Is there a way to customize a form so it’s more than just one long vertical column of fields. Would like to have fields be able to display horizontally too.That way you can see some or all the fields at once. Any ideas for layout change?

Hi, I’m trying to share a table using an iframe, I do not have problems when I see it from desktop, but from mobile it does not look good. When I enter the iframe URL in mobile it works fine, but when I enter my URL that has an iframe inside, it looks different. Does anyone know what could be happening? Hello Everyone, I want to display the whole content of the “Long text” field (about 100 lines) in the Gallery/kanban view. Now it shows just the top 4-5 lines and then the next field content. To read the whole content, one has to click on it to expand. Is there a way by which the whole content can be displayed in the Gallery/Kanban view without clicking over it? Thanks a lot!
Hello, I’ve created a database that essentially allows me to create a call sheet (sample here) using the page design app. I currently have two tables: Call sheet table - lists the date as the main column. For each date, I have information such as the location, linked crew member, status etc. Crew table - this table lists each person’s name in the main column. There’s a linked record to the dates they’re working in the call sheet table, their email, cell, and role. I’d also like to add a column for the call time, but that will vary based on the date. On Tuesday their call time might be 9:00am but on Wednesday it’s 8:30am. Since each crew member in linked to several call sheet dates, one person may be linked to 2-4 different days of work on set. The time that people need to report to set each day varies. I’m trying to figure out a way, in the crew tab, to assign a call time for each person for each shoot day that they are assigned. I’m looking for a simple and low-cost solution for collecting e-signatures in forms. I need to create permission forms for education programs and collect e-signatures, then import the data directly to Airtable. I don’t need to do this often enough for a montly/annual contract to make financial sense. esignatures.com is the best-priced platform that I’ve found, but it’s not clear if their data can be integrated with Airtable. I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who has done this or found other low-cost but good solutions that don’t require third-party software.

Some of my text fields are VERY long with formatting etc. is that still going to work when being sent via a query string? Seems to so far but I would hate it to break.
Hi guys, I’m building a interface (with Softr) heavily based on a Tag system done with linked records. I have translated the interface but I don’t know how to translate the tags without creating a different linked table and loosing the link with the original table. I’ve created agent fields to translate the tags. Any ideas how to display and allow the selection of the translated field and not the primary field of the table? Or any other solutions that can link the translated tags to the original dataset?Thanks,
Hello Airtable Community, We have had a ticket open with the Airtable AR Team on some billing questions since the 7th of this month. No response have been received. I have emailed the regular support now as well but I’m not sure when I’m going to hear back from them. Is there any way to contact them that’s not email? We were looking for ways to expand Airtable access to internal teams without adding everyone as a paid collaborator.Shared views were too limited, and Interfaces still required collaborator access for anything interactive.So we built a front-end portal where team members can log in, view just their data, and update records if needed. No Airtable seat required.It’s now evolved into a tool called ClientlyBase — useful for internal dashboards, forms, and lightweight access across teams.Curious if anyone else here has dealt with this — how are you managing access for non-collaborators?
I’m trying to set up a “Get in Touch” button in Softr that opens a form (asking for name*, email*, phone number*, organisation, and message*). The form should create a new record in my Airtable “Get in Touch” table and automatically associate it with the specific person (from my Contacts table) that the button was clicked for.I’ve set up both the Contacts Table and a Get in Touch Table in Airtable, but I’m not sure how to pass the member’s information into the form so the submission links correctly. Should I be using a hidden field, a details page, or another Softr setup for this?
Hi All, I uploaded some 300 dpi food labels that print perfectly from the individual record. Clean and crisp. They measure 4.247"h x 4.027"w and I want them to print four-up on a letter-size page via PDF. We currently do this with our Access but are transitioning to Airtable. In Photoshop these show up as 1274px h x 1208px w. I tried setting both the record size and the field size (for the graphic) to these dimensions in Page Designer. Then, I selected Print Records in a Specific View to PDF. The labels were huge (one per letter-size page) and very pixelated. I looked at the AT record settings for an index card, which was in the ballpark while not exactly the same size as our labels. They, surprisingly, were only 327px x 545px. So I calculated the ratio of pixels to inches and applied that to get the dimensions for our labels of 447px w x 472px h and entered those dimensions to the record and graphic size. Background: I have a feed that inserts data into an Airtable base using the API. Sometimes the feed inserts non-printing characters into one of the fields.Specifically, it inserts the UTF-8 Byte Order Mark (BOM), EF BB BF, in the middle of a string. The field it gets inserted into is a URL field.The BOM isn’t visible in Airtable, but when we try to use the link, we get 404 because of the %EF%BB%BF in the middle of the link.For example, the link as displayed in Airtable would be something like “https://community.airtable.com/topic/2341”, but what is actually stored is “https://community.airtable.com/topic/%EF%BB%BF2341” . Searching for %EF%BB%BF in Airtable using filters or automations gives no results.Question: How can I search for and remove the BOM from field values where it appears?

I'm finding the Duplicate Field function to be very handy in building a form with a lot of repetitive fields (long story short, it has to be built this way or prospective users won't buy in), but I wish I could duplicate an entire Group. The only actions I can take on a Group are to delete it, change the permissions, change the appearance, set rules for visibility.If only there was such an action as Group>Duplicate. Anyone know of a trick or extension? I can't find anything.Also, does this seem like a thing that form-builders want to do? I haven't seen anyone asking for it anywhere else.
In the relatively recent past, it was possible to add users to Groups in the admin panel without having to write up a notification message and send them an email that they'd been added. Sometime in the last 8 months or so that was changed, and now anyone added to a group has to be notified via email, even if that Group isn't tied to any access and is solely intended as organizational. Why? It's also not possible to add people to a Group by checking off users from a list, only by typing in their names or pasting comma separated emails.Whatever changes were made have made it harder to use the Groups function and more cumbersome for admins, as well as confusing for end users who may have no idea why they were added to a Group of what it means if there's no obvious new access granted when they login. This feels like a useless change, and one that takes the experience backwards, not forward.
Hello, I am filtering out a view based on the value of a “single line text” field in which I search for a specific substring (E.G. “Backrow”) although I got presented also the records in which there is the same word but with different casing (“BackRow) and I don’t want that.Am I missing something or the filtering for “single line text” is actually case insensitive?
