Im using the Maps extension and have that working properly. All my records plot nicely. The map marker pin/icon is somewhat adjustable in color, size, etc.Can I have the maker display a record number, instead of just a generic colored pin?I know that I can hover/click on the pin for data. But Id like to print the entire map on a plotter, and be able to identify each pin, from that static print. So, instead of just a colored pin, id like the field number to show as the pin on the map.

Hi Airtable Community!I've been tasked with creating a CRM for Events invites and attendance tracking and would love any input on best ways to proceed. So far I have a "Contacts" table and an "Events" table, which are linked based on who got an invite to what event. The problem is, for certain events, we also want to track who RSVP'd and who attended the event on a contact by contact basis so we can reach out, follow-up after, etc. We ideally want to keep the base as clean as possible. I see two potential avenues (and am leaning towards the first) but would love other ideas that might be more straightforward/simple for those who aren't familiar with Airtable to navigate.create a new table solely to track RSVPs and attendance. This table would pull in the contact and the specific event they are attending so that every record is "Contact - Event" and tag accordingly with their RSVP status. Views for each event can then be created to summarize attendance.

How do I use sum values automatically calculated when grouping fields for other formulas?I have to calculate the sum of values of a grouped field in other formulas. I am working on a database with info taken from an old access database. There are five Tables.Every one of them has a number assocated with a record along with a name or description. ExampleContacts: Contact ID, First Name, Last NameCollege: College ID, College NameProducts: Product ID, DescriptionOn the Contacts table I created a new forumula field that joins the Contact ID, First and Last Names to make Field "Name | Contact ID"This method was followed for the other tables.When I want to link the contact to the college on the Contacts Table, I have the original College ID field (that came from Access) but I want to link the "College ID | School Name". So, I can see the original College ID and I have to type for what / search for the number and automatically have it populate with the correct school I want to write a script or something or an automation that looks that the data in the College ID column and goes

I want to build an automation in Airtable where the user creating the record, will have their domain auto-populated based on the separate table in which each person has their own domain defined.For example, if John is creating the record and the John domain is IT defined in a separate table, when the record is created from John, the domain field is auto-populated.  

For some reason a number field is not showing up in the Interface's filter options.This happens specifically if you choose a layout with a specific widget (I'm using timeline in this case).If you choose a blank layout though, the number field IS available in the filter!What's with the inconsistency? Why would a different layout have different functionality for the same feature?I guess the alternative would be to just use a timeline in a blank page, but I don't want to that. I prefer the feel and options when you pick the timeline layout directly.

Dear community, Does someone know how color a field by level of progress? For example, all tasks under 30% of completion in red, tasks between 30-60% in yellow, tasks between 60-90% in blue and tasks between 90%-100% in green? Hi, I'm using Create Record API, my requirement is sending a image to a field in table. But the API requires to send an image URL instead. Would anyone know if there is a hosting service that can return the image URL while ensure the image uploaded is not being public? Or would Airtable team have plan to provide such a service? Thanks!

Finally have gotten fairly complete on a prototype base design for tracking training records for our company (construction industry) and while I have a decent interface setup for showcasing what we could potentially do, I am wondering if sticking with airtable native or moving to one of the 3rd party form and/or front-end platforms (fillout, noloco, softr, jotform, etc) is the right approach (costs being a consideration as well).The general use case is a base with a couple of tables used to track employees, what training they have taken (CPR/1st aid, scaffold, trench excavation, fall protection, etc) and which of those are active, expired, or expiring soon. Hi,For some time now, the unlink button on a card shows as a mere white dot when hovering over the item. Only when you hover over the button itself does it show the proper dark background / white 'X'.This makes it hard for users who aren't very familiar with Airtable to work with our interfaces.

I have a table of all USPS zip codes and their respective cites and states. It has over 33,000 records. I would like to be able to use it in another base without having to copy it into the other base which causes it to go over its record limit.Is there a way to do this?Thanks, Scott

Issue: I am trying to have a "Number" field to get updated with values starting from 1, 2, 3, etc based on the position of the task in the chain. I am seeing the numbers are coming off: like 3,3,3,3, for a lot of tasks in the same chain despite there being a hierarchy. And yes there are no circular references for that chain or any branching etc.Script Description: The script aims to update records in the "Tasks" table of my Airtable base. We cannot select anything in date fields nor single-select fields. Selection in link fields are fine. The forms are not restricted to the company's domain. They are password protected. Users use the forms on Safari app on iPads.I can fill and submit the forms without problem on a computer under my account. I assume that the problem occurs throughout 2 pm--5am UTC, but this is a guess.

Not sure if this belongs in automations or airtable.I want to create an automation which creates a new entry in a separate spreadsheet which is being used to track spend for inventory in my business.Ideally it creates a new entry, one for each week.When a new item is added to the main buying spreadsheet, the cost of that is taken by the automation and added onto the spend for that week. Even better if it can take it away from the spend if a refund/return is taking place.Is this possible? Sounds quite simple.
