Hello, in a automation on Airtable I set up a trigger that, when someone submit a form and create a record in a table named "customer", Airtable run a script that have a vlookup function that read a "Program code" value and insert the "Program Name" from "Code" table. If the vlookup have a correspondence than the value of the cell is equal to the "Program Name" if not the cells value is "Not found".After this action I set up a script that wait 20 sec. in order to wait the update of the data in the record and then I put a condition that:If the "Program Name" is "Not found" then send an email "Code not found"Otherwise (and then it means that "Program Name" have the name of the program) then send another email with the landing page and other info. If I test manually this automation with the function "Test Automation" with a selected record  this action work correctly. When I remove all filters and show all fields, the "Download CSV" option is not available when I open options by clicking the view carrot. What am I doing wrong? - Thanks in advance.

Hello,This feels like a fairly simple question but perhaps not so.  I want to be able to have users select a record on Interface Designer, and then be able to click into that record to open up more information about it in the sidebar, as opposed to manually putting grids or fields from that record into the Interface page itself.  If I put the primary field connected to the record picker onto the interface page, it shows as text and isn't "clickable", and you can't make it such, or at least as far as I've found.  Any ideas?Here's a quick snapshot of what I'm trying to achieve.User picks an invoice, has access to the attachment and the invoice line items, but can't "click into" the invoice record to see other details.  I'd like a field right below the record picker that allows the user to open a sidebar for that invoice record.  

Hey,I've started using Airtable recently and have now run into two issues, that stopp me from really using it fully. One of them is:I use Airtable to track deliveries. We get orders which usually contain a series of Deliveries, 99% of the time containing identical items but with different order numbers and delivery dates.I'd love to have one form where a I can put in such orders, which fields to put in as many orders as needed, each creating their own issue upon submitting the form.Is that possible with Airtable and/ or Fillout for Airtable??? Second problem: I need to have items for the deliveries created. I have Inventory items, that already exist. But since items within deliveries get serial numbers, notes, etc., I can't just use them, I need to create ´Delivery Items out of Delivery + Inventory item. Hi !     Coleagues, I have a project in AirTable in a single table with 174 rows and 11 (eleven) categories that I can group these rows.     Each of these 174 tasks has its own "Start Date" and "End Date" column, with date format in it.     I want to know the earllier "Start Date" and the latest "end Date" inside each of these modules, when filtered by them.     (The objective is to show a timeline filtered by these "MODULES", using these fields with this formuila that identifies the earliest and the lates dates... I'm open to other approachs).   I achieve the first step with these two formulas. I’m trying to use the (new-ish?) “When a Button is Clicked” automation trigger. The button is on an Interface in the same table as the Automation. On the automation, the trigger’s configuration instructions are as follows; This trigger is not currently associated with any buttons in an interface. To connect: Open an interface Create or select a button Select “Trigger an automation” under “Button Type” in the properties pane Choose this automation from the list In the interface, I have the “Button type” set to “Run Automation” Under the “Table - Source” it says “Unconfigured Source,” with no options for the source. The Automation option is grayed out. So it seems like the button can’t find the Automation, but the Automation can’t be turned on because I need to fix the configuration…

Hello, I have a problem. I have a client table, a sector table, and a date time table. So I'm linking a client with one sector and some dates. What I need to do is another table to set meetings. I need a form where a company can write the company name, and then choose a sector but only show those dates from a specific sector and the company needs to be able to choose one date from those dates from the sector.  

We have a master table to track all bookings made on our platform, There is then a table for each partner location we have, I would like to automate the updating of the individual locations tables when a booking is added to the master list. Example, Booking 123 is added to master booking list for New York Store, -> Finds table named New York Store -> Adds the new records details to this table

I am using Air Table to capture costs per garment style and there are 12 versions of the costs that are available to use based on importing tariffs and shipping modes. These 12 costs are hard keyed into the base. I would like to be able to make the choice on a tariff rate and a ship mode and have the cost autopopulate into a new cell so I can link this elsewhere in my base. Is there a formula that could be used? 

I'm trying to create an automation that when I update a record then it also updates another record in a different table. I've watched several videos on Youtube on how to do this and it seems pretty straightforward enough.I created the trigger, tested it and it works fine. But the Action is where I keep running into the "Received invalid inputs" error. This is mainly due to the Record ID that's causing the issue it seems. It seems I'm not alone on this issue. I searched on here for answers but it's still doesn't help. What am I missing?Would be great if this Record ID process was simplified since Airtable doesn't show the actual Record ID itself on the tables and records.

