Hi Team,I've one particular requirement that if  I can replicate records from one base to another, especially when these bases are located in different accounts.  I'm aware of Airtable's robust automation features and wonder if there's a solution or workaround for achieving cross- airtable account automation. In simple words, I'm interested in a process where, when data enters into one base automatically adds that same record to a corresponding base in a different Airtable account.

Hello,I have an automation that updates the Invoice Table paid column with a checkmark when we receive a Payment in the Payments Table with a matching invoice number. We now have noticed that clients may pay the invoice twice. To document this, I wanted to have a linked column (to my payment table) in my Invoice table that links the matching payment. My automation currently updates the invoice base and will populate the 1 linked record, however if a 2nd charge comes, it replaces the record. I know it is possible to link multiple records in one field (and use rollup function) as I have done this before, but I am struggling with the automation populating both linked records and keeping them. Any solutions? Thanks!

Hello, as of this morning, any PDFs that I attach via the Make integration will no longer open in a preview window, but instead tries to download a file without an extension.  This Make scenario has been running for months without issue, with hundreds of PDFs attached in the manner per day - all being able to open up in Airtable without an issue.  But as of this morning, nothing added today will open properly.  Any attachments added yesterday still open fine.  Any ideas what is happening here?Edit - apparently this is only happening on this specific Base.  If I run a Make scenario to add an attachment to a different Base - it attaches fine and opens normally.  But then if I change it to attach to my primary Base, the same download issue occurs.  I need to get it back to working normally on this primary Base.  This is what I have determined so far:1.  Only is affecting my primary ba

New to AirtTable automation and surprised this hasn't been asked before, but I couldn't find anything in docs or here. I've got a repeating group set up using List of Records as the Input list. The list of records is only 8 rows long.For each record, I want to run a script. In that script I want to access one of the values from the record currently being iterated over. I was hoping this was passed through `input.config()`, but dumping that reveals only what I manually add as an Input variable.I had this in the script itself, using `selectRecordsAsync` and iterating over each record. However, the operation exceeded the 30second limit, so I thought a repeating group would be better.  thanks

Hello y’all! I’m trying to run an automation on multiple linked records from one record, but it doesn’t work because the action expects one record id. Do you know a way to achieve this? My scenario is this: I have an invoice linked to multiple purchase records from another table I want to fill in a delivered date field on the invoice record and fill the purchase records dates using the automation. Why not use a lookup field? Because sometimes there are partial deliveries or the products are damaged and returned. These would be manually corrected then. All the best!

Hi, I am trying to automate the process of creating available timeslot (15mins duration) for clients to book in appointments via an online form on Airtable. Could someone help out with a script that I can use to automate creating timeslot records for example, from 8:30am to 4:00pm between 4 September to 8 September?Thank you!Currently, I have set up the record manually like screenshot below. 

Is there a way to fetch just one record or take the first/last one from the returned list? In table A I have a record with an email. In table B, I also have records with their emails. I need to update A record with B attributes but they come from different sources and are not associated - they just have the same emails.

Hello! I work for an event facility and we are trying to automate our calendar with a submission form. The idea is that when a new form is submitted with an event name, date and time that it will be automatically added to Google calendar. With the current automation, it syncs the date with google calendar, but defaults to 12pm for the time for everything submitted. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to make this work? Thanks! Jamie

I've made a Record Template that creates multiple records. I want to write a script that runs this a bunch of times and fills in some of the fields based on a form submission. I can't find any way to access and run a record template from a script. Any help or other ideas would be greatly appreciated. If I can't figure this out I guess I'll just script the whole process and skip using the record template but I'm not proficient in scripting yet so I'll need to learn a lot to do this.

I am sending an email automation with a grid of records included in the body of the email. The grid of records includes the time zone UTC in the field. I dont want this included.I have included the formatting settings of the start and end date fieldsIs there anyway to turn this off? Thanks!

