Hey All.I have an interface setup and there are fields that I only want visible by certain users. There's a collab field with certain members assigned to the records. I thought this would limit the field based on just those collabs, however everyone can still see it, including me. The idea is for example, fields with Ed's name visibility is filtered by Ed, and Julie. They are the only ones that should see it. Any ideas?
Hey all,Is there any way possible to colour a multi-select field based on the colours of another field value? These fields are both linked records from another table.Scenario) I have a "Campaign/Production Pipeline" table that is stacked and coloured by STATUS.) I have another table called "Campaign Overview" which outlines all campaigns using a grid view. GoalI would like to create a visual overview of all campaigns based on their STATUS in a grid view that you can scroll through horizontally. Essentially, I would like the colours to reflect their respective statuses based on the "Production Pipeline" table. Please see the screenshots attached. Thank you!
I have 217 Universities in the table called "Universities"I have an empty "Applicant" table that connected to a Form InterfaceI want applicants to choose their universities NOT from a "Single select" field, but "link to another table"But when the University field in Applicant table is "link to another record field", in the form interface, it says "Invalid Size". But if the field is single select, there is no such error. Please don't tell me use Single select instead. I need the other informations in the Universities table + other tables are connected to University table from different places. I also know that I can connect Universities later manually or with some automations. Yet still that is not an option and just a silly labor. We were using this future with ourselves and clients for years and it was working perfect in "form view", i thought "form interface" should have been better.
I have seen Airtable use the thumbnail attached in this post to promote its interface webinars and more. But I can't find anywhere how to add a map interface as shown in this thumbnail, and the community posts I can find about maps are quite old and don't answer it. Does anyone know how to create this??
Bonjour à tous,J'ai créé plusieurs tables avec des liaisons, cependant, je ne vois pas comment insérer les champs de recherche dans la vue formule ?Ex : (voir PJ) description, constatsPourriez vous m'aider ?Cordialement
I can't understand why the dashboard doesn't have a search function. How can we create a filter that includes a search function?
I use a lot of links to aid users in jumping from one interface to another, with the links having the RecordID baked in so that the jump brings you to the same record on that new interface. This allows for workflow specific interfaces and quick navigation. However there is a couple interfaces that are not letting me do so that i am wondering if there is a workaround or feature im missing? Jump to Timeline Interface with sidesheet of selected Record open (OR to timeline with bubble popup of selected record)Standard timeline url's do not contain the recordID when you click open the popup bubble nor the expanded sidesheet. There is a "link to record" button on the sidesheet, but when analyzing the link it generates it does not use RecordID as an identifier either. However there is a small string of characters that is unique but not sure what it ties to.Jump to Grid Interface of Subtasks filtered on selected records subtasks.Standard grids do not contain the recordID(s) in t
I'd like to add some contextual help, definitions, and things like that for our users. Is something like that doable? I haven't found anything in interface designer to do so.I know on the older pages I can add text elements, but the newer pages don't have any way for me to add freeform text.
Hiya!I'm trying to implement parts of Airtable's Project Management Template into a Project Management system for my organization. In the Getting Started section, it describes the "My Tasks" page as "a summary of the current user's work". I love that my team members will be able to quickly go to that page and see a summary detail of their current tasks. However - I can't figure out how to "auto-filter" the page.In the template it's set up as a page/group filter: Where {Assignee} contains "Malik Johnson". I know this is just an example filter in the template, but if I were to type a specific name in that filter, it would only show that person's tasks, regardless of which person is on the My Tasks page. Am I missing something? Is there a way to set up the filter as "assignee matches current user"?
Dynamic filters on tables are a much needed addition, but they aren't avialble for an interface. Any idea when and if these will be availble? It is a much needed filter to prevent users from having to scroll through a large number of records and potentially select the wrong record.
Hey guys!I am looking to see if it's possible to "Enable nested records for this table" if I only have 1 level on a list view as a part of a record review page? I want my team to be able to drag parent and child Jobs into each other to stack them and quickly copy data from parent to child job (I have an automation). Let me know if this is possible or you need more information. Thanks!
