I joined a team that's been using Airtable for a few years and noticed there's a view that was created by someone who's now retired. Is there a way to tell who's using a view so we can determine if it's okay to delete it?
I am building a product using softr and airtable. On Softr, I have a list item that has a button which will capture the name of the user who clicked on the button. I want to capture the names of the users who click the button, all in one cell of the airtable against the item record. I have set the column type as multi select. I am unable to get it one as the cell is overwriting or deleting the existing data in that cell. is it possible to show multiple tokens in one cell against the respective record only.
Hi all, I am using Fillout Form integrated with Airtable. I have two tables in one airtable base. One table lists all the eligible emails that can login and fill out the form. The second table is where the form submissions land. I would like to be able to tell who has actually submitted a form from the "Eligible email table". Essentially I would like to automatically "read" the "modified time" column found in the "Submission Form Table" within the "Eligible email Table" when the emails in the columns match. From what I understand formulas in airtable cannot talk to each other across tables? And the lookup function doesn't have a way connect that the emails match? Am I missing something? I have tried this formula but nothing is appearing in the box and I'm not sure why: IF({FORM EMAIL (from 2025 Form Submissions)} = {Eligible Email}, "Submitted")
I am creating my first form. I am trying to test it, so I open an incognito tab and use a different email address to try to fill out the form. It goes like thisEnter URL"You're almost there... Please enter your email address to fill out this form"I enter a different email address, not associated with my airtable account. Click "continue""Create your free account" -> prompts me to enter my "work email" and click continueANOTHER "Create your free account" page, this one prompts me to enter full name and a password. At this point I give up. There is a progress bar on the bottom that implies there are several steps to creating an account. I just need people to be able to fill out my form quickly.I need the ability to have respondents fill out a form without having to jump through all these hoops and create an airtable account. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this just how the forms work? And if this is how the forms work, is there a third party form I could use instead that won't requ
Hi all - has anyone been able to bring a base back UNDER limit after going over? I’ve deleted over 10k records and emptied the trash without luck. So basically - we hit 50k records… got the “over limit” message. I went in and cleaned up some stuff - still “over limit”.
Hello, Our records number has exceeded the 1200 limit however we then deleted several hundred records but the records number doesn’t appear to have reduced and the account is still warning we are over the limit. Can anyone shed more light on this or ideally how to resolve it? We deleted the records and then emptied the trash but it hasn’t changed. Many thanks in advance
I’ve searched high and low and can’t seem to find a really easy to use template that allows shift scheduling in an easy to use, drag and drop way like Sling or When I Work. I really don’t want to throw another app at my staff (I’m getting them used to AT as it is), and it would be nice to work within the AT ecosystem so I can use my existing staff info tables. Anyone have something useful? The ones in the existing universe are…not friendly.
Hello I started exploring using Airtable native AI fields; I would like LLM to read and process an attachment documentin PDF but the relevant field {Attachment} seems not to be available in the prompt design. Is it possible in some ways or do I need to resort to using OpenAI APIs and scripting? Regards and Thanks !
I know airtable doesn't have the ability to do this, but I wonder if anyone here has a clever solution.For context, we're a non-profit vege farm. A few of the things we keep records on need many records created at the same time. For example, when I seed trays of 15 different crops in the nursery, or I sow a cover crop into a bed (sometimes 10+ species). Each crop in either of those instances has unique data stored against it - Date, quantity, etc.We need to be able to do this on mobile, as we're in the field, and unfortunately the table view of airtable isn't very easy to do this on mobile. And unfortunately having to submit a form 15 different times is confusing and time consuming. The ideal solution would be a form that could collect all data against each instance, but airtable doesn't allow that.Does anyone have any ideas to help with this workflow? I have seen on2air, but unfortunately as a non-profit, spending more and more $ on record collection is really real
Hello, I’m trying to put automatically as primary field the name of the forms where the data came from but I can’t find a way to allow that, even if with formula. Someone have an idea how to that? Here data from my table: Table name: Table1 Compose by these views: Grid view Order form Incident form Purchase form Ask money back form I want to display the name of each form on the “Grid view” as primary field. Is that possible to allow it without to ask the user to field this name on the form?
Hi! I'm looking for an alternate way to display records that are grouped by a "multiple select" field. As an example, I have records of food items and am grouping by the Food Type field with tags Fruits, Veggies, Carbs, Berries, etc. Some records, such as Cherry will be tagged both "Fruits" and "Berries." As it displays now, Cherry will be grouped in its own area of both Fruits and Berries rather than showing up in the individual Fruits group and the Berries group. I realize that having Cherry show up in both groups would mean the single record is displayed twice, so perhaps there's an alternate way of grouping records where the group will show all records with a given tag? I'd love to come up with a solution for this, because it gets pretty cumbersome to sift through many annoying "groups" where multiple tags are used. I just want to see ALL the records with that tag, regardless of any other tags those records may have!