Dear Community,I hope someone can help me with the following issue...I have an automation sending out an email for a record ("shipment" table) with attachments. The attachment(s) come by lookup from my "inventory" table. Now, as some inventory items may have the same attachment (eg. an invoice covering several inventory items/lines) I consequently get several same attachments pulled to the "shipment". How can I tell airtable or my automation to ignore files with same filename when sending out email for a record ("shipment" table) with attachments. It's hard to explain, but I hope someone will see my issue. 🙂 Kai 

Would it be possible to activate an automation in Airtable (send a form), with a trigger in Figma?Every time someone gets tagged in Figma, the form should be send to the tagged person. 

Afternoon, all,I have an automation which fills in a select field based on a linked field's id.If the item doesn't exist in the select field already, it automatically creates a new item in the field.However, every time the new item is created by the automation it's blue. Every new item is always blue.Is this a bug? When we add them manually (which we don't want to do - hence why we automated it) they are colourised.Here is the field,Any clues, or help much appreciated. Thank you.Best, DanC 

We keep our org chart in Airtable. It includes who Person A reports (as a link to another record) to as well as their contact info and photo.The automation I'm trying to set up would remove the manager that Person A reports to when the manager leaves our organization. We have a status that is "No longer employed", so I'd like the automation to be triggered by that and then remove the manager from any employees they're assigned to.I can get to a certain point, but I keep setting it up in a way that would just update the manager record rather than the folks they manage.TIA for the help!

Hi. I am creating a version of an automation that I didn't create. I have duplicated it, added a trigger and updated some copy in the code but I have a configuration error. Hey AirTable Community! I am having trouble with Automations. I have my trigger (When a new record is created). When selecting my Action (send an email), I select all the fields I want to display on the email, but when I test it, it’s only pulling certain values, but most of them are left blank, even though the cell has actual information on it (linked from another record & tab) Any solutions to solve this? Hi there I’m not even sure I’m asking the right question here because I know nothing about coding and I’m aware I’m going to need a script here. I have a table with data in it that I want to use to populate a Contract Proforma in Google Docs that I’ve created through Integromat. I’ve managed to get it working through the Created Trigger that comes automatically in Integromat but I’d now like to be able to make it happen by clicking a button in the Record in Airtable. I think this is done via Webhooks. I’ve generated the Webhook in Integromat but I don’t know the code to use to get the correct data sent across. Thanks in advance

I'm using pre-filled forms in an automation to update a value in the Main table. (The form of course creates a new record in the Updates table.) The update form that works is updating a Single Line text field in the Main table, with a value coming from a Single Line text field in the Updates table.Where I'm have trouble is when the fields to update in the Main table are either a Date field or a Single select field. In those instances, the target field in the Main table does not get updated, and is now empty.I guess there's a compatibility problem with differing field types. I tried making the field type in the Update table Date fields or Single select fields (with the selectable items in its drop-down.)I get this error in the automation:H

Hello,I have an automation set up to remind salespersons that an incoming job is scheduled and ready. Everything works except when I try to send the automated email the Salesperson field is not inputting their email and the configuration is not allowing me to select email. Hello, I have an automation to send an email everytime a record is updated. The team will go in and make multiple edits at a time and they would like to receive one email at the end of each day with the updates, rather than receiving 20 emails in one sitting. When I try to schedule an email, it doesn't let me reference back to the "updated record" that I need. But trigger by "when an update is made" doesn't seem to allow me to batch emails. Any ideas?

Hi, I want to create an automation that updates "Table B" when a new record is created in "Table A""Table A" contains customer information; some are new customers, some are returning customers. Returning customers will have multiple records, new customers will only have one."Table B" is linked to "Table A" and has a rollup field which identifies the most recent record for each customer.Each time a new record is created in "Table A" I want it to link to an existing record in "Table B" if it is a returning customer, or create a new record in "Table B" for new customers. The end result will be multiple customer information records in "Table A" showing all entries for each customer and one record per customer in "Table B" showing only the most recent entry.I'm sure this is straightforward but each time I try I just end up with a new record in "Table B" for each new record in "Table A."Please can someone help?Thanks
