Hi all,Seeing lots of posts from 2021 and 2022 about an inability to print from Airtable. When I go to print either a record review interface, or from the page designer, the generated PDF is an absolute mess.A lot of the posts say Airtable are working on it, so hoping that in the 2 or 3 years that progress has been made, or a work around solution has been found?If not, is it fair to conclude that printing from Airtable requires an external app and to factor those costs in when assessing costs for Airtable?Thank you,Ryan

When I copy and paste the name of linked records, they appear as they should in the proper order. When I view those linked records in a filtered view (organized by a person’s name), those linked records are now out of order. There are no Sort settings or anything unusual to alter the records on my end. To be clear, they appear in the correct order on the initial view, but not through the filtered view. 

What are the best no-code tools to create your own ai chatbot that can talk to your Airtable base? I want users to ask a question and ChatGPT (or Claude or other LLMs) will answer using my Airtable as a knowledge base. I heard there are tools such as Flowise that enable that. Any recommendations?

Hello! We use AirTable for our school roster. Usually, we use dedupe to merge multiple (usually 8-10) classes that each student is in, so that everything stays in just one record. Today I’ve encountered an error where AirTable thinks that two separate students need to be merged instead of each student with their classes. There are 2 records to be merged but AirTable is only showing “one record to be merged”. I am not sure why AirTable thinks these two students are the same record and cannot see that they both have at least 8 records each.I have encountered this before and have just refreshed the page. However, this does not seem to work. I do not see any error messages. 

I am writing documentation for a Base to help users who are new to Airtable and the app to use it. I would like to put a table of Icons and their field types in this document so that they can reference it to see what data type goes in it. Many of the people who are going to use this are retired and have no previous experience in this area. They will not think to pass the mouse over the icon to see what type of field it is or they will forget that they can do that.I have searched and have not come up with any sites that have the icons. I have used SOFTR + AirTable to build a project management portal for my customers. The primary purpose of this portal is to have a common place for my customers to enter information that will be used in the video projects we build for them, so my customers must be able to login with a user (client) account. When onboarding a customer I need to create 3 records:The athlete record, which operates like the “company” record in a CRM The User account record which is a user in the softr platform The project record which is where the customer work will get done. It is linked to the athlete record and the user account record.The softr user table is sync’d/linked to a table in airtable called users.  Generally, I assume it is normal for the softr user accounts (clients) to be created using the softr studio interface. However, since I need to create ALL THREE records each time, I built an admin page in my softr app that contains each of these airtable tables, so I can create the requisite recor

Hi, has anyone had a similar problem and knows how to solve it? I have a field in Airtable with links to images. When I share these links, people cannot access it because they are not AirTable users. Help!

I’ve been exploring ways to connect Airtable with analytics platforms like Google Analytics or Looker for better campaign insights. Since much of my work involves managing projects in “digital marketing in Jalandhar,” having all performance data centralized in Airtable could enhance reporting and decision-making. Has anyone here tried setting this up? Do you rely on native integrations or prefer using third-party automation tools like Zapier or Make? 

Is it possible to export a list of record comments from a base? I need to be able to summarize and track comments without reviewing each record.

I’m seeing some sheets, owned by me and owned by others, but many I’ve created on worked on recently (even when I sort by most recently modified) aren’t on the list, even when I search by specific names, don’t show up in the list. I tried deleting cookies. Any help? 

I’ve been trying to make a button that will dowload the attachment in a field and upload it to google drive. cant find the way to do it. I use intagromat but i get only file names not the actual PDF or Photo

I am reaching out here in desperation because the “contact support” feature in Airtable does not work at all in my workspace, across multiple browsers and devices. Firstly, my “Team” plan workspace has a base, and my base has a form. It is the only form present in the base.After the recent UI update, that form is not visible in the “Forms” tab on the top middle. The system pretends that my base doesn’t have any forms.However, I can still access the form via my bookmarked public link. Additionally, I can submit the form and it successfully will add a record to my base.I need to edit this form, but it is currently not possible to access the edit page of the form. Normally, I would reach out to Support about this. However, when I click the “?” icon on the bottom left and then select “Message Support”, it opens up a blank white rectangle on the bottom right of the screen that does nothing.I know from experience that this should be a chatbot interface. But instead, it is a blank white box t

I need to be able to print a form.  I have checked the user action “allow printing.”  I share a link with users and they do not see the three dots in the top right corner.  Printing using the browser print function is horrible. There should be a button to print the form or when you click the submit form button it should generate a pdf form that can be printed.

