Hello,we run an agency and for every client we have a different base. The base is almost identical for every client. We now have access to the business plan, and we want to use a master base to consolidate the data from every client into one base, so that we can benchmark our performance as a whole, and dive deeper into every client if we wish. We have a table called KPIs in every client base. The KPIs are always the same. For that reason I have created the same base in our master base, and I am now syncing data from master into each client base. We also have a projects table for every client, which includes 3 fields (primary metric, secondary metric, tertiary metric). These field are linked records from the KPI table. In the KPI table (for each client) we can then see how many times a KPI has been used for that client, and the overall uplift for a KPI with a client. I want the same information to be shown in the KPI table in our master base, but then for all cl

I'd like to: Identify fields with duplicate values Keep only the most recently created record, deleting all other duplicate older records Run the process and be done However, I also want this to apply automatically to newly created records. Hello!  TIA for any help!  I'm creating a base for Donor Management and have run into a challenge.  I'm building an interface for Fundraising Campaign tracking.  The main Interface is a Record View layout.  Potential donors are loaded into a table and then viewed via this Interface.  When you click on a potential donor, it loads their contact information and the tracking data below it, as you can see in this screenshot.  *I've removed the sensitive data! Because the potential donors are linked into the campaigns, all their contact information is not editable in this Interface.  I'm generally okay with that, but I'd like to include a button that would let users open a donor's page for editing, possibly using the Contacts Interface you can see in the menu bar at the top.  Is there a way to create a link that would so

Hello, I have a table where one column is a relationship to itself. So I can links records to each other.I’d like to have another column where I show the linked records. Sort of like a Lookup what records are linking to a specific record.I found this 3 year old thread, but it has no solution offered here: Is this something I could do today?

When indenting a numbered list in the Airtable rich text field, the Level 1 numbering is working properly. However, the level 2 is not unique to level 1 and continues on the sequence from the previous level 1 line. Ideally, I could have a list organized like below:step one… Note regarding step one… step two Note regarding step two… Any idea on a quick fix for this? 

My company publishes books and the titles of the books often change throughout the course of the publication process. We currently ingest records via a CSV download from our title management platform that is manually uploaded to Airtable. We already have an automation that deletes or rolls up duplicate titles. Currently, when a book title changes, it is viewed by Airtable as a new record. Is there a way to have Airtable check the upload and see that the ISBN is the same and update the record title rather than create a new record? Example: Title ISBN ORIGINAL TITLE 123 NEW TITLE 123  Instead of creating a new record for “NEW TITLE”, I would like Airtable to see that the ISBN is the same and update “ORIGINAL TITLE” with “NEW TITLE”.  Thanks!

Hello, Been very busy and I suspect I’m going blind with what’s probably (hopefully) a simple data flow. As a picture says a thousand words, my problem is as per below; I can self link a record to its own table with a lookup field, which in this example I consider that as “Pushes to” - So A pushes to B. But what I’m needing, is another column that tells me the reverse of that relationship, so I can see that “B” is pulling from A - and then even create a filtered view around that very “Pulls From” data. I’m keen for your thoughts on this, hoping there’s something simple that I’ve missed that will allow this workflow. But I also have access to scripts/automations too if they’re the only way out of this.

I have two separate AirTable bases that I’m using to track our orders and inventory. I just upgraded from a free account because I wanted to be able to sync information from the two bases to be able to compare orders to inventory side by side. I’ve created a new base and synced tables from each existing base but cannot figure out how to get data from one table into either the other table or a new table. I’ve tried lookup fields and linking to new record fields and can’t get a new field to populate with information from the other table. Is this not possible or hopefully I’m just missing a simple solution?

I am collecting grades for students, a few of the grade types have subcategories that need to be averaged (some of the nomenclature is strange as it’s being translated from another language). I need to calculate a “Values” score by averaging the “Honesty”, “Empathy”, “Lucidity”, Performance”, “Respect” scores. I’m trying to keep the table design very simple as we will need to eventually translate and teach non-English speakers how to use it.  Is there a way to calculate averages only for select rows, by student? (I would like to calculate a Values score and a Property Respect score by averaging the relevant subcomponents). I understand I can see it with a View, but I want to be able to calculate the actual number to put in a clean interface view. And if I need to collect this data monthly, are the columns I have for Month/Year the best way to do that, and we would just continue adding rows? 

Is there still no way to create reusable code in Automations?I see this thread from 2021, with 6k+ views, which seems to have no resolution (blockchaining is possible in Scripting Apps, but not Automations).  Someone must have solutions for this?  Copying/pasting seems prehistoric.

Cannot get this Switch to work and its very simple.  I have a field that has the year of the record stored as a number (ie 2025).  I can easily get this to work with these arguments as a singular IF, but I dont want to nest 5 Ifs. The below will not function, doesnt even give an error, wont even let me save it. Hello! I am trying to set up a work request form, and am stuck on one part. I’m not sure whether I need to use formulas or automations, but I’ve scoured help videos and articles to no avail trying to find what I’m looking for. I would like to have a numerical Work Order ID (basically a consecutive numerical number) added to a record field as soon as the record is created. Ideally, I’d love for it to take this form (Year-####), as that’s the current system we use, but I’d settle for just a unique numerical number for each new record created. I’m sure this is simpler than I’m making it out to be, but any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I’m trying to integrate SAP Business One (SAP B1) Service Layer API with Airtable scripting to fetch business partner data. The integration works perfectly in Postman and Python, but when I run the same API request inside an Airtable scripting block, I get the following error:401 - Invalid session or session already timeout. What I’ve Tried: Confirmed that it works in Postman and Python I can successfully authenticate and fetch data from SAP B1. Hi! Very new to this process and Airtable, so I’m sorry if this is confusing/doesn’t have enough to go on, or uses the incorrect terminology. If anything needs clarification please just ask!
