We interact with multiple Utility Companies (Water, Electric, Gas from different cities and counties).Is it possible that when I select a Utility company, the contact information auto populates in another field (Separate Single Line Text Fields or a Long Text Field)?Thank you.

Hi,I'm trying to find a way to do the following, and I hope someone can help! I am not Airtable savvy, so any help is appreciated.I have a form that our customers fill out if they have damaged product, data goes into tab/table "Damages Info". They input information, two pieces of info being the CPO and SKU.I have a table synced to the base that contains all order and product information (tab/table Tracker).When a form is submitted, I'd like for Airtable to automatically look at the SKU and CPO that was submitted in 'Damages Info" table, find the line item in the synced "Tracker" table with the same SKU and CPO, and then auto populate several fields in the "Damages Info" table with the info from the "Tracker" line item.Is that possible? I have a field called ID, and it's an autonumber field.  I cannot get it to display in my email.  I've tried creating a formula field with it, too, with some prepended text and tried adding &"", too, which was suggested somewhere.  I can add the Airtable record ID with no problem and other formula fields and have them included in the text of the email.  But anything I do with my ID field will not show up in the email.  The test data does have an ID in the ID field and a value in the ID Text formula field.  Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi all,I'm somewhat new to air table automations and I'm trying to figure out a way to complete this task:I have two tablesRevenue Plan (applicable fields: Week Starts [Date], Week Ends [Date], Week [Formula])Promotion Calendar - PM (applicable fields: Date Start [Date], Revenue Week [Reference])When the user fills in a record with a Date Start on the Promotion Calendar table, I'm wanting it to automatically add a reference to the record in the Revenue Plan table whose range of dates encompasses the date entered.For example: if the start date in Promotion Calendar is entered as 8/10/2023, it should link the record in Revenue Plan that contains the Date Start: 8/6/2023 and Date End: 8/12/2023.What would be the simplest way to accomplish this task?

Hello everyone,I am experiencing a problem with my automation that connects a Google Sheets document to an Airtable master table, using the Airtable record ID as the primary key. Typically, this setup functions correctly around 70% of the time. However, occasionally, the automation fails, presenting an error message indicating that it has received "invalid inputs".Upon investigating these errors, I've noticed that the record ID associated with the failure is valid, as I'm able to manually copy it and locate the corresponding record in the Airtable master table. This leads me to believe that the issue may not be with the IDs themselves.I'm unsure about what might be causing these intermittent failures and would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions that could help me troubleshoot and resolve this issue.Thank you in advance for your help!

I have an automation that won’t turn on despite working correctly the last few days. It’s set to create a record when a row is added to a google sheet. Both the trigger and action pass their test, yet the automation won’t turn on. What could I possibly be missing?

Hello,I try to import and upset data from BigQuery to an airtable table.I use Skyvia or Make and the first import works fine....My problem is the Upsert case !When I run a new import, the record are duplicated and not updated.First, is there a method to compare the two base and write only the new record in airtable?Second, is there a method to compare the two base and update in airtable only the modified record from bigquery ? May be do i have to script that in an automation ?Thanks for your help !

I have 2 tables in my base . Table 1 have multiple records while table 2 only has single record . Table 2 has a field (lets say voucher)  with data type number. Whenever a new record is added in Table 1 ,I would like to Increment the value of a field (voucher ) with 1.

Hi there, I have been searching heavily for some help on what I'm trying to achieve but haven't had any luck. What I am looking to do on Airtable is have an autogenerated number for each line item I add but it needs to have a prefix of 6700. It also needs to start at a specific number, lets say 67006789. Is there anyway to do this? 

Hi everyone, I am not sure if what I'm trying to do is even possible, but hopefully it is!I am improving my office's Airtable and I have two sheets, for simplicity we will call them "Places Sheet" and "People Sheet" (these are what the records under each are). Under the People sheet, I have a column where one or more Places are linked when relevant. Now, I would like a column in the Places Sheet that shows me which People (ideally through a Linked Record) have that Place as a linked record on the People Sheet. So, in effect, when Record A from the People Sheet links to Record B from the Places Sheet in a specific field, Record B also links back to Record A.I could go through and do this for each individual, but some People have more than one Place linked to them, and there's well over 1000 records under the People Sheet and over 300 records under the Places Sheet, so I'm really hoping I can automate this process.