Hello, hope you are all doing well. Need some help giving points to each participant per race result, would like to create a field on the same table with a formula that does that automatically. The point system is basically the reverse order of the number of participants, ea: 1st place gets the total number of participants in points, the 2nd place gets one less, and so on, with last place getting 1 pointHere is the condition, only the "Pos" with numbers will get assign the points. Positions that have a DNF or DNS will get just 1 pointHere is the table: Any help will be grateful, my brain is toast for the night, trying all kinds of ways.This might be super simple for someone out there 😆Thank you!
I am considering linking back to a specific cell in Airtable. I can copy a link to the cell by right-clicking on it and selecting 'Copy cell URL.' However, this opens Airtable in a browser. I want it to open in Airtable's desktop app for Mac. Please suggest how to do this.
I have both the Teams Plan and the Business Plan. Very often I found that Teams Plan is sluggish and unresponsive at certain times of the day. But I don't get that in the Business Plan. Do you also experience the same? Granted, that the Business Plan is 2x the price...
I want to use a form to allow volunteers to register for upcoming events. Each volunteer can select multiple events. Volunteers may also return to fill out the form more than once, as many of them will return for future events. The volunteers will just be members of the general public, not Airtable users.Is it possible to set up my tables and form to ensure the following conditions are met?1. Each volunteer is listed in the Volunteers form once, with a unique email address and phone number for each volunteer.2. Volunteers select one or more upcoming events from a list of upcoming events.3. Volunteers who return to fill out the form more than once can select other events, but the name and contact information they enter is not duplicated in a new record. Only the new events they sign up for are added to the record that already exists for them.
Hi all! Looking to figure out a way to hide certain options in a Single-Select Field for a form. I run trainings throughout the globe and it’s all tracked via AirTable. The list of training dates is getting rather long, and I would like to shorten that list to available dates for users filling out the form. The only way I can figure to do this is move any trainings older than 30 days to another tab, but that is rather cumbersome to have data points in two locations. Any thoughts on how to best solve this problem?
Hi! How are you? I’m new, and I’m having trouble with the average. I want to calculate the average of ao column that will ever grow (each day I’ll add new numbers). But when I create a new column to calculate it, it just repeat the numbers, instead of calculating the average number. I need a field with the Average, to link this field to Dasheroo (and I’ll do that with other fields, to, like the highest rated item in the database). How can I do that? Thanks
Hello I need to build a form where users create a 'Deals' table record. The description of the form should contain dates that come from a record in another table: 'Cohort'. It seems that Fillout pre-fetch is exactly what I need, but it is only available for 79$/mo which seems too much for this form only (and mini-extensions likewise). Is there any another solution? Does scripting have anything to do with Forms? Many Thanks
Hi I am building a freelancing platform matching freelancers with projects. In my 2 tabs “Freelancer” & “Project” I have some common criteria as lists : Country, Expertise, Language, ect… How can I do to have this common lists always up to date & use them to create algorithm / automations without creating a table for each criteria / lists ? Hi all, I have a csv file with a column that contains the name of the project associated with the client. So I have a csv file with 2 columns: customer email, project name. I have to import this file into the customer table on Airtable where the “merge field” is the email and the project name must be inserted in a multiselect field. The problem is that many customers already have projects in their multiselect field and doing this import is all overwritten and only the last imported project remains. So the question is how is it possible to import (add) new values in “multiselect field” without overwriting the already existing values? Thanks so much everyone for the help

Trying to create a form I click “add a field to this table” I see under “Single line text” (type of field the words “A single line of text. You can optionally prefill each new cell with a default value.” see attached that’s what I want to do but can’t figure out how to actually do that? TIA for any ideas here…
Our team uses airtable to track orders and get through a large list of records each day. I have a view setup that removes a record when a box is checked (completed) so we only see what's left to work on. Our records are grouped by client and some clients have multiple records. Due to the filter, as you click the checkbox on 1 record it disappears from the list which only allows you to click one at a time. Any solution you could think of to select all the records in one grouping and bulk edit them to "checked"?
I have 1 large airtable with jobs that I sync to airtable bases of clients in the same workspace.Now they should not be able to edit these jobs, so that's perfect.However, within that tab I want them to be able to add other jobs they might have, only for their use. How can I do this? I cannot see any way of doing this, and I don't want it to be a two-way sync, as those jobs should only visible for them. Ideally in the same tab as the other non-editable jobs. Is there a workaround?In some other tab they can link jobs to applicants with a linked record. I want that to still be the same job tab, otherwise It would not work well (if I have them make jobs in a different job tab)...Any workaround or creative wizardry?
