Hi EveryoneI’m sure that this has been done before but I can’t seem to get anything I try to work Im looking to create a forula filoed that looks up and displays the PAYE Month a date in another field falls into for example 17/04/2024 would lookup and display PAYE Month 102/10/2024 would display PAYE month 620/08/2025 would display PAYE Month 5  I am dealing with the tax year in another field so I dont want to worry about the year below is the parameters I have tried if statements I have tried a switch example but cant get anything to work  I have tried setting a year start date and using dateAdd to add on the number days after the year start  but I just not getting anything to work right  If someone could point me in the right direction I would be really gratefullCheersJackieFrom Date

 Not sure what to title this.In a record detail interface page, there is the option to add a button and perform an action. (Yes, love it!) But it doesn’t seem like the option exists here to add a new record in a different base via a form—the dropdown on the right doesn’t seem to allow it. And unfortunately, “Interface Forms” for some reason still don’t count as “Interface Pages”, so I can’t click on “Go to interface page” and click on my form.The best current option seems to be “Go to external URL”, and put in the URL of the form. But that seems to only open my desired form inconsistently:open external URL in same tab = overwriting my current page, and there’s no way to complete that form, then hit a “back” button to get back to my record detail open external form URL in new tab = often it just does

I need to create a test/quiz for my employees in order for them to be certified in a subject area.I'd like to create a form with 30 questions, each question with up to 4 multiple choice answers.  I have an answer key, indicating which of the answers is correctIs there a way for the employee to complete the form and submit and AT automatically compares the answers to the answer key and provides the number answers correct and the percentage of answers correct out of 100.

I’m currently a Pro user and I’m considering an upgrade to Enterprise. I’d like to know if the following workflow is possible with Enterprise. A billable collaborator creates a form for a Base in their Enterprise Workspace. The billable collaborator shares the form with a non-billable collaborator from their domain. The non-billable collaborator accesses the form, authenticating with SSO prior to seeing the actual form fields. The non-billable collaborator submits the filled form, and their user ID is passively submitted along with the other form values. (I suppose this ID would be the email address they used to authenticate with SSO.) A billable collaborator can see the new record (with the ID of the user who submitted it) in a grid view. Hi! I created a base and interface for a game I have been playing, Schedule 1. Yes, it is a game where you create drugs based on different combinations and then sell those drugs :P. I have included a public view of it below. I have it basically how I want it, but I need a way, anyway, toFrom the drugs table, have a view that pulls the Teir 1 drug from any drug that isn’t a T1 drug. And then display in each row, the T1 drug, the different mixed supplies, and the drug effects.The challange is, in the game, when you make the drugs, they randomize the names after mixing. So, what for me, mixing ‘Aspen Grool’ which is a T3 drug, might be called something different for another user. It would be rather daughting to dig through each drug combo and source it back to the T1 drug, so I was hoping there was a way to do it in a formula or view or something. Thoughts? 

Can anyone tell me how I would write a formula that will return the lowest date from a series of dates? this would be very simple in excel, but it seems impossible  

Hello,  I am currently trying to send an Airtable automation where it bulk emails people from a table. However, I am in the ‘To’ section to send an email, but I can’t find an option under ‘Current item from List of records’ that has just a general statement of ‘Applicant Email’. Currently, it’s showing a specific Applicant Email, but I want to send more than this person. This is also happening for the message when I am trying to include their names. I’ve attached one of the screenshots as a reference.  Can someone help me resolve this issue please? 

The problem: Our manufacturer will ship the contents of a Purchase Order as they are made and ship the remaining products when completed. We have had several occurrences of not knowing what’s coming and what is left until it arrives and we open the box. (We have a middle man, there is no direct comms with the supplier). My goal: Build an interface that the manufacturer can open, select the PO number, and input how much of each SKU is in the upcoming shipment, and put in the tracking number. Where I’m at: I have a Master Products Base with all of my SKUs in one table, and purchase orders in another table. I can add my skus from the products table into each PO, but I can’t assign each sku an order qty within the PO record.The other nuanced issue is that sometimes PO’s overlap and we will have the same SKUs on multiple POs. I want to be able to assign different order quantiti

Hey All,I am trying to add a button to an interface which will simply duplicate the existing record the interface is looking at.  The Interface is a quote builder and we often want to make different iterations of a quote for a customer.  I know we can simply go to the grid view, find the record, right click and duplicate the record, but I am trying to not give my sales team access to that level of data.  You know how sales teams are.  😉 I imagine a script of some sort would work, but I'm more of a no-code guy, so I'm looking for some help.  Thank you for your time.

I have a list of names in the format John Smith MD or John Smith, MD (some with commas, some without) and I’d like them to be in the format Dr. Smith. Is there a formula that can do that for me?

