Hello! I’m trying to start the 14 day Pro Trial but I can’t find out how to start it anywhere. When I signed up, I was automatically placed on the free version with no option to choose the trial. Upgrading only gives me the option of paying for a Pro subscription, but I would like to try it before committing. Is there a specific URL I need to visit, or do I need to make a new account that’s signing up for the trial specifically, or is there something else I’m missing? I checked the relevant FAQ entry but it had no information on this topic.

I have a table that tracks costs incurred at different dates and I’m trying to make a report with the script block that lets the user select a week number witch will then show only show the costs incurred in that week. I have formular field on my view that converts the date to a week number. First and foremost, I absolutely love airtable. I’ve searched the forum for my answer so I’m looking for a pinch of clarity. I’ve got a “meal plan” with 6 separate meal groups (meal 1, 2, 3…) take “Meal 1” for example. 3 food items in meal 1 but the user can select different items from the attached “food list” if they’d like. I’ve got everything good to go except for the removal of certain editor permission in the food list table. Can I allow someone the editing rights but restrictions on the user: typing, adding records to the food list table, accidentally deleteting a record or toying with formula peramiters. Just simply selecting records in the food list table. One likely workaround is using notifications when a user/collaborator makes and edit. I’ll be using that notification regardless but would feel much more confident if I can avoid user/collaborator mishaps. Thx in advance for any input in this regard

Hi AirTable Folks - I’m making liberal use of the CSV Import function. However I just unfortunately over-wrote some data I did not intend to. After reading through the data, I realized my mistake. I tried using “undo” but AirTable is not undoing the import through the undo function. Is there some way to undo a block import into AirTable?

Is there a way to only let specific people see a table within a base? Thank You!

Here is what I am trying to do. Table 1 has two fields (date, # widgets) Table 2 has two fields (date, total widgets) Table 1 has 4 records. Here they are: 1/1/2020, 2 1/1/2020, 5 1/7/2020, 1 1/7/2020, 1 I want Table 2 to sum up all the widgets by date. So I would want Table 2 to show… 1/1/2020, 7 1/7/1010, 2 How can I do this? I would manually add the date in Table 2 and the Total Widgets field would automatically add up the # Widgets field from Table 1 based on the date. Is it possible to do this? If so… how? Hi there, I’m doing an IFTTT to Airtable integration, which creates recurring tasks. The only challenge I’m facing is adding the current date. IFTTT passes a date as “August 08, 2020 at 09:31PM” which Airtable can’t use. So I’m looking for other solutions. One possible solution is using Automation and Scripting. Any new record created in view runs a script that adds the current date to my “Date” column. Can anyone help me with this script? Or suggest another way of adding the current date, without changing the Date field into a formula field - since I input most dates manually. Cheers, Subir

Using SendGrid, is there a way to have a Good {morning, afternoon, evening} tag based on the time the record is created? Or will this require more hidden fields to accomplish?

When I select creation time it will show both the date and time. I only want to show the time portion. How would I do this?

I am the only user on my AirTable account. I utilize a large storage plan on Dropbox. Is it possible to link the Attachments from AirTable directly into this Dropbox as opposed to having to purchase an additional storage plan at double the subscription cost from AirTable?

Basically what is said above. I have a huge database already in Airtable and recently received a massive spreadsheet. In the spreadsheet there are linked documents and I was hoping to upload the whole thing, including attached documents, into Airtable. Does anyone know of an easy way to do this?

Hi, I have a list of rows with numbers. I would like to be able to send SMS to specific numbers, but it seems I can only send SMS to All the row. Is there a way to add a kind of button or something, to be able to select some numbers I want to contact ? Thanks, Sébastien

Hi all. New to Airtable. I help out with a volunteer organization, and volunteers use the Airtable base to keep track of incoming calls. I would like to find out at what times we receive the most calls. I’ve tried playing around with blocks and I can find out the most popular days of the week, but is there a way to get more granular? (for example, a bar graph that shows how many records were created between 9am-12pm, 12pm-3pm, 3pm-7pm)?

My organization I work for is using Airtable to keep track of records. One of our bases is over the limits for our Free Plan and currently on a grace period. How long is the grace period and will my records be deleted when that grace period is over? Thank you!

Dear Airtable Community! I’m designing a website that lets users search for and find organizations, collectives and cooperatives in Mexico City that match their interests. Since I don’t know how to code, I decided to use airtable as my data source and simply embed search forms on wix that redirect to specific google calendar views and airtable views based on the person’s interests. Now that I’m thinking of publishing the site, I realized I know nothing about websites! If somebody is filling out an embedded airtable form in a wix site, would I need an SSL to protect the information they share? I’m not collecting anything as sensitive as payment info, but I do use airtable forms to collect emails, full names, and addresses for volunteers or people who want to make in-kind donations. I would also love any recommendations on where to purchase a domain. I will need to pay at least the combo plan in wix to have my own domain, but am hesitant to buy the domain with the

Using the solution i found in a similar thread but this formula keeps returning an error. I can’t figure out where it has gone awry. The Total Time field is field type: duration. The others are multiple select. Without the DATETIME FORMAT i dont get an error but get the time as raw seconds and that isn’t helpful. Hey everyone! I am a super new user so I apologize if these questions have been asked before (did search but… you never know! ^_^) I am making a form for furniture removal requests and I am wondering if I can do the following things automatically fill in date column with the date the form is submitted auto-generate a case/tracking # in the case column-- ideally id like it be a concatenation of the year and month, and a count of items (so the first item would be something like 0820_0001 or 0820_1 … whatever’s easier)… i’d be happy if it was just a raw count though. I’d like to have a category drop down menu (which I’ve successfully created), but I’d like to add a last category called ‘other’ that would let the user fill in their own category Similarly. I’d like the user to be able to enter the item type (office chair, file cabinet), but ideally I would love it if the form could offer other values from that

Hi, I need to extract the time and date from strings such as this one and add them as a separate cell in the record: “Thu 7/06 9:00am - Vinyasa Yoga @ Millennium Park” I’m trying this but it’s returning “-2”: MID(my_string, FIND("/",my_string), - 2) Also tried this to get the date and time up until the “:”: MID({Class Title}, FIND("/",{Class Title},0), -2,FIND(":",{Class Title})) [my_string is actually the field where the string is hosted] What would you recommend to extract the date? Here’s a hypothetical scenario that describes what I’m trying to do. Let’s say I have a table that has two fields: author name and genre. I have a second table that tracks books and their genres. I would like to create a dropdown field to select an author name but I only want to see the author names that are in the genre specified in that specific row. Is it possible to use a field in one table to match up and limit the view of the dropdown values from another table? Sorry if this is confusing.

Is it possible to add-to or append an image / attachment to an airtable cell that already contains an image / attachment? I realize that this is more than likely possible if I were to retrieve the stored airtable image first, BUT I would like to avoid this to save the time of downloading, storing locally and re-uploading the same images as that seems a bit redundant… Any ideas are appreciated! Note: Update methods just replaces the previously stored image.

Hi. I have created a template on page designer that allows me to print off labels with content from my records. Each record has up to 8 labels (split across two sheets of A4). Looks amazing but when I try to print, only the first page is printing? How do I get the additional pages to print? I have tried changing print and page sizes to ‘lengthen’ the custom page to the equivalent of two A4 sheets but it didn’t work. Is this only a one page tool?

I want to create an issues tracker base. One column will be a manually entered submission date. Column next to it will be “Time elapsed” field to show how long this issue has not been solved yet (in days). How can I calculate the “time elapsed field” in days since the date entered in the “submission date field”. I found this question here already: Counting Days Lapsed since Date Field
