Hey everyone,I have a question regarding second-level filtering. In a classic CRM setup, I have a table that holds all my opportunities. I have another table that holds all my activities (say to do items that can be linked to opportunities in airtable) that contains a status field (to do, doing, done)My goal is to display all opportunities that do not have a planned (planned = status is not done) activity linked to the record  (every sales deal should have a next step planned. 100% stolen feature from pipedrive).Any way to achieve that in the interface?So far, I was able to half-achieve it by using the "when linked record field is empty" but that doesn't solve my problem since it would fail to highlight opportunities that have a linked activity marked as done, but not other activities linked.

Hi,I am fairly new to Airtable. Sorry for my newbie question.We are looking for a way to trigger an automation:when the Field STATUS changed FROM "Assigned to" TO "Working on it".It's the:FROM "..." TO "..."option we can't find in Airtable.We often use these trigger types in monday.com, but now I just can't find it in Airtable.Is there a way to work around to get this "from" - "to" trigger in Airtable?

Hi folks, appreciate any help you are able to give here....  I have a base where the users enter pricing information from suppliers.  Sometimes the pricing is given to the users including tax and sometimes excluding tax.  At present all data is entered excluding tax forcing a manual calculation which is clunky.  I would like to have an either/or useability whereby the price ex tax cell is locked for input if the price inc tax cell is entered and vice versa... is this possible?Thank you 🙏

Hi all!Maybe someone has solved a similar problem.I'm making a kind of task tracker, but I can't solve the following problem.If a task (record) is created with several responsible people, I need the automation to work and split one record for each responsible person separately, that is, for 1 record to have 1 responsible person, but initially the ability to create a record for several people remains.The resulting flow is as follows:1) A record is created through an interface with several responsible persons2) Automation creates similar records by alternately assigning one responsible person to each record until the number of responsible persons ends3) The first task created through the interface is either deleted or the first responsible person is assigned to itHow can such a problem be solved?

Here's what I want to do. I have a field that lists percentages for the fees my company wants to add to a contract. Admin fee 10%, Late fee 5%, etc. If I were to stack these fees, I want to have a field that returns the sum of each percentage multiplied by the contract subtotal field. Is there any way to do this? Like: SUM ( (10% x $800), (5% x $800) ) but where it could recognize the array and do the math for each percentage. 

I have a small team plan with 3 accounts users and pay on one credit card. However, there is a base where I need to collaborate externally. If we have a paid plan, can our external partner collaborate/edit our base for free? If not, can they create their own separate account and pay but still be able to collaborate/edit our base?I am trying to avoid the need to put them on my payment plan? Please recommend the best course of action for external partners. 

Hello All!I'm trying to make the Airtable search function in Make/Intergromat say "IF a google drive file name contains an Airtable content id, then show me that record" so I can then add the files web view link to the record.  So the finished automation would be: WHEN "finished file" is uploaded to "finished folder" THEN add the google drive link to the records Finished URL field The current formula im using us IF(FIND("{{1.name}}", {Title}&""), "yes", "no")It's "working" but the results are unrelated to the file name... see screenshot What forumla should I use to tell Make/Intergromat to search for the record?

I have created a formula that gives employees a personalized link to fill out a form so that when they fill out the form, they only need to answer the questions and don't have to put their name, employee id, etc. Is there a way to get around not having them sign in to use the personalized links?I have already turned off the "See who submitted this form" box and the under Share Link settings the "Restrict access to enterprise email domains" option. It doesn't make the person sign in with the regular link to the form, only the personalized one. Hoping there is a way around this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey guys, I’ve got several automations set up where the action is sending emails from my Gmail account. However, the “From” name in these emails isn’t aligned to the “From” name on my Gmail account - it’s simply displaying my email address as the “From” name. Can anyone help?

