Hi! I’m creating an automations on Balances table. I need to track all the changes in the table. I have a possibility to create an automation when the record is created or updated. But how can I run an automation (to run a script) when the record is deleted? Thank you!

Hello everyone, I have two tables: Pre-production and Production. I was able to make an automation so if I "approve" a project submitted through form to Pre-production table, a new record is created in Production with the same name and info. Now I want to make an automation so if the info in Pre-production table is updated, it will also update the same info in the Production table. But I keep getting an error. What am I doing wrong? 

Hi. I'm creating a base that would be populated by the form. There'll be some fields that will be handled inside the base by paid users. I've created an automation that would send an email to a departement once the status changes. People would get a link to that record so they can change the status but when I tested it, an airtable account that isn't in our workspace doesn't have the ability to access that record. Is there a workaround that would allow people who are not in workspace to interact with  the base through the link generated in the automated email? All we want them to do is to change the status.I'm attaching a few screenshots. What we want is to have the user see the record as in the screenshot named airtable4. Thank you! 

Hello! I'm trying to set up automations so that each time a new form is submitted, an email notification is sent to 4 different email addresses. However, I get this error message: "Cannot email non-collaborators on the current billing plan."The problem is that the email addresses are from my bosses, who are the ones actually paying for the Airtable plan, so I don't understand why they are considered non-collaborators? I appreciate the help on this issue, I'm new to Airtable. Thanks!

Hi there!I have the airtable with employees' timesheets (start & end of shift, hours worked, location) and I want to automate (or by clicking something) the shift summary from a certain day (e.g. today). For example, I want to see the timesheet summary from today and see all the details there - name, start and end of the shift, hours worked, and location. How can I do it in Airtable and send it via telegram messenger or email?Thank you in advance!

(Cities have Account linked to them; Accounts have People linked to them; and People have Activities linked to them).When creating new Activity records, we have "Activity Tags" that are multi-select for our different organizational programs.We have already created a lookup field in the People table to see what Activities our various People have participated in. Hi, I am trying to automate a process whereby if a record in one table is not empty, it will automatically create a duplicate record in a different table, filling in some select fields.To be specific:I have a table called tasks. It has a URL field called "output" which typically links to a google doc:I also have a table called "Resources" which I will usually populate independently, but in the cases where there is a task connected to the resource, I want it to automatically create a new record.I was able to make it work in a test, however it only worked for the test record.How do I make it such that all records that fit the condition "not empty" will trigger the creation of a new record. Hello! I am trying to create a template that will do the following: Any person can "register" an event via the "Forms" link to a calendar. When the calendar moves from month to month, the previous events "drop off" the grid view, while the upcoming events remain. I wanted to know if this was possible? Thanks!

HelloI have a typeform with 50+ questions. When I am mapping it to AirTable, I am required to map it field by field - which requires me to go into AirTable and create a header for each individual question. This seems quite cumbersome, is there a faster method that I am not figuring out? Secondly, what happens in the future if an additional question was added to typeform - I assume without it being mapped, there would be data loss. I am doing this for a client and need to ensure best practices. This process also exists in reverse where I've got the typeform extensive from the AirTable database.  Thanks in advance. 

Hi there - I’m trying to have an e-mail fire whenever anyone fills in a form. Two questions: I’ve set it up and it just doesn’t seem to be working. The test failed, and when I try creating a record using my own email address, the automated email doesn’t come through. I am on the free plan and there is a notice saying “On your billing plan, you may only email collaborators with verified emails.” - does this mean I need to upgrade for it to work? I this why it’s not working? Many thanks!

