I have a dropdown menu in a form that is linking to another table. The other table has dates and a label for each date. I need the dropdown menu to show both the date and the label for the user. It currently only shows the date in the preview.

Hi,I have set up an email automation using Outlook. Is it possible to add my email signature to this email and also change the from name to the business name instead of my personal name?

I’m attempting to set up air table to distribute parents possessions between 10 siblings Scenario:  If there are 100 items and 10 lots of 10 items each.  Each sibling wishes to receive a certain decoy, a certain lamp, and a certain painting. Sibling one rates, only three items, the decoy, the lamp and the painting. Sibling 2 enters a rating for virtually every item on the lists Sibling three enters a rating for 30 different items on various lists that she desires, leaving the rest blank.  Under this scenario, my understanding of the program is that sibling one is almost certain to receive at least one of the three items she covets.  Sibling 2 is highly unlikely to receive any of the three items. Sibling 3 has a middling chance of receiving one of those three items. Am I correct?   

I’m trying to troubleshoot an error that’s coming up on a Zap of mine with little luck. Everything works except the last step, which involves updating a field in Airtable with a ticket ID retrieved from Freshdesk. I receive the following error: Invalid permissions, or the requested model was not found. Check that both your user and your token have the required permissions, and that the model names and/or ids are correct. I’m not having much luck with this one because I have the exact same zap set up for another table in the same base, exactly the same way, and that one returns no such error and runs successfully. Just to go through each part on this step:The airtable account and action (Update record) are correct, same as the zap that is working properly The configure step connects to the correct base, the right table, and references the record from previous steps and the retrieved freshdesk ticket ID, same as

I found a similar thread from four years ago but was unable to reply. I use Airtable personally, for freelance work, and for my 9-5 all with different emails/log in credentials. I would love a way to easily toggle between these things without having to log in and out every time and to avoid getting access error messages when following a link. Canva and Google both do this very easily. It would be great to be able to do so in the desktop and mobile app. 

I'm setting up an automation to find records from webhook data. The field I need to match appears grayed out by Airtable with an error, "No valid nested options". I want to create a dashboard that will combine data from tables that are in two different bases. I know that an interface can only pull from one base, so is there a way for me to create a synced view that will pull data from both bases into one table and then i will create a dashboard that will combine them? what is the best way to do this?

I made a interface and it shows peoples full name. When I do a filter by full name it shows zero results. Is this a bug? So my goal here is to be able to report on certain users and the issues they encounter. So is there a different way to filter by users name?  

Hello, I used the PM Template as a guide to build out a PM base and interface, copying all data exactly as shown. The only issue I'm having is that when you select Assignee, only the first pie chart updates to reflect the Assignee selected. The rest of the widgets do not update. I have both open (the template, and my version) and when I toggle an owner in the Template, those widgets update, but mine does not, Again, I copied everything exactly as shown in the Template so this really shouldn't be happening. Any ideas?

Why can I no longer add choices to my “Language” dropdown? I used to be able to select the “Language” column header and select edit, but now clicking on the header does nothing. 

I have reviewed countless resources to learn about structuring bases for linking records and using the Lookup function, but none are effective. Is there any way to have a screen share call with someone at Airtable or in this community to show me how to understand this ?Thanks ...

I’m trying to move a tool my organization uses from excel to airtable.Previously, we would update a data sheet in excel with components, and their individual unit costs. On another sheet, someone could enter the component name (ie, “widget”) and they’d excel would calculate the average cost of that component across the data set OR let someone know it’s not a component we’ve ever used. I’m okay with the “widget” query also returning results that include widget, such as “long widget.”Is there a good way to do this in Airtable? Am I wrong to think an interface is the best bet?

Where in Airtable do I look to find how many emails have been sent per day? And is it every 24 hours or per actual day?

Hello, I want to front load that I am annoyed and have been frustratingly trying to brute force this for two weeks with no luck. This is meant to be read with a neutral tone of voice.My issue: I operate a small nonprofit and have hit a brick wall trying to get airtable to work for what we need it to do. We have a beautiful form that we created, information populates great, but printing the completed form is impossible. I’ve tried creating it with the design tool, but that doesn’t work at all (it’s broken, we can’t even create something to test it), and we can’t afford to pay yet another company hundreds of dollars to do this for a platform that should have it built in.I’m surprised and rather irritated that this simple thing isn’t included in the pricetag for airtable… I have a staff of 5 and a minuscule budget. Additionally, we are facing a challenge when linking new records, as it appears that the records must be manually assigned by selecting a collaborator (i.e., current user filtered view).That’s the general overview.Key questions: Beyond linking collaborators to the current user, is it possible to associate users with a group and dynamically use that group to filter views in interfaces? I can’t be the only one who finds the edit field dialogue box for single and multiple select fields outrageously small, can I? If we have two or three dozen options, or even more, how are we supposed to manage them when we can only see three or four at a time? Is there an extension or something that helps with this?

Now that Airtable has added a Find Record action in automations (Yay!), I am wondering if anyone has figured out how to create an action in the event that a record is not found matching the criteria. I have found a need for this automation a few times. To give one example, here is a summary of a scenario: I have two tables - an “All Contacts” table and a “Submitted from Form” table. When someone submits their name, phone, town, state and email address, that info goes into the “Submitted from Form” table. When a record enters the “Submitted from Form” table, I want to search the “All Contacts” table to see if any record has a value in the email field that matches. If there is a matching value, then I want to update the record in “All Contacts” to the current info for the other fields. Hello - I've searched the discussions, but found no resolution to this issue - to display my database addresses on a map, I have to convert the addresses to GPS coordinates, which I've done - now to re-integrate the new columns with the coordinates into the Airtable base, I found the CSV import extension, which would work great... however, the option to merge by Record ID is not available, and I have no other way to merge them. We have branches of organizations with the same name multiple times - how can I get the same functionality but matching by Record ID?

Hello, my airtable is used within data within a project management platform I built in sotfr. my client portal users enter data via a softr modal which lands into the airtable and a softr table view that displays the entered data. Hi guys, I’m trying to find a way to insert a formula that calculates the expiration date of leases based on the commencement date and the number of months that the contract is for. So far, I have this: DATEADD({Commencement}, {Term (mos)}, ‘months’) This calculates the expiration date almost perfectly, but I need to find a way to take one day off of the formula. A 12 month lease starting on 03/01/21 would return 03/01/22, but the expiration would actually be the last day of February, not the first day of March, if that makes sense. How can I get the formula to subtract one day from the result? Thank you!
