Hi,I hope you can help me, I've searched everywhere and I can't find an answer to my problem.I work for a training organization. I have a table with students. A table with training session dates. And a table with speakers.In the dates table, I make a link with the speakers (each speaker can participate on one or more dates)In the students table, I want to get the names of the speakers of each session, but in a deduplicated way (I want to use these names to print a certificate)But no matter what I do, I can't remove the duplicates in the names of the speakers.Airtable considers that the 2 or 3 speakers on that each training session date are different arrays.I tried the « arrayflatten » and « arrayjoin » fonctions (and a combination of these) but nothing works.Do you have any idea to ge me solve this ?Thanks in advance

I'm working on an automation that is triggered when a record is created.Here's how it works:I have a Fillout academy registration form with the action create a record on Airtable in the Sourcing table;When the user submits the form, a record is created in the Sourcing table and triggers the automation to perform the following actions:- Retrieve and check if the selected course exists;- Check whether a learner or candidate already exists, using the email address as the unique field in the Learner table;- If the candidate exists, we check if he/she has an existing sourcing, taking the existing candidate and the training course as parameters;- If the sourcing doesn't exist, I proceed with the relationship between the existing candidate and the course (thus updating the newly created sourcing by attaching the existing candidate);- If the candidate does not exist, I crea

Hey guys, Really new to Airtable and not an excel expert either. I have been trying to create a Master Catalog / Master SKU table which contains fields like SKU variations, Amazon ASIN, Category, sub-categories, landed costs etc. I have also assigned a Master SKU code as the Primary and this may overlap for some SKU variations. I want to create another table where I can import the Sales data in excel format, which carries the Amazon ASINs (not all of them populated in the Master SKU) and Units Sold. The excel may also contain other data that is not relevant to this exercise. Similarly, I would like to create more tables to upload sales data from other marketplaces (each has their unique marketplace product ids) as well. How do i get Airtable to recognise these ASINs (or other unique marketplace ids) & match them with the Master so that I can link the records ? Or do i have to key in each line of Sales Data as a New record in a New table a

I developed a table that looks up records from other tables in a base. My colleagues all say that they have never touched this table, yet revision history of multiple records in the Linked column say that they were "edited by pasting." I have searched AirTable FAQ and can't find that phrase anywhere. Has anyone else seen that with Linked & Lookup fields? Perhaps my colleagues just don't remember that they did this? When I add a new record and see it show up in the Linked table, it just shows that I edited it, not "by pasting."

I have a table that was transferred to me over a year ago and now I am the owner. I recently upgraded to the Team plan. I can input data into the template but now matter how I change my field permissions, when I try to delete a row is says: "this table is configured so nobody can delete records". How do I change this? If I am the owner shouldn't I be able to change this. Thank you for your help!

Hi! I want to be able to use something like the Forms feature to add multiple records in one go for non-licensed viewers, but the forms feature is limited to one record at a time and the editable shared view does not support copy and paste. For example: I have a Project name record I want to add (view #1) x number of tasks records linked to the project name (view #2) and x number of project collaborators records linked to the project name (view #3). Rather than submitting the form multiple times to add: Project name Task 1 description + link to project name Task 2 description + link to project name … etc Project collaborator 1 name + link to project name Project collaborator 2 name + link to project name … etc I want to be able to add this in one form. Is there something wrong with Airtable today? Three of my customers reached out saying their Airtable automations stopped working. All issues needed to set another new personal access token. Aren't these supposed to not expire? If they expire, this is hugely problematic. This code needs to work reliably or Airtable can't reasonably be used for these integrations. I have to reach out to dozens of accounts now to see if their integrations are still working.

Hello. I have a form on my photo studio website that’s connected to a base where I collect and manage client data and bookings. When someone fills out the form an email is generated and sent to me via Airtable with the subject line… “Airtable forms: someone has responded to Photo/Film Booking Request” I’d like to change the subject to something shorter and more relevant like, “Your 08.02.18 Photo/Film Booking Request at (Studio Name)”. This way I can simply reply back to the person with a short, relevant email subject line with the original request email as the first message. Is changing the subject line possible in Airtable or do I need to use Zapier or some other integration? I noticed the SendGrid block, but have not had time to play with that. Thanks!! ~ G

I have many columns that use multiple select fields. However, there are times that they need an option called “Other” and the ability to type in a new option. This option should not be saved into the list of options. I can add another column and let them type in the option there, but since there are so many of these the table is getting quite bulky. Is there a way to have a custom field where you can display an option in multiple select but not add it into the list of options? Or is there another way to accomplish this? Thank you,

Hello! I work for an event facility and we are trying to automate our calendar with a submission form. The idea is that when a new form is submitted with an event name, date and time that it will be automatically added to Google calendar. With the current automation, it syncs the date with google calendar, but defaults to 12pm for the time for everything submitted. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to make this work? Thanks! Jamie

The community's help is really needed. I need to figure out access to certain rows in the database.Scenario: Each row of the table has a "USER" field. In it I select users who have access to the table (screenshot #1). I want to make it so that "USER" see only those rows in which they are selected and can edit these rows. All other rows where they are not selected in the "USER" column, they either cannot edit or cannot see (it’s better if they don’t see it, but it’s not critical).  

