Hi Community!I’m attempting to create a webhook and attach some additional info for all he POST requests that are to be made for the specified notification url.I want to call my notification url and specify some parameters there.AFAIK its not possible to use url query parameters there and specify them while creating a webhook.Are there other options? Like custom http headers or so?  Thank you

Good afternoon.I would like to clarify whether it is possible to manually trigger an automation without linking it to any tables. I noticed that the “Run automation” button is available on the record details page, but in my case the first step needs to be an API call that retrieves data before anything is added to the tables. I don’t need scheduling and cannot use webhooks. Is this approach supported?

I am hoping there is an easy way to do this!  I have a contacts table - one row per contact - with relevant information. But for each I also gather different types of long-text notes (summary of our last conversation, etc.) that doesn’t fit neatly into a table.  Essentially I want to create a one-pager per contact that displays this data the way I need to. What option am I missing that doesn’t involve integrating yet another system to my process? Pre-Airtable I would have done an excel to Word mail merge or similar, or in Access I would have used a form view with one record per display and got exactly what I needed. Thank you for any ideas - I’m sure there is a way to do this!

I’ve been working with Airtable for a few months. I’m a DBA and operations manager so I’m not a novice but I also know my limits. I’m building a new relational DB in airtable to manage a small business I’m starting and given my time constraints I’m looking to outsource some of the initial design and configuration so I can maximize automations and reduce the burden of any manual work. Please comment if this is something you might be able to help with.

Hello,I am using an Airtable form embedded on my website via an iframe. In the form settings, I enabled the option “Enter a URL to redirect to after the form is submitted” and added the URL of my thank-you landing page.However, after submitting the form, the page redirects back to the form instead of redirecting to the landing page I specified.The form is embedded on my website using an iframe, and I suspect that this might be affecting the redirect behavior.Could you please help me understand why the redirect is not working and how I can fix it?Thank you in advance for your support.Best regards,

Until today, I have had a Make scenario that takes attachments from incoming Gmail messages and uploads to a new record in AirTable. Today 1/23/26 at 1pm, the attachments turned into download links, and I am unable to preview my files anywhere in AirTable. Did something change? Regardless, how do I get the PDF files to upload properly to AirTable in a way where I can preview them?

Hello! I’m trying to create an automation that allows me to add someone to a collaborator field without replacing any data that is already in the field. Is this possible? That is, if 3 people are already in the collaborator field and I want to add a fourth via an automation, can the fourth be added without removing the other 3 that are already in the field?

Hi,We’re looking at adding new data with potentially a lot of records to our base, so I’m wondering how to design that.The overall question is then if one can spread out distinct data types to other bases, and thereby be able to significantly increase the records quota?We’re currently at the Team plan with 50k records allowed and already using 19k of the quota. I have not seen a way to buy just more records quota. We don’t really need the additional Business plan features right now, and also that is still capped at 125k records.The data we’ll adding for our CRM/ERP is bank transactions and invoice data. Both of these have before been handled in external systems, thereby creating manual work and complex maintenance.Bank transactions could be10-30 per day now, but could increase manyfold within some years. Already 50 per day would mean 18k records per year.Invoice data would probably need an invoice header table and line items

Good day everyone. I’m a newbie to Airtable/Fillout, coming from another app builder.I run a small school charter service on weekends, between schools and home towns.  My clients book their kids on the app. Currently I calculate the trip dates but I think a table with trip dates is easier to use. My problem is: The booking form needs to get the first available row from the dates table - the table has 3 columns for date home, date back to school and trips completed.(Clients book for both weekend dates at once, just selecting 1 or both dates.)In my still-current app the users table is the logon validation table and its data is accessible everywhere in the app. There the dates are calculated in columns but then also checked against long weekends dates an school term dates. A lot of columns thus. So if I can get the first Date Home and the first Date School from the TripDates table where the Completed “cell” is empty, I can get rid of the calculations.The problem ob

Hello! I have two tables. One is a collection for a webform and the other contains all the main data. The webform uses a field that references the main table data, such as first name. I want when someone adds a specific code in the form to update a multi select field but I don’t want to destroy the other entires. I have it good to go right now but its overwriting the current selections with a singular selection that I want to add to the existing selections.

I was recently added as an ADMIN and owner of an existing workspace and base. There are some existing automations created by other people.When I tried to add myself as a subscriber to notifications, I get an error message saying, “Subscriber must have creator permission level in the application.”Well, as admin and base/workspace owner, I think I’ve got all that.The only subscriber to one of these notifications is someone who has left the organization and no longer has an account. I can’t remove them unless I can at least add one other user. So it’s a catch-22.Any ideas?

We need comments to remain. Is there a way of either turning off ‘resolve’ comments capability, or, displaying resolved comments? 

