https://api.airtable.com/v0/meta/bases/myBaseIDhere/tables A particular base is very large. I only need table IDs and Names for this call. The JSON returned is HUGE and seems to an issue on my end. How do I get only this limited data with this call?Note: I am new to Airtable but there is so much data I don't need from a Table.  Thanks, ScottIDS

I use Airtable for my small property management business. I have to send a list of customers and some data about them to my insurance agent every year as part of the renewal process for my liability insurance. Insurance companies do not want electronic views of databases. They want hard copies. Paper. To do this, it appears that I have to spend a considerable amount of money to use another application to get my data out of Airtable.Is there a way to print a view or an Interface, or send a pdf of the info, or an email that can be printed? If not, then Airtable has become of no value to me. I need to communicate the way my vendors do. A cannot bend to them to using systems they do not want. I am a very small company. They are very large.If there is away, would someone please let me know how to go about it?Many thanks, Scott

Hey All - hoping someone might be able to help me out here.  Using the list view in Interfaces and three dropdown options, I give my users the ability to generate and view custom reports. I'm trying to find a way to allow them to download/save/export these reports as a PDF or even Google Sheet - and hopefully save the list layout. Here are the issues I'm running into: 1. There is no ability to add a button to the list view (Likely will not be able to work around this)2. I've tried using the page builder extension but it will not allow me to include lookup fields in the data - which is how I'm building the list in the first place. 3. I can't seem to find any other way to pass the filter information through to the automation with a button. In full-page Grid/Kanban/List views there is no option to add a button, and the Grid/Kanban/List elements can't be used as a button source in non-full-page views.

Hi everyone, I am new to the Airtable and I'm excited to be part of this community. May I apologise in advance if I don't use the correct technical terminology.  I design surveys, impact assessments and evaluation tools for a criminal justice charity. I have created a survey using 'Forms' and in one section I have 10 questions that require word responses. For example one of my questions is 'When I am confronted with a problem i can usually find a solution'The multiple choice response can be 'Not at all true' [=1]. Barely true [=2]. Moderately True [=3]. Exactly True [=4]I need to create a formula for a separate column that will tally up all the numerical values and give me the overall score. Any advice on how I write this formula will be greatly appreciated. Cheers Justin    

I want to have the top filter dropdowns be dependent of each other for the list view. For example, if I select Program A, I should only see the projects that fall under Program A... not all the projects available for any programs. 

I've made a Record Template that creates multiple records. I want to write a script that runs this a bunch of times and fills in some of the fields based on a form submission. I can't find any way to access and run a record template from a script. Any help or other ideas would be greatly appreciated. If I can't figure this out I guess I'll just script the whole process and skip using the record template but I'm not proficient in scripting yet so I'll need to learn a lot to do this.

I am sending an email automation with a grid of records included in the body of the email. The grid of records includes the time zone UTC in the field. I dont want this included.I have included the formatting settings of the start and end date fieldsIs there anyway to turn this off? Thanks!

I currently have a formula running for # of weeks someone has been enrolled in the program.  Is there a way to have a Kanban view with 52 columns (1 for each week of the year) and have the clients auto populate in those columns based on # of weeks enrolled?

Hi! I have data coming in from a webhook to Make. I am trying to create a formula in Make to search Airtable for number of times an email appears in a field on a table and limit the number of submissions to Airtable. For example, I want to limit the rows to 5 for this user based on email. When the user submits data via the webhook, I want Make to do a search on Airtable and count the number of time the email appears in the table, if email appears less than 5, allow data to be submitted. If more than 5, give an error or prevent data submission. Here is the formula I used. 8.FIELD__KPZIT488X is the value from the webhook for email."{{8.FIELD__KPZIT488X}}"={Email}I have tried to do this with forms, but no luck. Trying to see if it can be done with formulas on the backend.

Hello,I am building a Scheduling tool for my company and a feature we do for our clients is "Scheduling Optimization", where we map out their schedules and look for ways to cut down on headcount, merge shifts, etc.I was hoping to use the Timeline View to display the schedules with both date and time taken into consideration, but despite the "Day" view having an hourly breakdown, it still displays each shift as an "All Day" event: I am aware that the Calendar View does this properly, but the problem is the orientation; I'm often working with events that are 100+ staff per day, so the Calendar View is somewhat unusable:The Daily Calendar view is a little better, but I need to see these records from a weekly view in order to properly assess possibl

Hello, I am setting a legal case tracking base and I am trying to do something where:1: When I input the date of incident, it automatically calculates two years from that date2: I would like to have a table that also has a countdown until we reach the Statute of Limitations. Ideally, it would look something like: Date of Incident (03-11-24), Statute of Limitations (03-11-2026), Days remaining: 365I attempted the Datetime_Diff between the two, but it just gives me the number of days between the Date of injury and SOL, so I think I can omit the Date of Injury and just have a running countdown so that every day when I log in, the day is one less remaining in the column that is counting down. 

Is there a way to append data in a field? Let's say I have a long text field called "Campaigns" which will contain the different campaigns that a customer have agreed to through our emails. Is there a way to preserve the previous text and basically add the new text to the field?

Dear Community,I hope someone can help me with the following issue...I have an automation sending out an email for a record ("shipment" table) with attachments. The attachment(s) come by lookup from my "inventory" table. Now, as some inventory items may have the same attachment (eg. an invoice covering several inventory items/lines) I consequently get several same attachments pulled to the "shipment". How can I tell airtable or my automation to ignore files with same filename when sending out email for a record ("shipment" table) with attachments. It's hard to explain, but I hope someone will see my issue. 🙂 Kai 

Would it be possible to activate an automation in Airtable (send a form), with a trigger in Figma?Every time someone gets tagged in Figma, the form should be send to the tagged person. 

I want to create a "sheet" timetable that creates new dates using a formula based on one date that is inputted. I know there's probably a better way to say that so please disregard my ignorance. Here's what I want to happen...I input the "Class Start" date and all other dates are created using formulas. Here is our current sheet.Is this possible in airtable? Afternoon, all,I have an automation which fills in a select field based on a linked field's id.If the item doesn't exist in the select field already, it automatically creates a new item in the field.However, every time the new item is created by the automation it's blue. Every new item is always blue.Is this a bug? Hi everyone,I'm sure you've all heard about Air.AI or have seen a video discussing it.I'm currently attempting to work with Air.AI, but I've hit a roadblock, where I have to interact with my agent. Whenever I try to communicate with my agent, the webpage prompts me to upgrade my Twilio account from the free trial. Air's tech support mentioned that I can use any plan other than the free trial. However, my budget is extremely limited, around $100 per month, and I'm not familiar with Twilio's pricing. Which Twilio plan would be the most affordable while still being usable for Air.AI cold calling? Ideally, I'd like to allocate $1 per day for Air.AI, which totals to $30 per month.Which Twilio plan would you recommend that fits within my budget?I'm a complete beginner, and I greatly appreciate anyone who takes the time to assist me. Hey community, I'd like to export all my airtable data (including files) which turns out to be trickier than (at least) I hoped: I understand that there is a CSV export function. The main issue for me here is that the file(s) are stored via the expiry link which makes it... not really (re)useable.Therefore, is there a way to either transform the expiry link into a permanent link or be able to download the complete data?By complete data I also mean keeping the relations: I noticed that there is a way through zapier to export all the data (as files) but they would then have to be linked to the record manually again (from my understanding). Any input is highly appreciated!Thanks, Michael

why does a 'day date' formula, based on a 'start time' return a day as the day before, when the start time is before 8am? Here is my formula column which is based on my start day/time fieldDATETIME_FORMAT(Start,"D-ddd")
