We have unintentionally deleted a question out of a form where in the past business partners would insert their delivery Zip Codes. We usually update this info on the back end ourselves to the correct coverage radius. When trying to revert back to multiple old snapshots to correct the removal of this field we get an error message. Has anyone else had this issue when trying to restore old snapshots?

I am very new to Airtable, having trial account about a week ago. So far, I really like it. And I think I want to use it for my organization. I do have a question though. As far as I know (from reading multiple posts on it on community and on the FAQ), read-only collaborator do not have to be a paid users. My question is. For key people in the organization, Airtable Plus is definitive. But for the rest, do they have to be free users? Or can I have my organization to have several Plus collaborators and the rest on the Pro level and Free level? (Can’t seem to find this on FAQ). Also for all these users. Do they each have to make account (and paid separately), or the invoice will be sent to my organization as a whole in one invoice? Most platform I know require the admin to add the users (the latter). But since there is password and domain restricted shares on view, I suppose Airtable works a bit differently? I am attempting to call a POST API outside of AirTable to kick off another process. I am passing an x-authorization header with the proper token, but am getting a Status Code 401. The request method is “OPTIONS” when I inspect the code and look at the network headers. I believe the issue has something to do with the User-Agent I’m passing (inherited from the browser) because it works fine when I send the exact same request from Postman. I’ve tried manually overriding the User-Agent to match what I am sending via postman, but still getting the 401 Status Code. Any ideas?? Thanks! Joe

Item Price Row 1: Table 100 Row 2: chair 50 Row 3: Sofa 1000 Row 4: study Table 200 I have created 3rd table with multiple records for Electricals with item and price I am looking for a solution where I open Airtable, go to Table 1 and click on “Furniture” in Column 1 and it leads me to Furniture table for details. Similarly I click to “Electrical” in Column 1 it leads me to Electrical Table Please help

Hello, I’m trying to figure out how a Form view can be pre-populated with information from a record in the grid view - if possible I’d like this information to pre-populate in the description for the form item. The goal is that Form 1 will allow users to submit information that populates a grid view. Then, Form 2 would have some information from the grid view filled-in once that record matches a certain criteria. We recently switched from using spreadsheets to Airtable to track advertising sales, and I am quickly learning how Airtable does not have some of the basic abilities of a spreadsheet. In our old spreadsheet way of doing things, we were easily able to total up advertising sales in a field and compare it to an entry containing the budget goal for advertising sales. I cannot figure out how to do that in airtable. The attached image shows what I am trying to accomplish. I have been able to create a summary field in our table that ads up the total sales, but I cannot figure out how to create the budget line and % of budget reached line / formulas. Any help is appreciated!

Hi, im using Airtable to calculate invoice dated from when a client signs up depending on payment method and type. I have a start date, and i have a last invoice date and next invoice date. And im using a formula now to calculate next invoice date based on last invoice date. But if the last invoice date is empty i get an error. What i want to happen is that if there is no last invoice date, it should instead be start date. Here is my current working formula: DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Last Invoice Date},IF({Payment Method}="Quarter",90,IF({Payment Method}="Partner",360,30)),'day'),'YYYY-MM-DD') And as i said, if {Last Invoice Date} is empty i get an #error. My manual solution now is to just enter the start date manually in the last invoice field. Hey everyone, I’m trying to use my base to lookup all the field variations for a given primary field input. Basically, I’m compiling a list of games (Title) with different software that add 3D audio (Spatializer) and I’m looking for the most intuitive way for anyone to find the link for the respective Guide by just typing the Title. The closest 2 methods I found are: Duplicating the primary field (Title) so I can change the type to single select. This way, I can set up a form where I can start typing and have it auto-fill with Title options. Then I added the fields I want shown as conditionals and simulated it returning Gears of War record values.