I am trying to separate the values in the "ADKAR numerical value" column so that the first number (2) is inputted into the "Awareness value" column. Then so on where I input the next number after the comma into another column, etc.Any help is greatly appreciated! 🙂  

I have created a form in interface, however, i can't embed it into wordpress becasue "this content could not be embedded". Do you have any solution? If I need to use 3rd party App to redevelop this questionaire form and throw back answers to airtable, do you have any App recommendation as this airtable form has created many conditions with logic flow in order to collect questionaire from outsider? Thank you.  

Hi, I really like how the interface designer works to create forms now. Unfortunately though, once a form view is created it's buried deep in the interface menus and it's really hard to tell it's there unels one knows where to look for it. Is there any chance that form views created via interfaces can show up on the main page similar how it works for standard form feature? 

Hi guys!In my company there are 25 employees and I'm just beginning to build a base. We want to have all information about our employees (picture, name, email, phone number, address, birthday, start of the contract, number of days for holidays-leave etc.).We will also track time - work sheet (when someone gets to work and gets home, also when someone is on break) - we are thinking to track this with NFC (phones or cards).Additionally we want to send leave request via Form (for our director - he then approve it via button in his email and we get signed request on our email).And correct number of days (how many holidays you have for the following year).My question is, what is the best way to build base for this type of information? How many tables (how to sort them)? The main issue is with the work sheet. Maybe something like this? 

Hey all, I am trying to add two static images within the extension page designer through the image url but after a few hours the images break and stop working. I have added the images I want to use to another table within the same airtable base and I am copying the image address to add that to the image url for the static image. How do you stop the static images breaking or is there another way to add static images into page designer?Any help would be amazing as I have googled and read other Q&A's and am completely stuck. 

Hi folks,I've been trying to solve this puzzle all day; there are quite a few scripting examples in the community here that I've tried to adapt to my use, to no avail.Here's the situation:These two columns should be ordered exactly the same, except that the one on the right gets jumbled up during a "find records" step in an automation that populates this field.They're ordered this way in the line items table, but for some reason the "find records" step jumbles them up:I need a script or formula that will re-order the line items in ascending order according to the purple-circled numbers in the line item IDs. I have used Batch Update to do the job, but I'm looking for an automated solution that will sort the line items for use i

New to automations - I would like send a reminder email to trigger when date is TODAY.  The field in the record is Target Date.  The automation states "when Target Date is TODAY".  This works, but the trigger continues to send a reminder email beyond the date in the record.  For example, the date is 3/1/24.  The reminder email was sent on 3/1/24.  However, I notice over the weekend that the reminder email was sent on Saturday 3/2 and Sunday 3/3.   

Hi,I've just started looking at creating an Extension, and one of the things I'd like to do is authenticate the user against Azure AD through either implicit or PCKE flows so I can then call internal APIs requiring an AD token. For a normal React app I would use the MSAL library to redirect to AD and then redirect back to the app on successful auth, this however doesn't appear to be possible within an extension due to the lack of callback URL.Is anyone able to help provide some guidance around whether this is possible within Extensions? Perhaps someone is doing something similar with Google/Facebook that may be able to help.Thanks!

 I am trying to automate my order fulfillment process. It's a subscription service where products are in a certain sequence. Subscriptions can be monthly, 6-month, or 12-month. The products are the same and sent out every month but need to be in a specific sequence and depend on the customer's subscription type. I want to generate an output file for the customer when they place an order with the products for the complete duration of their subscription so I can track where they are and how many orders are left in the future.I am creating an automation where the trigger is 'when a record is created' in the Orders table. Then, I use 'Find Records' which searches for records in another table (product table which lists each product delivered every month) depending on the condition where subscription equals subscription type. Hey all,Been trying to implement Airtable webhooks for our company however i've ran into a slight problem with the signature of the webhook itself. No matter how I move things around, encode or decode, it refuses to match the signature provided by Airtable.The code below generates a HMAC but doesnt match the one provided by Airtable. I cant use the Crypto module since thats Node only which sucks. Is there any secret sauce that im missing from this code? I've contacted support for the first time in the summer of 2022 (!) and I'm still having the same 2 issues: copy/pasting between long text fields doesn't copy the text stylecopy/pasting makes the screen jump from the place in the long text field where I'm copy/pasting to the top of the screenBoth issues are VERY annoying. Is anyone else (still) having this problem?  @MaddieJ, now that support only seems to work for Enterprise clients, how can I escalate this best?! After hearing from support back then that they would look into it, never heard back from them 😑
