Hi everyone, I'm a bit new to using tools like AT and am looking for some feedback. My overall goal is to maintain membership data within organization(s). These organizations are linked together to some capacity and have overlapping members. I want to use this to my advantage so that updates from one organization update the profile of the person (and thus other organizations).I included some organizational charts below to get a better idea of what I’m trying to accomplish. The main problems I’m having with the current setup is:How to handle the unique person ID problem. Data lists provided are not 100% standardized with complete information. only 10% of records may have a phone/email, so do I resort to fuzzy matching based on first/last + zip code?User defined fields. Some clients may have a field they want to store for information like membership ID #, DOB, etc. How do I allow for this without adding a new field everytime and updating all my automations.

Hi everyone 👋I’m running into an issue with an Automation setup and was wondering if anyone else has dealt with something similar.Context: Trigger: Webhook (connected to a form on my website) Action: Google Docs: Create doc Problem:Sometimes the automation fails with the following error:The contents contain unexpected formatting that cannot be convertedIt doesn’t happen every time, only occasionally, which makes it hard to debug.Has anyone experienced this with the Google Docs integration? Could it be related to certain formatting coming through from the form/webhook payload? Is there a way to set the time zone for all tables in a base? I just noticed that my “where Ordered is today” filtered out all orders and it’s only 6:31pm – the day is not over yet. :neutral_face:

Hello,I’m looking for a way to create a schedule based on projects stored in a main list (with the project name and team assignment).I’d like to display a calendar running from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday only.A single project may be assigned to multiple days, and I’d like the view to show: Teams arranged along the X-axis, Days of the week along the Y-axis. The planning would be managed in AirTable, but visualized in Noloco.I’ve been trying different approaches but haven’t managed to get a clear solution.If a kind soul could help me set up such an interface, it would be greatly appreciated!Gauthier Arnould

I think I have painted myself into a corner here. Appreciate any advice.We’ve migrated from another system that generated autonumbers for our Leads.I’ve imported all the  leads them into my Leads table. It is critical I keep the old data - it can’t be changed as all our  work for these clients has been against that specific ID number.You can see from my Screenshot that column A has the ID number (now a text field), column B has the customer name, and column C is a joining of the two (but just a text field for now, no formula/concatenation used).I have tossed in a 4th autonumber column to try and create a formula that carries on the numbering from column A (Lead Number). But now I’m stumped. Having an ‘m’ at the beginning of the Lead number does not help - otherwise I presume a simple sum formula to add the lead number to the autonumber would suffice. It’s like I need historical numbers to be text, but all future records to be a formula.Any i

I’ve been banging my head against a wall here. `block run` appears to run successfully but the webserver isn’t returning content and instead is returning a 404. A `block release` works successfully and I can see the `Hello World` in my extension. It’s running on port 9000 and it’s listening cause I get a response, it just doesn’t have any content.Any ideas?

THE HELP ARTICLE SAYS IT’S LOCATED IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER.  IT’S NOT INTERFACE DESIGNER "ADD ELEMENT" BUTTON IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. What an I doing wrong?   Do I have to install “Interface Designer”? I click “ Interfaces” on the top center of my base and have created several interfaces.  None of them have an “ADD ELEMENT” button. I’m simply trying to add some instructions on this interface and I don’t need it to be a long text field.  I just want to add a Text element to add helpful formatted text, links, lists, descriptions to my interfaces. SUPER FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

How to populate a blanc single column in Hubspot from a filled column in Airtable using integromat?

Hello! I run an auction house for a primarily text based MMORPG that’s PG-13 with the use of Airtable. Lately, we’ve received some submissions that are clearly meme/pranks. The problem is, that some of the material that have been submitted have involved nudity and acts that are lewd. Which breaks the rules of the auction house, as well as the MMORPG that the auction house is ran for (It’s the internet. Some players in the game are minors.). That being said, the staff for the game has asked that I grab the IP address of those that have submitted such images/content so that those users can be banned as appropriate by the game’s TOS. Is there a way for me to discover an IP address of the form submitter or figure out whom submitted what?

Is there a way to use Google Analytics to track table views?

I’m running into a strange issue. I have a table of records that I filter by ‘Created date’ before passing it into “Generate text with AI.” At this AI stage, I’m just filtering entries where the Source is a scientific source (peer-reviewed papers, preprints, PubMed, etc.).This used to work perfectly. But today the output only contains 1 row, even though my input table has more valid entries. If I feed the AI a table containing only the two Nature entries, it correctly outputs both. But when I pass in the full table (with more rows from other sources), it only outputs one Nature entry. This is not a new topic and I’ve read through all other topics on adding images to email automations using the <img> I use Airtable formula: IF(Attachments, REGEX_EXTRACT(Attachments, "(?:[^(]*\\()([^)]*)"))to create the url. The image file name has no underscores in it. I’ve done the img src=”formula url”/ and doesn’t work.I’ve done the Expiring Download trick and doesn’t work.I’ve created a long text field and added the whole image tag in it then pointed to the long text field in the email body and still didn’t work.I get the broken images. Results all attempts I’ve made below in image. Any insights where something is going wrong, I feel I’m almost there.

