How can i share base and use with out sign in ??
I have a meal plan database. On the first table, I have the meals associated with dates and ingredients for each meal and on the second table, I have the ingredients with a lookup date; which show me a list of ingredients and the date I need them. How can I have this lookup date (sometimes more than one) display in Kanban where each day is a column?
I’m using Airtable as an Applicant Tracking System (far more advanced than the template they give us to start out with) and as part of that I have to send Rejection emails or next step emails. I want to create a sendgird block for each email type so I don’t have to keep changing the subject and content over and over again and I was wondering if I could use the same SendGrid API key to do that or am I supposed to request another API key, one for each block.
I am new to Airtable, and my trad spreadsheet skills are average, so please stick with me. I have checked and can’t see how to complete my base, but I am sure it can be updated to suit my conditions! I am creating a base to track an individuals career/job search activity that will also act as a personal CRM of the hiring process of each opportunity as it moves into engagement with an opportunity provider (Company). The base has four tables: Opportunity Long-List Listing fields related to sourcing suitable target companies and or jobs found Opportunity Outreach Listing only those filtered as appropriate from the Long-list table when a specific condition is met and adding new fields relevant to tracking the hiring/engagement process workflow events to be recorded. Company Containing fields relative to core company information such as address web links, core service or products description. Stakeholder Records individuals identified as relevant to a specific opportunity or possible infl
I’m a new user and I’ve been very much enjoying setting up my bases for CRM and project management for the past few weeks. It’s working really well for me. I’ve had a sudden realisation though, if airtable has downtime or crashes my entire project management system and ability to have a clue about anything related to my clients and jobs would be gone! #MajorRisk I would like to find out how stable long-term users have found the platform and if anyone has any methodology for mitigating this risk please? Thank you.
Hello, I’m currently trying to take my primary field in a table and concatenate based on what applies. The table itself is pretty basic - using it for client information; i.e. First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name, Spouse First Name, Spouse Last Name, and other basic information. We have some clients where we want the spouses other last name for whatever reasons. What I’m wanting to do is have the primary field concatenate certain information when 1 IF applies, OR concatenate different information if the OTHER IF applies. For Example: IF({Spouse Last Name}!=Blank(), Concatenate({Last Name}, ", ", {First Name}, " & ", {Spouse First Name})) -OR- IF({Spouse Last Name}, Concatenate({Last Name}, ", ", {First Name}, " & ", {Spouse Last Name}, ", ", {Spouse First Name}) My problem is combining those IF statements so that both would apply, so IF it meets criteria of 1, it applies that concatenated formula, or if it meets the criteria of the other 1, it applies that concatenated formula
I am just getting familiar with Airtable, doing some test driving, so sorry if this has been answered elsewhere and I just couldn’t find it. I would say a vast majority of the Projects we do all use the same tasks over and over. Is there a way to create like a “preset” when you add a Project it just pre-populates a set of all the common tasks? I’d considered just using 1 task that is attached to multiple projects but we’ll track time on those tasks and although they are all the same task they may take a different amount of time to complete. Not to mention, different employees may be completing them so they’d need to be assigned to different people.
Is there a way to view all of the field permissions that I have set in my base or do I have to click on each field individually and check there?
I’m rather new to Airtable but I’ve been playing around with it this week and I’m not finding it easy to do what I want to do. I’ve searched the net and all roads point to using Zapier to copy data from one table to another. Here is my situation: I have a table called Scheduled Orders that has the same data every day. Quantities/Prices might increase over time but the idea is to have one master schedule and every day at said time, it will create these order in the Order Board table. I have not found a way to do this and my Zapier “zap” is not working. I need some help from users who may have done this or something similar before. Summary: Select all scheduled orders from the scheduler table. For each scheduled order, populate on the Orders Table. I need to create a new order each time. Any help greatly appreciated. Jason
Hi community ! I have ann issue with a zap (by zapier) I use to send a mail to each new users (in a record). I would like to display in a view records that follow certain criteria. The fact is that a record can appear in this view, disappear few minutes later, and appear again. I would like to send an email each time this record appear in this view, but it doesn’t work, it seems like the record is save in zapier memory … Do u know if i have to wait a certain time till the record id is forget ? Thanks by advance !
