Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question… How do I make a spreadsheet? Like Google sheets? Air Table: I read it was like a spreadsheet but much better. All I need for the moment though is just the basic spreadsheet. I’m sure I’ll get round to using the more advanced items later. Thanks.

Hello, I’d like to know if it’s possible to post or embed a record from a page designer block to a website? For example, we use the page designer block to create a price list. Is it possible to post this as a pdf download link on our site so it’s always up to date automatically?

I have a form built to have orders placed, we have a linked table of member shops, there are around 6,000 shops, Currently it only shows the shop names on the list. Many of the shops have similar names. Is there a way to get the dropdown list to also show the city, customer number, Owner name to help confirm which shop is ordering?

I work with a company and we have 3 different airtable pro accounts. Is there a way to link them to one workspace so I can share and edit bases within this workspace and not get charged an additional feel even though the others have their own account?

I feel like this is a very basic question, but after I use table switcher (ctrl+J) to switch tables using the keyboard, I then want to be able to keyboard around the records and fields in the table I have just switched to. But at present I am ‘stuck’ and can’t get to the point where a field is highlighted, unless I mouse click on a record, which is what I’m trying to avoid. The only solution is to ctrl-F, type something and then hit enter when a cell is selected. From there I can keyboard around between fields and records in the usual way (arrow keys etc). It feels like the tab key should do this - ie move me ‘into’ the table - but it doesn’t.

I am really hoping someone knows how to do this, if it’s possible. My records have fields such as Name, Last Name, Email Address, etc. What I would like is to be able to send a Form to the attendees of an event, have them fill it out, attach a pdf and submit it. That pdf should then save into a specific column in the correct person’s row. Tying it to the person’s email address seems like the best way to identify which record to tie it to. And I’ve created a form that asks for Name, Last Name, Email Address and then the file. But how do I link the submitted pdfs to this column in my sheet? I only seem to have the option to either have a linked field, or an attachment field.

I work in a real estate office and have created a base to track sales of all the Realtors for the company. So far I have it set up to automatically calculate commission amounts as well as keep a running total of pending sales volume and closed sales volume. I have tables created for the various transaction scenarios, which are all linked back to an “Agents” table which stores information on each agent, such as their current commission level and a running balance of their sales volume. So far everything is calculating perfectly but the agents are set up on a tiered commission plan which means they have the potential of moving up to a higher level. Right now my tables are set up to calculate a commission based on the current level each agent is at, but if someone moves to the next level, how can I structure it to where it will calculate at the new commission level without changing the sales that were previously entered? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

I’m looking at using a Gannt chart to adjust dates of projects as needed. If I drag dates further out, the tasks that are dependent on them move appropriately. If I then drag to an earlier date, the tasks that were dependent DON’T also move to an earlier date. WHY??? To make things even weirder, if I drag one task that is dependent on another to an earlier date, it forces the tasks ABOVE to move back which doesn’t seem like that should be a thing (aka a subtask is forcing the timelines of higher tasks). Any thoughts on how I can make this work better?

As you can see from my screenshot, I have a weird behaviour with my formula. It converts 2019 into 2020 for an unknown reason… Here is my formula to calculate the number of days between the download of an App and the moment where a user make a specific action. Hello all, I’m trying to set up database that shows the relationship between boat brands and boat dealers (i.e., what boat dealers sell which boat brands) and I’ve run into a confusing problem. One of the records in the boat brands table switches between 2 names - Sea Bass and Robalo - and I have no idea how to fix it. The brands are not duplicates nor are they associated in any way. How can I fix this? This issue is affecting the data my boss needs to help move forward with a project. Thank you!

I have a base with several tables that link. We are a horse show association and I’m trying to pull together either a view that I can share with my members or a report I can download to paste on our website. I have these fields Last Name First Name Horse Name Type Discipline Class Points Our members can earn points in any class. So I need a report that shows classes and the points associated. They may have 1 row or 100+ rows for a single class. I need to sum the Points for each class by name/horse name. They can also earn points in disciplines. Similar to classes, I need to sum the points for each discipline. Then I have a tricky one - our overall. It sounds like it should be easy, just the total number of points a member/horse earn. But we pull out one type of class for most members. If they show in both types of classes they can only earn points in one type based on what they select at the beginning of the year. Th

Hey crew! I’ve been wrestling with a problem the past few hours and have decided it is time to ask for help. My airtable database is setup with players and parents tables. Players can be associated with multiple parent records, and parents can be associated with multiple player records. I have created a zap that distributes the data from a form to my airtable database. The form asks if the person filling out the form is a player or a parent. That info is then used to filter the zap. If they are a player, the zap will only add/update a player record. If they are a parent, the zap will add/update a parent record, and then add/update a player record. So I’ve turned on my zap, everything seems hunky dory, I’m sucking back on a few beers feeling good about myself as I do my ‘final tests’. I have tables for Events, Contacts, and Schools. (There are about 12 other tables but not relevant to this) The Events are related to the Contacts (multi-select) The Contacts are related to the Schools (more than one student can be associated with the same school. My goal is a view or report that lists the event and the NUMBER of students from each school that attended the event. So it would show: Event Name, Number of students associated with School #1, Number of Students associated with School 2, etc. I tried using a rollup field but am lost on the proper setup. Any help with as many specifics as possible would be appreciated.

I am using the script from @Mike_Pennisi to send a single Welcome SMS to new records in my table. I tested it as a ‘Block’ script and it works great. But when I tried to use it in an automation, it throws an error. What is different about these two environments? hi, i’m currenly trying to use integromat to copy data from one base to another. but when there’s a linked column. it copies its record id instead of its field value. i tried turning on smart link, but it still copies record id instead of its value. any help please?

I’m using Integromat to search Airtable. I’m trying to think through the logic of an Airtable search. I have weekly podcast episodes that I produce across several podcasts. In Airtable I have all future episodes listed up through 11/11/2020 (67 days away and a Wednesday since I release on Wednesdays). I want Integromat to search 56 days in advance of “today” (running the scenario on Wednesday’s). If there is a result of an already created record for that day, but not for the next week, I want it to give me those records so I can create new ones. Does that make sense? Doing some research it looks like I need an “AND” search: AND( {Publish Date} = {{addDays(TODAY(); 56)}}, ???) Thoughts?

I created a view and shared it; however, when they attempt to click on what I know to be a linked table, they are unable to do so. For instance, they can see the contact person’s name but can’t click on it to reveal the details it contains from the Contact table. What are my options to allowing this person read-only access to this main table while also being able to click on any linked tables?

Hello, I wanted to ask if it is possible to update the status of a record in Airtable when receiving a mail from the email of the record the first time.