I have a Table that lists everyone who has taken our leadership courses (Participant table). Fields include Participant Name and FLL Attended.I have a second table listing everyone who is a salaried leader in our company (600 records). I want to have a column (field) in the Salaried Leaders table that shows if they have taken our FLL course. How do I set it up so that the Salaried Leaders table links to the Participant Table AND populates the field with the class they took?  I know I can do a linked record, but then I have to manually select and that is inefficient.I know the answer is probably pretty simple, but I just can't get there on my own 🙄

In my scenario, I have a trailer that may have multiple batteries assigned to it. When a battery needs to be removed, the client brings up the battery detail in an Interface and clicks 'Remove'. Hi there,Just wanted to see and confirm, that after duplicating a database, if you delete any records in the duplicate, it doesn't impact the original database, i.e. that you don't delete records in the original.  I feel they are both separate entities, but wanted to make sure.Thanks,-Robert

Hi all, I need to build a form to collect a person’s name and email address but when they sign up a small application fee is also collected. I am thinking of using Stripe or Braintree for payment processing. The key question here is where will the backend database be hosted? On Stripe/Braintree or on Airtable or on both? Another angle w.r.t the same question: how to go about making a form that accepts a payment? Have you done this before? If so, how did you do it? Thank you so very much, Freedom.

You guys have been so helpful in the past, I'm hoping you can help jog my brain once again!Scenario:  Organization that wants to track membership recruitment efforts with something like a CRM funnel.  They will need multiple funnel / pipeline scenarios, each with its own set of steps.  Each step will need it's own metrics for tracking results.  For instance, if one step in the funnel is inviting new contacts to join a facebook group, the metric they would track is whether the new contact did, in fact, join the fb group.  So the metric will change for each step of the funnel.  Some of the steps may be common to multiple funnels.Each funnel can have multiple people in it simultaneously, spread across the funnel's varying steps.In addition, people could (potentially) be in multiple funnels simultaneously.Oy.Anyone have thoughts as to how to structure the base?  I'm struggling to wrap my brain around so many relations

Hello,I need two solutions or two ideas for reflection concerning my use of forms via the Interface part of Airtable.I have two separate forms for my CRM build with Airtable :- Form 1: Create a product that will be stored in the product table of my database. (Each time I have to create a new product, because I make unique products)- Form 2: Create a quote, which will include one of the products created in Form 1, and stored in the quote table.I've noticed a few limitations, and I'd like your help.When I create a product via Form1, instead of getting a message telling me that my item has been created, I would have liked to have the id of my created product displayed in return.When I create a quote, and I want to associate one or more products, unfortunately I don't have access to detailed data in the pop-up that displays the complete list of my products. Hi there,I understand that Airtable webhooks have this limitation:The number of webhooks per base is limited to 10. A single OAuth integration can create up to 2 webhooks per base.In a nutshell, users of our integration are creating automations picking Base and Table, and configuring what they want to happen when an event is received. Meaning, a user may build 5 automations for the same Base, which obviously conflicts with the above limitation; however, our users aren't and shouldn't be bothered w/ these API limitations.In order to mitigate this, I'd like to register notifications to a Base (and all, or all relevant tables within that Base), and would then like to broadcast events that I receive from Airtable to the interested consumers. A problem here is that the event payload only contains `base.id` and `webhook.id` (along w a timestamp and the content-mac header). That's pretty unfortunate,

I want to make absolutely sure that the automation will never run again on that record under any circumstances, - even if I accidentally change a field and the record records a new modified date/time.Is this possible please?

I'm trying to create an interface which will enable review and selection of candidates, in order to select them for our program. They will be reviewed by 4 jurors, so I want each juror to have their own view in interface to give grades (1-5) to each candidate. So basically all 4 jurors  will review and give points to each candidate. I see there is an option in Interfaces to set up to 'view as', but I'm not sure if I can set it up this way, so that each collaborator has their own 'view' all in one interface page, based on their collaborator account. I have attached a screenshot to refer to, as to what I mean with the 'view as' option for different collaborators. Otherwise, is there a better way to set this up? 

I've having a little bit of trouble wrapping my head around this automation. I believe I know how to do this using multiple automations but I'm wondering if there is a way to get it all done in a single automation.Table 1 essentially calculates payments to submit to contractors for each "job". Currently, I need to integrate my app with Airtable, my customer can connect Oauth with Airtable and sync data from my app to Airtable view calendar. I need to get a list workspaceId to create a new base or table, but I only can get workspaceId with enterprise API, I am a little confused should I buy plan enterprise with my account developer or do all my customers need to have an enterprise account?

I'm so stumped on this. I've been creating automation to autolink my records, but now I have a messy array field and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to autolink it.
