Hello :) I’m not sure if this is possible but I would really appreciate any input or advice… I am overseeing the gig booking process for a band. I have 2 tables:Bookings EventsIn the Events table I have a summary field which concatenates various pieces of data about the event. I want to use this so that, when I am looking at the overall Booking, I can see a summary of all the info for each Events that is part of that Booking. The formula for this summary field is: CONCATENATE("\nEvent Name: "&{🟣 Event Name}&"\nDate: "&{🟣 Event Date (pretty)}&"\nEvent Time: "&{🟣 Event Time (pretty)}&"\nInfo on sound reqs: "&{Long text field 1}&"\nInfo about parking and dressing rooms: "&{Long text field 2}&"\n") At the moment I am pulling it into the Bookings table as a Lookup, but I think it c

Is there a way to make a photo (which I assume needs to be an "attachment" fied) clickable, where someone can click it to go to a URL? For example, I'd upload a photo of a dog and if they click it, it would go to pets.com.If not, is it possible to insert a clickable text link right underneath a photo?(The Pexels/button extension wouldn't work since I want to upload custom photos, in addition to trying to minimize expenses and complexity.)Thanks! I want a field that tells me if a volunteer shift is full, using the Volunteers Needed number field and the Volunteers Assigned linked records field. If I could write the code in plain English, something like:IF [number of records in Volunteers Assigned] is equal to or greater than {Volunteers Needed}, then display “YES”, IF lesser than, then display “NO” Checkbox field checked/unchecked instead of “YES” or “NO” text would also be cool but not necessary. I can figure out the IF part, but can I get the [number of records in Volunteers Assigned] just in the code, or do I need a Count field to find that and then use that Count field in the formula?

I want to make it simple for my users to copy a URL or long text field in an interface. I can add a button and it can copy the link to the record, or open the url in the record, but not “copy to clipboard”. What am I missing? This seems like a simple function that could be done?

Hi there, I have two tables:One that stores a sale One that stores interactionsEach sale has a date. Each interaction also has a date. There is a client dimension, each client can have multiple interactions. I can link to the interactions in the table where I see the sales. I'd like to calculate how many days are between the last interaction, and the actual sale. In my test, there are three interactions (note: European date notation):11/2/2025, 28/11/2024, 6/12/2024These are shown via a lookup value in my sales table.The sale is formatted as follows: 11/4/2025 08:10If I create a formula to calculate the number of days between last interaction and sales date, I get an incorrect answer: 20189I think this is because the dates are not treated as an array, but as one text string. Anyone an idea how to solve this? Thanks!

Hey guys, I have been seeing this “field color” option on list and grid elements in interfaces. Was wondering if anyone knows how it works? The pop out asks for field configurations, but I have yet to have a field that matches whatever configuration it’s looking for. Is this something up coming or am I just using it wrong? I have a table called table2 which is filled in with a form, and I don’t want the users to have to fill in all their user information every time they use the form.  So, I enabled ‘see who submitted response’ and created an automation which on form submission attempts to match the submitter’s email to an email in the user’s table, which is then copied into a linked email field in table2.  This allowed me to filter the list of entries via the form so users only see their own entries.   However, other linked fields in table 2 do not autopopulate. I was hoping when the automation filled in the email address in the linked field of table 2, all the other linked fields would populate.  Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

Hi -  I’m building a project and resource management AirTable for an agency. As a part of this I’d like to be able to show scoped hours against actual worked hours per person per project. As an agency that frequently has a variety of different people working on a variety of projects there has to be some flexibility built into this.  Setting up a scoped hour table per project is simple. Having actual hours that the team enter in rollup  filter by project is easy. Having actual hours filter by person is easy. The issue is filtering by both teammate and project.  Thank you for any help!  

