Hey gangs - curious if anyone has come across this situation and found a solution. I'm working with a table that will contain all of the contacts for a business. These contacts have relationships to each other. We want to keep track of the people and who their clients are AND do the reverse - keep track of who represents the clients, which we've created two separate linked fields within the table (Clients field & Representatives field). What I want to do is set up an automation that automatically updates these linked fields when one is updated for the related records. Here is an example:Sally is a individual and Chuck represents her. When I add Chuck to the Representatives field for Sally's record, I want the automation to add Sally to the Clients field for Chuck's record so they stay up to date. I want to eliminate the need to update both records when a change needs to be made.Would love any help!

I have an automation that sends an email out after a form is submitted. It was working fine when I created it. I turned it off a few days ago to do some testing. When I tried to turn it back on today it wont go on. I keep getting a red triangle with a ! in it next to the automation name.I tried to recreate the automation which did not work either. I then took away the email step and I was able to turn on the automation. With it turned on I added the email step back and now the automation will not let me update. I click update and within 5 seconds the bar asking me to update is back.

I have an automation set up to send personalized emails to a set of records with a When a record matches conditions trigger. One of the conditions is that the value in the Email Date field is today. This automation has run reliably in the past, but now it's showing an alert symbol in the Automations sidebar and it immediately turns off when I turn it on.All tests were successful. Any ideas?

I have multiple automations available on multiple bases however when I create a new one or turn off an existing automation (running properly) and then turn it back on, it turns off itself automatically. It shows an alert sign

My script was working and then it wasn't after I increased my records from 50 to 100. With 100 records the script was being terminated after 30 seconds. 30 real time seconds is an eternity for computers. I will paste my simple script below and appreciate if you can provide some insight on why the script runs so slowly.First some background. My first Airtable automation triggers on a change to a Field in a Table. The following action is Find Records there are conditions in the action and the found records are output as a list of records that past the conditions. Next was the Repetable action that can take the list of records as input and inside I added the Update Record action. Here I hit the wall, for the life of  me I could find no way to auto extract the Record ID from the individual records in the list as input to Update Record.Next I turned to Make but ended in the weeds with the same issue. Hello,So the use case here is that we have a store with 50,000 products and we will start building additional stores. So I want to have a main product table where all the products are. This one is already done in Excel. Then I want to add checkboxes for B2B, IT, DE, and FR (Italy, Germany, France).  So when I click on the checkbox on the main list it should appear in the additional list. So when I click on b2b it should appear on b2b with all relevant data. In b2b I have additional fields where for b2b pricing for A, B, and C that I calculate with certain formulas based on Acquisition pricing.  Up to this point, it was easy. I already did this with automation. But where the problem comes is how the hell do I delete the record after? So I have it in b2b now. But let's say I don't want to sell it in b2b and I remove the checkbox. The records need to be deleted from b2b. I was thinking that the checkbox should be a relationship field

I have a Zap that uses the "Find Many Records (With Line Item Support) in Airtable".It seems the search is limited to only 10 records.Is this the limit of the function or is something else happening that I'm missing?

Hi,I send automated emails to my referral sources updating the status of their referrals.  I would like to keep the color formatting and in particular the graphic from the progress bar that shows up in airtable.  However, when the automation runs, it only shows the progress in a numerical value.  Is there a way to bring the progress bar to life in the automation?  DW 

Hello,I am reaching out to see if anyone else has had this problem and knows how to fix this.We use a form that is to file reports at the end of a shift, which includes the time stamp of when the form is being filled out. This form is then sent out to Administration and Management staff via the Automation tool in Airtable. Which then gets populated into the corresponding Base. Strangely, when the automation sends out the email, it creates a strange and incorrect time signature along with the date (example: Saturday, 2023-09-24T02:26:00.000Z when it was the 23rd of September and at 9:26pm). It does not effect the base however, and places the correct date and time in there, but I am wondering if anyone has had this same issue and has found a way to correct it??

