I’m sharing an “Airtable Calendar View” with Google calendar (via an iCal subscription link ). Twice in a couple of weeks the link appears to have broken and events no longer show on my Google calendar. On the first occasion all events were missing so I Unsubscribed from the Calendar and then re-subscribed which seemed to fix the issue. On the second occasion only a few events are showing on random days - Resetting the link hasn’t worked this time - any suggestions gratefully received

Hi, I am trying to run a script through an Automation. The Automation is triggered by records entering a view. I receive the following error on a line that does updateRecordAsync: Error: You are not permitted to perform this operation I am not sure why because updateRecordAsync is used in the example provided here: Airtable - Support

Hi all Hope you can help. Using the scripting block, how could I loop through the records and return the value of a lookup field. All other fields are fine but linked and lookup fields throw an error. So I have been trying to zap my jotform submissions into Air table. Everytime I i put in a search field and a value to make the zap work, I keep coming up with errors, what am I missing? My air table almost mirriors the jotform submissions Has anyone done a zap with jotform and airtable?

Hey Airtable community, Wondering if anyone has an easy solution for this… Currently, we’ve got a survey set up that we send to a multitude of clients. Some of the fields need to be duplicated more than once as some of the questions are for specific individuals rather than the company/organization as a whole. Is there an easy way (such as a "add more fields or “+” button that would allow the client that is filling out the form to duplicate a set of fields on their own? Or does this need to be set up manually with conditional formatting in place? Previously we’ve manually set up duplicated fields that are conditionally formatted to a specific number that’s noted by the client filling out the survey (i.e. # of employees). Where if the answer is equal to 5 or more, 5 duplications of the required fields pop up for the client. If the answer is 10, 10 duplications of the required field pop up for the client to fill in. Hi Airtable community, I’m planning to use Airtable as the datastore for a statically generated site I’m building using GatsbyJS. I’ve been really impressed by the ease of use of this tool! I’m looking for the ability to create a carousel of images that have a caption and alt text per images. My idea was to have each image be a row in a table, with caption and alt text being additional columns. I would group them by an additional column, to have multiple carousels. Is it possible to limit a row with an attachment column to just have one attachment? Also if it sounds like I’m going about this the wrong way, I’d appreciate any feedback. Thank you!

Wondering if it’s possible to format within the chart block. For example, I have a scatter chart, and the dots are tiny. I want bigger dots!!! Possible? I didn’t see it. Thank ya

Greeting, I am using airtable as CRM with all leads being managed and assigned via airtable. One of the main challenge I have is that a lot of the Sales team are missing their appointments (Whenever a lead come to the system, it comes with the best date and time to call) I want to create a reminder and email notification to be send to the sales team 10 minutes before each appointment so they can call the customer on time How can i create such column with 0 or 1 Whenever the time of appointment is 10 minutes earlier to the current time it turns into 1 then i can create a view with filter for all the value of (1) And finally i can create a zap for each new record on that particular view (I can take care of it afterward) Is that possible? I’ve already often weighed against the VIEWs in the SCRIPT-BLOCK section but when it evolves in the right direction, it doesn’t leave me indifferent. Most importantly, AIRTABLE DEV team, keep going, read the Product Suggestions about the most requested VIEWS UI and features and don’t stop on the way ! olπ @Jason @Kasra

I’ve created a Zap to create a calendar event based on a Field (formula) from a filtered View on a specific Base. When testing on one specific event, it works and the event shows up on my calendar. However, it is not creating events for all the records in that particular view. I’m thinking it may be possible that the reason is that the trigger is a new record (even though the test event already exists in the base). Anyone have any ideas on how I can get Zapier to trigger off of all of the existing records in this view and create all the events for those records, as well as new ones I will create going forward? I have the first column with a start date (Date Submitted). I am wanting to know how to code so that the next column will show how many days are passing since the start date (Date submitted). Then if the status (another column) comes back as closed it’ll then show closed.

I have been getting inconsistent results when inputting data in a linked record field. When I paste a comma separated list into the field, I randomly get one of the following results: Linking to each comma separated record Creation of a single new linked record with a long name of the entire list. I have performed the paste action several times in a row and gotten different results. Can anyone explain why? Has anyone else had this? Scenario 1 is the result I am expecting. Thank you!!

This may be the wrong category, but I need to join two tables for output of our data. Good Morning! I am having some difficulty with getting an automation to connect with Teams. My admin said he logged in and granted access, but when I try to log in, it doesn’t work. Do I have to be on his Airtable account? Or have him perform the Teams login on my account? Any similar experiences out there? Thank you!

Hi All, Struggling with a formula if anyone can help! I would like the fee to show in the field, if the date booked is a 2018 date. Then I’ll have another field pulling out all the 2019 fees etc. Then use a roll up to bring in the totals to another tab. When I do the formula below it pulls in all Fees no matter what the date is, and when I click back in to the formula it has removed the ,0 part. IF({Date Booked}>=(01/01/2018),{Date Booked}<=(31/12/2018),{Fee £},0) Any help much appreciated! Thanks Neil

We built an agile Gantt chart in AirTable. We’ve got tables with Sprints, Epics and Tasks. Is it possible to disallow the start of a sprint date that is before or after an epic? So the idea would be if an engineer schedules a Sprint to start after the Epic closes, they wouldn’t be allowed to.

Every time I open Airtable and go to my most-used table, the same Personal view always loads. I think it is the first grid I set up in the table and right now it’s my only Personal view. However, I would like to have a different view load as a default. Per the suggestins in a previous closed thread (Change Default View), I tried moving the desired view to the top of the list, and also to quit Airtable on the desired view and reopen, but it still goes to the Personal view. Is there a way to change this? I’d love to see an option in the view controls to set ia particulare view as the default for the table. Thanks Helen

Hi All, so this might be dead simple but its killing me. We are rolling out airtable to many people within the business, however some have access/are visably able to see the “Views sidebar”, and some it is a dropdown. i mean this: but some can only see this: so what my question is, how can i switch between the two. I have tried the SHIFT+ CONTROL+K, but this just opens the dropdown menu. surely there is a way to toggle between the two. thanks! Rob

My Company is a VOD service, We are creating a content programming grid and a calendar view for our episodes daily content: We want to address each episode to its specific date in an automated way to know the volume of the content in a daily bases. For example, I have Release Date, Pattern Release/Week “7”, and No of Episodes. there are some conditions excluding weekends, not applicable with all titles though. What I want to do it, I want to sum all values belonging to a specific category in another summary table. Income Category

I have a form with a lot of questions, which I’m sharing with people as a questionnaire. Is there a way to have the questions numbered? My questionnaire looks good otherwise, but I’d really like to have each question numbered. I hope there’s a way to do this. Thanks in advance!