Is there a way to copy and paste a whole row or column? I would already have the column name and type set up -i just want to copy the information in the rows and columns. It doesn’t seem to let you copy and paste more than one cell. I’ve tried dragging to select and holding control while selecting but that doesn’t seem to work.
I am trying to setup a client portal with an external plugin. In my table, each record represent a client case. Considering to setup a simple login mechanism. Is it safe to use the RECORD_ID() as the password of the particular record? Or any workaround to generate a random password for each record (case)?
I have a business that deals with a single recurring service, typically occurring every 1-3 years. My intent in using Airtable is to manage all of my Contacts, Services Performed, and the ability to identify when a Contact is due for a recurring service. I currently have a Contacts table, as well as a Services Performed table (I have Zapier add the performed service, pulling from my Google Calendar). I link the two tables via phone number. I would like to have all the dates that the service has been performed for a contact displayed in the Contacts table in a single cell, with the ability to roll it up to most recent service (or just add another cell to do so). Additionally, I would like all corresponding fields updated (or added if different). Also, if possible, I would like a new contact added if there is no match in Services Performed (though this may only be possible through Zapier). Thank you in advance for any help, and please ask me for any clarification

I have the pro version of AirTables and would like to be able to completely lock a table so no one can add or remove any information. I’ve changed both the table permissions and the view permissions, but I can still add information to the cells in the table as well as add fields.
Hi - I am trying to move from Smartsheet to Airtable, but have a specific way we track phases of some of our jobs. Attached is a screenshot of our current Smartsheet that allows for a customer line with all of the associated phases to be beneath and associated with the parent row - and the dollar amounts roll up. We track each phase as individual “jobs” beneath the summary job and the ability to “collapse” on Smartsheet limits a gigantic sheet. I realize the structure of Airtable is different and most likely is not able to re-create what I have, but I do need to be able to have the same basic idea and not sure where to start. Thanks for any input offered!
Hello! I was wondering if I was to give someone read only access if they are then able to duplicate the workspace for their own use. (please note this is what I want them to do). Thanks Kristy
What determines the 3 fields in the screenshot (Product Title, SKU (Supplier), Supplier UPC) per record to show below? Initially thought the fields reflected follows the order of the fields/columns in the View that’s being searched, but that’s not it. Thoughts?
I am designing a new base for tracking client accounts. We currently have approximately 12 clients, but are looking to expand our services in the next year. Each client has 1-5 accounts with up to 5 sub accounts. The accounts are prepaid and I want to ensure we don’t go over budget. The expenses are divided into direct expenses (paid by us) and reimbursed expenses (that we will issue payment for). I would also like to submit the expense information using a form and then approve the expenses monthly. I want to create the following views: Break down of client accounts and sub accounts with the detailed expenses Summary of client accounts and sub accounts that only shows remaining balance Reimbursed expenses each month Direct expenses each month I would appreciate thoughts on how to cleanly design this base. Thank you.
Hi everyone, I have a base where I have a list of invoices which have a date an an amount. I need to know the average earnings for each working day of the month the invoice is billed. To do so, I wanted to calculate the number of working days for each month of the invoices. I saw that there’s the WORKINGDAY DIFF formula, but to make it works I’ll need the first and last day of each invoice, as the screenshot below: Here, for example, I entered manually the 1st and last, but is there a way to automate this? With my manually entered 1st and last date of the month, I calculated the working days for the month. Then, I created a formula which calculate the average amount billed each day from the amount of the bill (Formula is: Amount of the bill divided by the # of working days in the month). Finally, I sum all the bills of the month to know the average amount billed by day for the whole month. See my screenshot below: I don’t really know if I’m heading in the right direction for that and
Is there a way for me to use images for each location for the map pins when using the map block?