Hello. I am currently on the "Team" plan and by mistake one of our collaborators ended the available automations. Because from this workspace we manage two companies we need to resolve it urgently, although unfortunately after 24 hours of contacting the Airtable Team we still have no response.The recommended solution is to upgrade the current plan. Given that it is a specific situation that should not be repeated, what would be the best way to resolve it? It's okay if I have to pay.1 - Upgrade my current plan to the Business Plan, hoping that this will reset the automation count and then return to my current plan.2 - Since my current plan is annual, if I keep it (not upgrade) but change it to a monthly plan, will this reset the automation count?If you have any other solution I would appreciate it.It seems like a very bad idea to have to change your plan because you made a mistake. A change of plan should only be due to permanent needs of the company

I'm having trouble updating a date field with results from a formula. Please helpMy desired outcome is the following: When the user updates the "last communication date" field, then Airtable will automatically update the "next communication date" to be 7 days after the "last communication date." Running into an issue with automations. The command is if zip code contains x then update Region to x (Ex: If zip code contains "77033" then update Region field to say "Region 7") . Some zip codes overlap multiple regions. I set the Region field to allow multiple values thinking that would resolve any overlap issues. The problem is if I have 77033 in both Region 7 and Region 8, then I want the Region field to reflect both 7 and 8. As you can see in the screenshot I have created 7 total automations for each region and have listed the zipcodes for each of the 7 regions under each command. The command is failing for zip codes that are under multiple regions.

I have two automations set up that send me reminder emails when my records hit a specific date condition.  It is a "days remaining" type of condition.  I want to wake the base up every morning so that it can update the records and send the appropriate reminder emails.  Do I need to have the schedule automation first in the list so that it performs that first or does it not matter?

I have WooCommerce orders being added as a new record to a AirTable table called "Orders".  I want to add a checkbox besides each row when the order comes in that will move certain information from the "Orders" table to another table in AirTable called "Fulfillment".  This "Fulfillment" table has rows pre-populated with Data. Is there a way to add data from one AirTable table to another table that already has some data in certain columns/cells?

Hello,This has probably been covered before, but I can't find it. I have an automation that sends an email when a User has been assigned to a Milestone and that Milestone has a status set to "To Do". Right now I can only set up the automation individually by person. How do I set up or code it to send notification to the [assigned user] so I don't have to set up an automation 35 times. Hi All,As a background, I currently have three tables in the same base.1) An Idea Submission Table2) A Rubric Table3) A Summary TableIndividuals were able to use a Form to link their rubric scores to specific ideas. This created a column in the Idea Submission Table called 'Rubric' which linked all of the ideas with their specific rubrics.I now need to take all of the rubrics and score the averages - something that I am able to do by linking the individual Rubric Scores on a third table called by Summary Score Table. However, I realized that rather than do it manually, I already had all of the linked scores.I created a lookup column, and I am able to bring them in to the Table. However, they are not populating the scores. So, I was thinking I needed to use the second lookup column I have, which DOES WORK for Average Scores - but it will not let me copy and paste those linked records into this linked records lookup, and I cannot figure

I am a new user of AirTable. I have a very long table that is currently being updated (by multiple users). So new records are being added/deleted to this table. Within this table, I need to create a linkage column to show that certain rows are "related/connected". I can currently only manually type the text of the linked row ID (as a text in a column called "related record"). Is there a way to truly link the multiple rows within the same table?Because the table (A) is constantly being edited, I can't use the option of creating another table that duplicate table A.  Also, I do not want to create another table that simply show record 100 and record 110 are related in Tabe A. Thanks! 

Hi, I want to write a script that automatically deletes duplicates as soon as something new is added to the table. Basically it should work similar to the Dedupe extension, but be automated to save time.I only want to delete rows which are identically in each field. It's my first time trying to automate a function with Airtable. Hi,I need to sync an Airtable base with another system via API. Currently, I am using Make/Integromat to run the HTTP request and then iterate through the responses to check Airtable to see if a record exists and then either update it if it does exist, or add a new record if it doesn't already exist. I run this daily. There are about 5,000 records currently, so the automation runs in Make add up each day. Lately, I have been doing more with the native Airtable automations using javascript, and I have an idea to try to use an Airtable automation to sync the data, essentially cutting out the Make scenario. It seems to me that reducing tools would streamline things and make them simpler. My question for you is if you think it is feasible for me to run a daily automation in Airtable that would send an HTTP GET request to the remote system, which will return a big JSON response with all of the remote records and their fields.