Hello Airtable Community,I have a table with projects and an interface with a timeline view.I would like to display graphically when the project timeline changes. This does not necessarily have to be displayed in this timeline, a new view can also be created. I would like to see when the old estimated start & end date was and when the new ones are.Perhaps something very simple like this: I would be very happy about any ideas 😊 Thank you and best regardsMirko
The List interface allows for Grouping of fields within records - which makes it visually much easier for users when records have many fields. Is this available for other types? I would like it on Record detail but cant make it work.Margaret
I've built a scheduling app on the Airtable interface. While the interface is ready I realised I cannot give open access to users to use my app as they all have to be on my paid plan from my understanding. Can someone guide me on how I should make it accessible to all. I thought of setting up authentication in bubble and embedding the interface there with forms so that the user can update the info but I cannot find embedding code for interface without making it public. this is urgent please
Hi all,I have met an issue where i've created an interface page that can be drilled down to a record detail. However, although i can see the fields perfectly fine, my team mate who has editor permissions only sees the fields as 'deleted' and I'm not sure what the issue is. This is what my team mate sees. This is what i see.I have re-shared the interface with her, edited her permissions, created a new record detail page but none of it worked so far. Did anyone else encounter this issue? How did you resolve it? Thanks in advance!
I have an Airtable backend and I’m looking to create a front-end solution where users can:1. Create Individual Accounts: Users should be able to sign up and log in securely.2. Create Favorite Lists: Users can create personalized favorite lists from items in my main Airtable list.3. Add Private Notes: Each user should have the ability to add private notes to items in their favorite lists, which should not be visible to other users.I’m seeking recommendations for low-code or no-code building tools that integrate well with Airtable to achieve this functionality efficiently. Any suggestions or best practices would be greatly appreciated!
Hi everyone! I'm trying to create a dashboard to visualize our project management data, and I'm having a little trouble with the charts. I have three tables in the base, and I'd like to select a record from a single table and show charts of the data in the fields for that particular record. But when I add a chart and make sure the source is the record picker, the field options are just the other two tables, not the fields in the table the record resides in.What am I doing wrong?
I am working on my first new version Record Review interface. I have TONS of detailed Record Review interfaces in the older now-legacy version.... ugh. The old version let me pick a few colors for group background. But the new one only has "show background color" for groups. Which for me is a very light gray and does not really help distinguish a grouping. These are complex views so I really need the colors... Any idea what controls the 'background color' that the new interface will show? It seems like that should be able to be picked somewhere, but I cannot fine. And would love to see more than one option eventually! Thanks for the help.
Is there a way to tracking engagement within an interface at the record level?I'm building a technology repository of tiles for a team, and we want to be able to see which tools are being clicked on, or which use case is searched the most. The Insights (https://support.airtable.com/docs/using-insights) didn't give the granularity we're looking for on the interface. (We need the distinction between the interface versus the data in the base because Admins will be regularly updating records whereas users will be only leveraging the interface for information.)
Interface designer says "nothing is published" and does not give any action to continue on interface design. It only displays the error message.
Kanban view allows one field to be selected on Stacked by option. Is that possible to select multiple fields? I have a table called budget. In grid view, I can group the record using multiple fields but the same is not possible.Budget table has property name, budget cycle, budget status, budget name, ....10 other fields. In grid view I have grouped the records using group by option. In the kanban view, allows a single field only to be stacked. But I need multiple filed like grid view
One Relative Table "Booking" to a Timeline View of another Table "Front Desk" has a Rollup Field "Error": "IF(COUNTALL(ARRAYUNIQUE(values))=1, FALSE(), TRUE())", which calculates if was error or not.Interface of a Timeline "Front Desk" is not showing correct color by a condition. Airtable Table works fine. Only a issue in Interface. Thanks.P. S. When I update values in a Table, Rollup field calculation is correct. Interface works only at the beginning, after - no changes (color stays the same). In Interface in DevTools during resizing of Timeline i see such errors...and Rollup Field looks like that
We’re working on creating reporting interfaces for our projects and have hit a snag. We’re trying to filter records based on Status while grouping them by Company using the tab functionality in Airtable. However, Airtable keeps automatically grouping the records by both Status and Company, which defeats the purpose of using the tabs as status indicators.Does anyone know how to prevent this additional grouping? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!
Hey guys! Noticed a bug on the interface timeline view.Basically when assigning a record a color by condition. Sometimes it updates automatically and sometimes you have to refresh the page to see the update. The below Loom video demonstrates what I'm talking about.https://www.loom.com/share/6690d90b80f044d6910db33fc16883ea
I have a business plan.I have set sharing permissions for a new interface to 'general access' - ie anyone at my organisation can see interface. When i view as them in editor mode i can see the interface. However, when they log in they cant see it.Any ideas?
