Hi our team uses form view to get status updates from people. We have people table, project table, then status update table that joins things together, and I use a formula to eventually display only the latest update. We’d like to get some finer grain on the update though. For example say we have John, Sally, and Bob giving updates. And we have Project1, Project2. In each of project1 and project2 we have possible categories of work being say, “prerequisites”, “training”, “execution”, “delivery”. Right now our form collects only name & project, and that’s it. But for example if John is working on “delivery” for Project1, we want to know that level of detail as well. I’m having trouble understanding how I could do this in airtable forms. In Google forms the checkbox grid would come in handy. But I don’t know how to to pull this off in airtable. Has anyone found a workaround for being able to track who submits a response setting blocking people without Editor seat type being unable to upload attachments in the form?I have a form that we need to see who created the item and also allow them to attach items to the attachments field. When you enable the “See who submitted a response” setting it appears that only users with Editor seat types are allowed to upload items. I've tried adjusting the permissions on the attachments field itself to allow setting it via forms, but that does not solve the issue. 

All automations which include a Repeating group on a given base are erroring.When testing, error shows: “Rate limit exceeded: too many jobs have been created.” -see image below.When running on its own, error shows: “Invalid Input List”No automation runs limit has been met, No API call limits have been actually exceeded, Find Records limit has not been exceeded, Repeating Group limit of items/records which can be looped has not been exceeded. Automations worked great for months/year, but started erroring all of a sudden yesterday. Nothing has changed. I tried building new automations with repeating group, and even new automations fail. Hi. I am using Airtable to track Multiple projects in my role as Chef of Staff. Each Project has multiple smaller projects each with its own set of tasks. Each project has its own list of vendors and different individuals responsible for activities to that specific project. Each project has its own budget. I'm struggling to figure out how to load this format in my Base which I call Anatoli's Super Tracker. Can you show me where to learn how to do this or give me some directions. Thanks. I have a base to manage my vendor payments, and a table that warehouses the vendors’ contracts and payment terms. In that contract table, I’d like to make a formula field that returns the next date when I should expect an invoice, depending on the payment terms (in this table, that is a single-select field titled “Invoice Schedule”). One of the “Invoice Schedule” options is “monthly,” meaning the formula field I am trying to make should just return the last day of the month (preferably month-over-month, as several contracts are long term). Here’s how I’ve set up that part of the formula - AT accepts the formula, but returns only blank values. I think that I’m misusing or misunderstanding SWITCH() - wondering if anybody can advise on what I’m doing incorrectly here? I unable to add a new record by searching and linking to employee by searching for first name. I have two tables. A occurrence table, and employee table.This inputs into occurrence table. Only link between occurrence and employee table is employee ID. Any recommendations?   

I am experiencing issues with  pages that i created in the extensions.  Issue 1. i have created buttons to load different pages in extensions , and when the extensions are loaded its not scrolling to the right option. which was working as of 2 days ago. Issue 2.  once i try ti print these pages the print preview is showing blank pages and when i try to print its also printing blank. these issues had also started in the last 2 days.  I am using the Firefox browser on the air tables website. When i tried to use the Chrome browser the first page comes blanks.

I've created a summarization in excel that I want to replicate in airtable, I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it.I have a production operation for large machines. By week, how much am I going to spend buying inventory (sum of Cost X, by week based on Date A) B. By week, how much cash am I going to generate selling my inventory (sum of Rev Y, by week based on Date B) C. Is there a solution to sync Jira which is an on premise version NOT Jira Cloud. When in the office I have access to both Jira and Airtable which are behind firewalls. Are there any solutions maybe with MCP Browserbase or other type of way to extract data not via API but through the browser and sync with Airtable. 

Here’s my thinking. I like the simplicity of Airtable’s own “Export CSV” function. Data in a spreadsheet as a simple backup is all I am after. If “Export CSV” could be triggered via a script, the entire process could be automated. A new record could be the trigger to run this script. Does anyone know if this is even possible? Thank you!

