In two different bases, I have just noticed a few automations that were disabled (they have been working just fine for the past year)....there's a triangle with an exclamation point inside of it. There's no message or indication as to why they were disabled and I was not notified of this by Airtable....someone submitted a form and didn't hear back from us so they sent us an email and that's how I found out about it.I turned most of the automations on just fine, but one of them just won't turn back on. When I try to turn it on, it hangs there for a few seconds and then turns itself back off. I have tested the automation and it works fine. I made a duplicate of the automation, tested that and it works just fine but that one also won't stay turned on.The automation doesn't link to any 3rd party apps (I saw some suggestion of this in this troubleshooting page), but it does s

Hello, I have been trying to update a single select type field. The problem is that I need to watch for newly created records in another table and use a specific field value from this created record to add to the single select field.Is there a way to update a single select field using automations ?Or is there a way to automate a script from the script

Hi I am trying to create an automation where a record in one table (New Listing) is updated by submission and record creation in another table (Sold). Example: Record sits in New Listing and then a form is submitted in Sold, then a record is created in the Sold table. I want this to then update the status of the record in New Listing to Sold?Can this be done? Thanks

Hello, I'm really enjoying building for the first time in Airtable but need some help creating a script (if that's the best approach).I have a form where users will put in 3 comma separated words to describe the Niche they work in.I want to turn this column into tags, so that I can group records by common Niche.My understanding is that I need to write a script to go inside an automation that fires when that field is not empty on a new record (when the form is filled in). And takes the text, parses it based on the commas and then adds it to my Tags column which is a multi-select field.I've tried using claude.ai and chatgpt to write the script portion but they're failing! I'm confident a real human can help me!cheersjonny

Having an issue where multiple paragraphs in AirTable are showing the same bullet point of 1. Rich text is enabled but it isn't working correctly (it shows up correctly in Make.com but doesn't transfer over from AirTable)Please help, thanks!

Hi All,I have an automation issue coming from a formula field.The lookup field is coming from Tasks table, and the regions are repetitive, so i created a formula to make it as a text and im hoping the automation will take the Regions Text to a normal editable field 'TASKS - Regions', but it updates it with a blank value in the end (the blue circle in the end). Hello everybody, I have a weird problem with a gmail automation. When testing the automation works perfectly. The automation looks for a field value that is greater than 4 and then the actions are run. When manually changing the a value in the record that is used for the automation to a value greater than 4 the automation also runs perfectly. But when the automation its run automatically I suddenly get the following error in the logs: It doesn’t make any sense that this automation suddenly throws errors when it is run automatically, but every other way of running it works fine. Also, when this same automation is run again manually it just works… Someone any idea what’s going on?

I've been trying for two weeks to create some automations with integromat but i can't find a solution, can someone explain me step-by-step the necessary integromato flow (i'm sorry but i haven't knowledge in the field).I have a two tables in Airtable, OR and RA. The two most important fields in OR are: Name and Surname, Machineries and Last Modified (Machineries is a multiple choice field). When i select one or more machineries in OR i would like that every single machine will be automatically saved in RA, each machine in a different row with the associated name and surname, so that i can save in each row the time the machine has started working and the time it stopped, in order to compound the utilization of the machine.Trying to do this process i incurred in many problems, when i deselect a machine from OR it does not delete the record from RA, but it duplicates the record of the remaining machines; when i select an extra machine the new machine is saved but the

HiIn my base I have a very simple table, the records primary field is a number, each new record is the previous number plus one. All the other fields are formulas or links to other tables that fill in automatically. Each week I need to create a new record in this table at a given time, I want to do this with an automation. I want to find the most recently created record (not recently updated as other fields will update at different times) find the name of the record +1 to it and name the new record that value. Is this possible? Maybe with a script, which is a bit beyond me. I can't seem to figure out a way to do it. Thanks for the help.

There are two tables and two automations involved in a workflow.1. When a record enters a view in the first table(the sync table), it will be updated in the second table (1st image)2. When a record is updated in first table(the sync table), it will be updated in the second table (2nd image)Both automations find a record where Ticket No. contains IDAn issue is there is an error from both automations (see an image below). I have a base with two tables: the first is a basic table with a list of records that change somewhat frequently. The second table has a multi-select field whose options should be whatever records are in the first table-view.I'd love to have a script that goes to the multi-select field in table 2, deletes all of the options in it currently, and then replaces the options with the records in table 1. The idea would be to put that script in an automation that runs once a day at midnight, ensuring the options in the multi-select field are always up-to-date.Any idea how to write this script?

I am going crazy trying to narrow down this error. I'm trying to automate payment creation based a date, number of payments, amount, and a linked record. I will eventually layer in frequency as well. I have an automation set up and the test is sucessful, when its running I can see in the logs that emails are sent as expected but we are not receiving any of the emails.I saw another post which referenced some bounced emails and AirTable blovking their domain as a result, this was removed and the problem was solved. Another said maybe account had not been verified, I can't see this as the issue from following the instructions too.Checked Junk, Spam etc. but no luck, happening for me and all users who are shown as being sent emails on the logs.Any help would be appreciated, as appears I can't speak to support, which is odd!

I have another table in the same base that lists all the applicants along with many other fields of interest, and I have created a field called 'MCQ score'.I need to find a way to have the 'MCQ score' field (in the applicants table) automatically update every time a new entry appears in 'MCQ score' field in the second table.Essentially, I need it to recognise the email address the applicants add to the MCQ questionnaire, match it up with the correct applicant (based on the matched email addresses) and then automatically enter the score into the 'MCQ score' field. Hello, I am attempting to create an automation which will take compare records from two separate pages and then input values from one page into another based. I have the system working for finding and inputting the data from one page to another, but the issue is that the source page has repeated entries for the same conditions (example: there are 3 entries for the name daniel, where the name is being used as a condition).Is there a way to have the "Find record" action remove repeated values from its list before outputting?If not, is it possible to do so with coding it?Thank you in advance.

Is it possible to embed a jotform into a website that uses url parameters from airtable? I use automations in airtable to send emails and with links to jotforms, but I want to be able to embed these forms into a webpage, but keep the url parameters from airtbale. Is this possible?

I want to use the “send an email once a record is created” automation tool, yet I want it to from an alias account connected to my g-suit account. For example- once a user is registered to my website I create a record containing all his info. then I want to automate an email welcoming him to our service, yet I want the mail to be sent from an alias account (info@…com) and not my personal address (for example- david@…com). Airtable allows me to connect my g-suite account (david@…com), but the alias account (info@…com) cannot be connected (because there is no actual account). Any suggestions on how to set an auto-reply from my alias account?

Hey y’all, Starting to dip my toes into Airtable Automations which are pretty neat, but worried about long term maintainability if I am to lean on them more heavily. Do you all know of any ways to report errors within Airtable itself? Or is it better to wrap all scripts in a try catch & report to an external error service like Sentry?

Is it possible to set a table to sync from an Excel Sheet?  I know I can import data, and I know I can setup Bases to sync, but I'm looking to set up a Table to pull data from an Excel sheet and keep up to date with those changes.