I have an automation where I first create a list of records and sort them by priority, then I put them into a repeating group to run scripts on them one at a time. But, it seems as though the repeating group will run those functions with multiple items being processed at a time, not one at a time.  Is there a workaround so that I can process the items within a list one at a time in the repeating group? Thanks! 

I would like to use automation, to look for a matching bank statement, related to a payout. In english terms, the automation would be something like this:When Payout with Payout Date is at least 14 days agoThen, Find Record in Bank Transactions where Date is after Payout.Payout DateFor number fields or text fields, there is the little gear icon on the right which allows you to set dynamic variables. It seems this is not available for dates.See screenshot below. Am i missing something? Why would this not be available for dates?

I'm doing a read-only base to give to others as a template and I noticed my automations don't transfer when they copy the read-only base. Is this right? Is there a way to make sure they cross over?

Hi,I have a table where people insert new records through an Interface, one of these columns needs to be unique.My issue is that i cannot stop people from inputting the same data by mistake through Airtable's Interfaces (so for example they need to fill the form  with "12345", but they write "21345" by mistake, and "21345" is already there in the database), so i want to catch this duplicate's existence afterwards by sending an email and performing other operations when it happens.Do you know if this can be done?

Hi,I created a base linked to a form that insert records. When a record is inserted or updated in my base, some automations are linked to perform actions. Everything worked fine till two days ago, now the trigger of the automations does not activate and actions are not performed, but they work fine when I do manual tests.Can someone help me? I have a free plan but all the things I use are included in that plan

Hi. I couldn't find any specific information related to this. We are currently looking into possible options to conver a Google-Sheets based system to something more thorough.  We want to make sure we do not hit any walls later on in the future, once the system starts to grow. For the Pro plan, there is a 100k automations limit per month.  If you perform automations outside of AirTable, using Make or Zapier, for example watching rows and then updating rows based on certain conditions - would these count towards AirTable automation limit? My intuition would tell me no, but I would prefer to be certain about this - as that way I know we always have a plan B if we hit the limit.

Hey, Is it possible to rate one record multiple times (1 collaborator to rate same recordmultiple times), and later on to show an average rating? And to do that with multiple collaborators? For example, restaurant review, Can I rate the same restaurant multiple times, and calculate the average rating for that particular restaurant? And that average rating to be a combination of multiple different ratings from multiple collaborators. I’m not quite sure how to do that… Thanks

I'd like to set up an automation to send an alert when two records have the same value in a date field.For example, Record A has a date of August 6.  Record B has a date of August 7.  Then the date of Record B changes to August 6 (same as Record A).Can someone please tell me if this is possible, and if so, how?

I would like to avoid upgrading the website plan as my blog posts will eventually out grow the limited amount of CMS items webflow offers anyways. Is there anyway to view my airtable CMS items to my website WITHOUT storing them in the webflow CMS?Thanks!

I am trying to create an automation so that everytime a new record is created in the "link to another table" column, the SUM tag is automatically printed. This is because I am trying to do a cumulative sum but am unsure as to how to get it to automatically update and display the sum when a new record is created.

Hi! I’m not sure if this is possible and if so, how. But is it possible on Airtable to use a script so that when a record status changes, to get a popup to appear that contains information relative to that record and a confirmation button that will allow the base user to launch an action through that button (via webhook for instance) ? Good day!I have an issue with an automation that SHOULD populate a table from the above data. The records that don't have the little green star should still be used for the automation to populate this table:The first table has 6 records that aren't being populated and should, into the second image.The image doesn't show the trigger being on, but I checked one later for the test, and it still is giving the invalid input. Not sure what is incorrect. Any pointers?   

I have an Automation that is triggered by the appearance (in a new form-generated record in Table-A, {T.A-Rec.1} ) as having a non-empty value in a field {T.A- Field.1’}.  This {T.A- Field.1} is a link to a record in Table-B.Record {T.A-Rec.1} ALSO has a link field {T.A-Field.2} containing a link, {Ref.C.Link}, to a record in Table C.I wish to update a record in Table C, the record referenced by {Ref.C.Link}.  The field in the referenced Table-C record that I want to update is {T.C-Field.3}, also a link field to Table-B.  The value that I want to put into the {T.C-Field.3} in the referenced Table-C record is that of {T.A- Field.1’}, the link to that same record in Table-B.In my Automation so far, I seem to get the trigger to work OK.   But when I try to configure an 'Update Record' Action to update the {T.C-Field.