Hi, I’m trying to roundup the following formula: ({GROUP PRICE}+({EXTRAS}*3))/3Where GROUP PRICE is the pricing for a group to which I add extras * by number of guests and then divide by 3 to obtain a price per person. The formula is working and in this case I obtain a pricing of 101.667€. I’m trying to roundup this number to 102€.Thanks

I have a database, which is extracted from our CRM. We sell and install equipment. There are two key dates, which are important: sign date (i.e. when we won the job) and install date.I have created two formula fields (‘Sign Month (fx)’ and ‘Install Month (fx)’) to give the month in YYYY-MM format. I then have an automation in place to copy these calculated fields into ‘Sign Month’ and ‘Install Month’, which are linked fields.Finally, I have created a Summary table where I would like to roll up various metrics by month (e.g. revenue).This is where I come unstuck and can’t figure out a way forward…I would like to see, for example, revenue by sign month and by install month. That way, I can summarise both our sales performance (what’s signed in a given month) as well as our operational performance (what we install in a given month).Where I’ve got to is I think I need to differentiate the months, perhaps with a prefix such as I-YYYY-MM for Install Mont

Hello, I have an airtable app that supports our HR and Finance teams.  As part of the build, I am looking to reference the employee ‘start date’ and ‘end date’ to determine how many days, or workdays that employee worked in a specified month (assume each month starts on the 1st and ends on the last day 30/31) Example fields:Start date: 01-10-25End date: 01-25-25Month Start: 01-01-25Month End: 01-31-25 The month start and ends fields could be done without referencing the fields if needed and handled within the calc using datetime parse/datetimeformat or the like. In many examples the end date of the employee will be after the month end but have kept the duration short for this example.In theory, a simple formula like the below should work, but I’ve tried so many different options of doing this and the formulas keep returning a 0 or error. The customer > order > product linking example use case is clear to me.What’s less clear is having 12 tables of similar data for 12 clients and how to link them into a master table.The 12 clients share 8 core fields including a unique identifier for records. Each client has 4-6 fields unique to their business. Those 48+ unique fields make one table cluttered, and in my opinion, necessitate 12 tables linked into a master table. That way, each client can have their particularities, but I can have a master table, master calendar, insight into potential staffing issues, etc.How do I set up a master table to pull all records (and 8 core fields) from 12 tables that all share the same unique identifier format?

Hello, I have a database with 2 tables. The first one is the list of invoices (Airtable - Grid view), and the second one is for all the invoice lines (https://airtable.com/shr7SIHWwTSG0oM9H). I want to create a form to add products in the second table. But first I need to create an entry in the first table (the invoice number) before I can add the items (table 2). I want to make the process simple, and not have 2 forms to fill in. Do you see a solution? The only solution I have found is to make a first form to add an invoice, and in the reply message it links to adding the rows (Form) but it is not very user friendly, and people can get confused. I have a field with multiple select options in a table. When I click the Approve field (checkbox), I want the data (the selected options) to be copied to a namesake field in another table. Currently, I have the namesake field in the 2nd table as a single line text and so it works. However, in the 2nd table, it does not appear as multi option data. The challenge is that I am running a marketplace app and I want to create a filter-based search option and single line data doesn’t work. There is a video posted in a previous question but that doesn’t solve my problem. I also tried to link the 2nd table’s field to the first but no luck. Would this be possible in the first place? As always, many many thanks for the tips.

Hi If it’s doable, I’d like to solve this problem. For the sake of simplicity, there are two tables in the base: Projects and RFPs. In the Project stable, there’s a single select “Project Type”, with options “Project; RFP”. I would like a lookup field in the Projects table that’s only enabled when “Project Type” is “RFP” to look up the relevant record from the RFPs table. Can it be done?

I am running a scraper to fetch data into my Airtable. Sometimes, the Company name is in full; for example, International Business Machines.I want to batch convert (correct term?) them into IBM. I am half done with the automation -- When a Record Matches “International Business Machines” .But what comes thereafter is the challenge -- I assumed it should be Update Record but unable to input the “IBM” text. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
