I want to put a hyperlink within a long text field called "notes" on my calendar. I can't figure out how, so any help would be great.

Hi,I have two tables - one that has projects with tasks and one that has employess. Each task field from the different projects is linked to the employee table. When I want to assign an employee to a task, I link the employee record to the task in the tasks table. This works fine.However, when I go to the employee table, I want to see a list of all the tasks assigned to each employee.How do I make it show up automatically?

I have a list of clients that I do work for. I do the same 50 tasks for each client. Each field in my table is another task. The tasks are dropdowns with the status of the task like assigned, in progress, completed, and questions for supervisor.My supurvisor wants to create a view that shows only the questions for her. I did this by filtering the view to only show records (clients) that has the choice ‘questions for supervisor’ in field a, b, c d, etc. all the way through. This works well.However, I need to unhide all the fields because maybe that field is the one with a question. So, when a question pops up in her view, she has to scroll all the way to the right until she finds the field that has a question. This wastes a lot of time especially because there are a lot of clients and by each client there can be more then one question.I am looking for a way to only unhide a field that has ‘questions for supervisor’ for at least one record. Hi everyone,I’m currently on the Team plan, and I was under the impression that commenter users were free. But after adding someone as a commenter, I noticed in the workspace settings that they were listed under billable users. That confused me, so I started searching the community — and I found posts confirming that commenters are billed on the Team plan.I'm now exploring other options, and I came across this in the Airtable support documentation for the Business plan:“The following collaborator permissions on the self-serve Business plans are billable:Editor, Creator, Owner.”What I’m trying to confirm is:👉 Is this 100% accurate – that on the Business plan, I would only be billed for Editors, Creators, and Owners, and that Commenters and Viewers are free?

Hello everyone 👋I've been working with airtable for years as a consultant and user, but have never been active in the community - that's about to change. I'm super interested in anything to do with airtable and emails as I keep seeing a few challenges: The challenge of receiving and tracking email responses. Replies to emails sent via Airtable end up in the void instead of the shared inbox Record limits quickly become a problem when saving emails as records Threading issue when parsing emails and creating records in AirtableAs I'm thinking of clever ways to solve these problems, I'm eager to hear feedback from the community.  If you've worked on something like this before, use airtable + emails frequently, or have any of the above issues, please let me know!

Hi all,I have a very strange behaviour with Airtable attachments together with make.comIn a loop in make,com, I create 4 images using FLUX.  I upload the generated images using "Create a record" module together with some other data (attachment column type) The images are correctly uploaded to the Airtable. Later in the same scenario I use the “Search records” module in order to retrieve the 4 rows with the images The rows and data are retrieved correctly but in *some* cases (this can’t be reproduced) the returned data for one of the images  contains only the ID and the original URL (that I used to upload the image) instead of the Airtable data with the airtable URL and the thumbnails, etc..See the screenshots:The first one shows the Create Record and the circled field contains the URL for the upload The second shows the wrong result for one image (yellow) and the correct result

I used to have a “cool” username, now it changed and there’s no way to change it even though I was/am a rank of “5-Automation Innovator”. IT says you have to be above rank 3- Contributor level 3. Then I should be able to navigate to : Settings>Personal>username to change it but it does not exist in settings?

The view that this embed is looking at is filtered correctly- when i open the view in AT, it should the exact dates. Hello, I have a base that has a Campaigns and Deliverables table. There is one Campaign which could have many deliverables. Each deliverable could have one owner. We want the Campaigns table to have a lookup that shows all of the owners for the deliverables. Unfortunately, if someone has multiple deliverables they own it reports their campaign twice in the lookup column. Is there a way to dedupe or only show the owners name once versus the same name multiple times? Thanks, Victor

Hi all, New to AirTable and have been trying to create a grid where one of the columns needs to be linked to a different record on a row-to-row basis. I have been able to link one record in the column but have found it difficult to add a 2nd record for the next row. Is it even possible to do this in AirTable?For example:Row 1 - Column A Links to one record  Row 2     Column A links to a second record Hope this information is clear, happy to try and clarify if it would be helpful. Hi 😊I need help with the form…🙄I have a table "Absences" created in Airtable, where employees can report paid vacation using the form. I also have a column "Remaining paid vacation days" created in Airtable using a formula, in which the employer can see what the balance of the employee's paid vacation is.I would like to add a field to the form that will be displayed while filling out the form (If the employee selects their name from the employees in the form and selects Vacation type-Paid vacation, a pre-filled field showing the data from the table: How many days of paid vacation the employee has left will appear).Thank you for your help! 😁

Is there a way to add default values to forms where when clicking into the field, the default values disappear?As in, I would like to input an example of the information I’m looking for, and then when the user clicks into the field, they type as if there was nothing there.

What permission levels (Owner, Creator, Editor, Commenter, Read only) to an Airtable workspace can someone without an Airtable account have?

Checking on if there is an update on this, as most posts about it are many years old. Can the airtable branding be removed from an embedded calendar?It seems none of the alternatives that I’m aware of can customize the visible days the way airtable can. Softr can do a week view (7 days with the weekend, or 5 days no weekend. Miniextensions can only do the whole month. Neither softr nor miniextensions can do the colorcoding.  Is there a workaround for this yet? 

I am new to Airtable and I work in Procurement. I have built something for our buyers to use and track all projects and contracts. What I have not been able to successfully do is create a savings report for upper management. I have looked online and youtube and I have been unsuccessful. Can anyone be so kind as to help me? 

Hi there. I’m pretty new to airtable and am having an issue with something that feels like it should be quite simple so I am assuming I am missing something obvious. I have a Product table linked to a Product Bundle table. In a single record in the Product Bundle table I have multiple linked records from inventory from name, cost roll-up, quantities etc… Works great. One thing that would be super handy is to find the individual item that is linked from the Product table with the closest expiry date. At the moment I am able to use a roll-up max value field to find the earliest expiry date but I cannot figure out how to reference the record name that it belongs to. For reference, I have 10-20 products linked in one bundle and the expiration determines how I will sell the particular product or if I can at all. I am trying to add a hyperlink that will direct applicants to a third party website within the help text of a form, in order for applicants to visit this site they will currently have to manually copy and past the link in to their browser.  is there a way to have it so that they could just click on the link provided and that would open up the link? so this english proficiency test link is the one I am referring to…   Thank you in advance!

So CSV has proven to be a problem for me. I downloaded a CSV file from Homebase, the database my dad used before either of us had ever heard of Airtable, and his product description cells were separated out because of all the commas within. How do I prevent that from happening with Airtable? I’m currently combing through my dad’s 50,000+ records to cut-and-paste clauses back into their origin cells and it is a complete nightmare. It’s not something I can do every time I download a CSV file from Airtable. Please, oh please, tell me there’s a way to avoid getting cells separated out because they’re long text fields with product descriptions that include commas. :fearful:
