Dear community,All the data in my database is formatted as DD/MM/YYYY. This question is about meetings we have. The meetings should be link to other records. But when I want to link the meeting with date format DD/MM/YYYY in another table, the format is MM/DD/YYYY, which is quite confusing. Any idea how I could solve this?There is a screenshot of the situation attached. 

Zoho Writer (wordprocessor similar msword) allows creation of powerful templates for mail merge, form generation etc. Has anyone created any extension to use airtable data to do mail merge for these automation templates.  https://www.zoho.com/documentautomation/

Hello!I'm trying to add a button to an interface and call an automation on click, according to this guide it should be possible, however when I try to follow the steps I face this problem:Supposedly the button should have the action option "Run automation" as shown in this picture:However when I add a button to my interface that option is not present, as seen in this picture:Any help with this issue would be appreciated!

So many new goodies from Airtable yesterday! I did not see the JotForm integration coming, but was so excited when I read the newsletter. After playing around with the feature, I realized that mapping JotForm Fields to Airtable’s Linked Record Fields is not supported at this time. I contacted JotForm about this and was told they put in a feature request to their backend team, but couldn’t guarantee it would happen. No idea if this is something entirely on JotForm’s end, or if Airtable is able to help them maybe ( :slightly_smiling_face: ?), but I wanted to put in a word here and say how helpful enabling this feature would be. Without being able to map JotForm fields to linked record fields in Airtable, the integration is basically useless in all of my workflows. Anyone else have any thoughts?

I am in Seattle, using my local time zone, Pacific Standard Time (GMT -8). One of my columns, ‘Start Time’, contains a Date value of “1/2/2016 10:00”, but when I reference it in a separate column using DATETIME_FORMAT({Start Date}, ‘MM/DD/YY HH:mm’) the time displayed is 8 hours ahead (18:00). The same thing occurs for any other times I reference. I see that I could use SET_TIMEZONE, but do I need to use this whenever I want to have the results of a formula in my time zone? Is this a setting I can change in my account or base, anywhere?

Hi,I shared an interface with a collaborator, and he used to be able to change the status of tasks from the mobile app.Now, he can’t change the status only from the mobile app, even though he has the Creator role. It still works fine on desktop.anyone has an idea why is this happening?

Can someone help? I am trying to prefill our customer intake form with the source so I know where the form was filled out (i.e. from our website, at an event, ect.). When I change the URL it is showing correctly in the form, but when I submit it to Airtbale the source field is empty. Am I missing something?

I come from MS Access, so I realize I’m in uncharted territory here. I have several instances where I want to create a table that serves as a list for dropdowns to use across multiple other tables, and I’m not sure how to do that without it being really messy. For example, I want to make a list of departments as a table, rather than having a “single select” field type, so that if I add departments or change the name of departments, it will update across all tables that need to reference a department, rather than needing to update a dropdown field in every table that uses Department, every time there is a change in department names or structure. I have one table for order requests - every request needs a department. I have another table for personnel - every person is assigned to a department, etc. I’m finding that if I create a linked record, I’m getting a field added to department that may have thousands of linked records. I’m using this formula: WEEKNUM({Registered})Where “Registered” is the date a user registered on my website. This assigns each record a week number according to the Jan-Dec calendar.I want August 17-23, 2025 to be my Week 1 and January 25-31, 2026 to be my last week (Week 24). How can I change this?

In my data I have two fields, name of a program and hours. In the screen grab I’d like to move the hours in front of the program name. Is there a way to do this? This view exists in my interface. 

I’m trying to create an automation that sends an email to a table user when a “due date” field is tomorrow.  The trigger and action tests both get green check marks but when I turn on the automation, it shows a fail in the history because there’s nothing in the “To” field. It all looks like it should work so I’m not sure where I’m going wrong. Has anyone been able to make something like this work?   

I see a new layout option is available on the interface designer. Selecting this option just populates an empty page with a drop-down field off all my tables. I cannot for the life of me find anything anywhere in Airtable that might allow me to add an interface extension. Having the Base extensions in the interface would be SO amazing. 

Does anyone know if there is a special developer account or registration method that allows us to use the features of Enterprise as developers so we can showcase things for our clients? For example, I am currently hitting the 125k record limit in a mission critical base located in our primary Business tier workspace. I have no business upgrade path as I am not on Enterprise myself and yet I need to be able to support our client at the Enterprise level without joining their organization.

I am adding descriptions to records and they are showing up in Grid View but not in Calendar View. How do I get descriptions to show on Calendar View on the AirTable calendar imbedded on my website.

Hi all,We're working with a List view interface where users use the relatively new manual sorting feature to create a list of approx. 30 materials that make 1 product. I've added an automation to copy these materials over to another product, which works fine except for the sorting.When running test runs with the automation, I noticed that the automation's 'Sort list' step, when set to sort by the 'Manual sort' field, gives a different result than the List view (or data view).In data view, I've copied the 'Manual sort' values into a single line text field and applied the same sorting to that field instead of the 'Manual sort' field. This results in yet another different sorting (which seems most logical to me, placing 'bXa' above 'bXWV' in an ascending list).I've attached images of the automation setup and the different results in data view. I hope this helps clarify the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

​ I have followed this to a tee but I am missing something here! I have a table called Certified Partner Data (CPD). It is essentially my Main table from the exercise above. I have a field called TRIs in that CPD Table. I need to rollup the sum of that column. I have created a Calc table and made it Link to CPD. I see all of records of CPD in one row of Calc. I go back to CPD and create a Lookup field going back to the rollup in Calc of the TRIs.Below is what I see when I when I view CPD. I have it filtered to a single month and you can see the TRIs column = 15 (column total at bottom) yes my Total TRIs is showing 554. That is the total NON FILTERED. The filtering on CPD has no effect on the Calc results. I am SO close but can’t seem to get this part to wor

in airtable interface we created an interface that can create a treatment plan automatically by using scripting but now our client are having difficulty creating the treatment plan automatically as it continue to show timeout. Don't know why is like that? 

Hope I’m putting this in the right forum. I could swear that, a long time ago, I saw Gareth Pronovost demonstrate how you can generate a URL that will load an existing record into a form so a user can edit it. All I recall really recall is that it involves getting the record ID into the URL. But I’ve been searching for how to do this and can’t find it. I’m talking about a technique that does not require anything outside Airtable. I already know how to do this using miniAutomations (and that works great). But I’m trying to do it without miniAutomations or any other helper service. Anybody able to throw me a clue? Added a minute later: To be clear, I’m NOT talking about prepopulating fields in the form. I know how to do that, too, using ‘prefill_’ and encoding the URL. When you do that it simply prepopulates certain fields with values, but when user hits Submit it creates a new record. I want to edit an existing record and then save the changes to the same record.

Hi all, I’m trying to setup a project management database with a grouped timeline view in an interface. I’ve worked out how to colour my individual ‘phases’ but it appears there is no way to recolour the overview lines that show the overview timelines of each group. See screenshot below The default colour is very hard to see on white (Shown in the green box below) , and the overview line on the top-most group (shown in the red box) is essentially invisible… Is there any way to change these default colour schemes? currently this limitation is standing in the way of Airtable being a usable timeline management tool for us.

I don’t see any extensions like Field List or Base Schema for the interfaces. Does anyone have a solution for getting a quick list of all of your pages? Ideally currently published, but getting all would also be ok.Thanks for your thoughts!

Hey everyone,In my databases interface section I have two interfaces containing several list views, that are of course referring to the same data. The first interface is ment to be for typing in data in our planning process and mostly used from desktop devices. The second interface is for executing purposes and is mostly used on mobile devices on location. This interface should be read only.Summarized:When we are in the office, we are planning and typing in data in the first interface. When we are out of office, executing jobs, we log in to our accounts an our mobile devices to read the condensed and important data.BUT:What we are faceing is, that it seems, that within the interface section of our data base alle lists behave the same in terms of a field being read only or being editable.In easy words: When I change the status of a field from read only to editable in one list in the interface section it does this not only

Hello,we have a ticket/appointment form, where we add all relevant team members to the appointment. Now I would like to create a page in timeline form, where I group by single team members and see all the appointments that are assigned to this person.Currently this is the case: I add an appointment through the form and select multiple team members. Then, in the view, if grouped by the Team Members, it shows me for each combination of team members the appointment.  How do I change this, that I see for each team member the appointments?Do I need to create additional fields in the base? Thank you so much for your support!Best,Phil

So a big reason I chose airtable was that it had an app, so that myself and my other user could input data in the field. Except now that I've spent dozens and dozens of hours building something with forms etc, I see that forms don't actually work on the android app...!What's the work around for quick in-field form submission? That's a surprising oversight, and I see people have been complaining about this for years..