Hi, yes I reached out to sales but it’s been a month but so far I’ve only been connected to agents that never replied. Since we are actively running into Record issues within the next weeks I wanted to ask here what costs to expect for an Enterprise plan. We mostly need a higher record limit per base (200k this year, 300k the next). We only use airtable as backend so we don’t need more than 2 user accounts. Can anyone tell me what minimum price to expect for this? I urgently need this information so we can decide how to approach the current limitations.  Thank you!

Hi, I have social media base that has two tables – one for content creation and one for our social media posts. I have an automation setup to automatically create a post record when a content record is set to a certain status. It also copies over related fields such as campaign, location, etc. The problem is the automation triggers as soon as that status is selected, which is sometimes before the other fields are updated.I’ve tried adding a script to delay the create record action, but it still only pulls in the fields that were filled out when the whole automation is triggered.Is there a way to delay the new record creation stage so that it waits a few minutes after the status is updated and then pulls in the rest of the relevant fields into the new record? Or, is there a way to update the linked post record fields if any of the fields in the content record are updated after the post record is created? 

After the recent update introducing new appearance styles for single select fields, I'm experiencing an issue with forms.Issue:When selecting "List" as the appearance option for a single select field in a form, the field stretches all the way to the right edge of the form, ignoring any expected width constraints.Expected behavior:The list options should be contained within a reasonable width, similar to how the dropdown appearance displays.Steps to reproduce:1.  Create or edit a form2.  Add a single select field3.  Set the appearance to "List"4.  Preview the form — the list options stretch to the full width of the formIs this a known bug being addressed, or is there a setting/workaround to control the width?Thanks in advance!

I am currently using Salesforce, but I am not maximizing what Salesforce can do. This is a good thing because it means I can move away from Salesforce, and I heard that Airtable could be a much better solution.There are two problems with this:I'm trying to get a demonstration from Airtable, but I have not heard back from them yet. I know they are busy, but I'm hoping that I can get a demo before I make such an important decision for our business. I'm just wondering if anybody knows somebody in this community that could help us transition from Salesforce to Airtable as a consultant for x amount of time so that this transition is smooth.Thank you so much for everybody for reading this. Hi all,I’m currently building a new hire onboarding process, and I’m struggling to understand the best way to set up the flow. Here’s what i’m trying to accomplish:New hires added manually to the “New Hire” tab The onboarding steps are outlined in the “Onboarding Steps Tab” We’d like to: manage the flow of each employee through the onboarding steps (which include things like: Send new hire welcome email, add employee to workday, manager to create onboarding plan etc, all the way through the 30/60/90 day post start date plan We’d like to automate as much of this as possible (team reminders, emails, slack messages etc)To do this i’ve set up three tables so far:New Hire Tab (the employee info) Onboarding Steps (the process the employee goes through, but managed by a number of internal teams) A junction table combining both of these Where i’m struggling: Is a junction

I have a custom interface created by Omni where I have a button to create a new record in a table. When I’m creating a record from this interface, I want to upload a csv file into an attachment field, however, the code isn't working. The file will appear to have been uploaded, but when I check the data table, it's not uploaded or it's uploaded in a corrupt format that doesn't load again. How can I fix this in the interface? Omni has not been able to solve for this yet.

I have a base that tracks work request tickets. One of the fields I initially built in was a ‘Priority’ field, with options of Low, Normal, and High. Having used this base for several months, nobody has ever selected Low and a wide majority have selected Normal, with a small handful of High.I’d like to change this field to a checkbox for High priority, and we can assume the ticket is Normal otherwise. Is there a way to change the field without losing the data that’s currently there? Can I somehow convert the ones that had selected “High” into having a checked box?

I have an interface that is shared with non airtable users regularly and need the documents in the interface to be downloadable. The interface is shared publicly but when viewing the interface as a non user there is no download option for the attachments. How do I fix this?

For some people grouped view is cutting off data displayed.  Not a browser issue - has anyone else seen this?  See last few rows  

I am importing records that have attachments, and that attachment can be csv or text or json  . . whatever. Airtable ai wont read it, can a script in an automation read data from an attached non image file?

I have a requirement to move the csv files in SFTP and S3 to airtable, the file size is huge, have more than 1M records, is there a reliable integration in place to achieve this.

I work for a small nonprofit and am trying to build a base to track our required legal filings. I have tried generating formulas and/or automations to help create an auto updating due date field but nothing that I have found to try is working. The base has 2 tables, one with list of the required filings and one with the submissions, linked to the proper required filing. On the required filings table I have a field with the current due date, a rollup showing the most recent submission date, and a single select field for the frequency of the required filing (annual, etc). I want the current due date to update when the year in the most recent submission and the current due date match. The new due date would be based on the single select field where Annual = advance 1 year, Biennial = advance 2 years, Quinquennial = advance 5 years, and One-Time = remove the date.  For example, if our Form 990 has a current due date of May 15, 2026 and is due annually, when w