Before I say anything else, Airtable is excellent.  Super awesome product.  That said, this problem is really holding us up.I see I am not the first person to ask this question, but I am surprised that it's not resolved, and that such a basic feature is not already available when this question has been asked a couple of years ago.  Is there some reason that this cannot be easily added as a feature?  Snag: Without sorting, the info in the email digest is useless.  An emailed grid could just be sorted, or just use any view created in the base or interfaces.  This would seem like an easy feature to add given the entire platform is based on table data.  I do realize things can be complex in programming even for something simple.  Is this feature coming though?  It makes or breaks the email digest concept for us.  I am guessing we're not the only ones who could benefi

I'm inputing a list of records to the Update Record action. Let's say 3 records. I want a field in all three records updated. Hello!I have a table called "Payments" where I record all my payments of the day, I upload a csv file daily. Each record represents a transaction and could be a declined transaction or an approved one. Daily I check my declined transactions and call my clients, if they answer and agree i fill out a field called Rescheduled Payment Date. The next day I'll upload the csv file of the payments of this day and want to create an automation that finds a record with the same name and that the payment date matches the Rescheduled Payment Date of the first one it encounters if the payment is approved. I hope this is possible to achieve and thank you in advance 😊

Hello, everyone,This may be a very specific use case, but I have created prefilled URLs from formulas that I need to get to my reviewing committee. The problem is that they want a once a week email that has the information in a list format.This is largely not an issue as the rest of the informing information gets across, but it does present a challenge as when the formulas are one of the fields turned on in this list, they don't hyperlink.Is there a way to work around this, or should I focus on an alternate way to get the prefilled URLs to them?Thanks!

Hi everyone. Recently, one of Airtable users shared their Workspace with me. There is a base in the workspace with a lot of automations, and sometimes they fail to run.The workspace (and the database) owner receives emails saying, "Something went wrong with an automation..." but I receive nothing. Is there a way to fix this and allow me as a collaborator receive those notifications?

We very recently hit the limit to the number of automations you can have in a base, but we still have a laundry list of automations we would like to create.How do you all handle the limit put in place on a base? Is there any creative solutions out there? I was thinking of maybe moving some tables off into another base, but then I would probably hit the 10 table sync limit in our base too.Use the API? But how would triggers work? 

We need to create individual customer forms that they fill out that populates their specific products. ( A filtered view that only displays their products.) I got the form to properly populate responses in our base to the respective customer.The problem is that Fillout requires a unique record id that gets pasted in their grid view to populate that data correctly.  Because its connected to a base with all the customers, pasting a specific fillout.com customer link will populate in the entire base, causing the form to override the last customers data. We have one base containing all of the customers, with individual grid views for specific customers. Pasting this link into a specific grid view will of course appear in the master grid view as well. What are my options? Does every customer need its own tab for fillout to link to? Or is there a way to paste Fillout record links to individual customer grid views without overriding the entire base?

Hi. Im having two issues with automations. Thanks in advance for any help - Michael1. My automations only run when a new or matching record is submitted through a form. If I do so on the table itself which the trigger is set up to monitor for either matching or new records, the automation doesn't run. Am unclear why?2. My automations for matching records will only run on new matching records (submitted through a form) and not on all the matching records on the table. What do I need to adjust? Thanks again!

I'm not exactly sure on the best way to go about doing this or if I am posting this in the correct location. I want to send a text message to a group of employees about upcoming open shifts. I have the employees in a table and i have the upcoming shifts in another. I am able to text individual employees a standard message now. I am not sure how i can add the open shift date to the message and then pick which employees i want to send the message to and have the date added into it as well. The employee table and the shifts tables are linked. Right now i am able to send the message with an automation that is sent by a button in an interface I created. maybe it isn't possible or maybe its super easy and i am overthinking it. Hi everyone,I'm very new to Airtable and I'm trying to get an automation to check a column called "Vehicle Registration" and a column called "VIN No" and if either of these two columns match with an older record, both the new record and the old record are either highlighted as duplicates, or a column with a checkbox is automatically ticked to show it's a duplicate record.What would be the best way to go about this?Thanks in advance.

I have set up an automation to send client creatives for approval, which allows them to update the database with either an 'approved' or 'denied' status. However, it appears that they need to create an account to do so. Is there a way for them to approve without having to create an account? Thank you. 

Help please! I cannot figure this out. (I thought I'd posted this earlier but it doesn't look like it went through....)I have about 5000 people in a base and I need to send individual emails to them, so 5000 email messages total. The emails will contain a link to a form prepopulated with a couple pieces of their individual info, and I need them to update their info using the form. I had everything working but apparently overlooked the possibility that somebody would limit the number of these emails that I can send. I don't know whether the problem is with Airtable, or Gmail. The Gmail account being used is a Workspace account (not a free Gmail.com account). What are the limits for this sort of thing and who are they imposed by? Is this something I just can't do? If so, what's my alternative? I need this ASAP so be grateful for any help. William
