have up to 3 career interests, but meeting pairs only need to match on one of those interests.  Each student must be matched with only 2 alums Each alum should not have more than 2 students (but can have fewer)I created a base with 3 tables - Students, Alums, Career Interests - and linked the Student table to the Alumni table so I can see all of the matching alums for each student. I just cannot figure out how to limit the matches to just 2 for each person. Is this possible in Airtable or do I have a lot of manual work ahead of me?

I’m trying to write a nested if formula in a CRM document. I have a column for the frequency I need to contact someone, a column with the date they were last contacted and a column that I want to say “Overdue” if it’s more than X days since my last contact. For instance, if I have the Frequency marked Monthly, I want it to say “Overdue” if it’s been more than 30 days since my last contact.Here’s what I have now, but it doesn’t say “Overdue” when it should. I've never been fussy about colors, but the new options for base themes are a big step backwards for me.  The old bright, bold, cheery, energetic & fun colors that made the Airtable experience feel enjoyable and different from your average boring, serious database, have been replaced by: A) a dark, dreary version (my green base now looks exactly like Excel - uugh) or a mushy pastel version (were people asking for more 'washed out' low contrast header options?).The fun bright colors were part of Airtable's experience (and brand) for me.  Is there a way to bring them back for my workspace?  

I have to download the attachments from smarsheet and directly upload them in to Airtable attachments column. is it possible as it is taking much time to upload attachments one by one?

I have created a table with my suppliers and the products the offer. I have the following tables:SuppliersProductsInvoicesInvoices linesIn Suppliers I enter every company I work or might be interested in working in the future.In products I have all the products offered, each product has a price and the supplier that offers that product (It has many other fields but are not important here)In Invoices lines I put the content of each invoice I create in the Invoices table and when I recall a product, it recalls as well the price.The problem is sometimes I have exactly the same product offered by multiple companies and one of the ideas of this database is to be able to make a price comparision.So I want every product to be connected to multiple suppliers and to have the price that every supplier asks for such product. Hi people!I am trying to establish an automation which appends a row to Google Sheet when the certain cell in Airtable is filled.Everything is ok except that duration data from a formula cell is not synced as h:mm as in Airtable but instead I get some strange number such as 3427.Is there any way I can correct this?Thanks so much!

I was told Airtables had better database like features than Notion, but cant find them I have 3 tables, A → B → C , and want to get data from A in C but cant find a wayFor example I have a clients table, a contracts table and a monthly payments table, in payments table i link to the contract to be paid (and ofc contracts links to clients), clients table include a field security_deposit. I’m having an issue with an automation getting stuck when trying to update a Google Calendar invite, but only in a conditional set of automations. When I test it with the exact same instructions without the other actions it works fine, so I know that the configuration is good. The automation is triggered when 3 fields match conditions. The conditional actions are based on 2 different fields with the first two actions having one of the fields the same (status), and the other field being empty or not. These first 2 sets of actions work just fine with no issues. The second set of actions is a different status, and whether the other field is empty or not.

After creating a Blank interface, I used "Add element" to add record-pickers for tables A, B, C, and D, as shown in the image. For each table, I arranged the relevant fields vertically.What I want to achieve is to visually group the vertically arranged sections for tables A, B, C, and D. I think just giving each section a different background color would be enough.However, it seems that such a basic feature doesn’t exist, so I’m wondering if I might be missing something.Thank you!  

Hey all!I’m currently developing an extension for Airtable, and at the moment, all of the logic resides in a single file, index.js, as generated by the initial project setup.Is it a requirement of Airtable’s extension framework that all code must remain in index.js, or is it safe to refactor the logic into multiple modules/files for better organization and maintainability with TypeScript?I’d appreciate any official guidance or best practices.