Hi all, please help put me out of my misery. I have a database to organise film shoots. I have three tables: scenes, dates and kit Each entry in the scenes table links to an entry in the dates table (the date we’ll shoot that scene), and may or may not link to a number of items in the kit table, indicating whether that scene requires specialist kit (cranes, drones etc). I am trying to make a field in the dates table that summarises what kit is required for that day. When I make this a rollup pointed at the scenes table, kit field, it pulls through all the entries correctly but obviously as there can be many scenes scheduled for a particular day, each of which might require the same bits of kit, I get a lot of duplicates. No matter what combination of ARRAYUNIQUE, ARRAYFLATTEN, ARRAYCOMPACT etc etc I try I can’t get the rollup to show only unique items. To be clear what I’m after is that if a particular date has four scenes and two req

New to Airtable and had the webinar getting started with Airtable. However, my work will be to read and write data from a 3rd party app. Generally data will be pushed and pulled from the 3rd party app/website.The method to push and pull the data will be similar to the CURL examples in the docs. Seems straight forward.OverallMy general question: any suggestions or insight for best practice, etc. DetailTo get specific, I have created a couple Bases in my account as well as a Personal Key. Looking at the API call to List Records I need the BaseID. Looking in my account I don't see this info attached to the Base. My assumption then, I'll need to use List Bases to be able to List Records on a specific Base. Will I need to use this process every time? Storing this info into a local table on the 3rd party app is an option. So is it possible the IDs might change during the life of the base/table/record?

I use Airtable for my small property management business. I have to send a list of customers and some data about them to my insurance agent every year as part of the renewal process for my liability insurance. Insurance companies do not want electronic views of databases. They want hard copies. Paper. To do this, it appears that I have to spend a considerable amount of money to use another application to get my data out of Airtable.Is there a way to print a view or an Interface, or send a pdf of the info, or an email that can be printed? If not, then Airtable has become of no value to me. I need to communicate the way my vendors do. A cannot bend to them to using systems they do not want. I am a very small company. They are very large.If there is away, would someone please let me know how to go about it?Many thanks, Scott

Hey All - hoping someone might be able to help me out here.  Using the list view in Interfaces and three dropdown options, I give my users the ability to generate and view custom reports. I'm trying to find a way to allow them to download/save/export these reports as a PDF or even Google Sheet - and hopefully save the list layout. Here are the issues I'm running into: 1. There is no ability to add a button to the list view (Likely will not be able to work around this)2. I've tried using the page builder extension but it will not allow me to include lookup fields in the data - which is how I'm building the list in the first place. 3. I can't seem to find any other way to pass the filter information through to the automation with a button. In full-page Grid/Kanban/List views there is no option to add a button, and the Grid/Kanban/List elements can't be used as a button source in non-full-page views.

Hi everyone, I am new to the Airtable and I'm excited to be part of this community. May I apologise in advance if I don't use the correct technical terminology.  I design surveys, impact assessments and evaluation tools for a criminal justice charity. I have created a survey using 'Forms' and in one section I have 10 questions that require word responses. For example one of my questions is 'When I am confronted with a problem i can usually find a solution'The multiple choice response can be 'Not at all true' [=1]. Barely true [=2]. Moderately True [=3]. Exactly True [=4]I need to create a formula for a separate column that will tally up all the numerical values and give me the overall score. Any advice on how I write this formula will be greatly appreciated. Cheers Justin    

I want to have the top filter dropdowns be dependent of each other for the list view. For example, if I select Program A, I should only see the projects that fall under Program A... not all the projects available for any programs. 

I've made a Record Template that creates multiple records. I want to write a script that runs this a bunch of times and fills in some of the fields based on a form submission. I can't find any way to access and run a record template from a script. Any help or other ideas would be greatly appreciated. If I can't figure this out I guess I'll just script the whole process and skip using the record template but I'm not proficient in scripting yet so I'll need to learn a lot to do this.

I am sending an email automation with a grid of records included in the body of the email. The grid of records includes the time zone UTC in the field. I dont want this included.I have included the formatting settings of the start and end date fieldsIs there anyway to turn this off? Thanks!

I currently have a formula running for # of weeks someone has been enrolled in the program.  Is there a way to have a Kanban view with 52 columns (1 for each week of the year) and have the clients auto populate in those columns based on # of weeks enrolled?