I have a billing issue and cannot seem to find any assistance. I paid for a year subscription and was billed a month later for almost the same amount. No one has contacted me when I filled out the form needing assistance and the chatbox is a joke. I have to answer to my organization for the cost spent and I cannot get a resolution to my issue. I need someone to contact me right away. I should not have been charged twice as the account was just paid for for an entire year. HELP!

Just started noticing this wavy line with a pointer end when viewing a list details. This is the only base with a list view so I’m not sure if it happens across Airtable. Any ideas what is causing it? It stays in the same position while scrolling the details pane.  

Hello friends , iam a noob airtable user , i’m in charge of a table that recieves data from an api in json format , the output is all in one line , so when i try to extract a value from a key using regex it does not work (it shows error) unless i use a website or manually fix the indentations and beautify the json text . is there anyway to fix this issue using formulas or some extension that iam not aware of ? Hello - I am using the amazing pre-filled form extension by @kuovonne to pull form data entered into one table that is then updated with a pre-filled form. The only issue I am having is the date field from the original entry is moved back by one day when the pre-filled form is created (and then updates a new record with the wrong date). I have tried looking at the time zone settings, but have had no luck. Is there any thought about where the fix might live? Thank you!

In the new form builder, can you modify the layout for more contrast (other group background colors)/larger text size like in the old one? The old one seemed to have more options to make it easier to read and follow. This current one does not seem to pass accessibility requirements as you can’t change the font and formatting of the questions and helper text as much.

I would like my formula to present the number formatted by grouping the thousand, like “100,000”, but it displays “100000”. I do not want to turn the number into text because I need the ordering. I think every formula should have a type. Is there a solution?

I’m new to Airtable, and trying to understand the big picture of what it can and cannot do when it comes to app building. We have a need to build an app that displays customer & internally submitted ideas, with a navigation (tree?) of Products & their categories to help filter results. I see we can allow non-paid users to submit ideas via a Form, see results as read only, and possibly interact with some additional Form / automation work arounds for things like voting and comments on other people’s ideas (hopefully without making it cumbersome to the user). I’ve experimented with Interfaces a bit to review what kinds of elements are available, and am exploring templates. Questions I still have: It is possible to have just an expandable tree of Products and their Categories in one element, that when selected filters a second list element? Does anyone have experience with integrating the SSO capability with Google Suite. Specifically I am wondering if the Google permissions override the Airtable permissions or is this integration just to allow users to use the same login for both services. Thank you in advance.

Hi folks, I’ve searched and attempted to fix this on my own to no avail. Whether on my iPhone or iPad I cannot get the images I take within Airtable (using their camera inside the app) to save to my devices camera roll. I have toggled the app setting for this on and off multiple times in an effort to get it to work and my version of the app is the latest. Any ideas?

I am trying to embed a domain restricted view and/or base onto a website. I've used a Google Site and Notion now and tried it with a view and a base. Chrome consistently works just as intended but Safari does not. In both cases, the embedded view/base loads a little cartoon plant and says I need to sign in. This is important because the cartoon plant is unique to embedding. That means that the embedded view/base recognizes that it's embedded in both Safari and Chrome. I then click sign-in, it opens a new tab, I sign in, and then it says I can close the tab and go back to the embedded view/base. I do that and nothing has changed for Safari or Chrome. The difference is I simply have to refresh Chrome and then it recognizes that it's authenticated, no problems. In Safari, I refresh and it looks exactly the same, still asking me to sign in as if I'm not already signed in. I'm pretty sure that this is a bug in Airtable that needs to be addressed and not something particular to my setup. I'v
