Hi! Excited about the ability to use forms in Interface. I have a question about single select fields in Interface Forms. Currently, if you type in a new option in the single select column in the Airtable base and that option currently doesn’t exist, you can add it to the single select column by pressing enter (after you’re typed up the new option). I am not able to add new options to a single select field in my Airtable Interface form. Am I missing something or has someone found a solution for this? Thanks all!

I’m trying to design an easy-to-enter table or form where people can enter bookings very quickly. The issue is with choosing a date, a start time and an end time. In other software I’ve used - you can tap a 'Start time" field - quickly type 10 or 1030, or 10:30, or 7 or 730 or 0730 or 07:30 and the software sorts out the formatting. (This is 24hr format by the way) I’ve been trying to get something similar in Airtable and got halfway there with DateTimeParse - but it has been choking on 3-digit times (eg 730 for 7:30am). I’ve even done a formula including an IF statement to check the length of the input and try a different format. But frankly these all seem like massive cludges to fix a basic lack in Airtable - either a Time-only field type, or Input Masking - or input format forcing. I should be able to easily choose the correct format for a field and if someone enters a time incorrectly it will pop up a message to direct them to use the correct format

I need to create form with header and stylings for text and submit button of form is it possible? I wanted to change color of button and font of the text so that i can embed the form using iframe in html pages. tried to custom css in my html pages it doesn’t reflecting the styling changes of the html content generated in iframe of main html pages.

Hi guys, I created a simple CRM for a client on Airtable. The page for All Contacts have filters. My client would like to be able to set filters on this All Contacts page and then, from the interface, send an email to the subset of contacts she just had displayed (see screenshot below).  The solutions I have in mind don't completely meet her need:Setting automations to have emails sent to different groups of people doesn't solve her problem since she wants to be able to send emails spontaneously. So there's no event in the database that could serve as a trigger for possible automations.She could of course export the list of contacts into a CSV, then copy and paste the email addresses into her email provider interface. Hello all, I’m trying to figure out a way to randomly generate a 6 digit randomized number for confirmation use on future bookings. So far I’ve come up with using ‘Autonumber’ and a formula to add six 0’s as a prefix. However, I’d like the number to be completely random. Does anyone have any input on how to achieve this or if it’s possible on Airtable? Thank you! Alex

Hello All,I have been implementing new Form Interfaces for our candidates to fill out and I noticed that the banners and images have been getting removed; initially I thought it was because I duplicated the Form (which auto-removes the images), but when I checked on them a week later, all the images and banners were gone!Has anyone else experienced this issue? For clarity, I published and distributed 2 Form Interfaces, which I spot-checked and tested before and AFTER they were sent out to everyone. I can add screenshots if requested, but there's nothing really to show aside from the images.

Based on an earlier post on connecting airtable data to Power BI, some folks, including me, have problems reading Airtable fields/columns that have blank/missing values for some records. Based on an note from a user in the early post, I am able to revise the Airtable M Query code from the Airtable support site (https://support.airtable.com/docs/visualizing-airtable-records-in-microsoft-power-bi-power-query). I added the "List_fields"= line near the end of the query. Now the new M Query can read in all columns / fields of an Airtable table even if they have blank/missing values.Here is the revised M Query. Hi guys ! I work in a Shopify ecommerce and we are in the process of integrating Airtable into our environment. We have started to synchronize our data (Products, orders, customers, etc …) in Airtable using the AirPower app. Airtable seemed like the perfect platform until the data limit was exceeded (50,000 for the pro plan). We looked at the business plan but the 100,000 data limit seems very low. We have 63,000 customers right now so we should hit the limit sooner or later. We want to have the orders table linked with the customers table. Do you have a solution so that we can store all our data? Thank you in advance !

Require some help on moving/changing data between Airtable and Shopify, using integromat. Reason? We have items where stock is managed in Airtable and Shopify. Shopify is used for items sold online, the Airtable system for items associated with jobs within the business (the items are automotive parts, so we sell some, and use some internally). The reason the items are managed on Airtable is for integration with other data/information requirements. Stock is managed in Airtable by having 1x table that is a list of items, and one times table where a stock adjustment record is added. Example, Item A exists in the list table. On the stock adjustment table, if stock is removed, a line is added that links to that item, with ‘1’ added to a Stock Out field, likewise for stock in. We're a publishing company and we keep track of content that we publish over the course of the year with these different columns showing publish dates. I'd like to do 2 things:Create 1 column that combines the dates (combining them so that they remain separate would be ideal, but otherwise, it could just be text formatted like this "MM/DD/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY").Then I'd like to have another column that shows the oldest date and a column that shows the most recent date.Another column that just adds the number of times the content has been published, so counts the number of fields with a date in them.The error you see currently in the far right field had the formula that I tried on my own which was:DATETIME_FORMAT({Publish Date 1}, 'MM/DD/YYYY') & "," & DA

how could i use zapier sync the Unsubscribes that can remove the record from Airtable?

Trying to connect Airtable to MailChimp using Zapier but keep experiencing errors that no email address is found. Goal is to enter contacts for local business owners in Airtable and also have them automatically added to our email list. Anyone having good luck using Zapier to update a MailChimp list who might tell me what I’m missing? It appears that when we enter a name of a person in Airtable it’s creating a record, which triggers our zap in Zapier. Well, if the email is not the first thing we enter it seems like it’s too late, the zap is already triggered and the email is not sent to Mailchimp. So my question is how to make a record create zap work where it’s not so quick to send the data that some of the data isn’t there yet.

Is there any way to create a view with specific fields in Airtable, and sync it with Asana so that when a record is added to that Airtable view, a new task will be created in Asana, including those specific fiels from Airtable? I know a premium Asana subscription is necessary to add custom fields to the tasks. But does anyone know a way to sync these fields between both apps? Thanks.

I have an interface with a dashboard with two pivot tables tracking budgets.I have a dashboard page set to allow printing; however, every time I print, one of the two pivot tables are cut off although they both fit on the page, and there is no horizontal scroll needed. I've tried to expand the table and print them one by one, but then the same cut-off still happens.This is how the pivot tables look on my screen only - only 5 columns to print: This is how it looks on an A4 page - where the two last columns are cut off:Does anyone know how to get these two pivot tables to actually print out so the printout is usable, or is it a bug?

I am trying to integrate airtable to make.com to do outbound calling to vapi. I'm having an error message / not getting a connection option. In make.com to Airtable connecting my airtable OAuth connection is empty error message is showing - the base error value must not be empty.

I have a base and a Main View for Selection. I enter the main view and select a few things.   The go to the view selected items.the latest selection don't show up and they are not just out of order etc.  Going back into the Main View for Selection and then going back to the View Selected Items now shows the selected items.Why do I need to go back and forward to see the selected items.The filed is a tick box in the form which works OK but the view selected only updated on the second enter.Thanks for your help,Peter Wallis

I'm not sure how to replicate this using the slack actionable messages. There seems to be a token for 'user that took action' but I can't get it to populate either a user field or a text field with anyhting

Hi there,I'm trying to build automations for updated a multiple select field. The records in my table all have a "last updated date" field, which obviously changes every time a record is updated. There are two scenarios I am trying to solve for:1. When it has been over 12 months since the last update, I would like to add a tag in a multiple select column for "Last updated >12 months". I have figured this out using these instructions. 2. The next scenario I'm trying to solve for is when a record whose last updated date was >12 months ago (and is tagged "Last updated >12 months" is updated, therefore changing the "last updated date" field, and wanting to remove the "Last updated >12 months" tag from the multiple select field. How do I accomplish #2 with an automation? I can't
