Hello - I have a event data table ( nested in a event base) where I have list of potential events where my clients could participate. One of the column in the table is year column where I have a added a field agent to check the year the event is happening by routing the field agent to the event website cell.  So the field agent goes to the event website and check the year of the event and outputs that in the year column. I want the field agent to go back to the event website on a regular basis to keep checking for the year. Because the year column is connected to a secondary trigger automation where multiple field agents goes to the event website and collates the details about the event (Description, Target audience, topics discussed and others) For the year, when the field agent checks the website today, it might be still 2025 but tomorrow the website might have been to the subsequent year which is 2026.  So the question is is there a way t

Hello, I've built my site and linked my forms from the backend and captured in AirTable perfectly. This forms contain data from buyers/sellers landlord/renters(property field), I want to know if Omni can assist me in creating a matching feature so I can link buy-sell or landlord-renter requests that come in with certain perimeters which then matches and creates a new set of data, that i can follow up with. Is this possible?

As the title states, I need to know how to make comments made on an image viewable in a shared view. I don’t need the ability for people to comment, I just need the comments that I made visible to them! Seems silly that I can share all the other information on an airtable, but I can’t easily share comments that break down what an image shows to more clearly convey the information being shared...

Hi, hi. Happy Midsummer. I hope you are all wonderful. I have the most simple task that I cannot figure out for the past ten days. I'll attach an image here. I set up my inventory tracking system. I included a button to receive packages of inventory and a button to delete used packages of inventory. I cannot connect these buttons to update my current inventory column. My buttons open beautifully to the form, but when I input two boxes were received, nothing is updated in my current inventory. When I update two boxes were used, nothing updates as well.Let me know what additional information I can give you if you have a possible code. I've tried a bunch, and it seems like such an easy task, but nothing is sinking on my end for me to make it usable.Thank you. Thank you for your help. I appreciate you so much.Lisa  

Hey there, I am wondering if anyone knows how to use Fillout to generate unique forms for people in the airtable database. The idea is this: let’s say on some column in Airtable, Bob is only eligible for groups 2, 4 and Adam is eligible for groups 1 and 3, is there a way for Fillout to read this information on airtable and then create a personalised URL that gives Bob a form asking him to pick only between groups 2 and 4, and similarly with Adam? And can it do so while having a ‘live-booking’ functionality - so within Airtable, we have a Groups table that displays the remaining seats, so if group 2 currents sits at 0 remaining spaces, Bob will only have a form that asks him to pick group 4 (not a great example but hope you see what I mean).I would really appreciate any insight into this :)

Hello guys, this error always comes up when I'm trying to add data using a pop up form on an interface level: Worker responded with {errorCode} for {path}, {action}, {modelClassName} (Please see the First Image)Also when I'm trying to add data manually on the backend, an error message also pops up (please see second image). Both of this are occurring on the same table. I've looked at a few posts that deal with updating an existing record based on a form submission, but haven't found anything that addresses my particular need.I have a base to keep track of volunteers. It includes general contact info, which groups they are a part of, how they came to the organization, etc. I want to also use this base to keep track of which events they RSVP to. They RSVP to events via airtable form. I want to be able to update their existing record to add the event to the "Events" column (multi-select field).I've found ways to do this that involve the person filling out the form looking up their record (e.g., https://community.airtable.com/t5/show-tell/updating-an-existing-record-via-airtable-form/td-p/132681). I run a nonprofit that runs mentoring programs. I have a table that has a unique ID per mentor/mentee (a list of letters and numbers). That is the primary field. Their names are then in another field. There are about 72 people engaged in the program.I want them to be able to fill out a form for their mentoring activities/hours per month. I’ve created a new table, where the primary field is autogenerated. I’ve created the form, but I’d like for them to be able to choose their name from a list on the form so that it connects automatically to the main table and shows how many hours, meetings, etc for each person.Unfortunately I can only add the ID linked record for them to choose from, which is an internal number that they don’t know. Any creative thoughts on how I can get them to choose their name and have it still link/connect?

I wanted to find out from the Airtable Community - is anyone using Airtable to send *Scheduled* emails? If so, then I’d like to know how you do it, and how timely the emails are. Over the last couple of years, I remember hearing on these forums that Airtable doesn’t update very regularly… and that if I say send it at 5:00pm Airtable might send it at 4:45pm or 5:15pm, or even a day late. Is that still the case, or can I send scheduled emails that are sent at the correct time yet?  To be clear, for my use case, it doesn’t have to be exactly on the minute for me. I am at a nonprofit that’s just trying to simplify our systems to have a lower technical learning curve. It’s up to 150 emails a week for appointments. I want to simplify these workflows so I don’t have to use Make or Zapier to send *Scheduled* emails.  I would be glad to use Airtable AI

2 interface questions: Is there a way to discard unpublished changes? I was trying to add something to a current interface, but it isn’t laying out how I want it to… so I want to revert back to how it was. But it won’t even format itself back to how I originally had it… So I’d like to discard these changes and put it back how it was automatically. This leads me to my next question. Can the elements on the interface only go into these pre-determined ‘boxes’ that are popping up. Sometimes it won’t allow me to resize things the way I want them because it doesn’t seem to ‘fit the mold’. Does anyone else have this problem? I hope those make sense!

I have a bunch of columns/fields that use the same list of single-select values. I have changed the colors of the selectable values in one of the columns and I want to apply the same change (colors) to all the other columns with the same range of values. How can I do this short of manually edit the colors on all the other columns?

