Can anyone tell me how to print out my hundreds of poems once I finally get them tagged and sorted into books? They vary in length from 4 lines to 140 lines. Page Designer seems to give me ONLY a fixed height field, nothing automatically expanding or contracting to show the whole poem and nothing to go to an additional page. I found this thread. Is this really a dead end? It seems like content management and printing would be essential features for Airtable.

Can you add a start date and finish date to the left side of the Gantt Chart this is really critical for a easy to read document for projects

Hi there, I’m using the new Gantt Block for product planning. Overall it is great but I’m having some difficulties with sorting. Here is the situation: I have a set of tasks grouped by workstream Each task has a start and end date I have a gantt of all the tasks, grouped workstream The order of the gantt is alphabetical by workstream, rather than by start date by workstream This means that the blocks appear all over the place. Any ideas to fix this so that the workstream with the earliest start date is at the top?

Hey Guys, I see this is a common thread but unfortunately I wasn’t able to find the solution from the answers here. I am trying to create a statement of account on page designer. I will need to upload an entire table from my bases but I can’t seem to do it. I can only insert one record at a time and this isn’t sustainable. What’s the best solution here?

Here is the use-case/workflow: Assume we have multiple workspaces and bases. In the desktop application, when user A wants to share the link to a base with user B, already a collaborator on the base, how can this be accomplished. On this browser it is simple. Copy the link from the address bar and share it. How can something similar be accomplished in the desktop application? The Share button has options that are not required for existing collaborators. Of course, the base name can be shared and that can be searched. But this involves multiple steps. Thanks!

Hello the community, I am an early new user of AirTable and just start to understand all the infinites possibility associated. I’m trying to build a database / directory of startups, with different associated variables: sector, development, turnover etc… Some data can be scraped directly from legal information sites about companies. I was doing this scraping with Google Sheet via the “importhtml” function. Is it possible to connect my Google Sheet scraping sheet with my airtable records? Is there a tool for scraping data on certain columns only? How can I update this data automatically? (form ? bot ?) Thank you for your help

Hello all, So I have am managing the covid recorded daily temps for a football club with multiple teams. I have the following tables: Teams (U16 etc), Players and Player Temps each linked 1 to many. I need to be able to add a record to Player Temps but from a list of players (Filtered and/or grouped) in the players table. Searching for each player individually as they come through the door is too slow. I could just create a daily set of records (list) automatically to record against but that seems a little ridiculous. This all needs to be done on the mobile app so in a grid view… I’m an experienced programmer “elsewhere” used to using master/detail layouts but this is my first look at Airtable. Any help very much appreciated.

I have products each product can have parts (name + quantity) or can be a bundle of parts (name + quantity). I would like to create a production planning for a week. I would like to create a view of all row material I need for the production of the current week. For example Product 1,2,3 are simple product, Product 4 is a bundle product consists of products 2(qty 1),products 3(qty 2). In the current week I need to create 10 products of Product 1 and 10 of product 4. The report should show me:product 1 10, product 2: 10 and product 3: 20 Is it possible to implement it in Airtable? Hello, I am trying to use the calendar view. I have many formula fields that are calculating different dates. I am only seeing two of those listed here. Is this a bug? Or is there something in the formulas that is making it not appear as a date? here are the two formulas that do show up in the list: SET_TIMEZONE(DATEADD(DateOfReply, -1, ‘days’),‘America/Pacific’) IF(HOUR({DateOfReply_Pacific}) >=20, DateOfReply, PreviousDay_Pacific) And here is one that I need that isn’t showing up: IF(HOUR({DateOfReply_Eastern}) >=20, DateOfReply_Eastern, PreviousDay_Eastern)

on iphone inside the filtered view ( based on the status) , after i update the status , notification says: “This record is filtered in the current view”. Problem is I can’t swipe up or down , I have to go back and pick the next record. If the this message ( operatoin ) is delayed by two second, I’d be able to swipe down or up and gain more productivity. Can you guys look into it ?

Guys, need your help. I want to create multiple records using forms. I have a linked field called “Property”, I want to add a new record of properties that has the same amount. I don’t want to actually submit a form 3 times. For example: Property 1, Property 2, Property 3 = Amount: $50, then SUBMIT The output in airtable concatenates these in 1 single record instead of adding new records for each property. why doesnt it show the serial number in the iphone ? ??

Newbie question: how do I make a form or view where I see one row in the ‘master’ table, e.g. Order, and I see all the associated records in the ‘detail’ table, e.g. Order Line? I found this feature request from a couple of years ago but I’m hoping Airtable now has some way to do this fundamental way of looking at data? In my particular case I’d like users to be able to browse through records in my ‘master’ table, seeing a handful of fields in the selected master record, and see a tabular display of the associated records in the detail table. I’ll have a couple of buttons (or similar) allowing them to perform actions on the master record they’re currently viewing (e.g. Approve, Reject, triggering a script block to run for that record). thanks, Rory

I would like to have a multiple select field with the additional option of free text. Is it possible to add that to the multiple select or to conditionally show an additional field if “other” is chosen as part of the multiple select?

I’m maybe approaching this the wrong way but I’d like for customers to be able to upload multiple files as part of an order form and then have an easy way to break these into multiple order lines in a separate table. Right now I have a separate table where I create multiple records linking back to the original order with a lookup field on the things that I want from the order but that leaves me with multiple attachments for both. I could create a separate attachments field for the new order line table but I don’t see a good way for people to pick files that are already in Airtable rather than having to download them and then reupload them individually per record. Am I approaching this wrong or is there a better way to do this?

how to drag and drop 100s of records from bottom to the top

Hi everyone, I’m trying to create a PDF generation automation. I have a number of PDF “concept notes” each of them tied to a particular option I’d like to list in a form. I would like users to be able to use a multi-select option in the form to select which concept note they would like to be emailed, and have the automation merge all the options they selected into a single PDF, then email that to the user. I’m not sure how to design the automation to search for the docs (in a Google Drive) based on the form responses. How would you go about setting up such an automation? Any feedback or ideas welcome! Hello All! I want to share a workspace with collaborators. Each collaborator will be able to access to a selection of grid views. They will be able to edit the content of the cells of the grids but I don’t want them to be able to create a new grid, or kaban etc… I don’t want them to see also “automation menu”. In one word I want them not feeling to be in airtable but more in a saas software with only few options. Do you think it’s possible? Moreover I created a dashboard. But I have the feeling that the only way to see the dashboard is to clic on “blocks” button in the top right corner but it don’t display it in full screen, it’s not really user friendly. Do you know if it’s possible display a dashboard in a user friendly way? Many thanks for your help!

Can someone explain the relevance of the calendar display when the records displayed show the date (see pix). It would be more relevant to show a name or a phone number or some other info other than the date. Am I missing something here?
