Hello, everyone,I'm trying to create a email off of the scheduled time trigger that gives the recipients a list of the current records in a view (aka for review). The records in the view have critical documents that I need in the email, but I am running into an issue where because I have to get the records from Find Records instead of triggering off of their appearance in the view, the attachments can't be added, even if I make the fields they would be in visible in the grid.If anyone has any recommendations, I would love to hear it as the individuals receiving these emails are not going to be active in the bases themselves.P.S. If anyone is curious, this is my current automation:Trigger: At Thursday at 11AM -> Find Records based on view (x) -> Send Email (Use grid with relevant information.) The grid contains the attachment fields relevant but always show as empty.

Hi everyone! I'm trying to create an automation that tracks data from two columns. We have a "planned publish date" and an "actual publish date." I'd like to have a way to track how frequently records are published within a week or so of the planned publish date. Is there a way to set up reporting in an interface for this? Or an automation that can compare the two dates and perform an action if they're within a certain timeframe to one another? I haven't tried writing my own script, but I'm open to that, as well as other suggestions. Hello everybody ! I would like to set up an RFID card reader system for my fitness center that will be linked to a database. I would like to have the time when a customer scans their RFID card saved in the corresponding customer line and change his status from something like “Inactive” to “Active”. Can I do this with Airtable? I’m kind of a newbie :slightly_smiling_face: Thanks in advance !

Hi,I am looking for a way to make my 'Last Modified' column update when a look up field updates. I understand that this is not directly able to happen as it is not an editable field. But I was wondering if I could do this with automation? The look up field is a text box and could contain anything.

Hi all, I have automation setup to put notes in long text field when certain conditions met (and was proud of myself :winking_face: )…BUT when it triggers it removes and REPLACES any text that may already be there…just wanting to add additional text in that field…can that be done?

We have dozens of automations that I've built running in our paid plan. Troubleshooting an automation in a free plan, so I may be missing something obvious!- Automation Trigger - when form submitted. - Slack Action - send channel message with simple text with field data from the form. This was running for months with no issue, we edited the message field and the automation tests run successfully. we see the post appear in the correct slack channel BUT.. we can't get the Automation Toggle to stay on.  (It is on for one second, then reverts to off.)We're below the 100 automation limit for the Free plan, so not sure what else might be causing this.any suggestions?  

How do I update a record on a table, based on a record on another table that just got updated, it requires a record ID but the update record automation action only gives the record ID of the just updated record and not the ID of the target record

Hi and thank you for any help you can provide.I have created an automation so that when a record status is set (trigger = Pending), I get an email and Slack notification.I would like to know how to include record information in the notification. Right now, I'm just getting the message I typed in the Message field. Can I add record specifics there? I would like to see when the record was last modified, which in this case would be when it was set to Pending. I would also like to include other fields, such as the headline and writer.Thanks for your help.

I am creating an automation between airtable and slack, so when a record is created in a view in airtable it notifies a slack channel, and tags people based on another field - but I'm having a few issues!In the record we have today's date, the task type, details about the task, the scheduled date and the member of staff needing to be notified. If no staff member is mentioned, it notifies the channelI have the trigger set up as "When a record enters a view" and a delay totaling 116 seconds (multiple scripts one after another) with an action to find the record. In the run history this is complete, and it shows the fields and their content - however the slack notification is not including any of the fields in the message. Additionally, if 2 members of staff are tagged, it only actions the first one, then finishes the automation. Any help appreciated, some images attached

Hello everyone,I have a form from which i collect various data for my events. I am trying to create an automation to pull 2 parts of the form to put them in 2 new records in some other tables (Form -> Contact[table] and Company[table]).I was having no issue at all until I tried to pull the data of a single select field from my trigger record (the form) and use it as input for a single select field in the other table. It only gives me the possibility of choosing an option from the destination table an not from the trigger record. Also meaning, the blue button to choose which data to pull isn't appearing.Anybody had the same issue and/or have a solution for this subject matter ? I would really appreciate your help !Thank you all