Hey experts, I’m a beginner of Airtable and I’m setting up the bases & interfaces to present my team’s resource allocation plan.I have set up two bases: Task & Timeoff. And I have created an “Utilization Interface” as shown in the below screenshot.I’m wondering if there’s a way to show the timeoffs in this interface as well? If so, should I merge the two bases (task & timeline) together? Or if there’s any other best practices that I can keep these two bases separated but still show both the task and timeoff in the same utilization view?Thank  you so much for your guidance!!

Problem:When adding a linked record in Airtable, the search is currently limited to the Primary Field of the linked table. In many cases, however, the Primary Field is a technical ID or a customer number, which is neither intuitive nor easy to remember for users.Example:We have a customer table with fields like Customer Number, Company Name, and Address. I’m confused at why this is so difficult to figure out. I want a record created automatically once a month in a table via automation with start and due dates filled out. You can’t add formulas to automation fields so that’s a no go. My workaround is that I’ve created a ‘creation date’ field that is filled in by the automation’s ‘expected trigger time’. That create date field is then used to fill in a start date and due date formula field using the DATEADD function with some math. My problem with this method is that I’m not able to change dates independent of each other if I need some flexibility and the only way to adjust dates is by adjusting the ‘creation date’ date field. Having due dates populate based on the date the automation was fired off seems simple enough but I can’t really figure out the best way to do this. Any input would be great!

I have a field in TableA called “ProductSKU” which is a primary field that concatenates some data from other fields in TableA. The formual is: LEFT(Description,10) &"-" &FinishCode &"-" &Model I have a field in TableB called “SelectKit” that is a link to “ProductSKU”. I have a third field in TableB that concatenates data from the “SelecKit” field. The formula is: LEFT({SelectKit},5) Now, that we’ve established that. I have found that SelectKit is arbitrarily entering a single quotation mark as in " just before the text that is being pulled from “SelectKit”. This only happens in one case. I’ve checked all the fields from every other table and there is NO quotation mark entered in a field. I’ve checked the formulas and they all appear correct anbd otherwise working, except for one entry. Why is this question mark being entered??

Hi, I want to track employee annual leave via Airtable. They’ll input Date From & Date To (including time). There will be individual calculation fields for each leave type (e.g sick, annual leave etc) and an approval status. So this formula would be wrapped in IF conditions; IF Type = ‘Annual Leave” and Status = “Approved” this calculation will apply. Formula needs toonly calculate weekdays (ignore weekends) understand 1 day = 7.8 hours only needs to count hours if the time differs between date from & date to fields. My AirTable implementation deals with scheduling and staffing of courses for a university. We have a table for Professors, a table for Courses, and a table for Offerings which marries the two together with each record representing a single staffed course-section that students will ultimately be able to register for.Of note: currently our professors do not have AirTable access. Having them create accounts is currently not an option, unfortunately. Additionally, our plan does not include AirTable Portals.When we initially link professors to offerings, we need to send emails to have the professor accept or decline the position. We currently intend to do this via a Fillout form that will allow them to edit a single select field with accept/decline as the options (the “Accepted?” field below). I like to know what others are doing to have better organization of managing their users against workspaces, bases, and interfaces, specifically within their organization. I have built a number of apps amongst different departments. We have not decided to turn on enterprise hub yet for our enterprise account but we do have SSO. However, I think using groups would be useful as a growing community of users is developing. I’m a little clunky with using groups and will need to a lot of clean up. Structurally this is how I’m laying it out:Workspace per department Product owners of the Base have creator access only at the Base NOT at the Workspace level (Reasons - within the department could have multiple products not meant for other team members thus at the Workspace level gives too much control) Groups - Product owners are Group ManagersMy logic in what I’m thinking to do:At the Base level manage access for creators on

I keep going top left for the Hide fields, filter, group, sort….. only for it not to be there anymore!!! Any chance you could put some real effort into wrapping the headers of columns please?ALSO allow us to colour the different groups. 50 shades of grey is really difficult to keep track of! 

Hi All,we keep getting the error message “Invalid permissions” on the Airtable app on Android phones when trying to view our Interfaces. Everything worked just fine for months. The users on the phones do have access to the Interfaces, as per our settings.Weirdly, the error can be circumvented when accessing the same Interface through a direct link that we click from outside the Airtable app. We re-started the phone, cleared the cache, uninstalled&installed the app. None of those helped.Has anyone experienced this before and is there a recommended solution?  

Hello all:I have a table that stores our department's class offerings schedule. The important fields are:Lecturer's name Course number  Day of the week (Multiple select - as there can be multiple days the class is offered)  Start time of the class (the date does not really matter here; We only care about a typical week) Duration of class (in minutes) - helps to compute the end time of the sessions. I would like to generate a view that shows us the Weekly Schedule that is “date Agnostic” for an entire semester. The columns will be the weekdays, and the rows will be the time frames of each day (running from 7am to 9pm). I would like the classes to be filled into a “calendar-like” view based on their time and day of offering. Hello all, Basically I have a form to link working units and owners: For some reason the “+” button on the Owner side is displaying “Add unit” and I can’t figure out how to change it to something more accurate (Add robot). The back end of one of our products is built on Airtable. Its been runing fine, but in the last couple of months (since May 18th) it hasn't been working anymore. Unfortunately we didn't discover this until now, and this means a key product in our whole business is broken/down.Did airtable change its scripting system to change how attachment fields work? The images being attached work, the script appears to successfully run, logs are totally okay, just the images don't get attached at the end.More info:We wrote an airtable script that, based on data, attaches a photo to the airtable. The script stopped working recently.