I am in the process of building an order entry and work center scheduling system using Airtable, and I have the base functionality working well.  The basis of the data structure is that Orders are created with one or more Line Items to be produced.  Next, one or more Jobs are created and linked to each line item.  Each Job is assigned to a single Work Center and has a start and end date.I am experimenting with the various views and interface options in Airtable to find a good way to visualize the number of jobs scheduled for each work center by day (or week) for a given time frame, with the goal of identifying if any work centers are overloaded for any given day (or week).  I created a formula column in the Job table that calculates the Year and Week # for each job (ie.  2025-13   for the 13th week of 2025).  This allows me to group/sort/total chronologically by week.The best I came up with so far is a bar chart that has the week number on the Y axis and the Work Cente

Hello I have a column for my item cost and a column with the sales tax I paid. I want to create a formula in the third column that calculates my cost x sales tax percentage and then add the answer to the cost to get total cost. I did Cost * {Tax %} and get an error.

Hello,I want to calculate the length between a start and an end date. Seems easy, but the result is wrong for the fields that came from a lookup field.Below a screenshot from my base and my calculations.Here an explanation:Start Date = automatically set as record is created, formatted as “European” End Date = calculation, depending on how my record ended. This calculation is correct, so nothing wrong here. The format is set to “European”  Date moved to fridge = manually selected from calender End date option 2 = lookup field (original field is date that the record was created) End date option 3 = lookup field (original field is date that the record was created) Total days = wrong calculation: formula: DATETIME_DIFF({End Date}, {Start Date}, 'days') format: number Result is correct for manually selected date in date format

I’d like some enhancements to the View of Gallery Cards. I am running into a wall with this automation, hoping someone knows what I’m doing wrong. When a record in my Events table matches a condition, I am trying to build a Find a Record automation that finds a record in my Main Directory table where email in Main Directory is email in Events. I am getting an invalid filter error on my email field. Not sure what I’m doing wrong here. Ultimately I would like to update the retrieved record with data from Events, but I can’t get beyond the filter error.

Hey, I wonder how can I see or extract the database diagram of my base that I built here in Airtable. I there an easy way to do that? (the alternative hard way is to edit something in an external tool like https://dbdiagram.io/d) Regards.

Trying to link some fields and I keep getting this message - “No available sources to look up. Add a lookup source, then try to configure your lookup again.” I do have some fields linked but have run into this on others

I am using the event planning template and have entered my tasks. I am trying to create an interface of the tasks but my event is not showing up in the drop down. Is there a way to fix this?  

My table includes three date fields: Joined, Separated, and Date Rejoined, along with two formula fields: Prior Years and Total Years of Service.I’ve now added two additional fields: Date Separated 2 and Prior Years 2, to account for members who have separated and rejoined more than once. Some members join, then separate, later rejoin, and eventually separate again. I need to accurately track their total time as active members, excluding any periods when they were separated.The original formula for Total Years of Service worked well—until I had to include a second separation date.Here is the formula that worked originally but now I need to take into account the second separated date.If anyone can rewrite this for me, I would be grateful. I’m currently experiencing a service issue where scripts are just showing “In Progress...” and not completing.  Other automations are working fine.  I have two scripts that call external services, I’ve verified that both services are working properly.  I’ve restarted the automation.  Ive re-ran a run that was successful earlier today, and that one is in progress.  There seems to be an issue on the Airtable side...

For some reason, ALL of my automations across ALL of my bases are stalling on the Scripting Block step and I don’t know why… I’m pretty sure this is an Airtable outage issue, but I’m curious if others are also seeing the same thing.  I’ve tried contacting Airtable support and it seems to go nowhere… super frustrated...

Hi there!I've been playing with the Utilization summary grouped by Assignee in the Project Management template and am trying to figure out if there is a task that is assigned to multiple users show up in each users field and have the time spilt evenly.I see that you can have the time split evenly in the properties settings but when a task has multiple users it shows as a task in whatever the combination of users is because I've grouped by User. I'd rather see the task in both users individual grouping with time split equal.Any one run into this and have a solution?

Anyone else seeing this? On the simplest scripts, like ```console.log(‘hello world’);```I’m getting a “Running...” in tests until it times out, no errors or console logs whatsoever. Scripts that have been working for years are all of a sudden not functioning.

The persistent comments panel on the right side of the Interface Designer can be distracting and takes up valuable screen space—especially when working with detailed layouts or limited screen real estate. It would be great to have the option to collapse or hide this panel to improve focus and design flexibility without needing to disable the feature.Would love to see this added to enhance the usability of the interface builder.Thanks!