I am using a new base created with the help of AI. I have a form to enter data, however two blocks say “field deleted” and at the bottom, the “Create” button is greyed out, and it says “The form cannot be submitted because some of the fields have been deleted.” How do I delete these fields in a way that the form isn’t looking for them, and the form can be submitted?

I am trying to build a system for a one-man business so the owner will be the only user.  While I’m building at least, how do I restrict the owner from being able to edit anything other than what has been allowed in Interfaces?

I have two forms on my website: An interest-gauging form where the client fills in their name, email, and a brief message, and a longer form that they’re emailed later. 📄I’d rather not have “John Smith” in two separate databases. Is there a way, upon submitting the second form, for the answers to be combined with or added to the records from the first form, like if they share the same email address or something? 🤔

Just curious if anyone here uses a form on a website as a contact submission form. Do you have a problem with spam entries? I’m thinking of replacing my contact form with an embedded Airtable form.

Hey guys I am new to airtable and trying to develop a weekly schedule for our team based on the projects that are scheduled for that week.We have approx. 20 staff in the field each week, multiple projects running each day and each week. Some projects will only last one day, others might last 5-10 days.I have managed to develop the full week schedule with staff assigned to each job. However, we often need to change the staff each day on each job i.e. a project that lasts 5 days might have different people on it each day. Is there a way to show this view for a week, with the different people on the projects on each dayHere is a picture of our current excel spreadsheet we use that I am trying to replicate Thanks heaps

I’m new to Airtable and could use some advice on setting up my workspace. I’m trying to use Airtable for project management on our self GC custom home build. Right now, I’ve set up: A Budget table (very detailed with financial info) A Schedule/Stages table (broad view of schedule, start & end date, duration, contractor) A Sub-Stages table (all of the “tasks” under each stage, status, priority, responsible party, notes, etc.) The problem I’m running into is that the line items in my Budget table are identical to the line items in my Sub-Stages table. I’d like to avoid duplicating them, but I’m stuck because Airtable doesn’t allow lookups directly from the primary field in another table and I feel like I am missing a better way to do this.What’s the best way to structure this so that my budget line items can also feed into my sub stages, while still keeping

Hi fantastic people, I am struggling with an automation.  I basically have one base that I have synched to my main base, certain rows. I then want these rows from the synched view to populate onto my main table. I have managed to get the event name to populate over but the dates do not. I have screen shots of each step below. Any help would be great.  This screen shot you can see the Main Sub Task populates to the Topic fine. I then want the Main Start Date to populate to the Enter Start Date and the Main End Date to the Enter End Date.  This is the actions part which fails: This is the update record part which is successful

I am using airtable to dynamic my website content and erliear it was working but now because of i have free version and too many request are there in the website so it shows me “429” error code and data doesnot fetched.

I have a `rollup` column, `A` that returns a `date`.  for example, 2024-07-24.I have a `lookup` column, `B`, that returns an array of dates.  For example, 2018-07-31, 2021-07-30, 2024-10-08Is there a way to  determines if any of the dates in column `B` are within 30 days (before or after) of the date in column `A`?  I need the formula to return a boolean.

I have a fairly simple database containing 5 or 6 tables. All of these tables are joined one way or another. I am trying to create a word document using Formstack and to run it via the manual integration which I intend to automate through the use of a button in an Interface when I get this working. I have built my first document and mapped all of the field tokens from my Airbase table into my Formstack document and it works a treat. I have now gone to build my second document which uses some fields from the table which I am in when I select the record in Airtable from the integration but it also references so fields from another table albeit in the same base. These fields do not pull through. I have recreated a link field and chosen to show the “add look ups” fields from the other table in the table where I am running the document form, re-written the placeholder references for Formstack and hey presto, it works! Hi,We run a photo studio CRM with Airtable, and would like to start storing customer end product images there. This would mean some 20-30 images at 2-3 mega each and hundreds of customers annually. We’re on the Team plan so have 20 gigs limitation per base for attachments, so space would end quite soon.The for me easy and obvious solution was to write to Airtable sales to ask if one could just pay for more storage, since we don’t need the Business plan additional features (and eventually that would also hit storage limitations), but they don’t seem to be responding.I know the storage limit is per base so I guess one could somehow create more bases just for adding attachment storage, but I don’t see how to do that. And it seems this would create problems when we need the second, the the third “extra” base.Hence my question here, what would your experiences be with this?Any best practices here?Rgds,Björn