I am new to Airtable and created my first form a few days ago using the new Form Builder interface. After the fact, I realized there was a field I hadn't included that I'd like to prefill. I read through all the various instructions on prefilling by altering the URL - all makes sense to me - but I can't figure or WHERE to do the URL edit in the Form Builder interface? I can copy the form URL to the clipboard, but WHERE to I put it where the alteration to the URL will be pulished and saved?Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

NPO TEAM ACCOUNT (just to let folks know)So I love having master sync tables and create views off them for different usages in a base.For example: I have a common base for State and Country, absolutely love this, and use it across a lot of our bases for different purposes.In our CRM we use it for Contact, Company, Communities, Speaker/Facilitator Bureau, Charity Compliance, and Grants tables.  There are some privacy requirements, and access controls that we have in place.I have set a VIEW -  States, just for lookup that does not show ANY other fields except the STATES field.So why if the view doesn’t show any of the other fields (where it is being used in the other tables) why does the individual record show. And then when I open it up - I see all the other areas I

My Make.com module is returning "Status Code Error: 403" and I can't connect up my Airtable. I initially had it working and then created some new bases, so I generated a new Personal Access Token. Not working. Have tried different permissions. Logging out, logging in (I know). Etc.  Any suggestions?

I’m exporting data to a pdf via Typeflow. One of the fields is a Link to multiple records, which happen to be street addresses.  When I export the data to a pdf, the default view is to separate each linked record by a comma.  I’m trying to create a line break instead of a comma.   I created a formula field with SUBSTITUTE(Addresses,”,”,”\n), however the street addresses contain commas, so this didn’t work. Any ideas for another work around?   Huge thanks in advance.  Current format:Record 1, Record 2, Record 3 Desired format:Record 1Record 2Record 3etc

Hello, I help run a nonprofit that has a mentoring program where both mentors and mentees apply and then we make matches between them, and this is the first year we’re using Airtable to help power this.I have two tables within the same base: one for mentors, who have filled out a form and indicated topics that they are interested in mentoring, and then another for mentees, who filled out a different form and indicated topics they would like to be mentored on. Both “topics” fields have the same list that fills in a multiselect field.I have a junction table (“Match”) setup to be able to link mentor+mentee, but I’m running into a lot of difficulties automating the process.Ideally, here’s what I’d like:An automation that goes through every entry in the Mentor list, and then for each Mentor, adds every potential Mentee match to the junction table if any topic matches, and A field for each match in the junction table that tells us how man

Hi everyone ! I am trying to authenticate a request using Basic Auth. I then need to base64-encode my logins. (could encode them manually and then insert but would prefer to keep that logic in the code) I didn’t found how to achieve this “natively” without rewriting the entire encoding function. btoa() does not seems to work :confused: Can anyone help me on this ? I am trying to solve the problem with dates validation.The prerequisites are:A date field to check A text string where days of the week AND times of the operation of an establishment are stored. This string might have a format of:H24 or DLY 1500-0530 or MON-FRI 0700-2300 SAT SUN 0800-2300 or MON 0415-1415 1900-2000 TUE THU 0600-1300 1830-1930 WED 1800-2000 FRI 0415-2000 SAT 1400-1600 SUN 0415-0730 1200-1415 1900-2000I need to check if the date in the date field falls into these periods of time and use the result TRUE/FALSE. Any idea on how to create a formula will be greatly appreciated. I have a table where you can chose a proposal number and in another column you can add an amount. In another table (linked to the first one) I want to be able to chose a specific proposal number and sum all the amounts related to that specific proposal number. In the second table I have a rollup but it only includes the first amount associated to the proposal number. For example if a specific proposal has 4 entries (same proposal number but 4 different amounts on 4 rows) it only includes the first amount and omits the rest. Any thoughts on why this is? Thanks!

The amount of bugs and lack of feature parity between Android and iOS is astounding. Is this something that Airtable is working on actively? For example linked records on a mobile interface. There are totally different views for Android and iOS, and the functionality between the two is completely different. iPhones can only add linked records from the "pill" view (which is a bug with the card view for iPhones only), but the pill view has an android bug that doesn't let them add new records through a form from pill view! It feels like I can't win.Android also currently crashes when opening any attached files, or attempting to add any attachments (easily replicable, try for yourself). Android also has no ability to click interface detail view buttons.This is some very critical functionality that has been promised to clients and is not working how intended.These issues are more or less brushed off when I reach out to support. This might be a bug or I’m doing something wrong. I have a self-linking field in the object_types table called parent that establishes a child parent relationship between types. In my part_object table I lookup the part’s parent’s object_type. The desired behavoir is that any part that is a child of an assembly will only display object types that are a child of that assemblies object type.  When I set this up I’m not getting anything. Either I’m missing something or there is a bug with dynamic filters for self-linking relationships. Anyone have any experience with dynamic filters for self-linking relationship fields?
