I have a base with 2 tables. Table 1 is my “Contracts” table, Table 2 is my “Renewals” table. Both tables contain a field “contract n°” Every time a contract is being renewed an extra record is entered into the “Renewals table” I have now imported my existing data in the 2 tables. I don’t see how I can automatically link the 2 tables. I want to be able to click in table 1 and then get a view of all renewals for that contract only. I have far to much data to individually select records fom table 2 using linked record fields. I’m probably missing out on something?

Hi. I’m really enjoying the sync feature that was recently released. I currently have tables from multiple brands’ bases synced to my team’s base. Each sync table has the same 9 fields for uniformity. My ultimate goal is to consolidate the records from each of these sync tables into one table, so that I can assign date-specific tasks to my team. The easy part was getting this data into my table. I used the automation “When a record enters a view -> Create Record.” The hurdle I’m facing is that the synced tables I’m pulling from are getting updated with new publish dates, newly created notes, etc. Is there a way for the records in my table to automatically update when records in a synced table get updated? One thing I tried was another automation: “When a record is updated -> update record,” but I couldn’t figure out what to enter into the mandatory Record ID field. When I create a form is there a way to link it to an already created base? For example I have a CRM base. Many of the client info is already in the base but now I want to add birthday and mailing address? Can I link the form so they can input the info but it populates the already created record?

Hi There! I am trying to figure out how to create a multi-month drip campaign. It would look something like this: #1 I sent a form to a client, who then fills out the form, including with their email address #2 One month later they automatically receive an email from me #3 Two months later they receive another email #4 Two months later they receive another email #4 Three months later they receive one final email I am trying to figure out the easiest way to do this. Curious what people are using that seems to be cleanest? Airtable automations? Zapier? Something else? I am NOT super technical, but LOVE have made Airtable work for me in incredible ways so far!!

Is there a way to have different view settings individual stacks of kanban cards? For example: “Doing” stack needs to show the title, notes, linked project, due date, etc, “Done” stack needs to show the title, linked project and possibly due date. All other info is no longer needed once the item is complete. Anyone know how to achieve this?

Looking for advise/assistance in completing an efficient Integration from AT > GS. Let me start by saying that I know very little about scripting. I have seen some posts about getting AT data into GS, along with some pre-written scripts to do so. Thank you to those who have done so! I have additional steps that ZAP from GS to other GS after the data transfer, so using one of them that I found was over triggering my “future” ZAPs. My Current Setup: *New Record in AT = ZAP new Row to GS. *Multiple views in AT (new to view = Zap specific fields to GS). these are status update views (one for each status) that only pull certain Fields into GS from the ZAP. ie: status change, date, new/old kiosk serial#, contractor. *using ZAP (row=updated - seeing all columns) to then push data from MY GS to customers GS (which *changes weekly :frowning: ) - so simply copy the ZAP and change the parameters to match their new sheet every Friday. Hello, My wife just started using AirTable. As part of her job, her employer wants her to track Testimonials. Currently, the AirTable program has all the Testimonials listed in order, from 1-70. Her employer want her to add-in new Testimonials at the END of the list-- so most recent Testimonials will be the higher numbers in order. However, the program is causing any NEW Testimonials to instead be listed as #1, and then moving the rest of the Testimonials down a number position. Is there any way to adjust the settings to do what she wants? Thank you!

Hi Airtable friends, I am trying to prefill a form using parameters and then submit the form trough parameters in one URL. I am using the form prefill parameters to prefill the form like this. That works (?prefill_Form+example=blabla) Is there a Parameter for Submit? What I am trying to accomplish This will be used in a newsletter. The parameters will tell us who clicked the URL and populate airtable + send a e-mail using zapier. If there is a good alternative for this, that would be great aswell. :slightly_smiling_face:

Syncing a record with automator fails due to insufficient permissions. I’m a creator on the bases, so not sure whats the root cause.