Hello everyone,I need to insert the current date in a filed when a second field is updated (Yes or no) in the record updated.My need is that the first field is a "Date" because it could be modified inserting a different date in the case of any modification.I can not find any solution: automation with a button is too difficult for me (script) and automation does not the job for the record updating.Please can you help me? Hi all,I am stumped on this, but I imagine it's something fairly straightforward.I want to run an automation that will copy data from one field (Copy-to-field) to another (Copy-from-field) but preserve the original data in the Copy-to-field.Note - the Copy-to-field is a look-up field.The trouble is, when the Copy-to-field contains data, it  is wiped by the new data from the Copy-from-field.I have tried adding the Copy-to-field as a data source in the Copy-to-field in the automation, along with the new data I want added but this throws up two problems:1. Hello 👋I have been building automation to link data from one table to another when one table receives data from Airtable's Web Clipper extension.I have a way to do this, and when I run each step of the automation test, the data is populated in the correct fields in the other table.The problem is that on the final step of the automation, Airtable thinks that it received invalid inputs despite it correctly updating the record when running the test.I will try to outline the automation below:1. I have information coming in from another application that puts a list of email addresses in a text field and I want to use that list of emails to each contact associated with that list and link them in a separate link field. I've tried to think through ways I can use Loop on Zapier, but it overwrites each subsequent contact, and Airtable doesn't seem to let me use a comma-separated list as something to use with it's repeat action in Automations. Any ideas?

Everything looks right, but when I send a test of the notice to myself and one other person, the notification goes through, but the identified asset that is due to expire is not included with the email notification.   A good example of what I am trying to do . . . . when you fill out a job application and it says list your most recent employment and it provides categories for date, company, address, title, etcetera.  I want the person answering to be able to say I have two and then a table is created where they can then fill in the information for each.  The number would/could be different for individuals answering . . . I want airtable to take the answer to one question and create a custom table within the questionnaire to collect the data needed for the specific number answered.How do I create something like this in airtable?

Hi,I'm trying to find a way but have yet to find anyone who has managed to solve this specific problem. I want to include an image, a big thumbnail in the body of the email, and it needs to be fetched from an attachment field "Artwork" in the trigger record.I have tried;1. Adding the small attachment thumbnail to the body, which makes the thumbnail too small and compressed.2. Using a formula to derive a public image URL from the attachment and including that in the body, which doesn't seem to work anymore since Airtable doesn't support public URLs from attachments (?).3. Simply adding the attachment in the email and choosing "Thumbnail" which leads to an error message saying "map(Artwork, propertyGetter("thumbnails")) cannot be converted to a string".Uns

I am attempting to send information from Airtable to Zapier and ultimately a message to a client. I am using the Automations > When Record Is Created trigger to Run Script. Randomly it successfully completes at 28 seconds but rare.Any options to fix this?

Dear community,We have a group coffee and drinks pool at work that everyone can help themselves to as long as they write up their use. I am using airtable to track everyones consumption and payments, which works great. I managed to set up automations for emails to notify what the users owe and when their payment has been received. The only thing that I can't figure out for the life of me is how I set up an automated email reminder if they haven't paid after 14 days.I have the following table (simplified):Let's say I do the invoicing every 15th of the month and want to send out a payment reminder on the last day of the month. In my example above person ABC wouldn't need a reminder because they already paid while person XYZ still owes $30. I figured out how to send out an email if the Total is >$0 but I can't figure out how to make it conditional that this

HiFirst time here ! I have a problem with the Google form automation. I use the trigger "When response arrive" to get the answer from a Google form. The automation was working well, retrieving the answers from the google sheet and adding them to my database. But for a few weeks now, the retrieval no longer works (it doesn't trigger at all). I've checked that the trigger and action tests are ok.I also noticed that when I modified the width of a line in google sheet, the automatization was triggered and brought back all the records that hadn't been taken.  I've tried duplicating the automation and reconfiguring the trigger, but it doesn't change anything....