Hello. I have a table where I have created a linked field to establish a new table. When I look at that new table, I notice some fields that are actually duplicates (e.g. the value of a field has a typo.) When I correct that typo, it seems like that record should go away and instead be incorporated into another record. But this doesn’t seem to happen. Here are the specifics. My original table has a field called “Type of Case”. I set up that field to be a linked field and to then create a new table based on it. So the new table called Type of Case has all if the cases (many:1 relationship to Case Name, meaning that an individual case can have multiple types). So, in the new table called Type of Case I see a few duplicates because of typos or inconsistent naming. For example, one type is “Personal Liability” and the other is “personal liability”. When I correct the lower case version to “Personal Liability”, I expect the other one to disappear altogether, meaning that it seems

Hello AT noob here, so apologies if this is very basic. We’ve set up a simple base that books staff against sites and dates. I want to make sure that we don’t accidentally double book a staff member on two sites on the same day. I have a field that logs each date a staff member is booked to work - I’ve tried to use deduce to identify any instances where are staff member has two identical dates booked, but I have so far not managed to make it work. is this the right way to go about it or is there a better way?

I have created a base that has a list of all my customers. I am looking to embed each individual record e.g. my customer data into another website so my staff can view it. I can’t seem to work out how to embed individual records. Is this possible? If not does anyone have any work around?

I have a great base setup that is then grouped by ‘Month’ and shows all of billing records through the month/year. Month being a single select column. Billing records being a different currency column. On the desktop app and through the browser, I am able to easily see the monthly and full annual total at the top of each ‘group’. On my mobile device, I am only able to see the count at the top of each group. The number of invoices I’ve billed out a month is not my top concern, instead I’d like to see how much I’ve billed that month total. How can I create this on mobile? Is there a separate setting, view, or do I need to create a new base altogether that pulls this data? I have created a pivot table through the app, but again cannot figure out how to show this on mobile.

We have the paid version of Airtable that allows private views to be hidden from others. I am creating views for multiple people and would like to hide each one from those they are not for. For instance, “Jeff’s view” would be available to him and me and hidden to everyone else. From what I’ve seen, a contributor has to create their own personal view in order to hide it from others? One of the biggest complaints from our team in implementing Airtable is that there is too much visually, so I’m creating separate views for each team member and would like to hide the others. I’m having a hard time. When I duplicate a table and put a specific filter like “where - your class - is - 1”, it was suppose to appear only the records where the fiel “class is 1” appear. However, when I fill out the form created to feed this database, and put it in the field “class 1”, it just goes to the original database, and it doesn’t go to the other duplicate base but with the filter. I remember this working normally when I had a PRO plan, and now I have a free plan and it is no longer working. Does this problem have to do with the plan?

I select Duplicate Table and toggle on Duplicate Records, but the records are not duplicated. Anyone else have this issue?

I use the Typeform integration with AirTable but when sending multi-select data where the user has chosen the “other” option and entered a custom value it doesn’t get added to my AirTable. Can anyone help me here?

Hey AT Users. Has anyone come across a good solution for either timestamping an updated element in a field or generating a timestamp for when a computed field contains a value vs when it is empty? For context: In our base there is a rich text field which includes a check list of about 10 items (done to eliminate the need of 10 separate fields, as there is already a LOT of data to process in this base). Using the following formula I can only return a timestamp for when the entire field was modified, not the particular element in that field: IF(FIND(" Milestone “,{Milestones Checklist}),DATETIME_FORMAT(SET_TIMEZONE(LAST_MODIFIED_TIME(), ‘America/Toronto’), ‘M/D/YYYY LT’,”")) If anyone has a work around for either timestamping when each of the 10 elements is marked with an x OR knows a workaround for timestamping a computed field - then I could add an IF(FIND("

Hi all. New user and still finding my way around. Just signed up for the 3 day mini-extension trial as I want to have a go with the Client Portal Mini-Extension. I’m not techy and have extensively Googled a ‘how to install’ the above but can’t find out how to do it anywhere. If I’m not careful my 3 days will be up before I’ve figured out how to install it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thought it would be obvious but can’t see how to add this or any other mini-extension. Many thanks

Hey Guys, I have used a formula that I copied from an answer here to create an end of month field. I have transaction dates for sales and i want to get the end of month date for each transaction date. It works for all months except when a transaction takes place in any december for some reason, in any year. For any other months, it works fine. This is the formula that I am using: DATEADD( DATETIME_PARSE( DATETIME_FORMAT( {TX DATE}, ‘YYYY’ ) & ‘-’ & (VALUE( DATETIME_FORMAT( {TX DATE}, ‘MM’ ) ) + 1) & ‘-01’, ‘YYYY-MM-DD’ ) , -1, ‘day’ ) Can anyone try to pinpoint what’s wrong with it please?