Zapier can help make Airtable do awesome things, but I’m finding it intensely frustrating when developing and refining a new Zap that a backlog of Airtable records can develop that should be candidates for processing by the Zap, but wont be processed at all because they are no longer ‘new’ records in the view. Even if I create a dummy view using same filters, and assign the Zap to process the records in that view it still wont work because the records are already in that dummy view when the zap is assigned. Other problems occur if I assign the zap to the dummy view then update the filters to populate it because there is no initial candidate record to test and validate the Zap. What is the best practice way to manage this? Its driving me mad!

Hey all, I recently added a new base to my Pro Plan utilising the new sync function. I have added barely any information to it, however, it is saying it is over limits. When I check the billing page it looks to be in all below the required maximums. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I’ve seen some of the templates, such as this one include a popup welcome window that explains the different areas of the base. Can I use a welcome popup in my base? It’s a resource collection, designed to be accessed by lots of non-contributors, usually on a one-time basis but occasionally repeating. Thanks in advance!

I can’t seem to find an answer to this in the forums, likely due to language used. How many people can be editing a live database at once? If we have 40 different views, can 40 people be editing that data live? What is the max?

Hi, everyone! I’m using Airtable as my inventory management app. My idea is when an item gets 0 Stock Quantity - I want it to be removed from an assigned location which is a linked table. From what I understand, I should setup an automation like If record matches condition (If record ID Stock Quantity is = 0) action will be to update the item location. However, I don’t understand the choices on the Field part. What does “Make list of” and “length” means and where is the part here to select the options from the linked table? Looking to chart a series of data points over time with the following structure. Column A = Week Start Column B-G = data points which are items in numbers/hr that relate to one another and would be helpful to see everything in one graph. Is this possible?? Note: I am aware I could do this in a 3 column base that was structured as follows: Column A = Week Start Column B = Tag to modify data Column C = Data point The problem with this method is the data is no longer human visible as a table and the number of rows would multiple by 6x. I am also not sure how we would automate data entry in this method. Currently we have a system on another sheet that creates the Week Start that fills this sheet and all of the numbers auto fill. That is a necessity, it would not be possible to manually enter this much data specially in this 3 column format.

Hello everyone. I have some questions about airtable. Can I use typescript for automation script? If I define the type of value, it says “‘types’ can only be used in a .ts file.(8010)”. And I can use @ts-ignore for it. Is there any update or change for automation script? It forced me to change it like so. const userId = context[“userId”] It’s really annoying me and I had to change all code. I’d like to know what happened nowadays. I have an Airtable with sports results. Any athlete can submit results for their performances. An athlete can submit results for the same workout. Workout | Athlete | Result A | Peter | 13:22 B | Peter | 4:32 A | Mary | 13:12 A | Peter | 11:53 I want to embed rankings for each workout on my website. BUT… For each athlete I only want their best result to be included in the rankings. So the ranking for workout A should look like this: Peter 11:53 Mary 13:12 and NOT Peter 11:53 Mary 13:12 Peter 13:22 Do I need to create a new table for this? How do I only put highscores in that table? How do I get the ranking position 1, 2, 3 etc. into that table… I am pretty new to Airtable and have no idea what to search for…

Hi. When i open the share view link at desktop browsers, it works fine. all options ( download .csv) are available. But when i open the same link at chrome browser in mobile device, those options are not been appeared on the screen . Please give any advice.

Hi all, [Spoiler: I’m not an IT professional and am pretty new to AT, so thank you in advance for bearing with me :slightly_smiling_face: ] I have made a ‘contact’ base to hold client addresses, with the following fields (these need to be split out this way for other operations elsewhere); Address 1 Address 2 Town/City County Postcode Very often, one or two of these are vacant (usually Address 2 and/or County). Postcode might be, too. Ideally I also need to show an address as a single line, with the fields separated by commas. When I use the formula; CONCATENATE({Address Line 1}, ", ", {Address Line 2}, ", ",{Town/ City}, ", ",(County), ", ",(Postcode)) I get commas between the empty fields; Is
